Santísimo Taco - Review - Brickell - Miami - The Infatuation

From the tortilla to the meat marinade and the sauces available, this place screams great quality. I am Venezuelan, married to a Mexican, and I have had the opportunity to visit Mexico multiple times, and I can definitely say that this is authentic Mexican food and I can assure you that the experience will be amazing. - 📍Location: in the heart of brickell, easy to get from any point of brickell. Less than 1 block away from the 10th st station of Miami’s MetroMover. - 🗣️Service is excellent, you order with the cashier and food is brought to your table. Table service is excellent, they always make sure you are comfortable and that you have everything you need. - 🫓The tortillas they use for their tacos are made with corn and the texture and flavor make you feel you are in an authentic Mexican place. - 🌮I have tried so far: steak, al pastor and birria tacos. Each of them will make you feel in Mexico. - 🪈Flautas are appetizers NOT ENTREES. They are crispy, flavorful, with a mild acidity provided by the Salsa Verde (I got the chicken flautas), they also have Flautas de Birria and I’m sure they must be great. - 🥫Sauces available are classified according to the spiciness level, my favorite is the charred habanero sauce (the black one), it provides a smoky, earthy and elegant flavor profile that can be paired with almost anything available in their menu. - 🪑Ambiance is casual, modern but cozy, incorporating colorful chairs with classic Mexican colors and different Mexican motifs decorating their walls. - 🎵Music is a mix of different Mexican styles, mostly “Regional Mexicana” and “rancheras”. - 👔No dress code enforced, you can wear something casual, relaxed. - 🚽Bathrooms are impecable.

I can’t believe this is my first time trying Santissimo Tacos! This place is absolutely amazing — everything tastes so fresh, from the handmade tortillas to the vibrant, flavorful salsas. They have this smoky sauce that is to die for — I seriously want to come back just to buy a jar of it. If you’re into spicy food, their hot sauce packs the perfect punch — you’ll definitely want something to drink after that one! Luckily, they even have authentic Mexican Coca-Colas to wash it all down, which is such a nice touch. I’m so happy Brickell brought Santissimo here — we needed a true taco spot like this. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican flavors and ingredients made with love, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Super delicious tacos, cazuelas, sides and more! The service is also super amazing. The girls working the counter were very friendly and let us know that they had a special which would make our check cheaper. I really appreciate when staff lets us know about a special that we can take advantage of when we basically ordered it without ordering it and there is a financial benefit.

Google
The 3 tacos for $13 deal is amazing. They also have the best priced guac in Miami! I love their homemade tortillas. Super easy place to just pop in for a quick bite between work or activities.

Google
The flavors of the steak bowl were phenomenal. Especially when you add a dash of that spicy red sauce they have! The birria taco AND the consome had ZERO taste. Definitely wouldn’t try that again. But the bowls were the best! I’m definitely eating here again.

Google
Santisimo Taco is a strong addition to the Brickell neighborhood. We stopped in for a quick dinner and walked away genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious — a rare combo in Brickell — and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. They walked us through their different salsas and gave great recommendations. The tacos were the highlight. We ordered lengua, ribeye, birria, and pollo on corn tortillas. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and balanced. The tortillas in particular stood out: made in-house, great texture, and sturdy enough to hold everything together. We also tried the elote asado, which was excellent. Overall, it's one of the best taco spots in Miami, right up there with The Wolf of Tacos and The Taco Stand. We’ll definitely be back.

Google
Delicious fresh chicken tacos and guac. Love the family business vibe. Great branding. The chips tasted a little stale and didn’t have any flavor. The salsa bar helped add flavor but I recommend maybe offering a lightly salted / flavored version.

Google
Excellent “REAL” Mexican food place. We ate pretty much everything in the menu because it’s super good price/taste/Portions. My favorites Birria Tacos and Al Pastor!!! We did the Tacombo so you can pick three different flavors or like me two Birria tacos and 1 Al Pastor. Another MUST it’s the Elote which is super good. Everything that you will eat here have a real Mexican flavor. The Aguas frescas super good and real fruit taste, tamarindo it’s our choice. And I guess the desert if you still have some room don’t forget the Flan de queso de Cajeta. We will be going more often for sure. The staff is super friendly and they will help you to choose between the multiple options. The sauces are super tasty but watch out if you’re not a spicy person…

Yelp
I have never left a review for a restaurant before but I honestly JUST HAD TO! I live 2 mins away and it's my new favorite spot! The food is authentic! It's hard to find good Mexican in brickell. This spot is fairly new but I'm so happy. This spot reminds me of back home ( Mexico) . The tacos are amazing but my favorite are the chicken flautas I've been several times and never disappoints! The atmosphere is amazing as well they play REAL MEXICAN MUSIC. I've never been this happy this a place. The service was amazing they're always so sweet and fast! The quesoflan is also soooo good! Please try it!

