We took the Tamale hands on class and it was wonderful. The instructor was outstanding. The history, the process, every part was perfect. The food we made was amazing. Highly recommend this experience.

We had the best time cooking and spending time learning new dishes at Santa Fe Cooking School. The experience was great from booking to cooking. If you are looking for a fun activity in Santa Fe, this should definitely be on your list!

What a delicious treat to learn from Chef Jeff Drew, former Executive Chef at the Snake River Grill. The class was extraordinary! We took the Southwest Breakfast demonstration class. The instruction was masterful, and the classroom was perfectly appointed and designed - with mirrors and live video to observe the preparation up close. Bravo! It's a must do in SF!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Santa Fe School of Cooking. The hospitality was spot on. Chef Mary did a great job explaining the recipes. We felt fairly confident going into the cooking process. Chef Mary and Chef Noe were very helpful and available for questions as we made our dishes. We are excited to get home and make tamales for our friends and family. An added bonus was Chef Mary sharing her knowledge of food science!

We were so excited and pleased that we signed up for the Tamales Cooking Class! The instructor was awesome as well as the helpful staff. The tamales were excellent and we were all sent home with the recipes. Thank you so much for a great time!

My first time to take a class. Thank you Jeff for telling me about the class, friendly guy. Chef Mary was such fun and informative. It was also nice talking with chef Noe. All the food in the Masa Bonus 111 class was excellent & yummy!!! I took the class by myself & was put with 3 other woman, fun group of woman. Overall, so glad I took the class.

My daughter and I took a class and it was so much fun! We decided we’d definitely do it again and look forward to more classes! Everyone was super-nice & friendly, and the whole experience was amazing! I learned a lot about New Mexico chiles and cuisine. Highly recommend!

My friend and I went to Santa Fe School of Cooking during a girls weekend trip. Mica put on a great cooking demo for a packed house. She was engaging and funny with instruction of the “contemporary Southwest II” which comprised of tortilla soup, flank steak, mojo veggies, and green chile mac & cheese topped off by flan. The food was delicious and overall it was a great way to spend a couple of hours!

Yelp
The School of Cooking focuses on providing interesting and exceptional New Mexican cuisine cooking classes. Over the holidays, we took a traditional Christmas cooking class, featuring pork and vegetarian tamales, chili sauces, biscochitos. The chef instructor, Mica was great-capable, interesting and articulate. She started with a short tutorial on the history, importance and value of corn in Native American diets. Then she provided an expert talk on the significance of chilis in Southwestern foods. There was a compare and contrast of different chilis -- dried and fresh -- green and red -- hot and mild. Most informative. These two talks were well worth the price of admission alone. Chef Mica had funny jokes, interesting, relevant stories and demonstrated with ease how to prepare a traditional meal of tamales with fresh masa. The whole class was in awe of her skill, articulate explanations, ability to provide short, but pertinent answers to each and every question asked. This class was a demonstration (not hands on) and once it was concluded everyone in the class was served the meal. Delicious. ...and it appeared to be so easy. I'm going to find out when I try my own tamales at home. Nicole, the small business, family run owner, talked to the group about all the school had to offer. I found the inside shop especially appealing, with dozens of Southwestern cookbooks and cooking items you won't find anywhere else. This was a well spent morning and will become a must visit next time we are visiting Santa Fe. Bravo Chef!

Yelp
I cannot recommend Nicole and her team highly enough, whether for a class or for a large group buyout for a customized class like we did last month. From start to finish, it was a pleasure and a breeze to work with Nicole. And from start to finish, the class itself was a pleasure and a joy to be involved with. Not only was the instruction during the class top notch and the tips - even for our veteran home cooks - outstanding, but the quality of the meals we made were excellent. We all agreed that we would make any of the items again at home. Nicole also made some great recommendations for food products from the shop for our group, and they were big hits. She is knowledgeable and her instincts are spot on. I highly recommend the Santa Fe School of Cooking.

Yelp
I almost forgot to mention this-Santa Fe cooking school has a WONDERFUL gift shop. They have foods, ingredients and supplies unique to New Mexico. We have been enjoying our tea from them (Desert Mountain) as well as our black clay cooking dish. We are enjoying their wisdom and goods in the PNW!

