The best bread and veggies. I was reluctant to pay $1 for corn knowing it's only .17 cents at the market. I bought 4. I don't regret it one bit. It was bigger and the best flavor. I bought olive leaf bread $16. I was debating if I could enjoy $16 worth. My niece came over and it was worth every penny.

Been to different farmer market but Love Love Santa Teresa Farmers's Market. It has great vendors with great produce and reasonable prices: from the sweetest organic strawberries, good varieties of vegetables (including some Asian vegetables ) and yummy fruits , popcorn, eggs, bread, fish, plants, succulents, cooked Thai food, ...Not all vendors are there every week though. This farmer's market is located in Kaiser Hospital so it was closed for a few years during covid. I was so sad and finally it opened again in summer 2023. Vendors and customers were so happy to find each other again like meeting old friends. It was a great reunion. I try to go and support farmers whenever I can. Highly recommend.

Google
I’ve been to a lot of different farmers markets: campbell, mountain view, palo alto…but I’m so happy with this one in my backyard. It is smaller in size but offers enough variety for my needs: all the produce are fresh and high quality. I especially like the fruit stand at the end, everything I’ve bought is very sweet and flavorful, and they are always generous with their samples. There are multiple stands with seasonal Asian vegetables. I was very happy to find different types of gourds, including the white butter melon, which is so much rarer than the green kind! My other favorite is the Littke Sky Bakery stand. The staff is friendly and everything is delicious: the nutella challah is decadent. the empanada is larger than my face and stuff with cheese and veggie, it took my husband and I 2 meals to finish it. I’m always happy to go there on the weekends and implement whatever I cannot grow in my own garden. I use these purchases for a big fresh brunch and throughout the week.

Google
Zero Organic vendors. There used to be an amazing berry vendor, but no more. This is a small fraction of what the market used to be when it was near Kaiser. Waste of time. Only about 20 vendors total.

Google
Worth the visit. Delicious produce and a fabulous selection of bread, fish, honey, eggs and soaps. Freshly cooked kabobs can also be purchased.

Google
Great produce and wonderful variety! Easy parking- why hassle other markets. Busy but not over crowded- great artisanal products too- jams, beautiful breads, pasta etc❣️

Mette Attar

Google
Great local and seasonal produce. They also have food stalls and stalls for local honey, jams and baked goods. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Google
A lovely neighborhood market. The farmers that come here are very nice and super friendly, prices are reasonable and the quality is far better than any local supermarket. The only reason I don't give this 5 starts is that usually the selection of produce is less of other markets around, but that's just me being picky

Yelp
Parking: plentiful Pets and smoking: prohibited Selection: unfortunately the opposite of the parking. There were a few vegetable/fruit stands, two or three stalls selling baked goods, and some random food stands. We didn't want to leave without getting anything so we tried some roti from the Thai stand right by the entrance ($3). It was pretty bad, would not recommend. Overall pretty disappointing and we're planning to go to other farmer's markets to see if there is something better out there

Yelp
Great vendors, good prices, very fresh produce. I wish they were there more than once a week

Yelp
I'm so happy our farmers market is back in the Kaiser parking lot for the first time since the pandemic began! This is definitely a smaller market - but offers all the key essentials and is walking distance for me. It has all the farmers market vibes and offers live music. They have various vendors - fruit, veggies, seafood, fresh pasta, hummus & dips, AMAZING cookies (bon bons du soleil), honey, kombucha, kettle corn, baked goods, coffee, and have a few varying food truck vendors. All the vendors are super nice and ready to help!

Yelp
This farmers market was one of my favorites to go to for such a long time. I remember coming here back in high school with my parents and taste testing all of the fresh fruit samples and hummus, it was great! They really, really downgraded though. It's super small with a max of like ~10 stands. I still appreciate the fresh vegetables and fruits, though. I also bought some cookies which were devoured throughout the weekend (butter cookies.. they were lovely with fresh coffee!) Maybe the Saturday I went to was just a one time thing, with only a few stands. I'll come back some other time to check it out and buy those gosh darn cookies again.

