Best Farmers Market ever. Perfect timing in every Wednesday 4 to 8 pm in summer. The vibe is awesome. Vendor is awesome. I had the best ice cream in my life in this farmer's market. There's authentic Chinese food. Fresh produces. 100% grass fed beef (I bought New York Steak) And beers--you Guava be kidding me😂. Feel so happy shopping here. The

First time visited the Santana Row Farmers Market and they are open in May from 4pm-8pm. Many interesting stalls and samples to try. I wish they have parking for bike near by.

Lots of vendors - you can get farm fresh produce, made to order eats, flowers and of course Bay Area beloved Roxanne’s Biscotti. However I do have an issue with the service. I recently visited Roxanne’s after a long while and the guy (Roxanne’s partner) was telling me about all the new products they have in a friendly manner, including biscotti bites. However, as soon as I asked for a sample of a new flavor I wanted to try, his tone of voice changed completely and he gruffly answered, we don’t do samples. I was taken aback by the harshness of his tone, as I was asking a simple question. I don’t think it’s out of the question to assume that a vendor at a farmers market would give out samples, since literally everyone else does. I guess he assumed that I’m a freeloader or something, well his loss as he just lost out on a potential customer.

This occurs only during the summer on Wednesday nights from 4 to 8 PM in the months of May to September. It was my first time going to a farmers' market in the evening! I found this by chance while shopping at Santana Row, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the various businesses giving out free samples! I got to try lentil stews, watermelon, peaches, garlic chips... the list goes on! There were so many free samples :) Some businesses that really caught my eye were Roli Roti Rotisserie, Little Sky Bakery, Roxanne's Biscotti, That Garlic Stuff, Roti Pakistani, and more! There was a live band there too called Sound Advice. Good vibes.

Google
Nice farmer’s market to check out if you’re in the area, but it’s pretty small, roughly 15-20 vendors. Focuses on produce and food products, no non-food items (e.g. candles, soaps, jewelry, etc.), but with a good amount of free samples, especially fruit. Would recommend if you’re already in the area and looking for something to do for 30 minutes. Luckily, you have the mall and the rest of Santana Row nearby, so you can make an evening out of it by going to all three.

Google
What a joy it was to stumble upon a California farmer's market! This one was great fun, with an entire block closed off for two rows of tents of vendor after vendor. There were vendors offering fresh, ripe California fruits and vegetables that made me wish I had access to a kitchen. There were talented street musicians. There were booths with all kinds of crafts and unique "made in California" items that made me wish I had more room in my suitcase. When we lived in California, I was spoiled by having these wonderful farmer's markets available in almost every little community. The puny farmer's markets and the less than optimal produce in Texas simply can't compete with this! California farmer's markets are more like weekly street fairs. It's good to be home!

Every Wednesday 4-8 pm. Fresh & seasonal fruits. Lots of tastings. Tip: Buying towards the end increases chances of bargains. Very fun environment, lots of people and many vendors.

Google
Excellent vibe, Fresh products, and amazing folks! I really enjoyed my time here in this farmer's market because they truly have the best and affordable fresh produce items that I needed. It was indeed the best place to enjoy some fresh juice and pastries too. I will absolutely come back here soon! Thanks!

Yelp
The Santana Row Farmers' Market is on Wednesdays during the summer. I finally had the chance to stop by yesterday! It had been on my list of summer activites I wanted to check out. This farmers market did not disappoint! It is located in the area in front of Blue Bottle Coffee. Great ambiance! I heard live music and saw various types of food being sold. From a taco truck, to plenty of organic fruit, to beautiful bouquets of fresh flowers, even frose being sold in front of Left Bank (!!!). I will have to stop by again this summer. SO much fun! One booth was handing out samples of vegetable juice. I believe it was called Silicon Valley Microgreens. Nice guy. I tried his sample. This farmers market was larger than I thought. Back to the fruit - there were plenty of seasonal items - think fresh summer peaches, strawberries, blueberries, etc. I did not take any photos because I had just bought ice cream from Smitten. (BTW, Smitten has THE best ice cream! - love their matcha and seasonal flavors)

