Delicious food all made in house with fresh ingredients. Salads are included when you walk in the door. Bread is made to order and so GOOD! Dressings were fresh and tasty! Service was on point and they are willing to make whatever you want, even if not on the menu. (Mind you it was not too busy when we were there) Give this place a try. You won’t regret it!

Google
Owner is very nice and the garlic bread is pretty good, just wait for it to cool down. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and it took about 10-15 minutes to arrive. The noodles were cooked well and the alfredo wasn't too bad. Good service, would come again if I ever get the opportunity.

Google
For the price not bad. Pizza was 3/5, had a slice of pepperoni and veggies & a Margherita slice. I ordered bolognese pasta, and they gave me like vodka pasta or something 2/5. Tiramisu, as an Italian, it did not taste much like tiramisu. But whatever it is, it was a solid dessert 4/5 .

Google
I’m not sure what happened to this place. I ordered delivery from here when they first opened and it was incredible. I’m sick and was really craving delicious pasta… sad to say I am extremely disappointed. I got the vegetables primavera (which I got last time and LOVED) and not only are the vegetables barely cooked, the chicken smells bad, the sauce is very watery and flavorless, and I ordered angel hair noodles, but got undercooked penne :(… my boyfriend got the chicken marsala with tortellini and the tortellini is overcooked and his sauce is also super watery and does not take like marsala… unfortunately, I would not recommend. It was a $50 order, so an expensive mistake. (gave 5 stars for service and atmosphere, because I’ve never actually been inside the establishment, but seems people enjoy it)

My fiancé and I tried there today and I must say I haven’t had fresh Italian cooking in a long time and the young man that served us I hope we have him again. We will return soon

Google
Great spot for dinner! Parking is challenging so be prepared to walk. Very small inside so plan accordingly for your visit as to not miss out on the delicious food! We ate around 530 on a rainy Saturday and this hit the spot. I could tell this place was popular given the constant stream of meal delivery folks coming in for orders. Non stop! Our dishes were sensational and the service quick. The bread was fresh and the tomatoes were divine.

Google
Just left eating dinner here and the food was outstanding. Big portions, great prices, & unreal quality! The only downside is from the outside it looks run down & not really a dining atmosphere. That is the single downfall. But the server was friendly the food was fantastic and we’ll be getting food from here again 100%! Next time may just be DoorDash/Uber Eats though.

Google
Grabbed a pepperoni and pepperoncini pizza and it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely reorder. 🍕

Yelp
The best customer service ever, coolest owner ever... the workers are great and they deserve more customers

Yelp
Dining at Santino Restaurant was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, setting the tone for an exceptional evening. The ambiance was stunning--clean, elegant, and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a meal. I started with a classic bruschetta, bursting with fresh tomatoes and basil, followed by a perfectly cooked plate of fettuccine Alfredo. The rich, creamy sauce was balanced beautifully with the homemade pasta. Every bite reflected authentic Italian flavors. The service was top-notch a decadent tiramisu--I was already planning my next visit. Santino isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience that combines delicious Italian cuisine, a beautiful setting, and impeccable service.

Yelp
We tried this spot via delivery from Uber Eats. I ordered the tortellini tre sauces and added blackened chicken and fresh mozzarella. My bf ordered ravioli with added meatballs. The order arrived quickly and the food was still nice and warm. My bf enjoyed the ravioli and the meatballs. I tasted some of his meatball and it was good. I liked my tortellini. The blend of sauces was good. I also was happy with the added chicken. I wouldn't bother with the added mozzarella again because there wasn't much added in my opinion. Overall this was a solid spot and I'd try it again.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Simply tasty. I was served by a young kid who did an amazing job. Very cozy and a homey environment.

Yelp
This one is a disappointment. I was really excited to try their food because I walked past them almost every day walk in my dog in downtown Fed Hill. Was in the mood for a really creamy and rich fettuccine pasta so I wanted to take the time to try them out. I kept it simple because I was trying them for the first time. Did a pick up order on DoorDash. I did The creamy Alfredo pasta with grilled chicken. The sauce was actually really good in flavorful, but it was hard to taste because all I could taste was the burnt chicken. The burnt chicken breast was so overwhelming. I got hardly finished the dish. It was just pieces of burnt chicken. I'm guessing maybe from the grill. It just tasted like burnt creamy Alfredo smh.