Yelp
Way expensive .3 times more prices for few things if you compare with Cupertino farmers market

Yelp
It's located in the Kaiser lot right next to the library, so I've stopped by a few times when my books happen to be due on a Saturday. It's pretty small... only 2 short rows of vendors. Prices are pretty standard for Farmers Markets -- most produce items are $2-3/lb. Most of the vendors actually sell produce -- unlike some others that are half filled with hot foods. Most stands also have samples of the fruit they're selling. I bought 3 cartons of blackberries for $5 the first time, but the last time I went they were selling it for $7. Probably because the first time I went, it was closer to closing time. The fruit stand at the end by the clam chowder guy probably has the cheapest plums, nectarines, and peaches at $1.50/lb. The Thai place there was completely disappointing. We bought two plates (Pad See Ew and Drunken Chicken Noodles) for $7 each. It came with a sad slice of orange and a couple pieces of iceberg lettuce. And only 1 fork and 1 napkin. The noodles were super dry and clumped together. The bakery stand has good lemon tarts and fruit tarts.

Yelp
Great selection of fresh fruits and veggies, but I was disappointed at the limited number of other stands. I've been to other farmer's markets that had various follower, craft, and food stands, but this one only had one flower stand, one honey stand, a kettle corn stand, and one food stand (Thai food). The market is small in general but it would really benefit from expanding the types of vendors. Convenient for getting produce but not much else.

Yelp
Santa Teresa Farmers Market is near Kaisers Permanante. lots of parking. low attendance in the early afternoon. less than 2 dozen veggie/fruit vendors. locale: Santa Teresa and Camino Verde (sat. 10-2) food vendors: -hummus heaven -thai food stand -crispy kettle corn -rudy's tamales y mas -falafel fresh -bread. edith's?, didn't look footnotes: -lots of parking -no seating for eating -no lines anywheres. -food stand pricing varied from cheap to moderate high -didn't look at veggies.

Yelp
I've been to the farmer's market in all parts of San jose for as long as I've lived here it's got all the wonderful local fresh fruits and vegetables. My favourite farmers market is this one in Santa Teresa! Popcorn kernel is a must for the little ones!
google avatar

Yelp
It may be small, but it's got just about everything that I need for weekly produce! I feel that with bigger farmers markets there's just too much going on, too many vendors selling the same thing. At Santa Teresa, the small footprint makes it easy to become fans of the vendors! Love Diaz Farms and Brothers Ranch (even visited them during their tours this summer). On a weekly basis, I buy seasonal fruit (for summer time it was pluots, nectarines, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc) and veggies (spinach, kale, onions, broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, etc). There are no meat offerings at all, until this past Saturday that had a booth selling beef. So, if you're looking for fresh produce, this is the place you need to shop at.

Yelp
We come for the flowers! There are a range of different flowers and bouquets at very affordable prices that it would behoove you to stop by this Farmer's Market when it sets shop. The vendors are all amicable and helpful even so early in the morning. I've been here a few times already and always walk out with a beautiful selection. There are bakery items, fruits and vegetables, nuts, etc., etc.; you know, all that good stuff Farmer's Markets usually sell. But like I said, we're just here for the flowers anyway. Next time you're out visiting your PCP or are simply in the area, stop by. It is conveniently located and pretty easy to find with signs pointing you in the right direction.

Yelp
If you're already @ or near Kaiser on a Friday, it's a really nice bonus to have this little Farmer's Market available. It's not worth making a special trip unless you live very nearby since it has a very small number of vendors (15ish?). But that said, it is a lovely addition to a Kaiser facility and I sure can't knock that effort. The limited fruit and veggie vendors (5-6 total) have good quality stuff. I LOVE Beckmann's breads and those are a must buy. Try their partially baked three seed soudough baguettes: they are to die for! 7-10 minutes in the over and voila! Fresh and delicious bread that begs for a good quality butter. 2 baguettes for $4.50. But the prepared food choices is lacking compared to what I usually find @ a Farmer's Market. $5 for a baked potato? $5 for a breakfast burrito? Even the 'healthy' spring roll place is $4 per roll, and they say their crab is real (it is not) which really, really bugs me. That fake krab gives me weird allergic reactions, so they really shouldn't lie about this! Grrr. I go home with Beckmann's Three Seed Loaves, cauliflower, celery and cherries and a quart of local Los Gatos honey (Small Bee's...love their product). I'm quite happy w/my shopping today. But Campbells Farmer's Market, here I come :)