Yelp
What a great experience! Mary and the rest of the staff were just exceptional. We took the soup class with our group of 4 and several other groups. Got there at 10 and were out around 12:30/1. The other groups were so friendly and it was fun getting to hear where everyone was from and getting to cook together. The food itself was phenomenal, and learning the best way to roast and prep the peppers is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life. We will be returning for another class the next time we come this way.

Yelp
first time at Santa Fe school of cooking. Got a lot of good information about ingredients and cooking techniques. However, I was not a fan of the style of the class. Everybody just sort of mingled around not knowing where they were going or what they were doing and it just seemed a little disorganized to me. I would rather be assigned a task and do it. other than that, no wipes at all. I will say, though I've taken many many cooking classes. All the ones I've been to include a glass of wine once you get to eating. This did not. For what we paid, it seems a little nickel and dime.

Steve O.

Yelp
Excellent instructor showing and explaining how to make authentic New Mexican cuisine. Got to eat the dinner afterwards and it was amazing!!! Well worth the money. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Superb and so much fun to experience. Love their curriculum and want to try to take another class when I'm back in Santa Fe. The Georgia O'Keefe class sparked my interest in her and her work. The Georgia O'Keefe museum and a trip/tour of Ghost Ranch followed. I'm now very intrigued in her life and her work. The cooking class, with the cookbook author who cooked with Ms. O'Keefe, and the class instructor gave us an intimate glance into her daily life. The highlight of my trip.

Yelp
I took my husband and adult daughter to a demonstration class. We aren't from the area. First we were greeted so pleasantly and had a little time to shop. Great local selections. Then taken back to the demo area. The seating was comfortable and we could see everything the chef was doing. The chef we had was so full of local information beyond the cooking. We learned so much about the area. The cooking was easy to figure out and duplicate once we got home. We really enjoyed our time there and the service was absolutely fantastic. I'd highly recommend this and would do it again.

Yelp
Having taken classes since the School was located upstairs on the Plaza, I always learn something new with each session. With two classes in the last two weeks, this continues to be the case. The staff is knowledgeable and the table service is worthy of a five star restaurant. For the price, you receive techniques, recipes and a meal that inspires you to try something new.

Yelp
This is a review for the Dave's Jazz Bistro, produced and hosted by the Cooking School each month. It was a jazz band along with a 3 course meal for $200 each including fees and taxes. I took my wife for her birthday and we were put into a table in the very back, sharing it with a couple very nice ladies. Once the show started I realized I could not see the band, so let the host know. Her comment was "we oversold the show" not "I am sorry." Her solution was to drag the table over so I could see, but that meant the other ladies couldn't see and the servers couldn't pass our table. So I was left feeling bad for our table mates and servers though it wasn't my fault. Eventually the ladies were moved to a bar so they could see and they comped a couple drinks for us. The jazz group was amazing, but the food was cold and mediocre. Worst of all, the servers were only tipped based on the drinks you bought and not the food. That was a big surprise to our server but I made sure to give him an extra big tip. There is a lot of attitude at this place by the owner and her daughter with a very high price for mediocre food. Next time we will try to see the fantastic jazz music at another venue. Very disappointing experience. UPDATE: They have given us a refund for our tickets to the show which is very generous. I really appreciate their responsiveness.

Yelp
Our 2nd of 3 demonstration class days. The school is both fun and informative. Both instructors/chefs have been great and we'll have another different one tomorrow. The owner Nicole is friendly and runs a top notch business! We already plan on returning in the future for more classes.

Yelp
I had an incredibly enjoyable experience at the Contemporary Southwest II demo class! Chef Smith was both entertaining and knowledgeable, making the class engaging from start to finish. We spent the first two hours watching and learning, and the last hour having a delicious meal. The menu for the class was amazing: 1. Smooth and silky tortilla soup 2. Smoked, chile rubbed, and marinated flank steak with cascabel chile steak sauce 3. Mojo marinated vegetables 4. Green chile macaroni and cheese 5. Coconut flan with salted caramel The staff was attentive throughout and the gift shop added a charming touch to the experience. If you're looking for an entertaining and educational culinary adventure, I highly recommend attending one of these demo classes.

William J B.

Yelp
We had a great and exhilarating experience. Here you get more than just a cooking demonstration. You get a wonderful education about the history of the ingredients. Great lunch meal, that awakens your taste buds. Having you wanting more. The safe was amazing and super hospitable. The culinary shop was an add thrill to bring home some of the ingredients we savored. We highly recommend attending one of their classes.

