The 19 Best Bakeries In Rome - Rome - The Infatuation

"The smell of freshly ground espresso and baked bread hits you first when you step into Santi Sebastiano E Valentino, a spacious bakery in Salario. We love sitting at the long marble communal table in the back during winter, or enjoying the front patio when warm weather hits. There are plenty of great choices, including the flaky Danish dotted with tiny dark chocolate chips and the bomba—a yeasty roll filled with pastry cream, topped with even more cream and a dusting of powdered sugar. Then there’s the zesty lemon-poppy apple muffin that’s so rich and flavorful, you’ll swear the baker is lying about it being dairy-free." - annie replogle

Mamma mia, che buono!!! Quiet back street, in a quiet neighborhood, delicious bakery. We came for breakfast and plan to return often!

This is a gem of a bakery. The sandwiches are excellent. Toasted to perfection. The pastries are just too good.

We came based on a recommendation of our tour guide from our visit to the Vatican. She said she and her husband come often. We can see why. Very friendly. The waiter explained the menu for us. The wine they suggested was outstanding as was the food. We are sending this place to all of our friends planning a visit.

Nice - easygoing ambiance, decent service and great food. I had the octopus and the cicoria, loved both of them

I live in Rome for 2 year now and for me this is the best bread i had so far in Rome! Started with a focaccia and two pizza, sone sea bass chicken, octopus and the highlight of our night was the pull pork bun 😲😲 it was to die for! Not a huge fan of the sweets very basic. Highly recommended for morning coffee and pastries in the morning ❤️ A bit pricey !
