Sante Wine Bar & Bistro

First time here and we had really great service! I tried the grilled cheese with tomato soup and it was good while my friends ordered a goat cheese spread and the hummus spread. All of the food was tasty with sourdough bread.

Review for the new business, Sante: We miss the option to purchase 4 wine samples. They no longer have this. It was a great way to try new wines and made Uncorked wine bar really stand out among competitors. Also wish they kept the pizza on the menu. The menu is now very limited for food. Uncorked used to be our favorite spot in town and we miss the pizza, wine samples and turtle cheesecake. The food we had at Sante tasted like it had fresh ingredients which was good! Servers at Sante were very nice and the gentleman server was knowledgeable about wines. The ambiance of the restaurant feels less-romantic than it used to. Did not try the creative cocktails, however this is a unique offering that you don't find much in the area. Review for Uncorked (the previous wine bar that was here): About $15 for 4 half glass wine samples. Pizza and dessert was great! Received food quickly. Nice, quiet and relaxing atmosphere with lights dimly lit. Good for date night.

Love that I can describe an earthy red with a little smoky flavor and they can make a great recommendation each time. The appetizers were delicious! I was craving a burrata since the last time I traveled and this was very good. The goat cheese compliment led it with the right sweetness to the savory.

We had a great evening on Saturday night - no wait for a table even at 7PM! We both had the Cab and shared a few plates (charcuterie & cheese, sprouts and meatballs). Good vibes and service.

Burrata was spectacular! The pickled pears and beets really set it off. Other small plates were delicious! My friends enjoyed the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I thought the charcuterie board was a bit pricey for what was presented. The non-alcoholic wine selection was a nice treat! Great chill atmosphere which is a nice counterbalance to someplace like Green's at the other end of the block.

Santé is one of, if not, the best bistro/bar in the entire Fox Cities! From their fantastic and flavorful dishes to a vast selection of wine, there is something here for all! I recommend stopping for their mixed drinks, especially their Espresso Martini, as they are well thought out and bursting with unique flavors! A must stop for locals and visitors alike! Also, the service is fantastic and the staff is fun and friendly!

Everything was great. Service was great and we were well taken care of the entire time. Or food was very fresh and very reasonably priced for the portions given. I recommend the goat cheese spread and butter chicken.

I would have rated it five stars but they ran out of the wine we liked after we had a couple of glasses. The appetizers were excellent and the service was great. We will be back!

Nice little wine and cocktail bar in Neenah. Ambiance was nice and our waitress was kind and attentive. The menu has a list of classic and special cocktails, which I think are unique to Santé. I do wish they had a few more options listed but I'm sure if I had asked for something specific they would have made it. I had a Last Word and enjoyed it. There are small plates you can order, but I think they stop doing that later in the evening.

Nice spot near the hotel with a nice selection of wines. I tried. A few of the plates and enjoyed the Burrata.

Nice place - very good selection of wines This is the second iteration of this place. Now own by a real nice guy - but his pricing has gotten way out of control. Likely a strategic move - many of the regulars are 5th generation trust fund babies of Neenah. Highly pretentious open marriage yoga Moms. So if you want to drop a couple hundred dollars on a bottle of wine, be insulted by some pre-AARP members and get lucky - this place is for you! It's like the Villages - without the golf carts.

Amazing wine and food. Great cozy atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Ownership is down to earth and present within the business. Wine snobs will appreciate the selection, "new to wine" people will find a lot of great things to try and be welcomed in a non-pretentious environment. Never had less than a stellar experience!

Beautiful atmosphere. Of course the wine is amazing, the staff is knowledgeable and attentive, but to have a gorgeous ambience on top of it all is just a plus when going out to enjoy a few hours with friends.

I loved it here! So cute and such a vibe inside. Sometimes I hate coming to "fancier" places because of snobby staff expecting you to know everything and fit their aesthetic. However, I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff was and welcoming. Perfectly explained the cocktail menu, which was super helpful because they aren't your everyday cocktails or everyday ingredients you'd get at most bars/restaurants. I tried 3 drinks I've never had before and I was so happy with all of them. I can't wait to come back!

