Sankranti Indian Kitchen

I had the Paneer Biryani bowl with shredded carrots, diced onions and shredded red cabbage. I added hot, yogurt and mint sauces. I also had a Veggie Samosa (they’re a must have🫶🏾). The samosa had great flavor and was perfectly cooked. The paneer and biryani were also perfectly cooked and seasoned and my choice of sauces were a perfect combination enhancing the flavors of my bowl. The person who served me was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this when you’re in the mood for flavorful “Chipotle” style Indian food.

Did a pickup order. I tried the curry bowl with mixed greens and samosa chat. The bowl quantity was less and the mixed greens was just some spinach leaves which I had no idea since they didn’t have any proper description in the menu and no one would pick up the phone when I tried calling a few times. The samosa chat was very dry and bland. Could have been better.

I've eaten at this restaurant TONS of times prior to this review. I was there the day it opened and went back several times afterwards. My go to meal used to be their chicken kurma curry bowl with 2 samosa's and a rose milk beverage and only 1 time did I get it and it wasn't on point. I am sad to report that after a recent visit, only 1 of these options are still available per the employee's. That would be the samosa's. Due to this, I decided to try the boneless chicken biryani with 2 samosa's. It was ok. Very spicy so I don't recommend it to someone who can't take some heat but the rice was dry and made it a bit difficult to eat. It comes with a yogurt sauce that can dampen the heat a bit but I still recommend being careful if you can't handle spicy food. They use a separate rice specifically for this dish different from what I used to get with my chicken kurma. The samosa's are still as good as I remember so that's a thumbs up. As basically a Chipotle for Indian food, it's still a pretty good restaurant with a variety of options for many different eaters. Just wish I still had access to the meal and beverages I used to enjoy. Stop by and give these folks a try if Indian cuisine is up your alley. It likely won't be as good as a sit down and dine restaurant but perfect for a quick grab and go.

Decent for a quick office lunch, but not ideal for Indian food enthusiasts. I came in craving flavorful, spicy Indian food, but left underwhelmed. The menu was limited, with some items unavailable, and the ordering process—though Chipotle-style—felt more confusing than it should’ve been. Staff were kind but didn’t clearly explain the options. As a vegetarian, I was initially told there were only two choices, which turned out to be inaccurate. I wanted a simple meal of curries with naan, but ended up with mostly a heap of rice with a hodge podge of various items. No chutneys or hot sauces to customize spice level—just some jalapeños after asking. A letdown if you're looking for bold, authentic flavors.

Beware of this restaurant. Very bad indian food. Ordered for very first time, goat biriyani is like tamrind rice on bottom and few hardly cooked pieces on top and they say this as goat biriyani. I do not know how they justify this as goat biriyani. Atleast tamrind rice have spices, peanuts so on..this one rice just mixed with plain curry, its looks like our school lunchbox and taste is very very bad. They cost this rice as $24, too pricy. I will never try to visit their other branches. Not worth for single penny.

Amazing Indian food!! The ambience is clean and easy on the eyes unlike some of the Indian restaurants! They have options for a salad or rice bowl! I will recommend the spicy chicken it’s yummmmm! I had a the rice bowl, grilled veggies and chicken Kurma with the spicy chicken on the side!! The quantity is a lot, went easy on the rice so it was just right for me They offer Indian beer, lassi, and light deserts too!! I had the mango lassi and it was yummm the cardamom flavor was just right. The hostess is very friendly and makes you feel right at ease! I will be back with the family!

I just ordered to Uber Eats and I got a under cooked chicken piece and the quantity of the food is like they feeding a mice and the naan is Hard like a rock and the tacos smell like raw chicken siting there for week

We tried Sankranti Kitchen today for the first time and were so impressed!! The food was packed with great care, was fresh, and delicious. The chicken tikka wrap was all the best parts of chicken tikka but in an easy to eat wrap, perfect for a meal on the go. I also enjoyed that the curry and rice came in one dish, it made eating it as a meal so much easier. Everyone was friendly and very professional, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Sankranti Kitchen. We will definitely be back to try their other menu items.
