**Tasty food, warm welcome, but watch the portions**
Santo Remedio delivers on flavour. The chicken enchiladas suizas hit the spot, and the taco had proper seasoning. The margarita with its chilli rim and the Pacifico beer paired well with the meal.
The chap who greeted us made the visit. He was genuinely welcoming and set the right tone for the meal. Service throughout stayed attentive without being overbearing.
The problem is portion size versus price. At £51 per person for brunch, you expect to leave satisfied. We didn’t. The plates looked good but left us wanting more food.
Would I come back? Yes, for a treat. The cooking is solid and the atmosphere works. Just know you’re paying premium prices for small plates. Budget accordingly or order extra.
.Good food, great service, poor value.