Yelp
Was greeted right away and seated. Took our order very promptly. Our salad and bread came out fast. The salad was very refreshing. I always judge a place by their sauce. I love sweet sauce. The spaghetti, lasagna and meatballs were very good.

Yelp
Ordered from Brendali previously and loved it. Placed an order through DoorDash tonight for their gnocchi ala sausage, paid $4.00 to add meatballs and selected the Caesar salad option included with the meal. My order arrived missing the sausage included in the dish, and the salad is a joke. Even for something included in the meal, it's literally less than a handful of romaine tossed into a to go container. Super disappointing for $30.

Yelp
Great restaurant in the heart of Federal Hill. We had the Chicken Marsala and the Chicken Parm. Both were good sized portions and delicious. Service was friendly and quick.

Shandra P.

Yelp
Good Alfredo, chicken was good as was the cheese steak and fries. It was all served quickly and with complimentary salads. We ate in, but they do a lot of carry out also.

Ella J.

Yelp
Great service and excellent food! We ordered the pizza and it came out hot and extra cheesy!

Yelp
Love love love Brendalli! It's one of my favorite small business owned Italian spots in Baltimore! Next to limoncello and Di Pasquale's of course. The service is phenomenal and the food is made with so much love. I met the chef and he was so kind to me and my partner. I would recommend background music or something to make the ambiance a little better but it's a small place and they were so busy with carry out orders. I don't want to hold it against them. Overall, I highly recommend this location!

Yelp
How can I ever thank you enough?! You made my son's birthday very special with the delicious entrees, salad and dessert. All arrived on time! He devoted the grilled salmon in vodka sauce and thought the Shrimp Diablo was outstanding. Your food exceeded expectations and was so reasonably priced. Will definitely be making your restaurant my first choice! Thank you again!!!

Yelp
If this review was based on the food alone. Brendali would receive 100% 5 stars. Pasta was incredible even the Caesar salad was one of the best I've had. The pizza was still good even later in the evening cold in our hotel room. Why I can't rate 5 stars revolves around the restaurant itself and the service. The dining room and wait staff does not meet level of the food. What presents in service and appearance as a pizza shop the level of quality of the food far surpasses both. That said, if I were a local. This place would be in my rotation for sure and without question I recommend to anyone visiting the area - just believe they are capable of a higher level of dining than they are offering.

Yelp
Very quiet and small low key place, but the food was great. My family and I are visiting Baltimore and we just stumbled upon this place because it's close to our resort and we are lucky we did. The service was fast we got our food within 10-15 minutes of ordering and after we sat down we got complimentary bread and butter that was fresh and warm. Each meal was delicious in its own way. Both the seafood plates (Orioles Seafood) and (Fettuccine Bianco) were made with fresh seafood and were enhanced by the seafood addition instead of overpowering it with a fishy taste. I ordered the Fettuccine Bianco, the sauce was incredible with the scallops and cooked to perfection. I wish this place could get more recognition because they deserve it! With such great size portions I didn't even have room for dessert, wish I could have tried the Cannolis!

Virginia W.

Yelp
The chicken cutlet Parmesan sub was awesome. Loved the food this weekend when we were in Baltimore. We will be ordering this the next time that we visit. It's really delicious. Thank You!!!!

Yelp
My best friend and I stopped at Brendali for a quick bite to eat before a show. I'm so happy we came here, our dish was incredible. My review is based off of their linguine with crab sauce. When we arrived, it was empty except for the folks stopping by to grab takeout. My friend told me the restaurant stays pretty empty until later in the evening when it's packed. The service was fine. Don't let the metal chairs and plastic table clothes fool you, from what I've been told the food is good here. We adored our pasta. I'm not a red sauce girl and this pasta made me a red sauce girl. The lumps of crab meat were divine and the little tomato bits were bites of heaven. Be sure to order this dish. I'd highly recommend eating at Brendali Italian Ristorante.

