Google
Today I found an amazing variety of fresh produce — tender winter melons, fuzzy gourds, Middle Eastern zucchini, Indian bitter melon, and adorable baby eggplants. Everything looked super fresh, vibrant, and picked at just the right time. The prices were very fair too (like $2/lb for gourds), and the farmers were incredibly friendly and helpful — some even shared their cooking tips! The vibe is super laid-back and local. There’s a small-town feel to the place, with people chatting, sampling, and really enjoying the morning. There’s also fresh coffee and baked goods nearby if you’re in the mood for a snack. Parking is usually pretty easy too. Whether you’re shopping for the week or just want to stroll and explore, this market is a fantastic way to start your weekend.

Awesome small local market in Santa Clara on Benton. Highly recommended especially during summers. Great produce by friendly sellers, though little expensive than Walmart or other markets. There are samples available so that we can taste the fruits and then choose to buy. Good to hangout around post office fountain where lot of gatherings happen. Live music, hot popcorn, falafel, boba, Indian food and lots of other activities around keeping the environment lively. Plenty of parking available in Franklin Square parking lot. Overall a good place to hangout on Saturday mornings. Plenty of food options in and around Franklin Square too.

Nice place to buy some fresh fruits, veggies and flowers. Flowers were so pretty. Was happy to find an Indian stall which sells fresh homemade food at reasonable prices. Limited number of stalls. One stall had fresh made vegan milk and popsicles.

Google
Really nice little farmer's market with reliably good produce and hot food. I always get the breakfast burrito with chorizo from the Mexican place (I think it's Tustacos from San Jose), as well as really good coffee from Cosmic Coffee. The Beckmann's pie stand is also a must. Live music is often really impressive. Plenty of parking.

Google
They're open! Saturdays. Brisk, but many fresh vegetables, fruits, bakery, foods, coffee & more.

Google
A nice place to visit on weekend morning to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. However, compared to other farmers markets this one has less number of fruits and vegetable stalls. The market has handmade cheese and butter stall, accessories stall, handmade soaps stall as well as few ready to eat stalls serving Indian, Mexican, pita bread and a few more.

Google
I absolute love this small farmers market, coming here every Saturday morning is already a family tradition, fresh produce and live music. Strongly recommended.

Google
Such a cute tiny farmers' market by Franklin Mall. They had everything I needed! Hummus, flowers, peaches, jewelry, coffee, fresh seafood, pastries, almond milk, and of course... affordable Chinese eggplant! Those $3 Momotaro tomatoes were so sweet!! Some special aspects of this farmers' market are these unique booths: kombucha, Thai food, tamales, dumplings, and kettle corn! There's even an Indian food stall that makes the naan right in front of you! Most booths are cash only, but some do take Apple Pay and Venmo nowadays. There's lots of parking in the plaza and there's street parking on Homestead Rd by Toppings Tree too.

Yelp
Love Santa Clara's farmer's market (every Saturday) Cool, relaxed community feel with the University nearby Wonderful locally grown vegetables, good variety of food vendors, a flower vendor and crafts. Not as large as nearby Campbell's Sunday market but less crowded and plenty of parking They also have music and local regular shops and restaurants nearby

Yelp
Small compared to Sunnyvale or Mountain View, but the parking is easy and they have limited selections (again compared to the other farmers markets). Unfortunately, prices are just as high as Mountain View. They have a few prepared foods such as pizza, Chinese dumplings, Mexican food.

Yelp
My family and I frequent several Farmer's Markets during the weekend at home and this was our first time at the Santa Clara Farmer's Market. They have a great selection of food to eat. The fruits and vegetables were fantastic. I wish they were available at home. My daughter, who is attending school in the area, will be going back next week to try what she did not try this weekend. I wish I was going with her. Check it out and leave room for the beignets.

Yelp
Small neighborhood farmers market in Franklin Square. I enjoyed the friendly lively atmosphere despite the smaller market size. There was a good variety of stalls-flowers, fruits, veggies, baked goods, seafood, meats, coffee and many food trucks. Parking was easy in the lot.

