SanTan Brewing - Downtown Chandler

I went here for a friend's birthday and I really think that it was a perfect venue for that! The whole atmosphere had a really fun vibe to it! We all loved the really cool Lego Star Wars that they had. That and the other decor gave the place a lot of life. The food was pretty good. I had a pesto sandwich and a pineapple drink which were both delicious! I also had a taco that I was not a fan of, however other people in my party liked it, so maybe it was just not for me. I will say that the price is kind of steep, nothing too outrageous but I just think it could've been a bit more reasonable.Also the place can get pretty loud. Overall, it is a very fun place that I enjoyed my time at, but I might not be a regular at. 8.5/10

Wife and I stopped for dinner around 5 pm after hiking. We were seated immediately and greeted by our waiter. He said we could get in on the Happy our specials. Wife ordered a Peach Palmer and loved it. I wanted to try a Lager from the many they had available,but didn’t know which one. He brought me 3 samples of my choosing, all were good but settled on sunspot gold. For dinner she chose the San Antonio Mac with brisket, mine the Bourbon Brisket Pot Pie. Both were outstanding. We would highly recommend this place

We go to San Tan Brewing every winter and are never disappointed. We love the hummus platter, and the delicious cilantro lime hummus is always the star. The whiskey chicken salad is one of our favorites. But really, you can't go wrong with any of it! Great beers, great variety of foods, and a generous happy hour menu! The staff is always so lovely - see you next time!

This is my third time here and I don’t know how I missed leaving a review. Each time we’ve enjoyed it, but today I think was the best stop for us. We all really enjoyed our meals from the club to burgers. My daughter and I both ordered the cubano which was fabulous! Fries were crispy and for our son and his girlfriend who’s never been they really had a good time. My son loves is breakfast option under brunch. Only negative he said was he wishes the hash browns were cooked a bit longer. Service was good, friendly, but she wasn’t very attentive with drinks besides the one time she refilled water cups. I never even saw her to ask for a soda refill or tea for my husband. Parking can be tricky, but we dns usually find a spot in the nearby parking garage of not on the street. Vibe is chill and they offer some great beer options.

I’ve been here a couple times and I’m sure that will continue. I enjoy the vibes here quite a bit and the downtown area. The food can be hit or miss. I’ve had amazing food that has brought me back but last week we didn’t finish our food. The chocolate taco dessert was delicious and I loved it. Wings were tasty. I like the different flavor options.

Thank you for not only the amazing food you guys did for a wedding, but also top-notch service from the beginning when we went to our tasting all the way through our wedding night taken care of us our guests with the highest quality. People are still talking about how good our food is from the wedding.

Stopped here on our way through the area as it was highly recommended by my parents, who frequent this spot multiple times every time they vacation here. We went for lunch and sat outside as we had our dog with us. They immediately brought out water for us and our dog as the water misters were working overtime. The food was pretty good but not exceptional. We really enjoyed the peach bbq wings but the burger and tacos, although good, were not five star worthy. The reason I gave this place five stars was because of their service, beer selection and atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and want to combat the Arizona heat with a cold one.

Food is great but the real star is their beer selection. I really love the beer choices and haven't had a bad beer yet. I love coming here for work lunches because the service is great and they are accommodating for larger groups. And if the weather is good, the patio is perfect. Nothing bad to say here. I have never had a bad meal or a bad experience here.

The food was good not going to give it 5's. The service was really really slow. It was not even busy there were more tables empty than taken. It was after lunch time so the "rush" was over when we were there. We ordered our drinks and it took over 10 mins to get them. Upon ordering I noticed my fork had dried on food. You would think the hostess would have noticed it being dirty. I ordered the grilled chicken jalapeño Cesar salad. The croutons were soggy. Maybe that is what they want, soggy croutons. I requested the dressing be on side. They served said it's all premixed. I questioned her on that because if they did the dressing by premixing it, it would make the salad soggy. I had asked if she could ask it be on the side please. She came back and said that it was not premixed in, but she mentioned she was always told it's premixed. The dressing was okay, not much flavor which was a disappointment. They have only mango black tea which was so nasty and gross! If they are going to do a flavor do one that is like by people not mango. Blackberry, raspberry or hibiscus would be better! Or just black tea. The mango flavor was not good! So in short, service could have been quicker and the bartender could have moved a bit faster with the drinks. It was not busy at the time we went. But I wouldn't not recommend them they usually are spot on! It was an off day for them.

