Such a cool spot with amazing beer. My friend and I had a great experience and Andy was a great time! He was attentive, funny, and gave us some good recommendations. Would absolutely recommend Santa Fe Brewing Company and better yet, Andy as your beertender. You’re definitely missing out if you don’t go!

Originally from "Beer City USA" in Michigan, we have experienced the best of the best when it comes to craft beers. As full time retired travelers, we enjoy visiting and sampling beers at local and regional breweries. Our stop yesterday at Santa Fe Brewing Company provided us with tasty beer and great food, too. Our beer choice was the Java Stout, which was a delicious dark - not too light and tasteless and not too dark and heavy. We complimented it with an array of amazing tacos from the Tuesday 10-Taco Special from Fusion Tacos, which is located on the grounds. The ambiance was delightful, the bartender was helpful and attentive, and the overall experience was one that we will again enjoy before we move on from Santa Fe.

Google
It had good brews and a place you could have fun. The IPA’s wasn’t super citrus and were smooth. A shock for them. The ginger mule was very good and seems like it was very strong but smooth. They don’t do food inside but you can get tacos or whatever the food truck has outside. It was worth the stop

Google
What a brewery! Santa Fe Brewing Company at HQ checks off every box you're looking for in a brewery to have a great time. Earlier that day, my wife & I decided to brewery hop throughout Santa Fe. We stopped at a few different breweries, ordered flights, & rated them on Untappd. We knew that Santa Fe Brewing is large in their industry, but we couldn't believe how nice this location is. The exterior out front had plenty of space where you didn't feel overwhelmed with a crowd of people nearby or kids running around. The grounds & tables were kept clean. Inside, they have a large shop with everything brand apparel item you could imagine. The upstairs area seemed nice to have a conversation, but we decided to order from the bar downstairs & sit outside. The bartenders were extremely kind. They were helpful with helping us decide how we would like to build our flight. Their knowledge of each beer on tap was impressive. When we ordered the flight, we were surprised at how affordable it was! With the beer being delicious, the staff being awesome, & the brewery as a whole just knocking it out of the park, I couldn't recommend this location enough!

Google
THE BEST PLACE IN SANTA FE TO HAVE A BEER!!!!! I’ve been coming here for a good while(15+ years), and this is the place to be if you and your family, that’s right I said family, want to just chill and have a beer! The people are amazing, most friendliest staff you will ever encounter, and the prices of beer are extremely great especially if you hit this brewery on pint night where the beer is discounted! We take my daughter here every time we go because of how family orientated this place is! I’ve been to a ton a breweries across the state and this one is hands down the best, not only because of the great tasting beer and the staff, but because of how spacious and how they coordinate events all year round! If you are from out of town, please visit this place and give this place some love!

Google
We stopped there after hitting the Santa Fe Museum Hill for some brews and food. They did not disappoint! Fusion Taco had absolutely the best birrria nachos and the Santa Fhazy IPA was perfect. Nice open room and plenty of outdoor space. We will return! Thanks SFB.

Google
Nice atmosphere for lounging and chatting. Liked the history wall updtairs. Good beers on par with so many other breweries we've been to around the country.

The first time my husband had this beer we were tent camping at a remote park in Texas years ago. It was torrentially pouring and our friend handed him a Java Stout and the morning was saved. He couldn't wait to visit the brewery on our recent family vacation to Santa Fe. To say our visit here was a disappointment would be an understatement and it was all because of the bartender. The grounds are very nice, I liked the outdoor area. However, when we walked inside and my husband ordered, the bartender rolled her eyes at him? She was super rude again when he went back to get a second beer, like he was inconveniencing her. There were people sitting at the bar so I'm guessing she only likes regulars or didn't like that we had brought our kids, who knows. Luckily we had a much better experience at the Brakeroom location!

Yelp
When I used to drink it was a fun place to go to. Beer was always great, all good. Last time I was there was pre-pandemic, so can not speak to how they fare today, my prayer is that they've only gotten better.

