Quality:
From the moment I arrived, the quality of the hotel was evident. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. It truly felt like a home away from home.||Location:
Closed to the ski resort. It was just a short walk from hotel to main street, restaurants, and shopping areas.||Service:
The staff were exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Any request I had was met with a smile and prompt action.||Rooms:
My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Plus, the view from my window was simply stunning!

We've stayed in many nice places around the world, but Sansui exceeded any expectations and is now my favorite place I have ever stayed at. After a long and hectic journey, the airline lost all our baggage. The staff at the hotel was SO helpful in helping us contact not only the airline to reunite us with our bags, but also helped us rearrange some plans since we had none of our gear nor clothing. They also have a complementary shuttle which was a great help to get around town; I'd recommend arranging this with them ahead of time so that they have availability. Breakfast was delicious and we thought it was a wonderful variety. The quality was exceptional and was the perfect start to our days. I'm still dreaming of the croissants, and it puts some famous bakeries from back home to shame. Being next to family chair to ski in and out was very convenient. The spa was also great--we had multiple massages and the therapists were really good, which is often a hit or miss at hotels. They give one complementary private onsen reservation, and you can always book more for a small fee. My one suggestion for the hotel to make it an even better experience is to offer tea in the waiting area after a service is finished. Random thing, as someone who is generally sensitive to smells, I actually just LOVED the scent in the hotel lobby and hallways. :) Overall, our stay was excellent and I certainly hope we can return soon.

Went there for skiing. Before booking it, I was struggling between Sansui and Park Hyatt. And I’m really glad that we picked Sansui. The location is great, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the free shuttle service is simply top-notch in Niseko. Love the design of the hotel, even the scent in common area. Onsen is also great. The only thing we don’t particularly like was the breakfast. For its price level, the breakfast was too simple (plastic coffee machine).

Being able to ski from the hotel straight to the mountain is truly underrated. The in-hotel ski shop has good rental equipment, and lockers if you're staying in the hotel and skiing multiple days. Be aware that they don't have rental goggles or gloves so you'll need your own. They had complementary hot chocolate at the end of the ski day which was a simple but greatly appreciated gesture. The room itself is great. Everything is functional and makes sense, such as heated towel racks. They have fancy toasters and provide you a ton of bottled water. Our mountain-side view was great and we could enjoy it through privacy shades. Being near the top of the of the street it's a longer walk down and up the mountain for outside food. They have an in-hotel sushi omakase restaurant that you'll certainly need to reserve well in advance. It's pricey but delicious, and I generally hate seafood. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and is a great start to the ski day. They have a complementary shuttle between Kutchan station. Talk to the staff to book it.

We stayed here for three nights in June, during the off-season, and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel, which earned a Michelin award in 2024, truly lives up to its reputation. It was quiet and peaceful, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to provide helpful guidance throughout our stay. Our room had a breathtaking view of Mt. Yotei — we loved watching its changing beauty from morning to night, right from our window or while enjoying breakfast. Since it was the low season, breakfast came as a beautifully prepared bento delivered to our room each morning, and every meal was a delightful surprise. The room was incredibly well-equipped: a full kitchen with a dishwasher, which made it easy to cook our own meals when we got tired of eating out. There was even an in-room washer and dryer — a huge plus for long-term travelers in Hokkaido. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the private in-room onsen was a quiet luxury after a day of exploring. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the complimentary snacks, sweets, and drinks. This hotel felt like a true home away from home — we would gladly return anytime.

The Sansui Hotel in Niseko is a profound disappointment that fails to deliver on its 5-star promise at every turn. The hotel's claim to luxury status is nothing short of misleading.||Let's start with the "exclusive" rooms - bizarrely positioned on the first floor facing directly onto the street, completely negating any sense of privacy or exclusivity. The morning peace is shattered daily by an orchestra of disruptions: the incessant elevator bell echoing through the walls and the aggressive sound of snow shoveling starting at 6:45 AM. So much for a relaxing mountain retreat.||The amenities are woefully inadequate for a property claiming 5-star status. Instead of a proper serviced lounge, guests are treated to a basic kiosk shop - a feature more fitting for a roadside motel than a luxury hotel. The so-called spa facilities are equally underwhelming, falling far short of what one expects from a high-end mountain resort.||Adding insult to injury, the hotel's ski rental shop is a major letdown. The equipment provided is clearly well past its prime, showing significant wear and tear. Even their "premium" ski selection appears to be bottom-shelf quality - a particularly egregious oversight for a hotel in a premier ski destination.||The breakfast experience is particularly appalling. The dining room resembles a high school cafeteria rather than a premium hotel restaurant. The food selection is startlingly limited, with portions that feel deliberately rationed. The presentation and variety are more reminiscent of a budget hostel than a luxury hotel.||Overall, the Sansui Hotel operates more like a serviced boarding house than the 5-star establishment it claims to be. The gap between marketing and reality is stark, and the price point is impossible to justify given the subpar experience. For those seeking genuine luxury accommodation in Niseko, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. This property needs a serious reassessment of its star rating and a complete overhaul of its services to meet even basic luxury standards.||Rating: 2/5 - And that's being generous considering the misrepresentation of their service level.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed, especially this is my first time visit Niseko. This hotel is more than deserving of a 1 Michelin Key! While the facilities are great, it’s the exceptional service that truly sets it apart. The staff’s attention to detail, warmth, and genuine hospitality made every moment special. The way they recognize and welcome guests back is a small touch that leaves a lasting impact. You all did an amazing job, keep up the fantastic work.

A fantastic place for a family getaway, especially with kids under 5! The spacious playroom was spotless, and housekeeping did an incredible job maintaining the entire hotel cleanliness. Even with minimal use, the playroom felt fresh and dust free. The lobby market was a great convenience, offering delicious Milkobo ice cream, good beverages and a lot of souvenir from local Niseko perfect for a cozy treat during the heavy snow. My son was overjoyed! A heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff, especially the friendly front office team and fo manager for little touch give apple juice to my son, and to the drivers for providing smooth and reliable rides. Truly a memorable stay!
