A newer Saturday market hosted at a local cidery, spotlighting Santa Clara River Valley produce and small-batch foods. Verified by the Heritage Valley Tourism Bureau and city announcements, it’s a low-key scene with strong community momentum.

This local farmers market is delightful and has become a weekly tradition for our family. Get lovely fresh baked goods, pasta, flowers, and 805 pies. We love the honey and all the local produce!

Really nice market! Live music! Good vendors from low to high-ends art and crafts! Bring the whole family. Good place to shop for the holidays.

Yelp
Sadly this farmers market does not seem to exist anymore. We drove up to Santa Paula on Saturday morning to shop the farmers market but we couldn't find it at any of the addresses posted here or online (and it's not a very big town.) When we asked around we were told it hadn't really "taken off" so it just folded. Downtown Santa Paula is charming however!

Yelp
I've been playing live music there for a while. It has a great atmosphere, and lots of great food as well as being connected Anna's Cider. It's not far from Ventura. Just zip down the freeway and check it out.

Yelp
We checked Facebook and yelp and read it opened at 10 on Saturday. Big disappointment when we got there and found an empty parking lot. It can't be that hard to update Facebook

Yelp
Friday evening, in the midst of our historic town: this little gem of local merchants, crafters, a rock band playing live music. Two teens were holding hands and strolling there- here were some folks in wheelchairs and canes, spending some time browsing. When I walked through to admire the woven rugs and grab a juice, I saw one or two folks with backpacks or satchels suggesting they were on the road: a spot for them to just relax and be part of the group: welcome! Only there were less than 15 people here. I'd like to encourage any of the city fathers/mothers/leaders to appear weekly at this event. It's a missed opportunity. Ditto for my acquaintances that bemoan the lack of activity in town. It's laid back and the goodies for sale are one of a kind. Come on out to Santa Paula- Friday's 4-7 pm.

Yelp
You expect fresh and carefully raised produce, fruit and other products at a Certified Farmers Market. That's exactly what you get from multiple vendors at the new Certified Farmers Market in Santa Paula, California held each Friday from 3-7 pm in front of the old train depot on Santa Barbara Street near 10th Street. In full disclosure I am on the board of the Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce that helped bring such a market back to Santa Paula. I would not write this Five-Star review if I was not proud of the effort, the vendors who are supporting it, and our locals and visitors who are now regularly buying here. I am now reserving part of my weekly shopping list to spend a fun afternoon seeing, sampling, and buying what's new, delicious, and fresh. There are vendors with original gifts, and even one local vendor, Red Hot Foods, who offer hot chili products, tasty and spicy jellies, and more. Today I bought a remarkably tasty jalapeño pepper jelly from them. At another bought a collectors item quality kitchen towel dispenser as a gift for a relative. If you shop Farmers Markets in Ventura County and surrounding areas, you really should try this new one in Santa Paula!