Heather R.

Yelp
This is such a local gem! Great outdoor seating area, easy parking, and just an overall great atmosphere. Fusion Tacos is available for food and so delicious. As a family, with a little guy this was perfect for us to have an adult beverage, delicious food and a great outdoor space for him. Only negative was there was quite a few cigarette butts on the ground right outside of high traffic doors. If you're looking for a great place to socialize, eat and relax this is such a wonderful place to go! Beer was super ice cold and smooth too! It's the perfect place when the weather is top notch!

Yelp
Santa Fe Brewing Company has an awesome outdoor and indoor seating. The interior looks very elegant. The bar tender was very funny and outgoing. He recommended for me to try the coffee stout since I like stouts. It was very flavorful and had a kick to it because of the altitude. My nephew had a fruitier beer. All tasted well.

Azure G.

Yelp
What a glorious place!! The outdoor area was beautiful and spacious with plenty of seating and whoever decorated the interior is a goddess. I particularly loved the piano, the big gorgeous tables, and the fact that upstairs was a more intimate setting. Now, ze drinks. Really great selection, affordable, and tasty to boot! I had a pint there then tried a few before deciding on a 6-pack. I'm an IPA gal and these did not disappoint. Finally, service was quick at the bar and everyone was friendly. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Thembi S.

Yelp
This place was delightful! The outside and inside were beautifully done, though we didn't spend time outside since it's December. I was super happy to find SFB does flights and I went about selecting my 5. When all my beers were in place, I dug in! I didn't love all the beers but that's the good thing about flights! My group and I whiled away a bit of time trying beers and enjoying the ambiance. The servers were nice and ordering/tabbing out was easy. Glad I was able to get this visit in during my short time in Santa Fe.

Vlad V.

Yelp
I love a good brewery and Santa Fe Brewing Company Headquarters definitely fits the bill. We showed up late on a Saturday at this large brewery located on the outskirts of town. We parked in their large lot and walked through the large outdoor patio (where there's a taco restaurant) and sat inside at the bar downstairs. Naturally, I went with a flight so I got to try quite a few of their beers and seltzers. They have a nice selection. The bartenders were solid and even hooked us up with a free shot of beer when they closed. It was a lively night as their was a high school prom going on upstairs. Made for some entertainment. I didn't try their food but definitely a cool spot that I'd return to.

M A.

Yelp
Great beer and bar food. Had the Green Chile Burger. Excellent choice. Great place to sit around outside or take in a sporting event on the tvs inside.

l g.

Yelp
Fun and friendly local hang out, but remember the food truck closes early, so don't forget!!!++‍= no Also, make sure to nab a seat inside during March, gets chilly as soon as the sunsets.

Jaime C.

Yelp
Amazing setting and great tasting drinks, All is great until you step into the men's restroom, it smells like a bathroom in India that hasn't been serviced in 30 years. Honestly it made me throw up the only 2 beers I had had. Unfortunately we had to leave shortly after .. only for this reason

Alexis P.

Yelp
Came for a show and was not disappointed. The stage has odd stair placement but creates intimate feel. Would be better to have more seating on the balcony it's not the best use if space. The water station is so brilliant and fun to use.

Abby L.

Yelp
We came here after a local recommended it. We are forever grateful! The location is huge with lots of fun seating and games. Our bartender JD was so helpful and thoughtful -- letting us try some different beers (ciders for me) to see which we most want. They also have a fun gift shop with all kinds of gifts. Some jewelry even recycled from cans!

Andrea B.

Yelp
LOVE this brewery so much. But please put TV's downstairs. I was at Tin Can Alley today for the soccer game and the energy was INTENSE. So much fun. PLEASE!

Sarah O.