Yelp
Continuing my tour of local Farmers Markets, this week I visited the one at Santana Row. One of the main reasons I'm giving it only 3 stars is the parking situation as it's always atrocious at Santana Row. Right now, their employee lot in the back is completely closed for construction, which makes things even worse for visitors trying to shop or dine. The market itself is set up near the movie theater, but the layout feels messy. Vendors are scattered in between the outdoor dining areas, so you get a stretch of stands, then a big gap of people eating dinner, then more stands, and then more diners. It doesn't flow well and feels disorganized. As for vendors, it's the usual mix: fruits and vegetables, flowers, and some assorted foods. Nothing in particular stood out to me, and honestly there isn't much that would make me choose this market over any of the others I've been to or any vendor here that I haven't seen before at a different market. It was nice to finally check it off the list, but I wouldn't go back.

Yelp
I love this farmer's market! There are a couple of food trucks at one end and then several shops along the street. The whole street is blocked off. They ask for no dogs except service animals (since there's food everywhere). This is a great place to meet up with family or friends...I just wish that there were more places to sit! I'm an indecisive person, so this farmers market is the best since there aren't TOO many choices to choose from. My ultimate favorite booth is P&K Farms! They have quite a long line, but their berries are the best....and they're organic! Their workers are so nice and you can tell that they truly care about their customers and berries. This market is only during the summer on Wednesdays. I highly recommend this farmers market.

Yelp
Hello, I am writing to review the Roli Roti food truck located in the Santana Row area of San Jose. Every Wednesday, the food truck opens up for its weekly farmers market, and the line is always long. I decided to give it a chance and purchase a whole chicken. One positive aspect I noticed is that once you purchase a chicken, it is carefully packed in a paper bag instead of plastic, like Costco and several grocery supermarket delis. On a personal note, I found the chicken to be delicious. I am pleased to have tasted such a high-quality.

Yelp
I found out about this farmers market by chance. I was working in the immediate area, went outside to walk around before driving home and saw the booths. Fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, prepared food - sweet and savory, and non-food things like flowers were available. There was live music too. I wouldn't seek out this market due to the location and limited offerings, but if in the area I'd stop by.

Yelp
I love this farmer's market! I live a few minutes away, and this adds a fun tradition and further liveliness to Santana Row when the market is open! They have delicious and varied food options such as tamales, rotisserie chicken, and crepes-- all were very yummy! All the vendors we spoke to were kind and offered so many samples and recommendations. They played peaceful, live music, and it's always a good time there. I can't wait for them to come back next season!
google avatar

Yelp
Usually, farmer's markets are on the weekend so was surprised to see this on a Wednesday. It's a smaller market than usual but a good one. There was live music and great stores with a lot of samples. I picked up some fruit and Chinese food.

Yelp
Fresh produce and great food, what more can you ask for? So glad I went to this farmers market. They have some great deals such as a bouquet of flowers for $10 and $5 hummus. The only issue I have with this farmers market is that it's on the smaller side. It's about one block of Santana Row and not the whole street. Pros: - All vendors take card - Great deals - Fresh produce -East parking -Late hours (from 4pm-8pm) Cons: - No dogs allowed - Small farmers market -Seasonal Overall, I would recommend you to stop by as a nice little summer activity.

Yelp
Open later than other usual farmers market. Most farmers market start early in the am but this one is an evening farmers market. Which is nice for people that get off work late. Bought a few fresh products such as strawberries , lettuce , plums, tomatoes , and other fruit and veggies. The strawberries were really sweet. Had to tried them. Cant wait to make different desserts with them. Love farmers market!
google avatar

Derek S.

Yelp
Came by the other Wednesday to grab some fruit! Parking is available in the underground lots and plentiful in surface lots! My favorite stall here are the peaches that are tree-riped and always perfect! Unlike the peaches at the grocery store which are closer to apples than peaches! Most stalls take credit cards too!