Yelp
I love this place! I come here for the delicious BTBs from Precious Bites and the hummus from... the hummus guy. Plus, it's right around the corner from my mom's, so a very nice way to spend a springtime Saturday morning. A bit more expensive than the Farmer's Market on Tennant in Morgan Hill, but this Farmer's Market will yield great produce and some nice deals. They have eggs, honey, veggies, and fruits from local farmers. This past summer, I got some delicious cherries at a phenomenal price.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
I like coming to this place every Friday because one I work very close by so whenever I feel like some fresh produce every Friday that's the place to be and two it's convenient! I just wish there were more vendors at this place it is small so I understand the cramped space and the reason why not some many vendors set up shop!
google avatar

Ruthie V.

Yelp
I wish it were bigger and the prices seemed to keep increasing. Most of the vendors don't let you taste their produce so I just walk by and go to the ones that do and they get all of my business. The egg guy asked me why I wanted brown eggs and he said that there's not difference and they taste the same. I disagree but I wasn't in the mood to argue with such a jerk. He may as well paint is brown eggs white so he doens't make his customers try and feel like idiots.

Yelp
This is a nice farmer's market and the only decent produce in this area (grocery stores produce here is atrocious). My only issue is that if you want organics your options here are very limited - 3 vendors at most sell organics. I end up having to hit up another market on Sunday (or mid-week) for additional variety. Also good here - hummus and farm fresh eggs. I wish it was bigger and had more organic options, but you can't beat a year round market that is only a few blocks away from my house.
google avatar

Jan P.

Yelp
Limited vendors. The same vendors are at the much bigger market at Kooser & Meridian on Sundays. Don't waste your time if you like to browse around.
google avatar

Des S.

Yelp
Very small farmers market. But lots of fresh fruits and veggies for waaay lower prices than Whole Foods!!! A lot of the vendors sell certified organic food which is a huge plus in my book. Some of them even have samples of fruits, or you can always ask to try something they have out. We spent about $20 for a beach bag full of greens, tomatoes, grapes, broccoli, and so much more. Definitel bring your reusable bags! This is the first famers market ive tried in the area and its very small. Only one isle of vendors. In a larger parking lot by Kaiser. I wish there were more vendors with pasteries! Love me some fresh breads!
google avatar

Angela F.

Yelp
This farmers market is relatively small and only have 2 or 3 stands that sell organic produce out of a total of 10 stands or so. They open only on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm or so. In addition, there are stands selling pies, pita chips and hummus, artisinal breads, and orchids. I have to admit the specialty stands have great products. In terms of food, there are always Thai, Mexican, and kettle corn stands. There is always plenty of parking as this is next to the San Jose Kaiser and Santa Teresa library. If you need just a few vegetable or fruit items, you can probably find it here but if you're looking for a huge variety or specialty items, you may want to go to larger farmers markets like the one in Mountain View or Campbell.
google avatar

Krys B.

Yelp
This is the tiniest farmers market ever, but the vendors are wonderful! You can zip in and out in like 10 minutes. Parking is never a problem, and the variety is fantastic. I especially love Big Paw, who make gourmet oils and vinegars. The best thing about this farmers market is that while there are a few vendors who are always there (Samosas, yum!) there are also vendors that come and go on a random basis. So it's never boring and you always have something new to discover.

Yelp
Not as big as other Farmer's Markets but is ok if you are looking for some fruits and veggies. It is nice because our favorite Farmers market (Morgan Hill) does not start for another month or so. This one is in the big parking lot next to the library. Lots of parking and a porta potty with a sink a plus.
google avatar

Mason W.

Yelp
Small but close to where we live and great quality food. I went 1st week of April but I hear it picks up and has much more to offer starting May or last week of April. Got a couple of kinds of hummus and from a vendor with 35 different flavors. Also, got some lemon pita chips from them. Makes for a quite excellent snack!

Yelp
A very nice farmer's market, they have a bunch of fruit and vegetable stands, various specialty food products like hummus, bean pies, kettle corn -- also a variety of eating vendors such as Thai street food, Mexican food, and more. They often also have live music playing amongst the stands. All this makes for a wonderful farmer's market, and the people working here are very friendly and it has a true community feel. It is a very small market however, probably the smallest I've seen in San Jose.

Lisa D.

