Santino's Vino

We came in solely due to the ad - “Buy a bottle of wine and get a free pizza” Bottom line - As expected, wine was more pricey than it should have been but it was good. Overall, the Margherita Pizza, Eggplant appetizer and service were very good. Worth the stop and we would do it all over again.

One of my fav spots in Pac Heights. They have an excellent happy hour deal where you get a free pizza with a bottle of wine. They have an extensive wine selection, including some great reds from Italy. The pizza is incredibly tasty - it’s like a doughy thin crust. Get the Margherita with sausage. Owner is kind, service is super fast and friendly. Support this neighborhood joint!

We ate at Santino’s Vino two weekends in a row recently after first having stopped by while passing through The neighborhood. The food was delicious and we took advantage of their great special where you get a free pizza of your choice with any bottle of wine. Only remembered to get a picture of the wine because we liked it so much but rest assured the pizza was just as good. We felt super comfortable in their outdoor seating with ample heaters and everyone observing covid precautions. The next weekend, we decided to come back and bring friends. Mind you we live in the mission but it was worth the drive and the owner couldn’t have been more welcoming. We tried 3 more pizzas and 2 bottles of that same wine :)

Wine was good. Pizza was alright (who puts potatoes on a pizza??). No other food option available; the online menu pictures are misleading!! Pretty costly overall. And tables weren't clean. Its surface was sticky, probably due to spilled wine from earlier. Should come during Happy Hour, I guess. Otherwise wouldn't recommend.

Stopped by this afternoon (8/6/21) for lunch w/ a friend. We were quickly greeted, seated, and given menus. The service was awesome (prompt, attentive, polite, and pleasant). The food was GREAT, and the prices were as well. We ordered the trio dips, the eggplant bites, and the white pizza. Best food I’ve had in a long time. DEFINITELY check this place out!

Delicious simple food, great wine list, and excellent service. Would highly recommend for happy hour or a date night!

Big fan of Dino, the owner, and his crew. Food is made with love. Wine selection is abundant but not overwhelming. Like the selection of seating (tables, bar seating, high tops, etc.). Interior is really well done. I feel comfortable coming here for date night or for a quick casual bite. You'll feel taken care of here. Great vibes.