Yelp
Weekday afternoon evening Farmer's Market aren't the same feel as those weekend morning Farmer's Markets. My experience is that weekday evening Farmer's Markets has less vendors and it's more about the meals or drinks than the produce. Today was the first time I visited and there were about 15 vendors. I went around the last 40 min and most vendors still had items, I got the last 2 samosas at India Gourmet (they also sell at Saratoga Farmer's Market on Saturdays).
google avatar

Manda Bear B.

Yelp
Glad they reopened, still don't allowed dogs, but we going to the restaurants here, so luckily our dogs were allowed. Same familiar vendors, Roli Rôti chicken, (no-cash transaction), stone fruits, veggies and more. Be careful, no one practice 6 feet social distancing, unfortunately... So wear mask please! Better be safe than sorry! Come early at 3ish, less people and you get fresher produce!

Yelp
Great mid-week market with awesome vendors and fun ambiance!

Yelp
Note that this is a seasonal (summer I guess) type of farmers market in Santana Row (for what I have seen in other reviews the location was a different one, so I am pretty sure this is an alternative farmers market). I got to know about their existence thanks to Facebook posts and I thought it was organized by some French meetup group, as they called it Le marche (so I was expecting all sorts of French products, which is not the case). However the 50 or more stands did not disappoint and I have to say that this is the nicest farmers market (in terms of pretty factor) that I have seen around the Bay Area). I really like the mix of 'city feel' and casual market, both chic and informal. You could think you are in some street in Europe. I liked all the produce I bought, fruits look phenomenal, so fresh and plumpy (got get those figs and heirloom tomatoes!). Speaking of tomatoes I arrived just in time to participate in my first ever 'tomato tasting'. There was a young lady very friendly promoting the market and doing a cooking demo with the tomatoes. People could seat in chairs and watch the demos and participate. Santana Row is the 'pretty street' in San Jose and this summer market is a great addendum. The streets were packed, restaurants full, terraces showing happy people and me even happier with my hot and fresh croissant in hand. Not very Parisian yet very 'Santanian' which is still good.

Yelp
If you like Santana Row, and you want to saunter into and out of stores, restaurants, etc., then you'll likely love the 'Farmers Market,' but if you're looking for a market with lots of vegetable and fruit vendors you may be less impressed. Today (Wednesday, May 24) there were 2 (two) vegetable vendors and 3 (three) fruit vendors. The fruit and vegetables looked fresh and everything was marked 'organic,' but the prices were primo, sort of Whole Food pricing on steroids. One stand had a dozen eggs for $12, for example, and another had 'early' peaches for $5.99 a lb. Besides those vendors were more (maybe 12 ? altogether ?) selling upscale muffins, lasagna, small (really small) loaves of bread, jars of jam, etc. and one vendor selling small bunches of flowers. Again, everything looked fresh and tasty but expensive. So if you are someone who likes to visit the Tesla store, sit for a glass of wine, and then pick up peaches and strawberries to take home, you will most likely enjoy the market. But if you'd like a choice of vendors selling a large variety of greens or fruits you should probably head toward a more traditional farmers market elsewhere.

Yelp
Prefect summer after work farmers market. From 4pm to 8pm. There is a back parking structure for the farmer market. Actually nice parking, go past the theater. Great parking for just shopping especially on the weekends. Small market. It's right on Santa row starring from the theater down to sephorah. Love how there is music so it's the perfect out after work and relax and shop. Roti, roti, chicken is there so perfect and hot!