New owners. Matt helped us. New name. Ignore the prior reviews, I am super picky (not a a ton of reviews because we only reviews places that we rate 4+) . Outstanding adult beverages and amazing wine selection. The new owners is friendly and knowledgeable. Prior reviews reflect a place that had Totinos pizza rolls, which is no longer the case. Look at the new drink menu, amazing standing cocktails. You need to make this place a must stop.

With the new owners, my husband and I have added Santé to our regular restaurant rotation. It has never disappointed. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful. The drinks are fantastic. I love sparkling wine, and here I have a choice of several by the glass. But the other night I passed up my bubbles, and stole my husband's cocktail. His sidecar was heaven. He loves to order whatever he hasn't had before, and the menu rotates, so he always has a chance to try new things, both drinks and food. I'm the opposite, once I find something I like, I stick with it. Fortunately, my favorites have remained on the menu, and I look forward to the excellent grilled cheese and very fresh-tasting tomato soup. The last time we were there we topped off the meal with a new chocolate dessert. Yum!

Such a great find!! Intimate, cozy wine bar with awesome shareable plates/tapas!! Larger plates are also available. The deviled eggs were amazing!! I think I got every mustard seed off my plate. I'd have liked a little dressing on the greens (I'd have eaten every bite then!) but it didn't detract from the dish. The tapenade was good, nothing exceptional, but tasty! The apple brie toast....ok, I kinda licked the plate. But the jalapeno honey is delish!! As a non-drinker, I was happy to see NA drink options other than just water or soda. The ginger leaf drink was delicious! It was perfect for a quick, light dinner before a night at the PAC. I highly recommend!!

In town on business and found this place one block from my hotel. Beautiful decor, lots of space with a long bar. Wine choices are terrific -- you can tell they enjoy finding unique wines. Food that I have had so far is the mama Mia capria pitta pizza. Very fresh. I'll keep coming back.

Poor service. We came into the wine bar around when it opened yesterday and we were not greeted upon arriving. The lady helping us clearly was in a bad mood and did not want to be there. She gave us a few snotty remarks and was not pleasant. We chose to leave after a drink and will most likely not return. Other than the poor service they had a good beer and wine selection (that was discovered by us, no suggestions were made).

Feeding off of some of the bad reviews. It was a little slow to get service at first. This might have to do with us sitting ourselves. After that our server Derrick was on point. We order two martinis and a pizza. The martinis was great and well presented. I would order the Dreamsicle and the Ultimate Cosmo again. The pampered piggy pizza was awesome and much better then I would have thought. Don't forget to squeeze the lemon on it. That's what really set it off. There was also live music which was great. I will definitely be back. Thanks Derrick for the awesome service and smile.

Fabulous! Great wine selection with comfortable seating. Walked across the street from a dinner at Cannova's to visit with friends.

They have a large selection of wine and I think they have some finger food, although I never ordered any. The atmosphere is very classy and the owner is very friendly. Great place to go before or after having dinner.

We love going here and tasting new wines, snacking on their delicious, hot hors de ourves, and having some quiet, romantic time together. Bartenders have always been friendly and courteous, ambiance is casual but chic. We havent been here for any live music but it's on our to-do list!

Really poor service. We were never greeted although there were only a few patrons at the bar. Finally, after sitting for 10 minutes, a wine menu was tossed at us, still without a hello. My questions about the tap list seemed to be an inconvenience for the young male bartender who was more preoccupied with munching on the leftovers from the apps he was preparing than engaging his guests. Had we been approached at all, we would have ordered apps and a second round, but thought better of it. Will not go back although we liked the concept and decor.

I was in town from Miami on business and went to Uncorked. It was superb. I've been to wine bars in NYC, Miami, San Francisco and more. Uncorked is the best one yet! Great wine. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great prices. Great people. It's a must go location.