Yelp
In town from Colorado and love visiting Farmers Markets. This one did not disappoint. It was great to sample fruits and goat cheese before buying. The vendors were welcoming and ready for conversation. We had naan wraps at the Indian food vendor. I had Vindaloo and hubby and son had tikka masala. Absolutely delicious! We bought strawberries, Valencia oranges and cherry tomatoes, as well as sliced garlic bread. It was a great day at the Market!

Yelp
This is a very small farmer's market. Lots of easy street parking. There are several produce stands, hot food, live music, and a few other vendor stands. Some of the stands let's you try some samples. I was able to get everything I needed and was done browsing the entire market in under fifteen minutes. I was pretty satisfied with most of the selection I got - plums, blueberries, and sweet potatoes, except for the broccoli. They turned out to have gone bad, which was hard to see when picking them under the tent.
google avatar

Payel K.

Yelp
Small but lots of food options and quality produce/fruits. There was a beignet stand called More to Life. What they had was more like a flaky pastry than beignet but it totally blew my mind. Phenomenal.

Yelp
I love to come here most weekends for Saturday lunch. It's a small farmers' market, but has a good variety of food and it's located near some restaurants/cafes. The Indian food stall brings a naan oven, so you must try the chicken tikka masala naan wrap. There is a flower vendor at the end, which sells small, cute, and cheap bouquets. The Chinese food stall is always solid, although the line can get long. I'm not big on drinks, but they have a good selection, such as coffee, kombucha, and pressed apple juice. There are not any tables to sit at, but there are plenty of benches and green areas to relax. I would recommend bringing cash to avoid the card fee and to tip whatever musician is playing there that day.

Yelp
The Santa Clara Farmers Market is my favorite spot on Saturdays. It's lively yet chill, packed with delicious food, cool vendors, and a friendly vibe all around. It really feels like a small community gathering, showcasing some of the best local produce, baked goods, and crafts--especially the bakeries and jewelers. Among the many attractions, the bakeries, (croissants and breakfast burritos) and local jewelers and florists particularly stand out to me. They add a special touch to the market, showcasing the talent and variety available in our area. Definitely a little gem in Santa Clara worth checking out.

Yelp
The Santa Clara farmers' market is just okay. I honestly expected better. I'm glad there are are better markets in the South Bay on Saturdays. Pros: There are a lot of nice areas to sit down near the market The Thai street food vendor! The live music is so nice! Cons: They have one single porta potty for the entire market. The day I went, there were no organic produce vendors Relatively small market lacking vendor variety

Yelp
Support your local community at the grassroots / grass shoots level you shopping the farmers market. So many families are in a particular dire economic situation this pandemic winter. One of the best things you can do to help your neighbors is yo go to your local farmers market. The Santa Clara farmers market is small and quaint. Easy to find parking in the nearby neighborhoods. Signs are up to help people understand what is the best way to protect themselves and their neighbors from COVID-19. Not too crowded too.
google avatar

Yelp
Options available for fresh vegetables and fruit is always excellent. Really enjoy the live music . Excellent service including free samples so if you have never tried it before, give it a try! PS: I love the French bakery items, but they can be on the expensive side.

Yelp
Stumbled across this cute and 'easy to roam around' farmers' market on a Saturday morning. This is the first time I've visited a farmers' market during COVID. There are signs posted along the street informing the public to maintain a safe distance of 6ft from others and to always wear a mask. Many of the street vendors have their own safety signage visible to their patrons and where to line up and make their purchases. When you visit, you'll see a diverse crowd perusing the tents, several families having socially-distant picnics near the fountain area, yoga class on the lawn, and those walking with their dogs. It's a very friendly environment. What stood out at the market was the wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables on display. Some fruit stands sold berry bundles of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries. There were a couple of flower stands that sold bouquets between $10-$16. For those looking to buy meat, honey, nuts, Asian vegetables or fruits, or cheese, they've got it here! Looking to grab a quick bite to eat? There is a bakery/pastry stand, a Vietnamese, Mexican, and Indian food stand, kettle corn stand, and more. Just remember to bring plenty of cash as most places may not take credit card. Street parking is free all around the area and easy to find especially during these times.

Yelp
So many amazing food purveyors, all in one place, especially love the beignets and also love the tortillas of different corn colors!

Yelp
Ngl this is one of the smaller farmers markets in the bay but it's the small town vibes that makes this worthwhile. Now farmers markets are in general harder to rate but let me put it like this. This farmers market is more farmer and more posh than other farmers markets
google avatar

Sandee L.