Yelp
Although the season is about to end (it only runs summer from Beginning of May to end of September) it is still a great spot. Poorly advertised is the best way to describe it, most people are there for shopping and dining, so they kinda stumble into it. There are only two Veggie stalls, but both bring a variety of great stuff. This market is run by CFMA so they actually grow it all and take some serious pride in bringing the best, so you can get you grocery shopping done here pretty darn well. There are a few fruit stalls, P&K strawberries (arguably the best in CA) and plenty of other berries early in summer, ending stone fruit season soon. The centerpiece is usually the rollirolli chicken truck which is seriously cool! A flatbed modified with a built in rotisserie on the back with chicken just going all night. Usually some potatoes or sprouts sitting under and catching all the flavor, do not forget those! If they are running out or the lines too long my favorite for the market is the Oaxacan Kitchen, the tacos are quick and firkin awesome. There is also a BBQ tent with "the grill sergeant" taking orders. Really tasty, but I've only really had it a couple times as he was new this year and his line got long as heck most nights. The crepe tent towards the back by Makers place does savory as well as sweet, but c'mon, its gonna be Nutella and strawberries. There are great bakeries, Roxannes biscotti from Morgan Hill for biscotti, granola and more. Midwife and Baker bring the artisan heat and a Gluten Free shop named Soturi (Lemon Lavender Bread, try it). Bochman Kombucha brings some Great craft product, bring your growlers and bring a couple, flavors change regularly. Donnas Tamales are great, plus vegan options. Santa Cruz pasta comes out with sauces and even Neto's sausages from here in Santa Clara. I know I am missing the Roti Pakistani, Olive guy, my sons favorite chines noodles and buns, and even more, so you have to come by yourself and try it.

Yelp
Had no idea the Farmer's Market was on Wednesday's from 4-6p! We stumbled upon this lively market after happy hour at Yard House and were so excited! You get a free basket of organic strawberries when you check in, so head over to the information booth to claim it. There were typical vendors you'd imagine a farmer's market would have and stalls with desserts and foods. Santana Row is a great place to hold a FM because it's such a family friendly environment and gorgeous area. Will be back for the food.

Yelp
My attention went immediately to the stand that was selling stuffed naans! I saw different types of hummus, I believe that was what it was. I bought the spinach stuffed naan.. super extremely delicious!!! I will go again to see what other goodies they have.. it appears that I came towards the ending.. it was all crowded due to the Music and Singing something..

Yelp
The fruits, vegetables, bread, honey and berries are so tasty fresh and delicious. Everything so good

Yelp
Every Wednesday this comes around from spring to September. 4pm-8pm. Different vendors every year and restaurants hate it because it takes away from their business. They have a great selection of different local goods. I'm not much of a farmer's market girl myself, but I do like pastries, lemonade, and different ethnic foods. My all time favorite is the Indian stand that does fresh naan and butter chicken. There used to be a lemonade stand, but that was only for one season. They also have a truck in the middle called Rolli Rolli that has good rotisserie chicken and potatoes! This is something worth checking out, but the farmer's market itself is not very big.

Yelp
As Smiley W. mentioned, the East & West Gourmet Afghan Food has GREAT spinach type super thin breads called BOLANI! I come here specifically for these (I've only seen Campbell have them as well). They are divine! Very thin type of flour crepe with fresh spinach inside. Many other flavorful dips such as sun dried tomatoes or garlic mint cheese or pesto or sweet jalepeno. The guy told me that it's only 65 calories for a piece and there are 2 in a bag. The sauces probably are more calorific. He is very generous with samples. I was standing there and he gave me 5 pieces with different sauces! Many fresh fruit and veggie stands (duh). The typical stands such as flowers and fresh strawberries. One of the best things here is a fresh seafood bar! Fresh oysters shucked for you along with a variety of fish already pre-packaged in ziploc baggies. UPDATE* I am sad because the oyster man told me he is not allowed to shuck them because a license is required for that and some inspector guy came and told him not to..I suppose this will happen with all the other oyster places if they don't have licenses...BOO! There's also unique art and jewelry which are fun to look at but I never buy anything from them. A good thing about this place is it's open until 3pm so you can still squeeze in a farmers' market trip even if you're not quite the early bird. There's also tons of places to grab a bite at since you're at Santana Row already. NO DOGS are allowed but I always see people bring their little doggies in! Oh well. I don't mind since I'm a dog owner. The prices are a bit more compared to Campbell or Mt. View or Santa Clara.

Yelp
My first time visiting farmers market I got there alil bit too early.got some cherries and saw the ribs and chicken dinners looked good but I had to go.will definitely go back to try the pork ribs.it felt good to get out the house.i felt relaxed at home here.people are friendly and kind.