Yelp
food was amazing and i enjoyed very well i also had to eat a lot of food and i was so hungry and i was hungry and the food was excellent

Yelp
I was not very impressed with the Brendali's. I had ordered a side of fettuccine pasta, along with a cheese pizza, their Thai spicy calamari, and the tiramisu cake as a to-go order. As an Italian restaurant, I feel like the pasta should be above and beyond, however the side of fettuccine pasta that I got was bland and tasteless. It tasted like canned tomato sauce mixed in with the pasta. I had even asked for red pepper flakes at the side and they did not even provide me with that. The cheese pizza was incredibly greasy and the cheese did not taste very good. The Thai spicy calamari was not spicy, but had a good flavor however the calamari was a little chewy. The tiramisu cake was probably the best thing that I ordered, however it was a lot more cream than cake. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the food from Brendali's especially after reading all the good reviews that it received on Yelp.

Sarah K.

Yelp
Great food for good prices right in the heart of Fed. BYOB is a plus and so hard to come by nowadays. The atmosphere is plain but classic. Servers are always friendly and accommodating. Would recommend, especially for a large group!

Yelp
Not to be a "city-ist" but simply to call myself out for 15 years living in NYC making me have to fight the daily food snob struggle, I can't help but notch down my expectations when I'm traveling to most cities. Shame on me when it came to Brendali! They are serving up some quality goodness! Ordered the Pizza Supreme, Fettucine Bianco and sides of spinach and broccolli. FWIW, the only picture of the Pizza Supreme on Yelp is one the owner posted. So it was even more impressive when the pizza showed up picture perfect! Good flavor. Great balance of toppings. It tasted somewhere between Pizza Hut and brick oven pizza, and that's not a slam. I definitely enjoyed it. The Fettucine Bianco was great. Healthy amount of proteins which you could tell were perfectly cooked when when went into the container and didn't suffer too much in transit. Same with the sauce which mostly held up, and was delicious. I would've liked it a little thicker, but thinner worked well when it came to soppin' up the sauce with the tender dinner rolls they threw in! Plus the Old Bay seasoning was truly a hint, not overpowering in the least. The spinach...maybe it would have been better if they thoroughly drained the liquid. There was a lot of it. The overall flavor was strongly bitter. There could have been more garlic + S&P to help balance flavor. The broccoli, however, was great. Al dente, good bit of garlic, delicious. And it arrived piping hot in nearly half the time the delivery app projected! I'd definitely recommend.

Yelp
Brendali is a humble hole in the wall spot for Italian food. Seems like they focus more on carry out and delivery services since the place was empty when we came for dinner on a week night. We both liked the pastas we got. Tasted delicious and well executed no complaints. They even brought out some free bread and butter at the start for us to enjoy!

Yelp
This place doesn't miss. The Chicken Francese is one of my favorite dishes in Baltimore and always consistent. Fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken subbed in is a close second. Pizza is great. BBQ chicken my favorite but the fra diavolo great too. Garlic shrimp appetizer amazing. Like 10 shrimps in that b***h. They pack their takeout with plastic wrap around containers. Just going that extra mile is always appreciated. And on top of everything it's cheap for what it is and great portions. 11/10 value. I've never dined in lol but want to BMOB and take a date. Go here.

AJ F.

Yelp
I think I found my go to Italian spot. Had the Fettuccine Bianco, Crab Ravioli, and classic pizza with a side salad. All delish. The pizza was a bit salty and I'm more of a restaurant sauce girl. The pizza sauce was hard to taste with the salt overpowering some. Still got ate!

Steven S.

Yelp
So here's the thing. If you want excellent, and I mean, excellent Italian food in federal Hill go to them and check it out. I promise you, it's absolutely delicious food and the portions are great.
google avatar

Wyatt M.

Yelp
We had the Crab and Shrimp Anna, which was wonderful--plenty of everything in a delicious sauce, especially the crab. We asked for extra bread to sop up the sauce! Tiramisu was plenty to share, and in perfect ratios between the components. Very highly recommend both! The rustachella was nice, but unlike the tiramisu and pasta, I wouldn't feel compelled to order it again. The only negative was service--only one person to do the job of serving, hosting, and bussing, so everything was slow. Not a good choice if you're in a hurry. It was very quiet on a Tuesday night (though our neighbors did their best to keep the volume commensurate with a busy restaurant!).
google avatar

Yelp
The crab ravioli was really delicious. Big chunks of crab meat in the sauce. Exceeded my expectations.

