Google
wonderful shopping and dining experience here. perfect for a date and meeting up with old friends. The place feels a bit European style, but the food options are very diverse.

Google
Outdoor shopping area with high end luxury brands. Lovely walking area during the day and at night. Looks pretty in the evening because of the lights. There are several fountains to check out if your into that. Really like the tree lined streets, wide sidewalks and how much of the areas is pedestrian traffic only.

Google
This place is an absolute vibe! Plenty of food options and live music is played most of the time. There is also a traditional mall right across from here and shopping is excellent. Overall, a very good place to kick back and relax.

Google
Santana Row is one of the few outdoor malls I like visiting. It is just that- a mall, but it feels a lot more humble and real than that. At least in looks, anyway. To me, it resembles a miniature downtown area, with walkable streets and cute decorations and landmarks. The best time to go is in the evening in my opinion, since it won’t be as hot or overwhelming as the afternoon. There are many great restaurants of all types on every block to eat at, and even more places to go shopping after. Though it can get quite expensive. Overall, 4/5.

Stylish and lively spot with great shops, restaurants, and a vibrant atmosphere. Perfect for a stroll, date night, or just people-watching. Always a good vibe.

Google
This was my first time in this area of town. Very nice, and I'll definitely come back again. Great shops and restaurants and many store options. I need to come back and spend it a couple of days here.

Google
An upscale and beautiful place to spend time with family and friends. Not really a shopping spot for me—it’s quite expensive—but it was perfect for enjoying quality time. We had lunch there and overall had a fun and relaxing experience.

Santana Row is the perfect mix of luxury and laid-back vibes. Beautiful outdoor setting, great restaurants, stylish shops, and a fun atmosphere day or night. Whether you’re grabbing coffee, shopping, or enjoying dinner with friends, it’s always a good time. A must-visit in San Jose!

Yelp
A beautiful mix use retail shopping area with dining options and things to do and see all within a small area. Lots of holiday lights throughout. Very clean and serene. Lots of parking and it's easy to get to from the airport. I dropped by immediately after landing and before a football game. I'll be back again to enjoy everything else this place has to offer.

Yelp
This review is specifically about the Winchester Parking Garage overnight experience. These past two nights, my partner and I stayed two nights at the Hotel Valencia where garage parking had always been covered as a hotel guest by placing a hotel card on our dashboard (from the previous 4x we've stayed). This is no longer the case, and not that much of a big deal except when I got back to our car, I noticed some liquid spill on the driver's side windshield, side mirror, and door. I was rushing to get out bc I had already paid for parking on the app so didn't take too much time to inspect what had happened. I used my windshield wiper/liquid to clear my vision and thought maybe someone had put a drink on my car temporarily and maybe it spilled --nbd. When I got home, I smelled something funky, and when I got close to the remaining dried liquid on my window, I realized it was urine. So this means, someone in the last two nights either threw at or poured urine on our car. It smelled terrible and the thought of it is still disgusting and disturbing. The parking garage thing was probably the most egregious thing that happened during our stay. This, in addition to other new money-grabbing policies/service from other Santana Row vendors, left a sour taste in our mouths. I'm pretty bummed about it because we've been doing this tradition since before the pandemic, and the space now just feels icky. Unless we have to, we will most likely not be returning anymore.

Yelp
I love walking around Santana Row and it has that awesome vibe that other Bay Area shopping centers try to recreate. I have been going to Santana Row pretty much ever since they have opened and it has evolved a lot. However, they keep on booting out some of my favorite retailers and those retailers end up moving across the street to Valley Fair. I know Santana Row wants to evolve but I shop less at Santana Row now and more at Valley Fair. Whenever they have the Christmas decorations up, it is quite beautiful walking around Santana Row. I love the events that happen there including the farmer's markets and other unique events. I can't wait to see what else will open at Santana Row in the future because it has changed a lot but I hope it's for the better. Some of my favorite places to eat at Santana Row include Pizza Antica, Urban Plates, Boba Guys, Mendocino Farms, Yard House and Dumpling Time. I also love the different murals and art around Santana Row which adds to the liveliness of the area. Whenever I have friends visiting from out of town, one of the places I love taking them to is Santana Row and they always enjoy it because of the vibe.