Yelp
Maybe one of the prettiest Farmer's Markets around, but also pretty much over-priced. And yes, it's tiny. Not a ton of variety- a few fruit stands, some veggies, one table of all things honey, some Lucky bamboo and orchids, and some handmade bags. (Beware- the bag guy is way aggressive. So only look if you're actually interested) The blueberry stand that sells them in big clear plastic cups is AWESOME. I mean. Not cheap. But really, some of the best blueberries we've had. But the one MAJOR reason to hit up this otherwise kinda weak market- The East & West Gourmet Afghan Foods booth. They sell these awesome breads (called bolani's) and a ton of different dips. Really. The Bolani booth is redic. LOVE it! (See my review of this tasty treat: http://www.yelp.com/biz/east-and-west-gourmet-afghan-food-concord) All of my stars are for the Bolani table.

Yelp
In all fairness, the farmers market wasn't officially open when we stopped by this morning around 9, but I think most of the produce stands were already set up. The first stand I saw with peaches, nectarines, plums, pluots, etc had all fruit priced at $3.25/lb. This is even more expensive than the notoriously expensive SF Ferry Building FM which averages the same fruit for about $3/lb. This doesn't seem to be a farmers market one would go to specifically for a farmers market...more like you're going to SR and may take a look at the stands not really expecting to buy anything. If you're looking for more of a farmers market experience, check out Campbell's a couple freeway exits away (http://www.yelp.com/biz/9aiWTOjHLE3lCxnREDc2JQ#hrid:MmCXRwuZ1ygaSRVzEVQGtQ). There are supposed to be some good prepared food stands, so I'll give it a shot eventually. I think Christine E thought I was flirting with bread man who I've encountered at Serramonte's FM (I like his big brioche). I totally was not, but what can I say...a man peddling carbs kinda excites me!

Yelp
Santana Row.....Farmer's Market??? YES!!!! MARKET HOURS: Sundays 10:00AM- 3:00PM LOCATION: On Santana Row, b/w Olin & Olsen. To be more specified: Only the left side of Santana Row, between Olin & Olsen. This farmer's market doesn't open too early and has maximum 20 booths only. It clearly tells everybody this is not THE traditional farmer's market you are looking for, getting all the fresh stuff with bargain prices. This place is more like a weekly community street fair. If your mind is set to enjoy another face of Santana Row and its charisma, you won't be disappointed. Despite of most goods are on an upper price side but still reasonable, they qualities is at high-end as well. I enjoyed the Sunday brunch time over there, corn on the cob $2, three little buckets of lushly sweet strawberries (Giant size) for only $5. Got to introduce this Booth: East & West Gourmet Afghan Food, the young man really knows how to mix the breads with the dips, yummy. I ended up buying two different sauces, garlic mint cheese and basil pesto, and the bread spinach bolani he recommended at $13. Some musical artists were performing there too. After a regular time as a farmer's market visitor, I could take couple more steps and became a weekend mall shopper again. What a convenience~~ The atmosphere will bring me back again soon!!

Yelp
When it's a beautiful sunny sunday day, and we're feeling cooped up, Sam and I will wander over to the Farmers Market. Unfortunately, this locality is extremely small. Like, REALLY REALLY small. Not much selection in terms of produce, but it's nice to come on out and get some sun. I usually come here to gawk at the orchid stand and to pick up this amazing homemade tomato salsa that's made with heirloom tomatoes. MMmmmm.... aside from that, you're better off going to a diff market.... like Los Gatos or Campbell.
google avatar

Yelp
We drove down here just to plan on walking slowly around Santana Row. What a nice way to spend an afternoon, no buying food, just people watching and lo and behold, there was a Farmers' Mkt going on and a pretty cool one at that. They have great popping corn, meat on a stick, fresh fruit like apples, apricots, peaches, cherries, etc. Bsically any quick cooking or easy growing food. It just made for a nicer experience. I was surprised that high brow Santana Row would allow such a low brow event but I'm real glad that they did. By the way, if you go late when they are closing up, they will practically give their wares away because they don't want to carry ANYTHING home with them. A word to the wise is sufficient.