Yelp
This market is small but has a wealth of items. Note that today (5/18) the market was located across Camino Verde, not right next to the library as it always has been. Not sure if the change is temporary or not.

Yelp
This farmer's market takes place every Friday between the 1N and 2N buildings. It's pretty small, but they do have the usual vendors for breads, pastries, Margaret's French Bakery can satisfy your cravings for any sweets, and the strawberries are usually a great buy as well. If you get there early enough, you can find beautiful orchids for a great price!
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
I came here today for the first time and I loved it! I agree that there is a very small selection but for me its perfect because I hate to have too many choices and the small number of vendors had exactly what I needed for the week. I am doing a vegan detox for the next 3 weeks and this is exactly what i needed for the week plus the prices were really great!

Yelp
Came for the flowers, stayed for the fruits and veggies.

Yelp
This is a farmers' market right by where I live and it's located at a parking lot where Kaiser is. According to the signs, it is open every saturday from 10-1pm, rain or shine. The kettle corn is definitely very good because it has a salty kick to it! What I love most about this place is Magic Bill! He is AWESOME! The reason why I'm taking off a star is because this farmers' market is definitely super small! Nice cute place to check out if you live close or if you are in the area.
google avatar

Lixa M.

Yelp
Love this farmer's market! It is walking distance from my home! The best part is a lot of times they provide a free bounce house for kids to jump in while you shop (although a parent must stay behind and supervise)
google avatar

Rose M.

Yelp
Went here first last year, and there was a delightful mix of vendors. I loved the flowers, the fresh organic vegetables, and the food. There is ample parking, and not so crowded which is good for me. 4 stars because they don't allow pets.
google avatar

Yelp
Very good small farmers market - works each Sat from 9am till 2pm. Not big, but with a good selection of fruits and veggies. Their is a good parking and library near. We already shopping on this market for the 2nd year.
google avatar

Lily P.

Yelp
Great fruit stand and a few serve food. The quality and people are great here. I just wish it were bigger. There is a hummus stand with nice thin pita chips and a lot of different flavors. I got the black bean with a kick to it. Also I bought some very sweet nectarines here. There is a bakery that comes, honey stand, and a lot of vegetables.

Yelp
As everyone in the area already noticed, this very sweet farmer's market on Saturday took off and is now open throughout the year! It's nice to just walk there although so much parking is available for everyone. It is a bit tricky to park in the same lot as the market because many people are walking, but it's not that it's a zoo. The prices are reasonable, and sometimes near the end of the market, you can find some unimaginable deals. I was shocked to buy a huge bag of plums for a great price just as I was leaving the market. It's nice to see people enjoying their walk along the stalls and hearing the live music. Thanks for making this market such a win-win for the community and hopefully, for the vendors too!
google avatar

Floyd R.

Yelp
I like to support the local economy but this place is so small it's not worth the stop.

Tylor R.

Yelp
I love the market, but beware of the Tamale Lady...she OVERCHARGED me and UNDERCHARGED my friend. When I told her she refused to give me my money back ($5.00 OVERCHARGE FOLKS). Aside her Tamales being WAY TOO SALTY they were WAY too expensive and she also sells them at Lucky's for 1.00 a tamale. Now she's charging 2.50 per tamale to people who dont even feel well. She needs a calculator to add and receipts for proof of purchase.

LANELLE F.

Yelp
I have been coming to this Farmer's Market for awhile. Today I had a lousy experience with one of the organic farms. I gave them my $5 bill for my veges and then he was telling me it was $5.50 so I clarified the price of each item and told him just to take out the 50 cent onion. He changed his mind and said I could have it and asked for $5. I thought I had already given him it, but figured maybe I was mistaken, so got out my wallet and gave him $5. This should have left me with 2 $5 bills in my wallet if he charged me once, but it didn't. It left me with only one $5, which means I DID give him two $5s. When I told him I paid him 2x he argued and said I didn't and left his booth area. I was frustrated and rechecked my pockets and wallet, but no 2nd $5 bill anywhere. I had just broken my $20 next to his booth and was given 3 $5s. This son-of-a-gun ripped me off! I won't be going back to this market anymore.

Yelp
love going nearly every weekend, now throughout the year! off to get strawberries, cherries...hopefully the last of the asparagus too! yum.