Yelp
Loved the Traditional New Mexican 1 class! The instructor Michelle (aka Mica) was fabulous! The food delicious and the history fascinating.

Yelp
I don't think I've ever written a bad review but I'm extremely disappointed with the SFSC customer service. In 2021, I enthusiastically purchased a beautiful Chambra pan after attending a SFSC class with a large work group. I have cared meticulously for this pot and yet a significant crack appeared. I immediately communicated with SFSC and today, Susie responded with a message saying that they would not offer a refund or replacement. This is very poor customer service. I think a refund or replacement is very reasonable due to the expense of the cookware and it's short life. Therefore, I cannot recommend the school or the items they sell in their store.

Yelp
The Restaurant Walk II sponsored by Santa Fe School of Cooking is a great way to experience fantastic Santa Fe restaurants. My daughter and I went on this tour and LOVED it! Our tour guide, Tom Gallegos, was wonderful. He was so personable, fun and knowledgeable about the restaurants and Santa Fe in general. We started at the Santa Fe School of Cooking and had wonderful enchiladas and a margarita and then proceeded to four other restaurants for amazing food and drinks and to learn about the history of each restaurant. The owner and/or head chefs spoke to the group at each visit which was different than other food tours we've done. We will definitely do this again next time we are in Santa Fe as it was FABULOUS!

Yelp
SW Brunch Demo Class. Parking was easy in their dedicated lot. Check in was easy and smooth. Reserving online was a breeze. You walk into this great shop full of kitchen goodies to check in. They start right on time, so come a few mins early to peruse. We were escorted to this massive room, which must have sat about 60 people. There were only 9 students in our class, so we all got front row seats. I don't think the experience would have been as enjoyable if I was in the back of the room ( even with the multiple video screens). Part of the fun was the interaction with chef Mary. Chef definitely went off recipe, so we were taking a lot of notes! But some groups were really there to socialize and eat. So they cater to all. Wine pairing was excellent. Staff were top notch. Facility was clean. I liked that you had to show proof of vaccination to come in since we had our masks off while eating most of the time.

Yelp
Today my husband, our son, & I took the Red Chile Workshop. Wonderful instructor and great information. I've made red chile for a long time but even I learned a thing or two. Check it out. You're never to old to learn something new!

Yelp
We hosted a corporate event with the Santa Fe School of Cooking for top executives and it was truly WONDERFUL! Our guests had a fantastic time and agreed it was their highlight of the trip!! The chef had the perfect personality for our group and was so thorough, yet concise and made cooking less intimidating for everyone! The food was delicious, your staff were amazing, and the space was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better evening! A great authentic New Mexico experience I would highly recommend!!

Yelp
Took a class today. The recipes were so good (esp the corn and green onion tamales; it was all excellent). The instructors Chefs Allen and Noe were great and taught us several tips including about spices and cooking techniques. I bought their cookbook and some ingredients to take home. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Just completed a 3 hour southwest cooking demonstration and learned quite a bit. Never knew the Santa Fe Chiptole spice was better than others , the vanilla sauce used from the area is much better than the Jamaican vanilla, how to fold a custard and prep time needed, the stew made with beef and other ingredients and searing of the meat before placing in a pot to boil and simmer is critical to hold the protein together... and chef Pat Mares and chef Kyle, were a great team. One focused on bakery and the other the main course. Different skill sets and that was very cool. Small group which allowed more personalized atmosphere. Highly recommend this activity as it is time well spent and you get to enjoy a terrific meal. Next time I will do the chile class. Very easy to see the demo station by the chefs as use of monitors and mirrors enhanced everything. Give it a try as this is one indoor event worth doing. Family has been at this for 30 years so it is a well oiled machine.

Yelp
wonderful food tour of Santa Fe- 4 top restaurants ( Franzo, Horno,Casa Sena, Sazon )- we went back to two for drinks& dinner! also great shop- cooking gear& food& chiles

Yelp
I had the best class in my life there! Excellent food by Chef Frank, Native American history and cuisine overview in a wonderful setting. This demonstration class and lunch experience is not to be missed whether living in Santa Fe or visiting!

Yelp
The SW Brunch cooking class w Chef Michelle Chavez was awesome. Her storytelling really made this a full experience. She's one of a kind. Be prepared to be seated for several hours, so best to come a bit early to get a seat facing the cooking area. Pro Tip: get a seat in the first row so you can see and smell everything during the presentation

Yelp
We attended a cooking class, Traditional New Mexican II. The kitchen/studio was really nice with high-tech features (monitors and wireless mics). The chefs were really great. I learned a lot in a 3-hour class! The staff was super-friendly and helpful... and we had a tasty lunch as well. The store offered so many wonderful things: spices, books, cookware, gifts, etc...

