"There isn’t a bad view of Santorini’s caldera anywhere on the island, but Oia, on the northern branch of the island, is something special. Its elevation provides a stunning perspective, and its orientation makes for dramatic shadows across the water at sunset. It’s also more or less the heart of Santorini’s luxury hospitality industry — but, from within the walls of Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa, it’s possible to feel like you’re just about alone on the island." - Le Guide MICHELIN

Wonderful place to stay, staff is amazing and friendly. Breakfast, which was included, was amazing LOTS of options. There are four or five pools from which to choose. Pool service is outstanding. I went to the spa and had an amazing MUD massage! We had our own hot tub which was so relaxing (and very clean!). This is a perfect place to stay!

My stay at Santo Pure was simply exquisite. The hotel exudes elegance and charm from the moment you step inside. The luxurious rooms offer stunning views and the utmost comfort, while the impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel was truly impressive. What truly stood out was the fantastic staff - their warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a truly delightful experience!!!

I don't usually bother to write a review but i do read them when looking to book so I thought it may be helpful to others considering Santo Pure in Santorini. Hotel is listed as 5* - it isn't. I have stayed at 3 other 5* hotels in the last 6 months (Ritz London, Cipriani Venice and Lanesborough London). They are all proper 5* hotels. Santo Pure is at best 4*. Staff were friendly and always tried to help. The fact they usually didn't succeed in providing any help was probably a combination of knowledge, training , experience or willingness to find a solution. Suites were OK and ours was large with 2 double rooms . Cleanliness was just adequate. The outside areas with the small pool and jacuzzi were never touched in the 10 days we were there. Food in the main restaurant was Ok (we only ate there once). Breakfast was just adequate for me and below standard for my wife who is a coeliac and needed some gluten free options of which there were none or they were poor (mouldy GF bread in a plastic wrapper). We asked the hotel about GF alternatives and they said they would provide more but this turned out to be a heavy GF pancake covered in chocolate spread for breakfast. - not suitable. We did have a good break. Santorini is beautiful and was well worth a visit. The hotel was adequate but was never 5* and not value for money.

Just spent several nights here in May. We had an amazing time and an awesome suite with a private room and sunset view. The staff was super helpful with anything we needed. We also spent a day at the spa which was lovely. Overall we had a great experience with this hotel, spa, and amazing staff. Thanks for making our trip special!

Hey, so this is my first time here at this resort. The resort is very cool. The staff are super nice in the rooms and are phenomenal. I can't say too much about the cleanest staff they go far and beyond their duties to make you comfortable, and I appreciate them for that. And make sure you have the proper drinks and Waters as you need to bring you through the day. They do get busy so if you do Rent A Car the best thing to do is just go down and grab your keys and then just walk up to the parking lot and get your car it is not a far walk. They have a gym you can work out in. It's not huge, but it is workable with a couple of treadmills, bike, elliptical, and a couple of TRX straps and multi-machines. It is walking distance from restaurants and shops and a great view of the sunrise and the sunset, which most restaurants around here have a great view of. If you rent a car it is about 30 minutes from the airport, 40 minutes from the red and black and white sand beaches. While driving, they do have a lot of great spots where you could get a great view of Greece and pull over and take pictures. But if you're looking too busy Greece is a great spot to visit I know they are other resorts all over the area but definitely if you're interesting to rainy you should visit this Resort, it's pretty cool

Upon arrival at Santo Pure, Oia Suites & Village, we were initially greeted warmly, which set high expectations for our stay in the Junior Suite Sea View with Jacuzzi. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a larger room. While spacious, the extra space was largely unnecessary for a short stay and, regrettably, came at the cost of our anticipated sea view. Despite bringing this to the attention of the front desk, they insisted our room still had a sea view. It seems their definition includes any body of water, as we only had a view of a pool, far from the beautiful shores we expected. The weather during our visit was less than ideal, which made the jacuzzi feature all the more appealing. However, the jacuzzi was lukewarm at best, a supposed ecological measure. Though we requested it to be heated for a short period as advised upon check-in, this did not improve the temperature, making it no different from the chilly pool water. Additionally, we encountered a persistent leak in our bathroom, which was reported and supposedly fixed—evidenced only by a stray screw left on the floor and the continued dripping of water. While the air conditioning was only needed for one night due to the weather, it was excessively noisy and could be a significant disturbance for light sleepers. This issue was compounded by poor soundproofing in the rooms, as we could hear everything from our neighbors. Lastly, the breakfast offered was underwhelming for the hotel's standard. It seems the establishment might be resting on the laurels of its location and not striving for the quality one would expect from such a reputed venue. Overall, our experience did not meet the expectations set by the hotel’s prestige or price point, which was quite disappointing for what was supposed to be a highlight of our trip to Greece.

The very warm, welcoming and solicitous staff, beautiful pool area with stunning vistas, and ample & delicious breakfast buffet are FIVE stars at Santo Pure. Our rating is four stars because the original room had a cluttered, limited view of the sea. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and we willingly paid significantly more and waited a few hours for an ocean view room.|Keep in mind that Santo Pure is on a hillside; there is a street that leads down to a busy oceanfront part of the island; there is a parking lot below. (We positioned our photos to crop out the clutter below.) The hotel is not oceanfront, but does boast exceptional ocean views from the pool, bar, and dining areas. |Shoutout to George who took excellent care of us poolside, and to the dining room breakfast team – you all were a highlight of our stay in Oia😍🤍🇬🇷💙👍🏽xo!

The main pool and bar location allows one an unencumbered view of “the sunset” .. so one doesn’t have to scamper to find a restaurant in Oia to see it . The facilities were kept up beautifully - sparkling clean! The breakfast was buffet style with a wide variety - great fresh fruits especially! I would have enjoyed the opportunity to have a custom omelette. |The people in Reception and concierge made our stay remarkable!! THEY were able to create a wonderful experience on the island for us ! They arranged drivers, tours, and offered many quaint sites for dinner reservations. They offered warm smiles and laughter every time we walked into the front office. They make this property OUTSTANDING!!!|Special thanks to Maria, Ginna, Thomas and the other concierge friends! |In order to have a room with a private sunset view be sure to reserve a villa or suite with a “ Full Sunset View”|Another value of this property is one can walk easily to the Oia stores and restaurants if you want or you can stay in peace at the property!