Yelp
Open during the shelter in place. They even have a booth where they were handing out free masks in Ziploc baggies! This market is small, but what it may slightly lack in quantity, it more than makes up for it with the quality of the vendors! There are so many stalls that are total gems here. Today, we bought fresh black cod fillets from the seafood stall and butter at Spring Hill (I have been trying to find this butter without trekking up to their home base in Petaluma for over two years now.) That totally made my day!* In the past, we've had lots to choose from at the several fresh produce stalls there too. There's also a section of food stalls there to enjoy. This place is definitely worth checking out, and returning to again and again for some exciting finds! ------------------------------------ *You might wonder...just how good could something as simple as butter be to get this chick so excited? Well, let's just say, I went to a 3 Michelin star restaurant and I kept raving about the butter!! (I actually think the butter was THE BEST thing I ate that night). The server told me they got it from Spring Hill, and since then, I have been on the hunt for it.

Yelp
Santa Clara Farmer's market has a nice size and variety with a lot of local farmers and vendors. Everything was garden fresh for produce and the other vendors for food were awesome!

Anhthu L.

Yelp
Cute and cozy farmers market. A really unique stand is the beignets. It is so delicious. I got one of each flavor and all were tasty. I would go to this farmers market just for the beignets.
google avatar

Sunil R.

Yelp
On the smaller side as far as Farmer's Markets go but still great. There was live music when I was there which is always a nice touch. I picked up some pastries from the French Bakery and some veggies as well. Great vibe and it was wonderful to see families and folks just hanging out.
google avatar

Cyndi C.

Yelp
The directions mapping is incorrect by clicking it here. I suggest double checking the address before heading over. Ran out of time after the runaround will have to try going there another time.
google avatar

Yelp
this is one of my favorite farmers markets!! not only is it nearby, but everything is really organized and the prices are reasonable. The people are so friendly and I love the variety of the stalls. We especially love the kombucha and the popcorn!! parking isn't really an issue. We just parked near the USPS. I just wish it was every day!!!

Tarci S.

Yelp
We came 10 minutes before closing and tried the donuts. It was great! They were nice and welcoming. It's a small farmer's market but had good amount of vendors. They had a lot of samples and I specially like that they had live music.

Barbara R.

Yelp
I love coming here for the fresh flowers, organic blueberries and strawberries, and the great, relaxing atmosphere. There are several food vendors, if you come hungry! I also buy honey, bread, and pastries.
google avatar

Franklin M.

Yelp
The market is small but they have some great vendors. There's a variety of high quality products that will make you whip out your wallet wanting to buy everything. It's great that they have a musician playing some tunes while you walk around.
google avatar

Erich L.

Yelp
Smaller farmers market. Plenty of vendors and a few food stands. They have an Indian food stand, Asian Vietnamese, Mexican , Beckmans bakery and a French bakery. I plan on going back and trying more.
google avatar

Nishant M.

Yelp
The best farmers market I have been in the Bay Area. Though the smallest I have been to, it is the happiest and the liveliest. You may be done buying and browsing the market in 15-30mins. I have seen my friends come all the way down from south San Jose to buy fresh fruits and veggies from here. You get live music, cheap food stalls for Indian/ Mediterranean/ Mexican food, fresh produce veggies and fruits. I have also seen fresh flower vendors sometime. There is also a kettle corn vendor. Carry cash as vendors do now accept card and you do not want to go back to the ATM. All the vendors provide fruits to try and you can taste and buy. Checklist 1. Cost - Not so expensive 2. Quality- Great 3. Parking - Free, available at Franklin Square 4. Feeling - Very lively, there is a small park in franklin square, live music. Verdict: Great place to start your Weekend. Buy fresh fruits, get some flowers for the room, eat brunch and enjoy the live music. Great place for kids as well.

Yelp
Simple is best, yea? This farmer's market has all the fruits and veggies you could ever want. Ample selection, really. White peaches, nectarines, pluots, berries, squash, fennel, daikon, tomatoes and more tomatoes.. the list goes on. Meat, eggs, a flower stand, bakery/pastry stand, an extensive bread stand, and a few food truck stands. Not too busy during the summer quarantine months which has been nice, so I always look forward to my Saturday morning farmer's market trip! There is street and lot parking (free)!
google avatar

Damian M.

