Santa Maria Paddington

Lovely pizza, well made and a good size. Decent amount of toppings and a nice thin base. Loved the truffle dipping sauce as well. Fair prices and very friendly and quick service.

Santa Maria in Ealing is my usual haunt but I was nearby so had to try the new place. Superb! Just as delicious! So if you're heading through on Elizabeth line it's a short walk from the station for proper pizza.

Absolutely amazing! Santamaria Pizzeria doesn’t just serve pizza—they serve a full-blown Neapolitan experience. The crust? A perfect balance. The sauce? So good I considered drinking it. And the toppings? Let’s just say if I could legally marry a pizza, this would be ‘The One.’ If Naples and a pizza oven had a baby, this would be it. Highly recommend—unless you’re on a diet, in which case, I suggest breaking it immediately. 10/10, will dream about this pizza forever!

This was the soft launch of the Santa Maria pizzeria, a legend that opened 15 years ago in South Ealing, where the best pizza in London was created in a very small space. Time out, which was still a very authoritative and reliable magazine, voted it the best pizza in London and I almost immediately went there, and became addicted ! It was, and still is, the best, and I became a very regular customer, going every week. They then opened a branch in Chelsea/ Fulham border, then another in Oxford street, and now in Kew Gardens and in the latest place, in Paddington at what was previously the Frontline club. Angelo and Pasquale, the original founding fathers, are still there, managing a team of happy people, with the pizzas coming out that are as outstanding as ever! We had some olives, a parmigiana that was the best I have ever had in Uk, the San Gennaro ( salsiccia and friarielli with smoked cheese) a napoletana ( capers olives anchovies on red tomato base without mozzarella ) and the prosciutto e funghi . We also had 2 tiramisu and 1 pan di stelle dessert, a new one that I had not tasted before ! It was divine! As divine as the tiramisu ! We finished with a limoncello which was delicious, like it was homemade from your grandmother. I cannot recommend this enough ! If I was a Michelin star guide I would say this is worth a trip, a deviation , a journey! This pizza is unforgettable ! Go!

The food was so good, definitely get the Aubergine Parmesan so delicious!

Opening night yesterday! Great fun! Food was outstanding especially the regular margherita pizza and the parmigiana, both are a must to try if you are in the area! Team very friendly and super attentive! Well done Santa Maria!

We just stopped by as we were passing, but had an amazing bruschetta, salad and pizza. Would definitely stop by again. Thanks to the friendly team, best of luck with the new restaurant!