Dined with my family tonight. It's my second time here and it's been around 8 years since my previous visit. We were able to be seated right away. The restaurant is quite large and open but it was still quite noisy. They have a Star Wars scene above the bar seats but I'm not the right guy to describe it, but my son thought it was really cool. We got two pretzels to share for $17. Quite pricy and they were nothing special. The cheese sauce and mustard were just ok. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon (which I didn't not get) and added lettuce, tomato and onion. It was good size but the brioche bun was so soft the entire sandwich fell apart every bite. My sons liked the pizza and fish and chips they ordered, but they said it wasn't anything they would return for. Overall it was not worth the price, but it wasn't a bar experience either. It will likely be another eight years before I return

A surprising find in Downtown Chandler. Glad we dropped by for a weekend night and gave them business! Had to wait for a party of 7! We chose to sit outside because of our pet dog. Glad that pets are welcome. We started with the beer flight, wings, fries, pizza, and the bacon cheese wraps (I think, can't remember the name, it was like bacon cream cheese fried). Their fries were so good and the bacon cream cheese thingy too, went well with the beer! The pizza was meh! Our server took good care of us! Would love to go back for TGIF.

We came out for Saturday brunch and we liked our food a lot! The service was great. We were checked on regularly, got refills consistently, and our server was nice! I got the Turkey and Gouda omelette from their weekend brunch menu. It was good! I asked for crispy hash browns in lieu of fruit and they were honestly just okay. Our food came out a bit cold but my daughter loved the kids chicken and waffles, my boyfriend had the best chicken strips and fries and liked his beer. We love the outdoor/patio seating and the buzzing atmosphere of downtown Chandler. Fun location and worth the stop in!

I recently ordered the Chipotle Bacon Cheeseburger from SanTan Brewing Company to go. The burger came with house smoked chipotle bacon, pepper jack, white cheddar, chile lime mayo, on a brioche bun. Overall, the burger was delicious. The combination of the smoky chipotle bacon and the blend of cheeses created a rich flavor. However, I found that the chile lime mayo didn't make much of an impact on the overall taste. Despite this, the burger was still very enjoyable, and I'll be back again!

One of the best breweries in the Valley! We love coming here and it's one of our go to spots to bring 'out of towners' to try. The menu is large and has a ton of variety. Their wings are good, they have great sandwiches like the Nashville Hot Chicken, and excellent burgers. Definitely check out their Brewpub Favorites section as well! If you're coming to SanTan, you have to try their beer! Some of the best local beer in the Valley. Again, huge variety they make. My favorites would be the Hefe, Mr. Pineapple, and SunSpot. Their IPA's are extremely popular too. It's a great place to catch a game with plenty of TV's. They have great events regularly and music as well. Definitely a staple of Downtown Chandler and a must try!

The beer is pretty good, but the food seems to be hit or miss. I have by this point tried both the Cubano and the Nashville hot chicken sandwiches. While the former was fine I found the latter to be overwhelmingly sweet. That is not a typo, their Nashville hot chicken sandwich is sweet. I would recommend avoiding it. Both times I went the place was also quite full so keep that in mind.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Food is delicious (especially the hummus and French fries!) Service is great and the beers selection is vast! I highly recommend the winter warmer when it's in season. It comes with a gingersnap cookie that is sooo good! Be aware though, if you order a "flight" of beer, it comes with a preset variety of 8 beers. Yes, 8 beers. If you want a flight like you're used to, you can order 5oz pours a la carte. Then you aren't forced to go with 8 and you can pick the ones you want to try.

Came here for a Saturday night dinner. Loved the place and the food. The building is covered in fun decor and has great garage doors for an open concept. I had the bourbon arnold palmer which was fantastic. Loved the food and our service was great (Zeus crushed it!)