Yelp
During a quick trip to Santa Fe with girlfriends, we thought a cooking class would be fun. Clearly we didn't read the description closely as none of us realized that we registered for a "demonstration only" class! Oh well, since we'd paid in advance, we tried to make the best of it. Seated in front of the demonstration kitchen, we watched as two chefs prepared the major aspects of the meal. Over the course of two hours, we learned tips for making mole, choosing peppers, cooking moist chicken, and listening to various intertwined stories. We sipped on water, tea, and coffee as we anxiously awaited our meal. The last hour was dedicated to eating! Perfectly plated meals were assembled on the counter and brought to our table. We started with a delicious, fresh salad, followed by smoked chicken with mole, arroz verde, and chile glazed carrots. That mole made me a believer! It was rich, smooth, chocolately, and just a little spicy. It was easily the best mole we had in Santa Fe! The only thing better than the chicken was the Mexican chocolate torte with raspberry sauce. While it certainly would've been better to spend a few hours cooking, this was the next best thing. Although it was hard to completely pay attention for two hours of demonstration, in the end, we thought that the $82 was worth it. It was a great experience and a fantastic meal.

Yelp
I'm not much of a cook so wasn't sure I would enjoy a class at the Santa Fe School of Cooking. Attended a demonstration class by Chefs Allen Smith and Noe Cano. We were seated for a few hours in the beautiful studio watching Allen and Noe do their magic. Really beautiful set up with high tech cameras. While cooking, Allen regaled us with funny stories about his family, people with strict dietary fetishes (don't we all know them?) etc. so the class was entertaining as well as informative. We all got to eat the yummy finished product (Southwestern chicken with posole and bread pudding) afterward and there was plenty to go around. Even a novice cook like myself could follow the recipes they gave out as they're clear and well written. I learned a lot and had fun in the process. The studio has a nicely stocked store where one can purchase Southwestern spices and other culinary doodads to take home. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Attended the taste of New Mexico IV course today. Everything was planned to perfection: kind and knowledgeable chefs, delicious and coordinated menus. What a joy!

Mary Ann B.

Yelp
We attended at FANTASTIC class here on Native American cooking. It was a demonstration class led by Lois Ellen Frank and Walter Whitewater. The best part for me was hearing their stories - they have done some really incredible things in their careers, such as working with Native American populations to bring back healthy, traditional cooking back and lowering the rates of diabetes, and being cultural ambassadors for the USA and traveling all over the world to educate other people about American food. Lois in particular is a font of knowledge about the different regions of Native American cuisine and how cuisine evolved after the introduction of Europeans. It was a demonstration class, so food was prepared for us and then we ate. Some minor disappointments in that fussy eaters made them tone down the spice in some recipes - to the point that the prepared a totally different salad dressing that wasn't originally on the menu (we were told we would get spicy jalapeño and instead got something similar to green goddess. Still very tasty, though!). Would definitely come back and learn from these people any time. A major highlight of our trip!
google avatar

Yelp
First visit to Santa Fe and wanted to learn about the food from the area. Well we got that and more! Attended a cooking demonstration, the chef was a great story teller and so knowledgeable, not only about food and preparation but also history of the area and food. We were able to view the chef preparing the meal and follow along with recipe print and take notes. The food was delicious, New Mexico is all about the chili and learning how to make both red and green was a great part of our trip. They have a cute shop with great items to take the flavors home.

Dawn C.

Yelp
This was a hoot. We had a lot of great groups participating in our session and the salsas were fun to make and tasty. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We would definitely do this again.

Yelp
What a fun adventure. It is fast paced with great results. The family worked as a group to turn out 3 different types of tamales and then consumed all of them. One veggie, blue corn chicken in banana leaf and one spicy pork in corn husk. We returned home with the recipes and had a successful party where we recreated our adventure

Yelp
My wife and I took the Tamale Making Class, the Mole Demonstration and the Santa Fe Walking Restaurant/Food Tour. We very much enjoyed all three experiences while expanding our cooking knowledge, learning some Southwestern history and our way around some fine restaurant options in the community. I recommend The Santa Fe School of Cooking! The facility was pleasing and well laid out, with two large mirrors over the stovetop and three video screens. The instructors were full of information, helpful and enthusiastic. We got to eat the fruits of our labor. We found the other participants to be interesting and engaging. A good way to maximize you time in Santa Fe.