Yelp
We drove over 7 hours to visit this place from Chandler, AZ. When my husband went up to the bar to order his flight he was greeted with rudeness from the bald bartender. Not once during our whole visit was this guy ever pleasant in the slightest. Even when we were leaving with all of our merchandise we purchased he couldn't even give us a bag. When they had plenty behind the bar. The other server or waitress or bartender said they had some but this guy refused to give us one. Cool. Definitely not eager to come back and give this place another go when there's so many other places that are somewhat welcoming. They have such a Huge establishment and so much space to find a a place to sit and enjoy your beer. I wish they had some ciders or sours on tap to try. When my husband asked for a cider he told him they didn't have any on draft. The beers were mediocre and the food wasn't anything special. They were out of elote. Maybe since it was a Saturday. Oh well. Thanks for the interesting and not welcoming experience. Maybe should teach your employees a thing or two about working with people. You are there to serve people and should want people wanting to come back and not the opposite of that.

Andrea P.

Yelp
Wonderful place! Beer and music is great and the staff accommodating! Provides a cool venue for all seasons. The large windows are perfect for sunset views and the grass area awesome to enjoy music and people watching!

Darcy S.

Yelp
Was finally back in Santa Fe for a little vacation after having lived there a few years prior. I really love the beer, and the newer space is PHENOMENAL. My spouse and I spent our last night playing trivia with a wonderful quizmaster and delicious beer and food! The taco truck that's there is so good, so affordable, and that staff could not be more friendly! Unfortunately, our good time was somewhat ruined by a large group of staff that were getting absolutely hammered right next to all us folks who were playing trivia. Bartender served them before anyone else and when I let the bartender know they were being overserved the response was literally just, "yeah, they're staff." So...... I hope they had someone to drive them home. This place is a few miles outside of Santa Fe. I cannot believe they'd let their own staff put themselves and others in danger by allowing (and it seems encouraging) their staff to become as drunk as possible. I dunno... I'd really like to go back, but is it worth your life? No.

Taylor O.

Yelp
This place has been completely renovated and looks amazing. Great outdoor space with fire pits and string lights! Plenty of seating inside and outside for larger parties. They also have a food truck stationed outside- I think they have different food trucks come in, so make sure to check out their Instagram for the latest. Their beer is excellent and it's cool to see them making the beer right from the bar. A Santa Fe staple!

Auntie S.

Yelp
Great tour. Very personable staff. "X" was our tour guide and was so awesome!!! We will be back

David K.

Yelp
Went here on 6/29/22. This place is huge. This place is awesome! Permanent food truck. Food was really good. They package everything. Lots of IPAs on tap. They do have a good selection though from light to dark beers. Social Hour, which is a hazy wheat was fantastic! Friendly bartenders. Huge outside area. Cheers!

Monica V.

Yelp
This brewery is very spacious with plenty of seating outside (if you can bear the cold right now), as well as on 2 floors inside. There's a gift shop inside as well as beers for sale to go. If you're hanging out, you'll have to order drinks from the bar downstairs. They offer plenty of beer options as well as wine and cocktails. If you're wanting food as I had hoped for during my visit, Fusion Tacos are typically on site daily, but perhaps not on Sunday's since that's when I visited. That was a disappointment and we didn't get much of an explanation from the bartender. Oh well. Maybe next time!

Steen B.

Yelp
Place is big and looks like they are still expanding, we sat at the bar, tried 2 ipas, it became packed with people so the 2 bartenders were very busy, as for food it's in the permanent food truck outside, had their taco bires they were delicious.

John F.

Yelp
Great beer, and a nice outside location. Wish there was more shade but all that heat makes me thirsty, so I guess I know how to solve that probelm.

L A.

Yelp
Had a fun stop to enjoy the outdoors, beers and the taco truck! Bartender was friendly and so were the patrons.

Scott L.