Yelp
We had not dined in at Brendali's since the new owners took over and the pandemic ended. We were excited to see that they have made some renovations - new paint, comfy chairs and new tables. We had a 6:30 pm reservation for 8 people. They set the table right by the door and window. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived. A little later, a party of 8 and party of 3 came in. They have always done a robust and brisk carry out business, and this was obvious the entire time we were there. Denise was our server. She really had her hands full and she did a great job keeping all of our dinner orders straight and giving each couple their own check. We tried the following dinners: Fettuccine Bianco, Spaghetti Carbonata, 2 Chicken Diego, Lasagna, Shrimp Scampi and 2 Chicken Marsala. Everyone liked their dinners, except for the Lasagna which had no taste. We were happy to see that the restaurant is still a BYOB with no corkage fee - always a plus for our group.
google avatar

Mel B.

Yelp
Fav date night spot! BYOB with no cork/glass charge - WIN! All the meals are reasonably priced and DELISH! My husband ordered the Chicken Francese (one of his fav dishes) which comes with a side of penne pasta and red sauce. Such a fresh, flavorful dish! I went with the Tortellini Tre Salsa, which was also fantastic. Who wouldn't want tortellini with marinara, alfredo and pesto combo? The sauce is perfectly rich and you will literally want to lick it off of your plate. Service was fast and friendly. Bread was great. Ambiance is perfect for a cheap, fun date night! Cannot wait to go back!

Stephen C.

Yelp
Great local and unassuming place with authentic food and wide selection. Portions were just right ans ww left full. Would definitely go again.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been here a few years now, and better than ever! I still would put it up against anything in Little Italy. I've tried so many dishes at this point and they have all been stellar! I'll post a couple pics here from recent meals, one is take-out and one is eat-in. Also, don't miss the Bolognese - it might be the best I've ever had, and I've had a lot because it's one of my go-to's in any Italian place. Another favorite is the linguini with crab sauce - they somehow manage to make a tomato sauce that tastes great without bowling over the crab - just a perfect balance.
google avatar

NICAY L.

Yelp
Fettuccine Bianco was great!!...only thing was the sauce was yellow I'm use to white Alfredo sauce but, it still was good. They don't put enough seafood in the dish for the price. Garlic bread comes with most Italian dishes but they give you a roll!
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Great Italian food outside of Little Italy! The place is relatively small and a very lowkey place, but the pasta was great. Decent sized portions, and you get bread with butter for the table. The vodka sauce was good, and the wait staff was very nice!
google avatar

Yamini V.

Yelp
There are few things more beautiful than a creamy vodka sauce and Brendali delivers on all fronts! This is a classic hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant in the heart of Fed Hill with extremely reasonable prices and generous portions to say the least. I've been able to dine in before COVID as well as grab takeout, and was impressed by both experiences in quality of food and friendliness of the staff. Everything came packed extremely well plus a complimentary little bread roll. Eats: (4.5/5) Black and Blue rigatoni w/blackened chicken: If you're a fan of the tang of bleu cheese, this is definitely the dish for you. (4.5/5) Penne vodka w/blackened chicken: My go-to and was perfectly creamy with a good amount of chunky and tender chicken. (4.2/5) Crab ravioli: Lots of crab and extremely satisfying. tl;dr This is your staple italian place if you're looking for the best bang for your buck!

Yelp
Food was really good!!!! Bussin Making it 85 characters lol Idk what else to say but it was good

Yelp
My mom came into town to visit and was craving her favorite: Italian food! We ordered food from Brendali through Yelp. I've only ordered through Yelp once before so I was a little hesitant, but the service was stellar. The driver got a little lost and ended up dropping off the food in my lobby. I received a text from the driver and a staff member from Brendali called me and my apartment complex to ensure that the food reached me. I was impressed with how above-and-beyond they went! The order was intact, packaged well, and arrived early. My mom and I ordered some bruschetta to share, which was incredibly fresh and had a perfect amount of basil. We ordered the Vegetable Primavera and White Veggie Pizza to share. The portions were large and both items were fresh and delicious! I look forward to ordering again from Brendali.
google avatar

Nia L.