Yelp
Tacos!!!! And really good tacos for that! Santisimo taco is exactly the kind of restaurant Brickell needed. Good, fresh cooked food for a price that doesn't leave you without enough money to afford the rent here. I highly highly encourage everyone to especially check out the Taco Tuesday 2 x 1 deal! It comes out to about $2 a taco The salsas also deserve their own round of applause. With 4 different flavors t choose from of varying spice levels, there is one you will defiantly love. My favorite is the medium black one. It is absolutely delicious. The place is beautifully decorated, with bright colors and Mexican decor. The staff is also wonderful and always so happy to help. I really hope this place makes it as it really is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
Decided to stop by for their 2x1 taco Tuesday deal! We ordered the birds taco, chicken taco, jaritas, and the elote. Service was really good. They staff took our order quickly and we sat down and waited for our tacos. They have a self service salsa bar that had 4 different salsas and lots of salt shakers (foreshadowing). The portions are pretty good. The chicken taco specifically was super loaded. The tortillas on both tacos broke easily and left a mess while attempting to eat the tacos. Neither of the tacos had salt and was lacking flavor. They chicken taco was very dry which was a let down. On a positive note, the elote was delicious! You get a full size corn with all the toppings and it was perfect. I would come back for that! There were other options on the menu that I would like to try before completely ruling them out, but I would not come back for the tacos.

Yelp
Great Taco Tuesday deal at this new spot. I would give food quality a B, it was pretty good but some room for improvement. For the prices on a Tuesday night it's a very good value though. They have a nice salsa bar with a range of flavors and spice levels. I enjoyed every salsa I tried, with the darkest of the bunch being a delicious highlight. And yay homemade tortillas! However, the veggie taco was pretty bland and made the tortilla soggy, it immediately fell apart. They should honestly completely reformulate the veggie taco (nopales? just mushrooms?), because the rest of the food was pretty good. Staff was friendly and helpful and I paid $10 for four tacos, which has to be one of the best deals in Brickell. Will def be back on future Tuesdays!

Yelp
Yikes. This was bad. Tortillas were super thick. The meat was dry and bland. It seemed as though nothing had salt. The salsa was so bad. It was like puréed tomato and that's it but even the tomato lacked flavor. This is the salsa that accompanies the tacos not the salsa bar. The spicy salsa at the salsa bar was the only relatively decent thing i tried while there. I had a chicken, a steak and a pastor taco. All dry. All bland. I also had the chicken flautas, they were overcooked making the shell super hard and the chicken again super dry. I would not go back. I hope they get it together or they'll be here today and gone tomorrow. I will say the staff was very friendly and took the order quickly. The place is tiny and not a place i would linger at, has more of a grab and go feel to it.

Yelp
So!! This place is new around here, a block away from my job, and I am SO grateful. Brickell is an area that has been heavily gentrified, so it's hard to find GOOD, AFFORDABLE food for the average joe like myself. Santisimo has a small, simple menu, priced well and has a great BOGO on tacos on Tuesdays. I've had their steak casuela 3 times in the past 7 days and today I tried 3 steak tacos, and everything was delicious, juicy and tender. The casuela is hefty, filled with generous helpings of seasoned rice, stewed beans, meat, guacamole, and salsa, cheaper than chipotle, and MUCH tastier. The beverages are a bit expensive in comparison to the food (canned/bottled sodas), but I wouldn't mind paying that if I got their fresh juices instead of a soda. They recently opened and it seems like they're still getting their sea legs, but the staff are very friendly and the food comes out within 5 mins or so, so no complaints there. It can get a little warm in there, as it's a small locale, but there are plenty of tables and seats for larger groups. I'm excited to try more of their menu items, and I'm very happy with them so far!! Welcome to Brickell!