Tapas is a bit of a stretch to describe the menu here. Basically, the menu at Uncorked can all be prepared in a toaster oven. And there's cheese. The things they do offer are tasty, though! And of course, the atmosphere (and the wine) help things quite a bit. Service is prompt.

I'm at uncorked listening to live music by jones. This is quickly becoming my new Saturday hang out..live music good drinks and live music yup I'm there.

Awesome place!! Instead of doing the wine flights by varietal, they do it by category such as spicy reds, earthy reds, sweet whites, aromatic whites, and more!!! The apps are great, and the owners are fabulous hosts. Can't say enough about this place. They even have tasting events throughout the month. Enjoy!!!!!

Second time visiting this wine bar as I travel here occasionally. As mentioned in other reviews the atmosphere is wonderful and wine selection is good. Though as a person from the NW I would like to see more wines from those regions. Service was prompt but similar to my last visit they were not that friendly. I really did not get the impression they wanted me there.....As I mentioned it was my second time here and both times I felt that I was interrupting them somehow? Again nice place but I will not be returning..........

LOVED it!! Was up visiting my friend's family lake house and went out for a girls wine night. :) The wine I selected was fantastic! Have wanted it almost every day since and need to find a place around me that sells it, stat! Ordered two appetizers and they did not disappoint! They make them to order in a little make shift kitchen area with a lot of fresh ingredients (awesome!). Smelled like a toaster or convection oven was doing the work but I have to tell you it did not disappoint!! Goat cheese crostini with fresh lemon and parmesan was superb!! Will try it in my own toaster oven!! Pita pizza with pesto, fresh tomato, cheese and salami - also very good! Ingredients were fresh and tasty. But nothing was going to live up to the goat cheese crostini! Loved the atmosphere, the wine and the small bites!! Can't wait to go back!

Wine.... who can complain. We enjoy going after work for wind down on the bad days. The blue cheese crustinis are to-die-for! The cost is okay during happy hour, but they rarely have a dry wine as one of the options. The service is slow and sparse, so go with some patience. There are usually 2-3 people working and they are not especially friendly. That being said, the wine and the hors d'oeuvres are delicious. Just bring your own company for enjoyment.

Great place to go and socialize but make sure you do it early and have plans for later. Beautiful restaurant, Great wine selection, good appetizers, but will never stay in business if they keep kicking out paying customers at midnight on the weekends.

Great, cozy spot for a date night! The appetizers are beautifully presented and delicious! The wine selection is fantastic. However, the service is pretty slow and not very personalized. We had three different people wait on us and it was awhile in between before anyone came to check on us. Also I do not recommend the gourmet chocolate, it is not well presented and definitely not gourmet..

Wine and food are good; I think. But the owner should consider distancing herself from pretentious people speaking poorly of neighboring communities. This dude was walking behind the bar as if he owned the place. He did so at a volume that it ruined my night. No need to be so pretentious. And the establishment is emulating this attitude. Too bad. On top of that, haven't seen a server in a half hour.

Great wine flights, and great attentive and friendly service. They love to talk about wine... or anything you wanna chat about. The snacks are good, and a perfect complement to a glass (or three) of wine at the bar. The selection of wines by the bottle for purchase is small but eclectic and well curated. Definitely the place to chill and converse with friends, and I've added it to my regular "go to" list in downtown Neenah. Plus, you gotta love the vintage pharmacy sign (salvaged from the building's previous incarnation) that they use to list specials.

Stopped in just before dinner to have a glass of wine. The atmosphere was nice, great selection, wait staff was fine but price was quite high in my experience and I don't mind paying for good wine. We didn't eat so I can't rate the food and I'm not sure I'd go back given I could buy two bottles of the Malbec we enjoyed for the price we were charged for two glasses. I prefer Red and White in Appleton (no, I don't work for them) or just having great wine with a meal at Carmella's or the Wild Truffle.