Yelp
Hi, it's me; the person who placed an order an hour ago on Uber eats and felt compelled to write a review immediately after. I ordered the black and blue because its been years since I've had pasta with blue cheese. The order was delivered in a reasonable time of an hour (I live 25 minutes away. It was packed in a container and tightly wrapped with plastic to prevent leaking. The food was still hot when it arrived and came with a complimentary roll. The pasta was delicious! The sauce was very rich and the rigatoni was cooked perfectly al dente. The chicken was nicely seasoned and blackened but not over cooked. It was reasonably priced for the portion. I'm very pleased with my order and the service and this will be my go to place for Italian food from now on.
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
Hubby and I finally tried this place out last night. The crab bruchetta is absolutely delicious! My husband got the tortellini tre salsa and loved it! I got lasagna and it was delicious. I did wish it had some extra sauce tho.

Yelp
Brendali's was the first local restaurant I tried before we moved to Fed Hill - they sold me on the neighborhood! Over the years, we've become regulars to Brendali and her husband (who was the chef for much of that time). I've tried over half their menu and nearly all of their pasta dishes. We've had parties here, we've celebrated good news here, we've gone here on a random M/T/W/Th/F/Sat/Sun... (there have been times we've gone there more than once a week - that's how much we love their food)! In my regular rotation - in order - is the eggplant parm, rigatoni black and blue, cappelini mercedes, veal parm, and penne alla vodka. The pasta is handmade and always a win. My husband regularly orders the chicken diego, too. Their marinara is really what sold me from my first meal on: it's fresh and delicious and the foundation for great Italian food. Oh! We also ordered one of the pizzas once - just because we hadn't before - and it was very good. We usually end up craving one of our regular rotation dishes before we even make it to pizza part of the menu, though! The portions are perfectly satisfying if you're super hungry, and perfect for a little lunch the next day if you're not (love me some Italian leftovers!). They have their takeout system down pat and it usually takes about 15 minutes from when you call in. They are also an EXCELLENT value - $10 for one of the top 3 best eggplant parms I've ever had (one of them being my own)? YES, PLEASE! I have a fairly refined palate for Italian food and have been to a number of restaurants in Little Italy: for the most part, the quality of food is rarely better than Brendali's yet costs substantially more. Brendali's is one of our favorite restaurants in not just the neighborhood, but the city!

Mae F.

Yelp
I really wanted to love the food that we ordered. My husband had a hankering for pasta and we discovered Brendali after searching Yelp. It seems to be very highly reviewed, so we went ahead with ordering two dishes and a dessert to split. We both wanted to try the crab ravioli and the penne vodka with blackened chicken, so we each ordered one dish with the intention to share. We were torn between the lemon cake and cheesecake, but ultimately settled on the cheesecake for our dessert. The pasta and sauce was outstanding, but we noticed that both the blackened chicken and crab meat were overcooked. We both agreed that had the meat not been overcooked, the meal would have been much better. This might be a situation where eating in the restaurant is better, so we are more than willing to give this place a shot again for in-person dining!

Kimberlee C.

Yelp
I am so sad they stopped delivering to our area. The Tre dish is to die for! We always order the tre and baked ziti and mix it together and top it on top of garlic bread. I don't know how we have missed going to this place in the past but its been the best part of quarantine, otherwise we would have never discovered it on Yelp. We still order for pick-up but not as frequently as we did when they had delivery. I would eat this every other day if I could...so when we do do pick-up, we double down on the order so we can enjoy leftovers. The leftovers are JUST as good the next day. Yum!!!!

Larry V.

Yelp
Delivery of penne pasta with vodka sauce and chicken and a cheese pizza - really good. Vodka sauce was great.

C A.

Yelp
Caesar salad came with italian dressing, no parmesan, and stale croutons. Tiramisu ($8) the smallest I have ever seen.

Ali B.