Yelp
UPDATED 15 February 2008: This farmers' market has just gotten worse and worse. There are fewer and fewer stalls every time I go and the prices are annoying. It's not worth a visit at all. For a good Sunday market, drive to the Mountain View or downtown Campbell one. Original 3-star review: The Santana Row Farmers' Market is held on Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm. This is a fairly large farmers' market, with good selection and high prices to match the surroundings. There are lots of free samples if you're looking for lunch and want to know what your meal is going to taste like. The downtown Santa Clara Farmers Market (http://www.yelp.com/biz/tNIEp7EAcxn9lBRViMO3UA?hrid=6Lzc-ADXPlp_-z8hkMrg2g&fsid=IBhsgy66JVERAajecswD5Q) occurs on Saturday.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Wanna know what you MUST GET HERE. Its definitely the kettle corn popcorn. Ohh baby! Going here on a nice sunny Sunday popping those exploded kernels in your mouth just doesn't get any better than this. Then after wards you can lounge around in Borders and read a book or play giant chess w/ your mate or friends. Its just nice to browse around here leisurely w/o the drunk obnoxious ppl who are paying a lot for the drinks & food just to be seen. Here on Sunday its more about family & enjoying the simple things in life. Which is quite the paradox because hello! capitalism companies are on every block while the independent local farmers get the sidewalk. Quite the paradox indeed. Still its a nice change. Don't be afraid to try the other various homemade dishes just because its not super expensive & fancy doesn't mean its delicious!
google avatar

Danny C.

Yelp
In terms of farmers' markets, this one was pretty tame and lame. Very few vendors and very high prices. No need to shop here at all. Safeway will do you better.
google avatar

Kim N.

Yelp
This is more interesting for the people watching than the shopping. Was nearby for lunch and decided to stumble in. Mom's pushing strollers in hot pants? 5 inch heels to buy veggies? People trying to cruise and almost hitting the barriers? Yes that all happens here. The dude who seems to be killing it though is the kettle popcorn guy. He rakes em in
google avatar

Sabrina A.

Yelp
It's rather small, seemed over priced and not a huge selection of produce. But then again you are at Santana Row. The art was beautiful - almost worth checking out the area just for that. Plus it's super clean, the areas nice, plenty of walking space and it's a lovely place for a stroll. Yes there are silly uptight people with there dogs in a sweater - but you already know that going in - so just breath and let it go and have your own good time. Combined with some coffee and a honey - it's quite a cute romantic morning if you are into that. It's more of a destination rather than a place you would go for the farmer's market part but worth it none the less. It's also lovely if you combine it with a trip to the wine bar vintage and just people watch.
google avatar

Stephen W.

Yelp
I don't know if I'd really classify this as a farmers market compared to other ones in Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View or Campbell. Sure it has it's fresh produce and other market vendors, but the variety of vendors has really dropped since they first opened. Of all the different markets I've gone to this one has the most limited selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Yelp
Going to the Dupont Circle Farmer's Market in DC today reminded me of the times we would go to the Farmer's Market in Santana Row. I always thought this farmer's market gave Santana Row more of a human, non-calculated, realistic, organic vibe. It was also quite a large farmer's market with lots of different food vendors (though at the time I didn't know about the bolani). The nice thing was a lot of the actual food stands took credit and gave you lots of different options of what to eat. Like I said though, the thing I appreciated the most about this farmer's market was how for a few brief hours every Sunday it changed the atmosphere of such a fictitious place.

Yelp
3.5 stars Not your typical Farmer's Market seeing as they have more food booths than fresh produce. It's also small since it's lined up within Santana Row - probably not the best place for a Farmer's Market since it keeps things limited. You have your nut guy, bread guy, seafood guy, not many produce booths, falafel guy, etc. The prices are fairly high for a Farmer's Market. We came here on a nice day so it was nice to pick up a falafel wrap, some cheese bread and just chill outdoors at one of the tables. The falafel wrap and cheese bread weren't too shabby.