Yelp
I was very very pleased to see a SFBC cider. And it was fantastic! Perfectly tart and refreshing. Son liked his own refreshing Pepe Loca. Almost was not warm enough for the light Mexican style lager! We really enjoyed the outdoor Adirondack seating, and the friendly professionally attentive Jesse. We'll be back, but suggest owners put a sound system in with some light music? Maybe local folk band?

Sunshine G.

Yelp
Went for trivia night. The food truck out front was delicious. We ordered a flight since we haven't tried the beer before. The bartender asked what we usually like and are our flight around that. Trivia was super fun and would definitely go back again.

Amber F.

Yelp
Love the beers and the different drinks they offer. Love the patio area and the openness of it. We went for live music and the band was great.

Heidi L.

Yelp
Delicious beers and such an awesome environment. The outdoor space is great in the spring and summer, and the fire pit is nice on those cold nights. The bartenders are always so friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite breweries since I've moved out here.

Courtney W.

Yelp
This was a great stop on our girl getaway in Santa Fe! A bit of a drive but with good weather and good friends it's worth it! The inside is huge but the outside seating is where it's at! I'm always partial to flight options and here there were more than enough brews to create a "pick- your- own" situation. Would definitely recommend and the on-side food truck nachos are amazing.

Bernadette H.

Yelp
Went to Santa Fe Brewing for an event at The Bridge. The staff was amazing and the beer was perfect. The event was outside on a great night.

Kathy V.

Yelp
After an early visit to Meow Wolf, we wanted to try some local beers. But many of the breweries and tap rooms don't open until later in the afternoon. But praise be to Santa Fe Brewing *Headquarters*! Santa Fe Brewing has two locations, but this one opens at 11am! Gracias. The space is very large. Open with with lots of seating. A second floor of seating as well! Which is great, until there is only one server managing all tables on all levels, which is what it appeared to be when we were there. I mostly just felt bad for her, but also some waits for ordering or for things to come to the table started to become conspicuous. It is a really cool space, though. I opted for a flight of beers. 5 four ounce pours for $8. A pretty good deal. Unfortunately one of the varieties I wanted to try was seasonal and had run out...and instead of coming to ask me what I wanted to replace it with...the server just made a choice for me and selected whatever was most similar in style to the original selection. Which...isn't a bad line of thought. But it was definitely not what I would have chosen for myself if given the opportunity. That said, I do appreciate the variety of beer styles the offer, including a cider option. As far as food goes, it appears to be made and served from a permanent outdoor food truck sort of thing. We opted to share the chile cheese fries. I think I expected both chili AND chile...and it was ALL green chile. And a LOT of it. Too much of it. And also...where was the cheese?! It didn't look or taste like there was any cheese on these cheese fries! Aside from that, I got two tacos: a chicken and a shrimp. Both were good, but the shrimp was the better of the two in my opinion. I have enough annoyances with our visit, that I would have normally rated this 3-stars. But overall, the visit left such a positive impression on me, that 4-stars is where it stays. Good beer, decent food. Just be prepared for slow-ish service.

Katherine C.

Yelp
Lovely outdoor, shaded courtyard as well as indoor seating; friendly service; good selection of beers; very tasty food!

Rich_kids_of_yelp Z.

Yelp
Love the beer. Worst music I've ever heard in my life though. I know I can leave whenever but please don't play this screamo emo crap. I would have spent more money. We were really looking forward to a fun date afternoon but I gotta be honest, the music ruined it for us and many tables around us. Sorry bros but you gotta play something other than your workout jams on a Saturday afternoon. Managers maybe like the music too, but take note -- you drove away customers. Big time yesterday.

Cindy W.

Yelp
The Ipa was cold and tasty. We ordered salsa, queso, and chips. Pretty darn spicy, but, was perfect to wash down a beer.

Woody F.