Santan Brewing is definitely a go to in Downtown Chandler! They are pretty much always busy! It's got really awesome atmosphere open window and bar concept. Most of the beers are pretty great and the food is typically delicious! They are also dog friendly on the patio, which we always love! We love going for the happy hour here. The Smashburger is only eight dollars and it is better than all the burgers on the main menu! They have really good bone in wings, but for me, I would stay away from the boneless as they are extremely breaded. But I know some people like that so if that's your thing I say go for it because the wing sauces are all really fantastic!! One of my favorite times a year is when they bring out the winter warmer with the gingerbread cookies! Definitely get there in December and try this out. You won't be disappointed!!

A few friends and I went to SanTan for the happy hour and it was a great time! We went at a 4 pm on a Monday, it was not too busy at all. We sat outside on the patio and each got a drink and shared two of their happy hour food items, The nachos and pretzel bites were good tasting and good enough portion to share for three people. The beers were about 4 dollars and each appetizer was 8 dollars. I am glad we tried out this local gem and we will for sure be coming back!

My wife and I decided to give this place a try. We ordered the pretzel appetizer which was very good. My wife got the hamburger and she said it was good. I ordered the chicken pot pie and I like it a lot. Would have been better with a little more chicken. Service was excellent and the servers are attentive. The ambiance is modern industrial hipster place. I highly recommend this place because it's a great value for your money with quality food.

San Tan was accommodating to a large group work event. Lots of seating both indoors and out. Our server was friendly and service was good. Food was excellent. Menu had a variety of options and we also ordered a few appetizers for the table. Parking is a bit tricky for downtown Chandler parking if you're looking for something nearby.

I attended a private event in one of their rooms recently for a work gathering. The servers and bartender in our area were great. I was shocked to learn that SanTan has their own distillery as well where they produce premixed cocktails by the bottle. The espresso martini cocktail I had was one of the best I've tried, and you'd never know it was a bottled item. Food during our visit was buffet style since it was a larger event. Although, I didn't get the opportunity to sample the menu, the food during our event was consistent and flavorful.

I've been wanting to check on San Tan Brewery for ages after hearing so many positive reviews from friends. Our group of four headed there at around 6:30 pm on a Friday night and we didn't have to wait to be seated which was great. The restaurant has plenty of seating both inside and outside and is decorated festively for the holidays. We ordered loaded potato fries for the table before ordering a 14" windy city pizza, cilantro lime hummus, and a whisky cheesesteak. The size of the pizza was generous and there was plenty for leftover the next day, the hummus board was plentiful and also left enough for lunch the next day and the whisky cheesesteak was just ok and perfect for one meal. The cheese on the sandwich has a weird consistency and the meat wasn't thinly shaved enough for a cheesesteak sandwich. The beer selection here is top tier-the Mr. Pinnapple was my favorite. Both the drinks and food came out quickly and the staff was very attentive. I would 100% come back here again!

I absolutely used to love coming here for so many things before. But these past two times the quality of food has plummeted immensely. This most recent visit on Monday both my stepdad and i got some kind of food poisoning and my stomach has still yet to recover. So much for being able to enjoy Easter. Thanks SanTan. Not only did my dads hamburger give us a week on the toilet but his burger was overcooked, our wings tasted awful and didn't taste like they were grilled what so ever when we asked, the cheese curds were mostly just batter, the mahi wrap sounded promising but tasted absolutely terrible, and not one water was refilled. We were starving and didn't feel like making a fuss being that hungry. We also asked if they could turn the outside heater on for my mom since it was a little chilly out and they never did that either. Must have been a crazy off day for everyone. I'm beyond terrified to eat there if we go back. Can't say i really would recommend to anyone after these two visits.

I've been to SanTan Brewing Company for drinks before and finally tried the food. I ordered the Mr. P's pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was decent, though the brioche buns seemed burnt. The BBQ sauce was odd and wasn't to my personal taste. The fries were good and crispy as requested. I couldn't shake off the feeling that perhaps I should have opted for a different menu item. The orange creamiscle cocktail was good and not overwhelmingly sweet. The service experience was a bit mixed; the staff was attentive, but their frequent check-ins made us feel pressured to finish quickly. We were asked multiple times if we needed a box or if our plate was ready to be taken away, while we were still eating and drinking. It left me with a bad taste and feeling unwanted.