Yelp
This was my first time at the farmers' market here in santana row and I was super disappointed. A lot of the stands were actually vendors selling jewelry, bags, and teeshirts and less of them were selling fruit, veggies, and other edible goodies. What happened to the days when people went to the farmers; market for fresh ingredients? There were about 10 stands that sold food. 3 of them were strawberries, one was a small selection of veggies, 3 of them sold tarts and pies, one for nuts, and one of them sold afghan food. I ended up buying the sweet jalapeno sauce, cilantro pesto sauce, and the spinach naan from the afghan food stand. I got a pretty decent price on them and we had it later for dinner and it was delicious. I don't think i'll be returning here for the farmers' market, time to check out the others!

Yelp
I went last weekend with a couple friends and this place HAD AWESOME LIVE MUSIC. The (I think) Sf band Parachute was playing, and they were really great. TOOK EBT/ FOODSTAMPS. They take your card, call in the amount that you want taken off, then give it to you in $1 chips. The yellow chips can be spent on anything at the market besides flowers and hot meals. So it works one for one just like food stamps. And the market has a grant so that when you spend $10 or more of your food stamps at the farmers market, they'll give you $5 free to spend on fruits and vegetables. It's a great idea to incentivize healthy eating and local eating! IS BOLANI BREAD HEAVEN. The guys gives you enough free samples to constitute a small lunch. Bolani bread is an afghan bread and the vendor has a bunch of pestos and spreads that he puts on in different combinations to create amazing flavors. He'll give you a deal if you barter a little. HAS THE NICEST BEE LADY EVER. her lime-infused honey is so worth it. on the rim of a margarita. on toast. anywhere. HAS SWEET FARMERS. Sweet in the sense that when you buy four peaches, oftentimes they'll be like "hey, just take one more." 10-2pm sundays

Yelp
The selection is just okay. Picked up some deliciously sweet organic strawberries this weekend. I feel like the prices were a little steep here. Wonder if it's just 'cause they are in Santana Row? I like the flavored almond vendor's offerings as well. Kettle corn here is a must!

Yelp
I really like having a short walk down here on Sundays. The fruits I get here are always of great quality (taste and freshness). The only thing I wish is that they had more sellers/stands/vendors. There's only one consistent spot to buy vegetables and there's isn't too much of a variety. So - why the 4 stars? I love the live music in Valencia Park and whatever shows may be happening there when I'm at the farmers' market. The overall experience is quite lovely and enjoyable.

Yelp
Pretty disappointing for a farmers market, I never saw an actual farmer here. If weather is good - which it ususally is - you might be able to listen to a live band while you pick out something to munch. I think this farmers market is more of a reason to get out and stroll, maybe buy some veggies that are a little more fresh than what you get in the supermarket. Worth stopping by if you have nothing to do on Sunday - but please don't make a special trip!

Yelp
I really don't get the point of SROW, even having this. It's actually a waste of space on Sunday's because cars are trying to get through shortcuts to the garage but can't. The market is literally a size of a sidewalk LOL. There's nothing appealing here but the cake pops I guess. There's restaurants everywhere around so I don't get the point why having some food stands. I don't know, this market needs to move out of the way personally I think. I love SROW but this is killing it haha

Yelp
Whenever I happen to come to Santana Row on a Sunday afternoon I always have to walk through the farmer's market, yet to be honest, I've never actually purchased anything (and yearn to!). This isn't your traditional farmers market - there are maybe 20 stalls and most of them are carrying the same items, same kinds of fruits, veggies, etc. There's a guy that sells bread, one that sells organic dog treats, someone selling plants and orchids, another selling pastries and desserts, etc. Some times there are cooking demos and free tastings put on by Sur La Table. Bottom line, this isn't your traditional farmer's market (I've definitely experienced better) so I wouldn't recommend making the trip (and battling parking) to come here, but would definitely recommend checking it out if you're already at Santana Row.