Yelp
Not a review of HQ, but of the serious decline in canning of 7K and Happy Campter during the last few months. Goop around top of can -- leaking? glue? Hard to tell. Almost every 12-pak now has liquid can-ring stains inside and out of cardboard. Today, out of 6 can's examined, 2 are stuck together, 1 or 2 were stuck to the cardboard, and 3 have goop around top. They all seem full this time, but that's not always the case -- see picture. I tried to contact the hello@santafebrewery email on 7/27, no response (yet). Called "main" number I found, but no answer and then cut off; called a second number found here on Yelp and left a message. Back in July and still today, I can't get anything but a logo-gold color screen with no words -- https://santafebrewing.com, or https://www.santafebrewing.com or without the "s". Tried in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox with same result. [Later, although Chrome & Firefox still fail, after several minutes, while I wasn't paying attention, Safari managed to run the website; must be very major javascripts running which isn't the best way to do business with the beer-drinking masses.] BTW, these are my main brews, so this is a trying time. But I'm not going to keep paying $15 (on "sale") around Santa Fe with this production quality. Something is seriously wrong.

Penny C.

Yelp
We stopped in after Indian market to have lunch. What a great place! Excellent service, friendly staff. They were happy to accommodate our request to replace the chips that came with our burger with a kale salad. Delicious! I noticed the atmosphere was very family friendly and pet friendly! Dogs are welcome on the outside patio. I will definitely be returning soon!

Amanda V.

Yelp
Yes, to the Santa Fe Nut Brown! Yes, to the Social Hour! And yes to everything in between. Don't let the outside fool you. Get down. There is a beautiful green patio with lots of sitting areas, lawn chairs, and a fire pit. The inside is just as perfect with an industrial modern feel. The inside has patio areas on multilevel floors for spreading out and enjoy you favorite Santa Fe beer. Plus they have a food truck with different choices. The staff is always just incredible. They carry a good selection of brewery gear including lots of New Mexico themed items. Let me just say, I would stop here every time if my husband would let me.

Donna Blue H.

Yelp
Yummy Brown Ale. Wish it came in bottles. Wish I could get it where we live. We'll be back.

Marcia V.

Yelp
Food and beers are what you can find here. There is a lot of seating and space here. Upstairs, downstairs, and when it would be nicer out, I believe there was some patio seating. Plenty of seating=great. However when we were here, they had only one person waiting on the tables=not so great. She did as best she could, but for the size of the facility, it surprising as a guest I had their cider, which was a pretty dry cider, but still preferable over the beers for me. My family shared the Chili Cheese Fries (which was pretty much chili, there was almost no cheese), and I had a few tacos, which were pretty decent.

Mark E.

Yelp
Good beer, many kinds. Rufina location is a modern place and great patio, downtown is in a cool old home with a patio in the backyard

Tina T.

Yelp
Wonderful layout, lots of room to walk around. The bar is large with lots of seating and super nice wait staff. I am not a beer drinker and they were kind enough to let me taste until I found one I liked. We came for the Green Chile Cheeseburger Smack Down and the food was amazing from so many different restaurants. They were hustling in that heat from all the fired up grills with smiles from everybody and making sure everyone had more than healthy share to eat. Thank goodness the weather was not scorching today. Kudos to the organizers for not over selling this event.

Emma H.

Yelp
Nice place. Permanent food truck outside is a nice plus. Dog friendly. Good beer. Not a huge selection on beers to take home that aren't already cold for those travel from afar. Limited sizes available in the gift shop as well. Would return and recommend.

Leslie W.

Yelp
Some of my favorite New Mexico beers come from this brewery. 7k IPA, Happy Camper and Chicken Killer are in the 6 pack rotation in my fridge - ok, Chicken Killer comes in a 4 pack. But you know what I mean. My son and I were heading out of town and stopped here so he could try some of them too. He's from Houston. There's a ton of indoor and outdoor seating, all the breweries beers on tap and of course flights. We had the misfortune of traveling at the beginning of closures for the coronavirus. So finding this place open made us very happy. It was a bit confusing finding the parking lot but once we realized where to turn it really is an easy on and easy off the freeway detour. We had the most engaging waitress. Both had a flight of beers we had not tried. You can see the bottling area from the 1st floor taproom. I had hoped we could see more from the 2nd floor - where seating is more intimate - but you can't see down into the brewery from there. It's a big ol' open space with long tables and big windows. Bring some friends for a few on a nice afternoon. We'll be back...next time when there's no pandemic looming.