SanTan was a part of my "forgotten " series of breweries that I have had. Thankfully my notes had this brewery and the details with my experience there. To my defense I believe it's related to a phone of mine getting destroyed so tge information about the visit went with that. Well, better late than never I suppose. For SanTan Brewing I had the Epicenter Amber Ale, a refreshing beer to be sure. Flavor features with this beer are malty, sweet and hoppy. The beer is smooth and light in body. A good amber ale to enjoy, that is for sure!

We hired SanTan Brewing Company to cater our wedding. They did an excellent job! The food was even better at our wedding than at the tasting. The staff introduced themselves and let us know what we could expect from them. We never had to ask for anything. The linen and napkins were nicely placed as stated in our contract. I didn't quite understand why we had to give them with our entire menu again when all items were stated in our contract. It was time consuming to type out every specific item (as they wanted) in a word document and copy and paste it on their form and email it back to SanTan Brewing Company. It is for this reason that I gave them 4 stars. From my perspective, it would have been better to ask if there were any changes to the items on the contract and then provide those changes. All in all I would recommend.

Still our favorite local burger spot! My dad and his wife were visiting, so we came in last night around 5:30. There was a 20-25 min wait, so we walked around DTC for a bit. Our table was ready in 7 min! Kind of sad they got rid of the waitlist on yelp, but that's ok! We had excellent service and the food was incredible as always. Our guests also enjoyed their food and beer! Burgers are always cooked to specification and they don't skimp on toppings. If you order a burger and want LTO, you do have to specify, otherwise it does not come with the burger. Pro tip: get the ranch for the fries. Every. Time. You won't be disappointed!

I have been going to Santan for many years. I am a local and everyone that works there now is so wonderful and sweet. I always look forward to seeing them the bartenders, especially our fabulous. Their food is always good and more than enough that I can eat and the ambience is fine if you want to have a great time and get out some positive energy it's a great way to do it there. It's good for family singles couples. I highly suggest Santa especially in football season.

San Tan Brewing Company was a bit of a mixed experience for me. The beer selection was fantastic--definitely the highlight of the visit. They've got some great brews that are worth trying. The food, on the other hand, was pretty average; nothing bad, but nothing standout either. I went during lunch, and while the waitstaff was friendly, the service felt a little off, like they were having an off day. I'm hoping this was just a one-time thing and plan to give it another try. The beer alone makes it worth a second visit.

What a very cool place. We were staying next door at the Hotel and I had a beer and a Burger on my mind all day. San Tan was the winning choice and so glad we went in. Great fun staff. TV's on for the game Monday night. Our server Bridget was so nice. I did a Naked Burger and build with cheese, bacon, and LTM. COOKED UP MEDIUM, Outstanding. Took ALL I COULD TO FINISH IT. Josh the Mgr. brought our drinks over to us and ended up visiting for at least 5 minutes. Found out all about his Kansas City Grandparents and their table we were at. It was a for sure see you again nice early dinner. Thanks, you guys for making our 1st trip to Chandler a Great Memory.

I just finished dinner and a few drinks at the SanTan Brewing Company. The food was good, drinks were great, and the service was excellent!! I sat at the bar and was served by Kate. She was the highlight of the night. Kate was attentive, personable, respectful, and honestly one of the best servers I have had in a very long time. I would absolutely come back to this location again and again.

Food is ok, not great. The beer makes up for the food. The place is pretty spacious and nice though with seating outside also. I ordered the brisket pot pie and it came semi cold in the center. I told them and they prepared a new one for me that came out a little burnt. Was better, but still just warm in the center-pretty sure they cook these things in the morning and then just reheat them for you. Reheat on too high a temp hence and coldness. Also, I asked how long they smoke their brisket and was told 11 hrs. That brisket in my pie was pretty tough-I honestly found it hard to believe they smoke it all or if they do, they need to fire their pit master and get a new one. Would not come back for food, only beer.

We took advantage of some of the specials and all the food was great. We had to get Winter Warmer, it's an annual thing.

Our company recently held our Holiday Party at SanTan Brewing, and it was an incredible experience! The venue looked fantastic, and I didn't even need to bring any decorations. Our two servers were outstanding. Thank you so much for making the party unforgettable. A special thanks to Alexa and Audra, who were absolutely fantastic. They assisted me with the planning every step of the way. Thank you both for all that you do!