Andres D.

Yelp
We did our fourth culinary walking tour today and like the others, it was wonderful! Chef was charming, knowledgeable, great sense of humor. Great choice of restaurants on the tour! Will go again on our next trip to Sant Fe! Ole!

Daniel C.

Yelp
We have enjoyed the school's demonstration cooking classes in the past so, based on their recommendation, signed up for the restaurant tour. It was expensive but hoped it would be worth it. It was not...a waste of time and money. To start, they hyped one restaurant above the others and forget to confirm with the restaurant so had to come up with a backup during the tour. The food at the restaurants was skimpy and generally poorly prepared (two restaurants offered a few ounces of food and another provided highly uncooked lamb). They offered a drink or some wine at each location that was cheep with a very small pour...under an ounce at three locations. The restaurants and the two escorts from the school shared almost no information about the restaurants...like, what they are known for, how they run the back of the house, their history, their style of cooking, and on and on. Basically each restaurant served almost nothing, asked where we were from and if we had any questions...and that was it. The school says you will leave full but you don't. When the premier restaurant canceled (because the schools forgot to confirm with them) La Fonda agreed to take us. We don't love their food and were disappointed in the selection. On the other hand, they provided a great drink, chips, guacamole, queso and salsa and provided an outstanding presentation on the history of the hotel....makes us want to go back there. Anyway, this could have been awesome but the school put in almost no effort that ended up in an expensive and wasted afternoon.

Yelp
Truly one of the best cooking schools I have ever had the pleasure to attend. It is located in one of the best spots in Santa Fe - within walking distance from the main plaza. The architecture of the building and the teaching kitchen layout is amazing and modern - but still retains the Southwest charm of Santa Fe. There are several kinds of classes you can take: hands-on, individual, small groups, large groups, no hands-on (observation only) and private. The chefs that teach at the school are really what make the experience worthwhile. The chefs are SO down-to-earth. I really like this. I am not impressed with the pretentious snooty chef who will make you feel small for asking a question. Thankfully, you will not find that here. Instead, you will find knowledgeable chefs from all over the world, with rich experiences, and fun personalities. The chefs teach you quick tricks and time saving tips. The best chefs are Noe Cano, Lois Ellen Frank (this woman is amazing, she will teach you everything you want to know about the history of the food and the associated traditions) and Alex Hadidi. Try to take classes w/ any one of these chefs and you will not be disappointed. The primary cuisine taught is Southwest New Mexican. If you are not able to eat hot and spicy foods, that is OK, the chefs will adjust the meal for your palate - yes you get to eat the amazing things that the chefs or you and your teams make after the class is over. The school also offers wine pairings, beer options and non-alcoholic drinks to accompany your meal. Most beverages come from New Mexico wineries or breweries. Come on a fairly empty stomach because you want lots of room! Best class times I can recommend for the amateur chef or regular home cook is the classes that start at 10 am and go to about 1 pm. It seems to be just the right amount of time to learn and cook and then eat. Afterwards, you can walk and enjoy downtown Santa Fe on a yummy, full stomach. When you are done, you'll be jazzed to go and try the recipes at home. There is a retail store on site. It is delightful and has everything they use in the classes. Don't worry about having room in your suitcase, they'll ship it for you. Don't leave w/out buying one of the cooking grills for roasting your Hatch Green Chile or the La Chamba ceramic cookware (I recommend a medium sized pot.) What is great about this school is the authenticity. They really don't cut corners (ok I saw they used pre-packaged corn tortillas once. I'll give them a free pass for that) and they use the freshest ingredients from local farmers markets and dairy farms. I cannot attest to their GMO or non-GMO use, but from the way they seem to do things - the food is quite fresh and healthy. Another piece of information is the owners are quite amazing. They visit with the students and really have put their heart and soul into making this school one of the finest in the USA. iBuen provecho!

Yelp
Such a great way to spend Christmas Eve! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sante Fe

Yelp
My husband and I took Mika's Southwest Appetizer class yesterday! What a wonderful three hours learning so many great tips! The food was delicious and easy to make! We can't wait to make the appetizers for our family this week! Grilled Shrimp and bacon skewers with veggies; bite size chicken tacos resting in sliced wedge limes; duck confit in phyllo baked cups; Brie and mango quesadillas; and chilled avocado soup!! The sauces and extra special touches were amazing! And churros for desert!! Amazing! We will go back again and again! Inspiring!

