Great tasting! Emma made our time enjoyable, relaxed and educational. You could feel her passion and love for what she does! This wine family's history is like no other. Little did I know that one vineyard could participate in so many other wineries. Excellent selections for tasting all while enjoying the breeze off the vineyard on their beautiful patio area. A must do for all and a definite return for us in the future!

I visited Sangiacomo during a tour with Platypus wine tours, and we had a wonderful time! Kristen met us at the door, discussed the history of Sangiacomo, and showed us the vineyard, all while pouring delicious wine. Kristen was very knowledgeable and we felt like we learned more about wine during this visit than we did at the other vineyards. The heated tent and comfy blankets outside created the perfect cozy ambiance!

This is a very intimate experience compared to the other wine tastings in the valley. We appreciated being only two of the other 8 or so guests here. The wines were exceptional. One rose, two chardonnay, and three pinot noir. Andrew made this experience truly stand out. He was willing to answer our novice wine questions and not make us feel underappreciated and miniature like at other wineries. Highly recommend a stop here.

The wine is exceptional! It’s consistently very good. Our wine steward was knowledgeable and added many excellent stories. Love this place!!

A favorite spot! Just did a paint and sip event too - so fun and beautiful sunset to go with painting, bites and wine!

We hosted a big group (60ish people) event at Sangiacomo, and the service was amazing. Staff was super friendly. Everything was already set up by the time we got there. We got a little tour of the place, learned a bit about the family history and the story behind their logo (which is very touching and sweet). It's a small winery but provides a very intimate setting and has some amazing views, especially during this time of the year.

Google
Great to visit the farm where my favorite grapes come from and find new chards to swoon over. I was setup with a custom chardonnay tasting on the beautiful patio and even got some help as to where to stay for the night in nearby Sanoma. I will definitely be back and recommend other chard lovers to put this stop on their list.

Yelp
What a fun place to be members! We were guest of Sangiacomo members and I have to say, these people know how to day drink! The folks who work here are friendly and welcoming. They knew their members' names and they introduced themselves to new guests and strike up conversations. The wine party ticket comes with a glass of wine but if you buy 4 tickets, you can opt to get a bottle of wine. There was a huge charcuterie table of cured meats, huge pieces of crumbled cheeses, olives, nuts, chocolates and dried fruits. It was gorgeous!! The winery setting is simply beautiful! I love all the rusty trucks and tractor decorated with pumpkins. And with the autumn colored grape vines, the scenery was just majestic! We couldn't help but have our own little photo shoot. Haha. I can see why members want to stay members here.

Yelp
Spectacular experience from beginning to end in true Italian culture. This is a stunning vineyard and we loved learning a little about the history at the beginning of the tasting. The overall experience was well thought out from the water bottles to the crackers to the blankets on a chilly day. The wine is spectacular and so is the service and you can't beat the views. We can't wait to return here!

Yelp
My friends and I had a great experience at Sangiacomo Winery! We chose the Signature Terrace Tasting & Vineyard Experience. From the personalized welcome, with our names on the tasting menu, to the intimate vineyard tour and informative insights into the family's history, every detail was thoughtfully crafted. The wines, particularly the Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs, were outstanding, and the outdoor tent, with heaters provided, created a cozy atmosphere. Our host Andrew was knowledgeable and personable, adding to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend Sangiacomo Winery for a memorable wine tasting experience.

Yelp
We stopped here on a whim and they were super friendly and accommodating. Great wine and great atmosphere.

Yelp
We went here for our wedding anniversary and it was really an amazing experience. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by our host. She gave us the history of the winery and of course served us incredible wines. The atmosphere is like being at home away from home. We will go back. If you don't want a commercialized type of thing you should head here.

Yelp
Amazing wines, amazing winery, an amazing experience! The staff, especially the best wine tasting guide Kristen, was just stellar - so knowledgeable about all of the delicious wines and full of fantastic facts about the winery. Highly highly recommend! Can't want to come back!

Yelp
Mike and steve & his family are some of the nicest people ive ever met. Their father angelo just passed away took a chance on vineyards from raising fruit and they are up to 1,600 acres and have amazing wine. The tasting area and staff were also super friendly inviting and a fun place to visit close to downtown sonoma. Great atmosphere. Plenty of parking

Yelp
My wife and I dropped in without reservations. We were promptly greeted and accommodated by friendly staff. We ended up being treated to a great experience and amazing wine. This winery is definitely a destination for anyone in the Sonoma Wine Country.

Yelp
As I enjoy one of their amazing Chardonnay's, I'm reminded how wonderful it is to be part of their club/family. Wineries everywhere work to hire the right people to share the winery story. Sangiacomo has this down to science. EVERYONE that works there are wonderful people, but I have to give a shout out to the one that makes all the moving parts a seamless transition. Lee Ann, front desk, makes it all happen! Everyone does wonderful work, but nothing happens till you've met w Lee Ann and she is the unofficial boss! Their wines continue to be excellent, their customer service exceeds their wines, and that's tough to do! Take it from a Kentucky kid that loves bourbon, Sangiacomo wine is what Sonoma Valley was founded on. Rich in tradition, love of family, and sharing bountiful harvests!

