Set amid brick streets and historic facades, this Saturday market showcases small farms and artisans. It’s a staple in downtown Sanford’s cultural calendar and a favorite in local date and travel guides.

Cute and intriguing farmer’s market on most Saturday morning. I am not sure if I’d be making actual purchases (items might be excellent and unique but they are not inexpensive) but it’s fun to browse through. Also, if coupled with the food truck nearby, then it will be a hack of Saturday morning/afternoon experiences.

Sanford market is awesome. VERY friendly vendors. Lots of produce, gourmet breads, cakes, cookies, dips, spreads, honey, and more. They even have fresh, free range eggs. One entire section for crafts, including homemade oils, pet products, clothing, etc. If your looking to try your hand at selling your goods, this is the place. Michelle is the coordinator and is very nice and helpful. A lovely weekend stroll surrounded by many delicious, award winning restaurants.

All the vendors were lovely and chatty! Wish they had MORE vendors! Fav was the Jerusalem Street Food vendor (pita chips, chipolte hummus, black olives, tzatziki, baklava, halva were amaaaazing!). Also purchased freeze dried candy, spices (they are amazing!), soaps (mini teddy bear soaps for kids!) and some tumblers (super cute designs).

The green man is who I go see. He has great produce he grows himself. Worth it to go help your neighbor and enjoy his fruits of labor. No additives.....

Love it...not to overwhelming with vendors and the produce guy Preston has some good deals and fresh produce...I noticed the veggies don't have all the waxy stuff on the outside and the flavors are different from produce sold in a store...way better. And I love Jerusalem Street Food...fresh hummus, pitas, and baklava! Amazing flavors

I come with my friends to get coffee at the farmers market and do all of my shopping. The Jerusalem food stand is amazing. The produce is fantastic. And all of the vendors are super friendly :-). It’s a great place to go with family, pets and friends!