Yelp
What a disappointment. You know it's nice to have things such as baked goods, a variety of ethnic foods, kettle corn, homemade candy, homemade soap, and fresh cut flowers, but not to the point where these things represents about 75% of the booths there and you're left saying, ok where's the produce? This is a FARMER'S Market. Also being on Santana Row, not sure if it was me, but had the feeling the prices for produce here was much higher than at other Farmer's Market. Place was crowded and the selection was poor compared to other Farmer's Markets I've been to. If you're into the other stuff than buying produce, then yes this is a good choice because they offer plenty of other things than produce. If you're looking for produce, go elsewhere. Not only do you have a smaller selection of produce to choose from than other Farmer's Market, but you also have to deal with Santana Row Parking and Prices that seem higher than other Farmer's Markets.

Yelp
New Location - Piazza di Valencia - between Olin Avenue and Tatum Lane (in front of Rosie McCann's) Hour - Sunday 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Year-round I'm addicted!!! Every since discovering the Bolani (traditional handmade Afghani filled flat-bread stuffed with spinach, pumpkin, potato, or lentil) last week, I HAD to go and get more this week! These bolanis are such a treat, not to mention - low carb, and low in calories. They also offer varies dips (Sweet Jalapeno & Sweet and Sour Carrots) and spreads (Basil Pesto, Cilantro Pesto, Eggplant Pesto, Lentil Curry, Garlic Mint Cheese, Sun dried Tomato Hummus, Hummus, Sun Dried Tomato Pesto) to go with the bolani. The guy working at the stand is very friendly and will offer different combinations of spread/dip for sample. After getting the bolanis & dips, I ran out of cash. But, like other farmer's market - there are also fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, pastries, breads, dried fruits, roasted nuts, olive oils, honey, flowers stands, fresh seafoods, etc. On a sunny Sunday morning, make it a relaxing day at Santana Row. Get some goodies at the market and enjoy them on the lawn; then do some shopping at Santana Row!! Worth checking out!

Yelp
This was an okay experience for me. I don't know if it's because it was small or just the fact that knowing Santana Row? Really? The sweetie and I made quick stops to sample some Macaroons and Bean Pies. We did however leave the market with some honey straws 4 for $1 and medium sized carrot pie for $4 that tasted like pumpkin pie without the spices! Considering the sweetie hates carrots, I was amazed and happy that she enjoyed it. We might give it another shot next time but it's not that worth it. Selection and prices kinda sucked.

Yelp
Pleasant Sunday trip. We finally made a visit to Santana Row's Farmer's Market. After living in the area for a few years, we finally made it and we weren't disappointed. The selection at this particular farmer's market is nice. On this particular day and visit, they had at least 5 stands selling fruit--cherries, raspberries, strawberries, apricots, plums, etc. A couple of stands had vegetables--string beans, bok choy, etc. I loved this visit because they also had sweets--beer cupcakes (which were delicious, by the way), homemade almond toffee, chocolate macaroons, and much more. Every stand we passed allowed you to sample their product, which was awesome. Not all stands at the Japantown Farmer's Market, that we visited a few weeks ago, let us try their products. Because there were so many fruit stands, we got to choose from a huge selection of cherries. If you don't like the cherries at one stand, visit the next. The stands also offer competitive prices because there were so many. If you get to Santana Row for the Farmer's Market early, you can get great parking and spend the rest of the afternoon shopping the row while its still early. We'll definitely continue to make return trips here and hope that the same vendors will be there because we were that satisfied with the service and the products. :D

Yelp
My Fiance and I ventured here on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We thought, nice weather, a leisurely stroll around Santana Row, and fresh produce, flowers, and vendors would make a great Sunday mid morning. Oh man were we disappointed. We arrived around 1pm (supposedly the market closes at 3pm) and there were about 5 vendors total. It was completely disappointing! For some reason, I thought it was a bigger farmers market than that! If you want something more substantial, I suggest the Saturday morning market at West Valley college or Friday morning at Vallco or even Saturday at Mtn View.