Yelp
A beautiful selection of women's holiday party and travel clothes. The stylists know how to dress you and answer any of your questions on what goes with what will flatter your body type Very helpful. Nice accessories too.

Yelp
Spent a lovely Saturday strolling through a festive Santana Row filled with holiday vibes and cheerful decorations. The Christmas tree was stunning, and the creative sculptures added a unique touch to the surroundings. After soaking in the holiday spirit, I headed to watch a couple of movies, which was a perfect way to unwind. I absolutely loved the frozen cocktail and indulged in a delightful half-bottle of Prosecco during the movie. The combination of great ambiance, delicious drinks, and entertaining films made it a great day.

Yelp
Holiday spirited Santana Row with an Artisan Fair going on this weekend. Elegant booths and goods add to the well maintained grounds. Beautiful day for a stroll. Live music.

Yelp
I don't know how to describe this other than it's like a smaller, more crowded worse version of Downtown Pasadena or more closely, the Americana. There are much higher scale and fancier restaurants and shops here. However there are still some familiar brands such as Best Buy and Starbucks (of course). Honestly, the only store I have any marginal interest is, is Maido, but since there are others in Bay Area and many of them have fused with the larger Kinokuniya, it's not that overly important that I go to the one here. I do like the chameleons they have in the "grassy outdoor seating area".

Yelp
Great spots to hang out with friends. Majority of the places are good for finger foods. There's different vibes all within the same area.

Yelp
Santana Row is better than death row, but after shopping here you will change your mind jk! Fancy spots, great food, shop til you drop. It's a must see when in San Fran.

Yelp
As a whole, Santana Row is very well maintained, has good security and is mostly, well managed. However they have one BIG issue with their property maintenance and it needs to be addressed for the safety of customers, vendors, delivery drivers and anyone on grounds. The first is I have gone there into the restaurant area on Olin Street in the morning when there were customers all over the area and they had a maintenance person spraying pesticides around where the customers were. There were absolutely no warning signs to let people know they were being exposed to toxic chemicals nor was there any interaction from the staff applying the chemicals. Processes like this should be done after hours when there are no humans or animals present. Pesticides can kill dogs and also harm human health for anyone, especially elderly and children or people with chemical allergies. Big thumbs down to the maintenance department for having sub standard practices when it comes to human safety. Second. I drove into the same area last Friday and had to make a U-turn to park in the delivery area. It is quite normal for people to step up onto curbs that are painted yellow and also that cars often brush the curb with their tires as these areas are tightly connected parking spaces and getting in and out can often be a challenge. My tire lightly brushed the curb when I was parking. When I got out of my car there was wet yellow paint on my tire and my rim. No where were there signs that the paint was wet or that the curb had just been painted. People were getting out of their cars stepping into the wet paint. This is again a huge neglect from the maintenance department to adequately notify customers of safety issues pertaining to chemicals and paint or any product that can cause damage to someone who is unsuspecting of such things. It is standard land maintenance protocol to put up signs or cones to let people know when there are hazardous situations. For a mall that is beautifully maintained, this is a big issue that needs to be addressed with the manager of maintenance. Someone is dropping the ball. My note on this: always be aware of your surroundings when you go there in the mornings. Always watch to be sure you are safe from hazardous situations.

Yelp
Santana Row is a nice shopping center that has tall buildings that you can find in high populated areas. I am also quite surprised that they have an apartment complex that makes residents feel more convenient in shopping here. It feels like a paradise coming here due to how aesthetic this shopping place is along with its nature. I have been coming here, but not really often though. I noticed that they continue to expand this place. It was much smaller the last time I visit here, but now they have another section where the movie theater is located at. I am also impressed that Best Buy and Crates & Barrels have been there the longest. I also like the restaurants and shops here too. Coming here gives it a good vibe especially when you're around with friends and family. It is also a good place to host big events. I think I heard that they are hosting a free event about yoga, but I ain't flexible haha They have a few free huge parking garages, but I recommend you come here before the afternoon because it usually gets crowded making parking here difficult.

Yelp
Don't come here expecting to park, it's paid through phone and all these dummies can't understand how to pay and you will end up sitting over a half an hour trying to leave as the fees add up.
google avatar

Yelp
I love coming here when I'm in the area today is another beautiful day in San Jose! They're doing construction, but there's enough shopping to keep me occupied for a few hours. my favorite part is coming to Burke. Williams!