Karen M.

Yelp
If you only visit one winery in Sonoma this should be the one! Great wine, beautiful property, wonderful family story and Mandy made it the perfect experience. Terrific tour and tasing. Four of us joined the wine club and Mandy made everything so relaxing, not rushed and oh so comfortable. Amazing wine and can't wait for the next shipment to come!

Yelp
Came here with a group of 9 people for a bachelorette party, and we all agreed that our experience at Sangiacomo Vineyards was AMAZING! We did a wine tour and tasting, where our wine connoisseur greeted us all with a glass of chardonnay, gave us a rundown of how the grapes are harvested, walked through the vineyards, tasted a few grapes, and drank all the wine, which was beautifully paired with hard and soft cheeses, different nuts and crackers, and fig jam. Yum. 100% would recommend this place for any wine goers, especially if you want to learn about the winemaking process beyond the glass!

Yelp
I've driven by so many times and finally got to go and so glad I did! Such a great history of a family of wine growers and now wine makers. A gorgeous facility, lovely wines and one of the best hostesses ever - Hailey! They make lovely Chards and Pinots. And as you will see in the picture, they supply grapes to many many high end wineries. Thanks for a lovely day and a fabulous experience!!@!

Deborah W.

Yelp
Gorgeous views, great wines, fantastic guide. Could not be more delighted. Go! Beautiful place to sip yum.

Yelp
Wow! I don't know what I need to say about the beautiful tasting room, not just a typical one in Sonoma Square, but a spacious, airy, down the road from downtown Sonoma, with vineyards view, breezy, outdoor, so you feel safe during this unprecedented time... Tables are more than 12 ft apart outdoor! Safety first to all guests, and we are greatly appreciated. I got no idea that they were 1 of the oldest/largest grapes growers in the wine country, in fact when you first walk in. The wall of fame, has easily about 100 of wines/labels that they sell grapes too... that's amazing! Finally the Sangiacomo decided to make their own wines! Then opened this tasting room during the pandemic which not many people know of yet... possibly till now because of my big mouth :) or my yelping out loud! I was stunted to get a reservation the same week to get in! Now! Listen entitlement Yelper you, yes you! DO NOT SHOW UP WITHOUT a reservation and give them a bad review, so not fair! Yo, so many people traveling to the wine country like us, staycation because we were so sick at home! Our traveling bug got us locked down... We haven't visited Sonoma for over 2 years! Restaurants we couldn't get in, hotel was $500 only + tax + resort fee too $600 still $400 cheaper than Napa! Just to show you how CRAY it gets here! The pandemic make travelers mad... and some got rude, high expectations and whack AF! Let's NOT be that person.... Be reasonable, be polite, be respectful and plan ahead for a good old time... ask them about their FRIDAY SUNSET tasting... oh lovers, can you hear me roaring??? A perfect proposal spot... shewewt don't tell anyone :-) With that said, Sangiacomo Wine Tasting Room was unbelievable to us. Mr. Andrew Smith, cute, and was so gracious, so accommodating, so knowledgeable, so kind... I set my expectations so low... and we were so incredibly gracious for the vineyard tour; the wine was tasty! Chardonnay and Pinot Noir was what they are known for... but you got to try the Cabernet Sauvignon, where my Yelp guys at? At a person who is in the trade, by studying wine and appreciation for the craft... It was bomb good! Ladies! Forget about the cougar juice, we are too young for that.... You will be in love with their Chardonnay... might be over your everyday budget but hey, if anything the pandemic teaches me, it's that you gotta live life a little! Treat yourself... Reward your life with finer things in life m.. and that, my dear yelpers... Including food and wine along the way... Let my photos show you the way... because my broken English can't describe my experience here... Make a reservation for yourself and you thank me later! Can't wait to come back... Skip the hubby.. I bring my ladies crew'

Yelp
We usually like smaller boutique wineries and when we drove in we were afraid it would be too corporate for us but we quickly felt welcomed. Really appreciate that they started as farmers and built this from the ground up. Andrew and Mandy were great host. It was a rainy day so we tasted inside but still had a lovely view of the vineyards. Everyone was super knowledgeable about the wines. All of their wines are very unique and really really nice. We have been to the Sonoma area a lot and this is now one of our favorite stops. We took several bottles with us. We didn't join wine club mainly because we have too many clubs now. I would highly recommend this. It was a really great experience.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of tasting at this amazing winery last Friday. Andrew and Meghan were excellent hosts. They explained their farming methods with a nice walk in the vineyards, we got to sample some tasty chardonnay grapes while drinking their wine. I am typically a ABC drinker (anything but Chardonnay) but they have converted me! I love the Four Siblings Chard, Sonoma Coast Pinot and refreshing Vin Gris rose. We enjoyed the most beautiful charcuterie board with a big variety of snacks to pair with the wines. The terrace views are spectacular. I highly recommend and can't wait to return :)