Yelp
Small, but everything is there. Imagine It Bakery/Cosmic coffee, good cheeses and meats, great greens from a family right at the center and (I cannot remember the name) some of the best Vietnamese food ever. Try the crab roll and spring rolls. L loves the Passionfruit drink but he loves too much boba for my taste, so you can get it without as well.

Andrew A.

Yelp
This farmers market may be tiny, but it has some gems of food vendors. I go every Saturday for some veggie pot stickers from dumpling king. Then maybe some kettle corn, or some thai. And the selection of produce year round has been good, even in the winter months.

Hammer R.

Yelp
Great food, nice live music, and fresh produce. I like a small market and this one was just perfect!
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
Don't let the size of this Farmers' Market fool you! It has everything you need! I love the variety of fruit and vegetables here. I've really explored this market and have achieved something that I never thought I would -- I rarely have to buy produce at the grocery store!! All the produce you need for most meals can be found here along with bread, meat, chips, honey, cheese, and eggs. Since it is a smaller market than most, it feels really feels like you get to know your vendors. It creates a lovely, friendly atmosphere. There are also a good selection of food stalls, if you happen to be hungry after all the fruit samples! There is usually a bakery or two, Kettlecorn, Indian, Vietnamese, and Mexican cuisines.
google avatar

Carolen M.

Yelp
Compared to other Farmer's Markets this one was quite small as in a couple of blocks small. The one highlight of our trip here was of course the pastries at Beckmann's Old World Bakery. They had humongous pastries which included cinnamon rolls, bearclaws, chocolate croissants, etc and all for $3.50. It was such a steal. My boyfriend got the apple walnut raisin streudel and he said it was quite delicious. I just had my mouth wide opened drooling as I cannot eat them anymore. Curse my nutrition/fitness plan. Maybe one day. If we're ever in the area (as it was a little bit of a trek from Fremont) and it's my cheat day, oh heck yes we're stopping by so I can get me some pastries. Otherwise, probably wouldn't go here. There are other farmers markets which have more stalls and more variety.
google avatar

Bronwyn W.

Yelp
This Farmer's market is great if you only want to do a quick veggie and fruit shopping. Parking is fairly easy on the street. There's one booth for everything you might need for your smoothy or salad. There's a meat booth, and the flower place is very popular. No eggs, though. And no beverage or snack stands. Which is great if you're looking for friendly neighborhood shopping.
google avatar

Pratyusha R.

Yelp
Love love love this place. :-):-) It's at a workable distance from my house, so this is kinda part of my Saturday morning routine. It's small. It's definitely not as big as the Campbell or the Mountain View farmers market is you've been there. But, you'd not miss it a lot, because this place has petty much everything one needs from a market. I get my veggies and fruits here for the week. Of course, bread from Beckmann. Sometimes, the curry from the Indian shop or falafel, if I'm ready to laze in and decide not to cook my meal. I've left this part for the end, because it's my FAVORITE! Orange juice - don't miss it here. It's so frigging fresh and delicious.
google avatar

Shong H.

Yelp
Enjoyed walking this farmers market on Saturday mornings. Parking can be found along the streets or in the small adjacent parking lot and were never an issue for us. There are not a lot of vendors at this location. However, they provide a variety of fresh fruits and veggies that you may need, organic and non organics. At one end, they also have food booths that provide meals and bites in case the hunger strikes you. Overall, small but nice farmers market to fulfill my market needs.
google avatar

Stefany V.

Yelp
The closest farmers market to my CA home! The Franklin Square area is a bit sleepy, but it's the perfect setting for a market with the wide street, plentiful seating, and large parking lot. The nearby coffee shop to perk up before browsing is also a nice touch! Good variety of participants, including several food vendors, fruit and veggie farmers, at least one solid dairy, and some specialty gifts- no one really competing with one another! Live music and pet-friendly setting also add to the fun, prices are reasonable and quality is good.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
If you were willing to walk a couple blocks you could always find parking at the Campbell Farmer's Market--but now, playing circle the very large block has become too routine. Santa Clara's farmer's market is much smaller, but you can park easily in the adjacent lot or across the street. There are just enough vendors to provide variety and to make for competitive pricing. And without exception they're a helpful lot, answering questions such as "How do you prepare this?" or "How do you pick a good one?" What I do miss--though not enough to deduct a star--are high profile vendors such as the Manresa Bread Project, Apricot King and Prather Ranch. I'll have to brave the crowds in Campbell for those one Sunday. But for now I'll attend the other farmer's market, the one still very pleasantly under the radar.
google avatar

Bjorn R.