Yelp
An upscale outdoor entertainment and shopping oasis that features various residences, hotels, shops, bars, eateries, personal care services, live music, weekly and seasonal events, a movie theater, and more... there's plenty to keep you busy at Santana Row. Businesses here have come and gone over the years, but there are always enough options to fit diverse needs and preferences. Restaurants are more on the fancy side, but they do have more casual eateries like Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and this past weekend I got to enjoy some good eats at Urban Plates as well as delicious sweet treats from the  Smitten Ice Cream stand. My recommendations for some of the best spots at SR are Zazil Cocina Mexicana, super delicious mexican cuisine in an inviting setting, Vbar rooftop bar at Hotel Valencia, absolutely gorgeous indoor and outdoor space for enjoying cocktails and good company, and Vintage Wine Bar, nice laid back ambience and awesome array of menu options. Also love the Container Store (yup, it has more cool items than you'd think), the carefree vibe when enjoying outdoor brunch with live music, special events throughout the year (usually posted on their website), and the movie theater updated and conveniently located for catching a flick before or after doing a little shopping or drinking on the row. Fancy and expensive apartment living is available too, yes I've toured the homes, and I do like the wine coolers on top level units, but not the leasing office management lacking in communication skills. SR currently has snow showers on Tuesdays and Saturday evenings in December, every 30 minutes 6-8pm in Park Valencia, along with Christmas music in different parts of the plaza, nothing too amazing but still a fun little feature and enough to put you in the holiday spirit. Overall, a clean and classy environment, decorated beautifully during the holidays with endless string lights that enliven the atmosphere and captivate crowds. Free parking available in several different garages on site add to the convenience. Despite not being the most exciting destination, Santana Row still has a lot of positives and is probably one of the best places in SJ to take friends and family visiting from out of town.
google avatar

Jay R.

Yelp
Pretty nice place to go out. They usually have an event or something special happening towards the end with the movie theatre. The shops are pretty pricey, both retail and food. Haven't had issues with parking. Loving the holiday lights!

Yelp
After arriving at the Winchester Mystery House for the Menagerie art popup market, I noticed Santana Row across the street. I've never been to there and made a point to check it out afterwards. We walked across to Santana Row around 6:30pm and noticed how busy and vibrant it was. Santana Row is a premier destination for shopping and dining with a boutique hotel, movie theater, business offices and residences. There are many boutique shops and some well know retailers such as Williams Sonoma, Yeti, and lulu lemon. The restaurants were busy with diners. Since it was the holidays, many people were taking pictures with the Xmas tree and lighted decorations. There are parts of the mall that are pedestrian only. When you reach the end of the mall, Westfield Mall is across the street. You can continue shopping over there. I'm glad I finally was able to visit Santana Row. Since I was only able to spend a limited amount of time during this visit, I'll be back again to fully experience the area.

Yelp
Gorgeous outdoor mixed retail space in San Jose. Lots of high end stores like Le Labo, Tesla and workout chains like Solid Core. There's a plethora of choices here from juice bars to coffee shops. Think Starbucks and Peet's Coffee and Pressed Juice. The architecture is a mix of modern with a hint of Spanish. Tons to do in the area- I was here for a quick tour to head somewhere else for lunch. Every storefront was friendly and let you pop in to use their facilities.

Khanh V.

Yelp
Parking is a huge issue here. Sometimes it will take an hour just to get out of their parking lot. No traffic control what so ever. Dangerous!

Nick A.

Yelp
Another very long line to exit the parking lot. Bad mall management trying to collect $2 parking fee. Average 40 minutes to get out of the parking structure.
google avatar

Michelle J.

Yelp
They have so many retail offerings and great food options. This place is absolutely lovely! We shopped. We dined and there was a mall right across the street! There is a little bit of everything for everyone. I highly recommend it. So lovely!
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
So much has changed since the last time I've been here which is probably about 10 years ago! It's a one stop shop outdoor mall and a wonderful outing. They have live music too. Pleasant and convenient place to be. Highly recommend for any occasion.
google avatar

Belinda Y.