Yelp
We ordered the calamari, shrimp scampi, and tiramisu for takeout. The calamari was soggy and not crispy. The shrimp scampi only had 5 small pieces of shrimp and no sauce!!! Just pasta water. And they put the tiramisu cake on top of the hot food, so it was all melted by the time we took it out the bag. Very bad. Will not go again.

Yelp
This was my first time going to a BYOB restaurant! I heard that some places charge for the cork fee, but Brendali let us have our wine and provided a wine opener and glasses with no charge! This cute and little place is located on a corner on Light Street a few blocks from the bars. It had an old cozy feel to it and the food was incredible. Everything we ordered was flavored well. I loved the Caprese salad (the olive oil and balsamic vinegar sauce had a slight sweet taste to it). The Fetuccine Bianco was the perfect amount of cream (I usually get sick of eating creamy pasta like carbonaras after half way through the dish but this was a good balance!). I loved the Fetuccine Bolognese as well. It originally comes with peas but I'm not a big fan of peas. The service was great as well. Overall a great experience and a perfect place to get authentic Italian food!
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
In town to visit relatives and see some local sights, we checked into this popular local spot. It's tiny. Eight tables. BYOB. From what I was told, they do the classics here just right. We had chicken parm, which was well prepared and above average. It came with a small side of al dente pasta and a modest amount of a flavorful, if watery, sauce. The two chicken breasts were covered in cheese and tasty. Slightly overcooked, but not disappointing. The Fettuccine Bianco had shrimp and scallops in a lightly seasoned, old bay tinted cheese sauce. I'm told it was delicious. We ordered garlic bread, right before the piping (almost dangerously) hot rolls and whipped butter were delivered. They were much better than the tasteless (aside from the hot pepper flakes) garlic bread. Don't bother. Our server was friendly, but often confused, including failing to deliver the garlic bread until reminded. Overall, a very decent meal at a very fair price. It is a very popular spot, so perhaps your experience will exceed mine. I may also be biased because I grew up around the exceptional Italian food in Providence and Boston. Try it and see for yourself.

Yelp
Brendali is an old fashioned simple mom and pop style Italian restaurant, even has the green and white checked table cloths. Brendali was up there on my list of gotta try in Baltimore for awhile now, and what better a time than when we were craving Italian reading at the park in Fed Hill? We were warmly welcomed in and found out it was BYOB - thankfully a block down is a liquor store so I grabbed a beer after we'd ordered to enjoy with the meal. The bread was delicious, warm, slight crispness on the outside and a soft doughy center - smeared with butter the bread disappeared shortly after touching down on the table. I had the seafood Alfredo. Creamy, tangy, rich, and a nice touch of saltiness and Old Bay made for a perfectly rustic home meal. The lasagna had good flavor, came in a good serving size and gave us nothing to complain about. The food was all good and reminded me of home cooking, but nothing knocked my socks off. Very reasonably priced and BYOB means you can enjoy a drink with dinner at a nominal price!

Yelp
I was super excited to come in, but I called to see if I needed to make a reservation. When I asked, the guy on the phone said "what?". I asked again and he hung up on me. I called again after and he answered then hung up. Another time and the same thing. I won't be visiting. Sucks because I heard that the food was really good.

Nathan B.

Yelp
The food is very good, but the customer service is atrocious. We ordered delivery through Slice, the restaurant's preferred service. An hour later they delivered the wrong order. When we called Brendalis we were told to call Slice. We did, and Slice then just cancelled the order. When we called the restaurant back, they just said "Slice cancelled the order." No offer to resubmit the order. No apology. No "Can we try again." Nothing. Utterly astounding. We try to support local business, but will never go back to this one.

Yelp
In Baltimore on vacation and this place was recommended by the hotel we stayed at. We walked in and it was empty not 1 person sitting at 6pm on a Saturday so a young kid asked if we were picking up an order we said no can we sit? With an attitude he said "Yea over there" then we asked if parking on the side street is ok and he said with and attitude "I don't know" and just walked away with ear buds in his ears. He must be related to the owner as I now see plenty of bad reviews over a guy who works there. We found a part of town a few blocks away little Italy and there was plenty of restaurants there and the one we found all I can say is wow so don't waste your time going here