My recent visit to Santan Brewery during restaurant week was fantastic. They offered a set menu for couples at just $44, which included one appetizer, two mains, and a dessert. We started with a soft pretzel with beer cheese, and it was amazing. The mushroom burger and brisket sandwich for our mains were both delicious. To top it off, the brownie dessert was superb. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and pleasant. Highly recommend Santan Brewery for a great dining experience!

Was in Chandler again and had to come eat at San tan brewing. The food was delicious again and our waiter Zeus was awesome. This time I had the Cubano and it was very yummy. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Inside the game was on so it was rather loud. I'm sure I'll be back!!

This is a solid venue for some brews and decent bar food. They've actually got a pretty extensive menu and from the few times I've been there I haven't had anything that I didn't enjoy. I think the Mac and cheese could use more cheese and a little salt but it's still a good Mac. The ranch is above average. Check em out after a round of golf with the boys at San Marcos.

Stopped in with my sis and her friends after attending the wine festival. We had really good service and my drink was tasty. I had a Caesar salad and thought it was good. The service was good and we had a fun time.

My husband and I were trying to have a date night but we made the mistake of not making reservations on a Friday night in downtown Chandler! Oye! San Tan was the only place we could get it so I can't complain! However, it was extremely loud! Unfortunately we sat next to an extra loud large party so we had to scream to one another when trying to talk. I had a burger and it was delicious! My husband had some wings and a spinach salad. He enjoyed the wings but the salad was drenched in salad dressing making it soggy! The mgr came over and apologized and took it off our bill, which was nice. It's a loud place but the service and food are pretty good! Just don't go on a Friday night if you are looking for a date night with your spouse!

This area is happening! And the brewery can hold its own with the quality food & beers. Stopped in on a Friday night and the entire block is bustling. Inside is your typical brew pub but I was really impressed with how good the chicken street tacos were. Loved the cilantro, onion, and salsa on them and the rice and beans were nice complements. Really enjoyed both beers I had especially the Juicy Jack, New England ipa. Great location, great food + beers = 5 stars.

Went on a weeknight with a larger group and they had no problem seating us within 5 minutes. The beer flights are pre determined but include 8 beer samples for on $10! We split a couple different appetizers which were all great. I enjoyed the hummus plate and especially liked the house salsa that came with the chips and dip.

Good lunch. I enjoyed my tacos. My momma said her pulled pork got better as she ate it. The server forgot about her ketchup side until much later. Thanks Sam Tan

Best taco Tuesday ever! So good! Cool atmosphere. Service was great and the waiter certainly knew his stuff, making great recommendations we all loved!

We chose San Tan Brewing Co for our Rehearsal Dinner and are SO happy we did. The location is top notch! They were flexible, accommodating, well-organized and very easy to work with! We had fun choosing and curating a menu and ultimately decided on BBQ. The food was great and service was outstanding. They had a lot of fun upgrade options for desserts, martini towers, etc. They had a microphone we could use for toasts and a private room and bar for us. We appreciated the little centerpieces and table runners which helped bring everything together and look presentable. Would definitely recommend them for special moments!

Since SanTan Brewing Company has opened, we have come here many times both with family and friends and they never disappoint. They have many different kinds of beer that you can sample. I would highly recommend you check the restaurant out if you are a beer lover.

We are so thankful to have been able to host our wedding rehearsal brunch at SanTan Brewing! They were able to host our group in their private room with a great menu for us at a price far better than others in the valley. Thank you for your attention to detail and high level of execution. It was a treat and we look forward to find another excuse to be able to book with you again.

We hosted our son's and his fiance's rehearsal dinner here. It was absolutely amazing! We had 2 hosts who were so helpful and friendly. All of the guests loved the food and the venue. It was a great way to kick off the wedding weekend. Thank you so much!

There is a 10% To-go surcharge added to all take out orders. On top of 3% non-cash fee for both dine in and take out. I haven't seen something like this since early covid, it is a very scummy practice, period. There are so many great restaurants in the East Valley that don't penalize you for supporting their business, spend money on people who want it.

This is a great brewery. We only stopped in for a couple of drinks. I wish we would have eaten there because the food smelled and looked amazing. I big shout out to Sydney, who helped me fix my reading glasses. Can't wait to return.