Yelp
Gotta support your local Farmer's Market, so I give this place five stars! Always loyal to their customers, support these local farmers and try their samples, and if you really like them, then why not buy right!?!? Great place to hang out and just relax... Indulged on-free samples of their fruits, but I do tend to buy the almonds they sell there!
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
I live in Santa Clara and i always have the opportunity to come to the Santa Clara Farmers Market to pick up my fresh Veggy for dinner. This Farmers Market may be small but huge in relaxing and nice people who attend and sell. You can find everything from Indian, mexican tamalas, honey, clam chowder, kettle corn, the hummis guy, and Orchids. even art work. As you walk down the street you will hear the old school music usually a guy playing the guitar. This place is not commerical at all buy very down home. This place is just right for a nice morning walk !
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
I just happened to run across this farmer's market and I'm a sucker for farmer's markets so of course I had to stop. This one wasn't small but it wasn't huge either but they had a great variety of fresh fruit and vegetable vendors out there as well as bakery and hot food vendors. There were quite a few people here this particular morning and it seems like everyone knows each other here, there was a sense of closeness. I like that Beckmann's was here, they make a great focaccia bread, sticky buns are to die for and almost all of their bread is wonderful. Roil Roti was also there serving up their succulent and juicy rotisserie chicken yummers. Those were two of my favorite vendors that weren't selling veggies or fruits. Overall this is a nice farmer's market and it's worth checking out if you are in the downtown Santa Clara area.
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
This farmers market is tiny (you can walk it in like 3 minutes), BUT I still love it! Great options and atmosphere. Beautiful orchid stand (and they don't die I've had mine for months now!) and the breakfast burritos are delicious.
google avatar

Nohemy C.

Yelp
I've been lucky that I've lived walking distance from here. This market is year round every Saturday and most stands are consistent. My favorites are the food booths (the falafel and burritos), the kettle corn that is addicting, & the flower shops. There is a lady that sells orchids that are GORGEOUS for $5-8 each. There is also a family that sells fresh flowers and bouquets for $4-10. You can always find fresh and local fruits, veggies, honey, breads & more here but don't forget to bring your cash! If it helps, there is a Wells Fargo 1 block away. Also, plenty of parking at Franklin Square or Benton street if you have to drive.
google avatar

Brice H.

Yelp
The only downfall of this farmer's market is that it's not exactly all that big. BUT, what it has is quality! There are several food stands: indian food, falafels, BBQ, clam chowder, etc. and they all smell insanely delicious! Then there is lots of fresh produce, even homemade hummus and pita chips, honey, etc. And to top it off, it's next to a gorgeous park area with a fountain, benches, and has a guy playing acoustic guitar playing everything from James Taylor to Disney classics! Great way to spend an hour or two on a Saturday morning!
google avatar

Anuran C.

Yelp
The best one in the bay area. Lots of vendors, music and great cheap food ( Mediterranean, Indian, Thai etc ). We usually buy fruits and vegetables but also love the flower vendors.

Ash K.

Yelp
Although there are not many stores here, you still get great options, great quality produce, tatses way better than any grocery store. We have bought apples, grapes which tasted like honey or sweet dessert!! There are even food stalls for morning breakfast
google avatar

Sharon Q.

Yelp
Small, in comparison to other places, but they hold some very good vendors. One such vendor is Ruby's Tamales. SO GOOD! Come early coz she runs out fast... Gotta try her Jalapeño Cheese and Pineapple tamales. Yum!
google avatar

Ursula O.

Yelp
This farmers market is my current favorite. I've been to the one in Mountain View, Sunnyvale and Campbell and this one is better than all three in my opinion. The produce is fresh and well priced. I left with a full bag containing organic carrots, beets, kale, strawberries, plums, sweet potatoes and bread for less than $30!!! Will come back here.