Yelp
This is a picture from last night! The streets of San Jose are so beautiful,推荐大家可以来这里拍照 靠近 Westfield Valley Fair的Santana Row
google avatar

Connie M.

Yelp
Nice outdoor mall to come and hang out with friends or family, there's a little bit of everything for everyone. There's shopping, Tesla, lots of restaurants to choose from, ice cream, coffee, a Brazilian steak place, Italian, sushi, Mexican, legit everything you could want. Prices can be high but you pay for the ambiance more than anything and it's a family friendly place to walk around and explore. I enjoy it during the holidays when they deck the mall out in ornaments and lights. I don't shop here because it's expensive but it is nice to window shop!
google avatar

Chadie G.

Yelp
High end shopping competed here. Picture perfect location. Dog friendly and great place to get shopping, good eats whether savory or sweet you will find it at the Row. Come during happy hour you can drink at their outdoor bar. The selection of stores are great for all ages. Come during the Holidays for the Christmas decorations!!
google avatar

Gin P.

Yelp
I have 1000.00 gift card and hardly any of the stores here take it. This is ridiculous, why sell gift cards and they're almost useless?
google avatar

Savannah R.

Yelp
I love taking a stroll through Santana Row. It's beyond gorgeous, especially during the holiday season. There are a bunch of beautiful decorations and wonderful lights that give me such a festive feeling. SR is a great place for taking photos and videos. Not only that, I enjoy how there are a plethora of different businesses. There are so many restaurants and various stores to choose from! I recommend coming to Santana Row, whether it's for shopping, eating a great restaurant or even walking around to enjoy the vibes.
google avatar

Amina S.

Yelp
Great spot with fun shops, food and place for little ones and adults! Def. check this place out. Valley Fair Mall is across the street in case you want a selection of additional stores and dinning near by. Parking can get annoying. There's a farmers market sometimes in the summer and also a cinema!
google avatar

Kristin L.

Yelp
Lovely shopping district with plenty of eateries too. High end stores more so, but some like HM. Traffic and parking can be annoying but at least it's free and several different garages. It's always buzzing here, and they do a lot of events. Check out the Christmas decor!!
google avatar

Leo L.

Yelp
Union square SF used to be my shopping spot. However, since the SF city decided that they need to protect criminals more than the residents and visitors, I stopped visiting unless I absolutely have to. Santana Row and the Westfield across the street have almost all the stores and brands in Union Square minus Chanel and Hermes. The safety and overall atmosphere here are just incomparable to the city. I no longer need to worry about getting pistol whipped and my watch robbed, or getting screamed at by random homeless people, or constantly watching my steps to avoid human feces... The parking is convenient and safe. There are numerous restaurants and coffee shops when I feel hungry or need refreshments. Everyone here are friendly and happy. Almost all the stores are dog friendly. I absolutely love here.
google avatar

Chanel L.

Yelp
They are going to start charging for parking. I go weekly to dine out and shop. But I'll take my money else where. This corp is getting greedy and charging for parking. Good luck to all the businesses since this move will repel people.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
Omg we love this place such a awesome time so many things to do so many good places to eat I can't wait to come back
google avatar

Yelp
Can never go wrong on the Row located in San Jose Ca. Plenty of shops and restaurants with plenty of parking. After all that shopping and eating you may find yourself in need of a caffeine fix there is options there as well with a few coffee shops to safice your fix.
google avatar

Bindi S.

Yelp
Whats not to like about Santana Row? It resembles the open air squares if Europe with plenty of eating and shopping options. I love their Christmas tree and decor during Dec. Summers they gave live bands on Olin Ave which is the more kid friendly area of Santana.
google avatar

Wendy H.

Yelp
Beautiful outdoor mall with a lot of stores. They have a farmers market on Thursday afternoons. I enjoyed browsing through the stores. The mall is clean. My only complaint is there is only one electronic directory near Straits Cafe. That's the directory everyone uses. We literally have to wait in line to use the directory. They should install another one. The directory is interactive. So it shows you were a particular store is located.
google avatar

Tony C.

Yelp
A beautiful stretch of shops located right in the middle of busy Steven's creek. The row has everything you need, from shopping to dining, and the possibly the loveliest blue bottle coffee location this side of the pacific. This is also a wonderful place for a stroll, just enjoying the ambiance. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by.
google avatar

Amy T.

