Yelp
Wow!
I don't know what I need to say about the beautiful tasting room, not just a typical one in Sonoma Square, but a spacious, airy, down the road from downtown Sonoma, with vineyards view, breezy, outdoor, so you feel safe during this unprecedented time...
Tables are more than 12 ft apart outdoor! Safety first to all guests, and we are greatly appreciated.
I got no idea that they were 1 of the oldest/largest grapes growers in the wine country, in fact when you first walk in. The wall of fame, has easily about 100 of wines/labels that they sell grapes too... that's amazing! Finally the Sangiacomo decided to make their own wines!
Then opened this tasting room during the pandemic which not many people know of yet... possibly till now because of my big mouth :) or my yelping out loud!
I was stunted to get a reservation the same week to get in!
Now! Listen entitlement Yelper you, yes you! DO NOT SHOW UP WITHOUT a reservation and give them a bad review, so not fair!
Yo, so many people traveling to the wine country like us, staycation because we were so sick at home! Our traveling bug got us locked down... We haven't visited Sonoma for over 2 years!
Restaurants we couldn't get in, hotel was $500 only + tax + resort fee too $600 still $400 cheaper than Napa!
Just to show you how CRAY it gets here! The pandemic make travelers mad... and some got rude, high expectations and whack AF! Let's NOT be that person.... Be reasonable, be polite, be respectful and plan ahead for a good old time... ask them about their FRIDAY SUNSET tasting... oh lovers, can you hear me roaring??? A perfect proposal spot... shewewt don't tell anyone :-)
With that said, Sangiacomo Wine Tasting Room
was unbelievable to us. Mr. Andrew Smith, cute, and was so gracious, so accommodating, so knowledgeable, so kind... I set my expectations so low... and we were so incredibly gracious for the vineyard tour; the wine was tasty! Chardonnay and Pinot Noir was what they are known for... but you got to try the Cabernet Sauvignon, where my Yelp guys at? At a person who is in the trade, by studying wine and appreciation for the craft... It was bomb good!
Ladies! Forget about the cougar juice, we are too young for that.... You will be in love with their Chardonnay... might be over your everyday budget but hey, if anything the pandemic teaches me, it's that you gotta live life a little! Treat yourself... Reward your life with finer things in life m.. and that, my dear yelpers... Including food and wine along the way...
Let my photos show you the way... because my broken English can't describe my experience here... Make a reservation for yourself and you thank me later!
Can't wait to come back... Skip the hubby.. I bring my ladies crew'
