Sangsaka Restaurant

A true foodie experience! I loved everything about Sangsaka. We had the tasting menu with the paired wine and it was fantastic. Every dish offered subtle flavours which were truly unique to the Balinese influence. Everything was impressive… and one thing that really stood out was that even the larger dishes were creative (in many tasting menus, the chefs seem to get lazy… not here). A Bali foodie must do!

Came here sort of on a whim after reading reviews and was super happy. Really spectacular Indonesian food with styles from across the country. Highly recommend dinner here with the incredible service. Very nice atmosphere inside. After dinner you can head upstairs to a rooftop bar via a closed door in the back. The night we went was very quiet. Give this place a try, it's excellent.

The most amazing food we’ve ever tried! Have eaten in a lot of nice restaurants and this tops them all off. The taste of each dish blows your mind! You HAVE to go here whilst in Bali.

Excellent food, presentation and great taste and freshness. Prompt service and staff took time to explain the food and ingredients. Definitely will come back again. From appetizers to main course to dessert to cocktails, kudos and job well done to the chefs and service staffs. Thank you for the memorable bday celebration.

Interesting fusion food - Indonesian flavours, served in a modernised way. Started with really good beef tongue starter. Paired really well with the additional dipping sambal. Mains were decent. Fish collar was rich, flavourful and tender… rich Indonesian sauce seemed redundant. The other grouper dish was not bad, ruined by the poorly prepped fish fillet - full of tiny bones! Duck curry served in inconsistent doneness - some were perfect, some were chewed curry sauce a tad overly salty. Fried rice was the only flawless dish, along with the sambal. Friendly and prompt service, perfect date night vibe ambient.

oh my this place blew my tastebuds away 🥹 every dish was just a pleasant explosion and adventure of flavours. especially ideal for this who love peanuts and sambal. the way they paired textures and flavours was so beautiful. presentation and portion prices were on point as well. SO GOOD.

Great Indonesian Fusion restaurant in Semyniak. We enjoyed 2 entrees and 2 main dishes to share and a red wine carafe. It was great portions. Our favourite dish by far was their perfectly cooked ribeye. Nice night atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and kind.

Pretty good meal at Sangsaka for modern indonesian cuisine. I loved the innovative take on traditional flavors and felt that across the board, the flavors were quite outstanding. The pearl crudo had good acidity and kick to start the meal, followed by the crab crumpet that had a nice fluffy texture & sweet crabmeat. My favorite being the Ox Tongue, the rice pancake that resembled a tortilla in so many ways had such a really amazing texture; pliable yet slightly fluffy & crisp at the same time. The Lobster Raviolo had great texture in the filling and great seafood flavor from the Laksa broth. Probably just the one dish that I don’t love as much would be the Octopus. Partly I was almost full by then, I did find the texture of the Octopus a bit too mushy and not with the slight bounce that I was looking for. The accompaniments while tasty on their own, felt on the heavier side. Overall I would still definitely recommend anyone to come to Sangsaka as the food is for sure of high quality. Come as a group and you’ll be able to try way more dishes which would make for better experience!