Yelp
This place is so much fun!! I was lucky my friend knew where to park so that we could go up and down from the very top to the very bottom. Lots of things to look at and shop for. Great area for getting a tea or a drink and pastry and doing some people pondering. It felt clean and safe. The decorations were beautiful.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Santana Row is absolutely beautiful this time of year during the Holiday Season. If you are in the mood for a Festive evening out on the town. Definitely check out the Row!
google avatar

Hai N.

Yelp
High end stores and fancy restaurants to cater to your personal desires. Good place to take family friends and yourself to a nice venue or two. If your get bored there's always west field shopping mall directed across the street. Parking here can be extremely tedious on weekends

Fatemeh R.

Yelp
It's a great place to spend your evening there while enjoying shopping and dining with friends and family.
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Beautiful place. Great shops and restaurants. Parking is abysmal. Took 50 minutes to get out of garage. Will not go back. Too hard to get in and out.
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
Last time I was at Santana Row was back in 2019 before Covid and I can say the closing of the street and adding much more outdoor seating has definitely paid off! Amenities: Visible security patrolling up and down this street which provides a sense of safety and security. Which is always a nice thing. Lots of outdoor tables and benches to sit at to enjoy a meal from local restaurants. Public Bathrooms are hidden, but easily accessible in the building in the middle of Santana Row. Overall: The expanded outdoor seating and tables put out has definitely been a great addition to Santana Row making outdoor eating more accessible to anyone and providing safety as well.

Brian J.

Yelp
I wrote the management about our experience being stuck in the Winchester Blvd garage for 40 minutes, and I get a prompt reply apologizing and explaining. They admitted that the garage was poorly designed but have very little they can do at this point to fix its choke points. However, they are removing the payment system until they can make it faster.

Yelp
I love coming to Santana Row. This place holds a lot of memories - from the time they opened many many years ago where my husband (then boyfriend) and I would go on many dates, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, even bringing our first baby here a few days after giving birth (pre-Covid), Kid's Club, Tree Lighting, Lunar New Year, Spring and other holiday activities, catching up with friends and family and a lot more. There lots of shops and restaurants in different varieties from fast fashion (H&M) to luxury (Gucci) and casual eateries to a steakhouse. My go-to spa is here as well, Burke Williams. Parking is vastly available in different areas. Free to park. Lots of places to sit outside to people watch and/or enjoy your Blue Bottle Coffee or Smitten Ice Cream cone. There are public restrooms and usually they are well cleaned. This is new and super appreciative especially with 2 little ones - there is now a Family Foyer lounge area close to where the concierge is. It's a well-lit room with a huge flat screen showing kids show (Disney Channel was on when we went), it has a couple of family rooms inside that can be closed and each room has a sink, changing table and comfy chair for nursing or just to hold your little one. There is an all gender bathroom as well and a microwave as well. Lots of places for photo-ops and walking distance to Valley Fair Mall.
google avatar

Eva G.

Yelp
This place is beautiful during the holidays. A lot of dining places to choose from and lots of shopping. Some of the restaurants you may want to make reservations ahead of time. Example: Yard House was a 45 minute wait! This visit there was plenty of parking and just an overall beautiful reminder of holiday cheer!!

Shivangi T.

Yelp
I love how lively this place is, it has a great vibe specially in evenings! There are great businesses like mando, h&m, nike, lulu lemon and good eating places here too like Mendocino farms still have to try many of them. Westfield valley fair is walking distance from there so you can always go there and the parking is good!
google avatar

Huell B.

Yelp
Weekends in Cali. Great dinner then a rooftop drink. Everyone comes here for their personal photo shoot overlook the Row.

Baron R.

Yelp
At a time when malls are dying and online shopping provides a fast and efficient alternative to dealing with the hassles of malls, what does the Santana Row management decide to do, charge for parking. Really, you want me to pay for the privilege of shopping at your mall and strolling the grounds. I do not want to watch the clock to not exceed the free 2 hours. I want to relax and enjoy sitting at a restaurant and walking the grounds. What angers me even more is that you are charging the employees to park at their job! The greed here is disgusting.
