Yelp
You expect fresh and carefully raised produce, fruit and other products at a Certified Farmers Market. That's exactly what you get from multiple vendors at the new Certified Farmers Market in Santa Paula, California held each Friday from 3-7 pm in front of the old train depot on Santa Barbara Street near 10th Street. In full disclosure I am on the board of the Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce that helped bring such a market back to Santa Paula. I would not write this Five-Star review if I was not proud of the effort, the vendors who are supporting it, and our locals and visitors who are now regularly buying here. I am now reserving part of my weekly shopping list to spend a fun afternoon seeing, sampling, and buying what's new, delicious, and fresh. There are vendors with original gifts, and even one local vendor, Red Hot Foods, who offer hot chili products, tasty and spicy jellies, and more. Today I bought a remarkably tasty jalapeño pepper jelly from them. At another bought a collectors item quality kitchen towel dispenser as a gift for a relative. If you shop Farmers Markets in Ventura County and surrounding areas, you really should try this new one in Santa Paula!