Yelp
Feels like home. When looking up for a winery to check out on Yelp, you get a lot that pops up! So how do you choose, really? Ratings, reviews, etc. when I checked their website, it was the year that got me. Wondering this place has been operating for years, but only now they opened theirs doors? So yes I booked it! This place is by appointment only, but you'll not be disappointed. This place is serene! We even seen hummingbirds flying in a nearby tree. Andrew welcomed us with open arms. This is a family owned business. And the roots here goes deeper than just the vineyards, run through generations. From the first glass to our last, it was filled with love, history, and laughters. Andrew made extra personable. He spoke passionately and proud of the family he worked for as if it was his own. The history here goes deeper than the roots grown here. My husband and i only drinks red wine, but after the tour we brought home 2 white wine. Thank you Andrew and the Sangiacomo family for welcoming us to your home! The wine is as rich as the the families history!

Yelp
Hidden off the road, this gem has a beautiful tasting area, delicious wines and great hosts. Kara, our guide, shared with us Sangiacomo's grapes are in many of the big label Napa and Sonoma wines you will recognize (they have a wall of fame in the entryway). They have also been bottling their own Rosé, chardonnay, pinot noir and Cabernet Sauvignon in recent years which is delicious. The tasting patio is spacious and good for large groups and the views are amazing. They host sunset on the terrace on Fridays, and offer food with pairings upon request. We'll be bringing friends back!

Karen L.

Yelp
What a great tasting experience overlooking the vineyards at Sangiacomo Family Wines. This place is a gem and a tasting room worth visiting. The wines were exceptional and the staff was amazing. My husband and I were warmly greeted and given a tour of their new facility and the Home Ranch vineyard. I would definitely go back and try the cheese & charcuterie picnic board with the wines.

Yelp
Andy was the most amazing host for our recent sunset experience at San Giacomo. Friendly, informative, attentive. Be sure to ask for him if planning a visit. Beautiful winery with large patio overlooking the vineyards. Just gorgeous. Absolutely recommend!!

Ryan G.

Yelp
First off, allow me to state I work in the wine business. So I have a high standard when it comes to hospitality. My wife and I came for the sunset on the terrace. Wines by the glass and bottle, plus cheese and charcuterie boxes available for purchase. We were absolutely blown away by the whole experience. The wine was top notch, the vibe was relaxed and quintessential wine country, and the staff (Meghan and Andrew) were phenomenal. One of my new favorite wineries in Northern California!

Jazmin R.

Yelp
Came to visit during a girls trip visiting many wineries. Sangiacomo was my favorite winery to visit. Andrew Greeted us at the door, very warm and inviting personality. Andrew showed us around the vineyards, educated us on the family history, and provided the education behind the wine making process from picking, the different types of grapes, and the process of harvesting During the visit we were able to walk around the vineyards, try the grapes and the different stages. Andrew offered to take pictures and provided personal experience that no other winery provided. He conversed with us, joked around, to where we felt like we knew him for years.

Yelp
Wine tasting on the beautiful patio in the vineyards...it doesn't get any better than this!! Gorgeous setting, exceptional staff and fantastic wines, all in our lovely Sonoma Valley, are what you will find at this premier winery. This should definitely be your first stop on your tasting tour. It is the best expression of California wine and you will be a devoted Sangiacomo customer after just one sip.

John S.

Yelp
My wife and I really enjoyed the entire tasting experience. Our hostess, Kristin did a fantastic job of informing us about their wine, vineyards and the family/company history. beautiful inside and outside tasting areas right in the middle of their vineyard. I would highly recommend!

Rosio D.

Yelp
Sangiacomo even though relatively new, is a great place to stop by. You can enjoy great wine and great views!

April L.

Yelp
Amazing visit, everything we tasted was outstanding frim the Rose to the ViaMaria pinot! Kara and Andrew are so passionate about the wines, the vineyards, as well as the industry. One of our new favorites!

Ally R.

Yelp
Went with a group of girlfriends and had a wonderful time. Kara and Kristen were great hosts with lots of energy. It felt very personal and was one of the best tastings I've been to. The wine was delicious and each one had a unique story.

Brigette F.

Yelp
Everything was fantastic I highly recommend what a fabulous experience truly one of a kind!

Mark C.

Yelp
If you want great wine try Sangiacomo Family Wines. The wine has a hint of chocolate with an earthly undertone. Dark, rich velvety red color. Firm tannins. Drink but better in 5-10 years!

Jessica P.

Yelp
I love this place!!Andrew was super informative and friendly. He made it a wonderful wine tasting experience. The wine is so smooth! The ambiance is very relaxing and homey. The view is great!! Will definitely be back.

Chris P.