Ann l.

Yelp
New outdoor area is awesome. Very people and dog friendly. I was just thinking that Santa Fe needed a place with a chill outdoor space like this. . Now I found it!!

leslie m.

Yelp
We like looking for breweries when we travel and drove to this brewery, not one beer was bad!! We were helped by Steve and he was so informative and helpful, he did not steer us wrong. We got a crowler to take back home with us, I only wished we lived closer so we could frequent this place every week!!

E. L.

Yelp
Great space. It's a place where one can easily hang for a few hours. Dog friendly. Good beer.

Suzanne P.

Yelp
Beware of the hidden patrol car when you're leaving!! So excited to visit Santa Fe Brewery since I love a couple of their beers and wanted to try some that might be only available at the tap room. They were out of several beers we wanted - all the chocolates were gone. How is that possible when you're at the freaking brewery? The outdoor patio area is great. Super big and dog friendly. Indoor was dark and divey feeling. Eww-ish. Bar tender was ok. Pours were around $4-5 and flight was $7.50 for 5, 4oz pours. I wouldn't return. Terribly disappointed.

Paul P.

Yelp
We spent an afternoon at the bar at Santa Fe Brewing Company and Andy was our bar tender. He was awesome, friendly, and ensured we were taken care of the entire time! The food was great as well and there's something for everyone! Andy, thank you for a great afternoon and some great flights!!! Till next time!

Troy L.

Yelp
Looking for something to do on a very hot weekend. Good beer, relaxing environment and lots of space to sit around and taste! And out of the heat! Juice was worth the squeeze to quote the menu.

Colin G.

Yelp
Probably as close to a laid back, chill vibe as you can get in Santa Fe. Inside area has multiple levels and lots of space. Outdoor area is very pleasant. We watched live music and sat on the grass. The beer is what it is. If you've never had it, then don't come thinking that this is the best New Mexico has to offer. But this is a really nice, kid friendly spot right off the interstate.

Debra K.

Yelp
Holy Toledo! This place has quadrupled in size since the last time we visited. No more little quaint tasting room (which had it's appeal, don't get me wrong).... There's a huge metal building (distribution and brewing) along with a cool event center--"The Bridge." We just happened upon their "Oktober Fiesta" on our way home from Taos. We walked in right before the event was to start so we got to see some of the behind the scenes goings on as they set up. We would have loved to have stayed because it looked like a great event. Part of your ticket fee went to a local charity (set up on site) of your choosing. Cool idea. A few food trucks were there. But, back to The Bridge tap room----there were LOTS of beers to experience and some kegs had just been tapped the night before. One was a truly local brew using hops grown just a few miles away. The bartenders were super busy preparing for event but were still willing to chat about the place, the upcoming event, and of course their brews. Other employees were willing to talk about the brew facility, the local hops, and even the pup one had just adopted from the animal shelter charity that was on site for the event!!! Too bad we had a ten hour trip ahead of us! Would have loved to stay and play all day!

Bruce O.

Yelp
Love this Santa Fe brewery. It was built fairly recently in 2018 I believe. It is a very spacious facility. The inside bar is great with both downstairs and upstairs seating. Some of the seating includes nice cushion chairs. There is an upstairs outdoor balcony looking out to a very spacious outdoors courtyard. I only tried the 7K IPA. It was really great! There were numerous other styles of beer they had there on tap - pale ale, brown, stout, and many others. I bought a four pack of the 7K to go. They also have brewery stickers and a fair amount of swag.