Yelp
Rocky & Rachel & Noe and the rest of the staff: What a team! Rocky is a born showman, although he claims to be shy in off hours, and he's a dedicated New Mexican, who knows his state history as well as he knows his kitchen and his food. We went in expecting, you know, a cooking class. We got a show, had a GREAT lunch (see below), learned a bunch of new stuff about both New Mexico and cooking, bought some stuff (get a Santa Fe grill!) in the store, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We'll keep coming back in the future. We attended a class called Traditional New Mexican II (referred to as Trad2), where Rocky and Noe prepared what ended up as our lunch: Carne Adovada, Chile Rellenos, Frijoles Refrites (beans), Calabacitas (squash), and Sopaipillas. Every item was amazing and true to what was promised. I'm kind of a nut about sopaipilas and these were light and fluffy and came with honey mixed with nutmeg and vanilla. I'm looking forward to Trad1 and Trad3 in the future!

Yelp
We signed up for the relleno class and it was taught by a new instructor. The facility and ambience were wonderful and everyone was warm and welcoming. Their downfall was the organization of the class and printed recipes. We were assigned a group but never actually got to cook what we thought we would. A number of times, participants asked questions because there was so much variation from the recipe, and they were answered promptly and knowledgeably. However, you could feel the frustration of some people, including me. I don't think I'll ever make these recipes again, but did gain some good info on chili's. The food was good, but we were surprised that they charged for wine ($9) and beer($5). In other classes we've taken, a glass or two is included. Was the class worth the price and time? Not for us.

Janet R.

Yelp
Went here to shop for cooking gifts. Darling little shop with unique gifts from the area. Wish I could have stayed for a class!!

Yelp
We took the traditional demo course with chef Michelle Chavez. The course was very interesting blending history and cooking technique. The food was amazing! Every bite was so delicious and from the step by step instructions and tips, we feel like we can replicate a version at home. (Ok, not as good a version but a version.) If we were in Santa Fe another day, we would have gone back for another course. Every aspect of the course was wonderful!

Martha L.

Yelp
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS COOKING SCHOOL!!! My husband and I have taken several classes and have attended their Boot Camp. It is well worth the money and the Demo classes are a lot of fun as well. The food is Fantastic and we always learn something new each time we go. Love the energy and stories that Chef Allen shares with all of us. Always enjoy seeing him and his assistant Noe Cano. They make a Great team. Never a dull moment and we have had the pleasure to sit next to locals or people from out of town who enjoy good food, a Great Demo and good time at the School.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed the Southwest Party Foods demo class. The instructor, Michelle, was knowledgeable and witty...we were in good hands! Delicious food, good tips, and very nice staff. The gift shop is pretty special too. Things to note: not all classes are hands on, some are just demos, they do offer beer and wine by the glass with your meal at a reasonable charge, you don't eat until the last hour or so of the class (I didn't eat breakfast thinking I would be going to the 10am class and eating throughout the course.) I highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Santa Fe...not just food geeks like me! Everyone should find enjoyment here.

Yelp
I had fun AND learned some things during our Traditional New Mexican II cooking class recently. Chef/Instructor Michelle Chavez was terrific and the accompanying lunch was as well. Will return for more classes and to peruse the shop for more supplies and gifts.

Yelp
My husband and I attended 10:00 am class for SW Appetizers on Saturday, 10/19/2019. Our instructor/chef Michelle Chavez was great; professional, knowledgeable, entertaining and most importantly able to relate to us and to teach. The class is well worth the money and time and when we visit again I would love to take another class. My husband's favorite was avocado soup and mine were churos. Good times!

Yelp
Can't say enough wonderful things about this cooking school! I have made it a point any time I come to Santa Fe To take a class here. Each one has been fantastic! This time I took a tacos class with Michelle. I enjoyed her short lecture about the history of Mexican food and really enjoyed her explanation of what we are going to be cooking. We were paired together and cooked together and ate together. Can't say enough good things about Santa Fe cooking school!

Yelp
3rd trip to Santa Fe, & 3rd cooking class. Love to get the recipes, take notes, & try them at home. Always one of best meals of the vacation. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Nice new facility. Fun to shop after class.
