Where to Eat Before a Show at the Met Philadelphia | Eater Philly

"This South Philly favorite for square pies also has a location on North Broad. It’s one of the most casual spots on this list, known for its sauce-on-top pizzas and its cannoli. There’s also a back room with a bar, making Santucci’s a good option for a pre- or post-show beer." - Sarah Maiellano

First time eating at this establishment. The server was very friendly. I ordered to 2 lices of pepperoni, some hot wings, onion rings, fries, and chicken tenders. The pizza was not as good as I expected. The onion rings and tenders weren't good either. The fries were pretty good. The chicken wings were nothing special, fried wings with regular hot sauce. Overall was very disappointed with the food. I will not be coming back

I went to try the pizza well it was the best I have had in a long time but it was different the sauce was on the top of the pizza and the sauce was delicious and cooked just the way I like it well done. So everyone should try it you won't be sorry.

Pizza was awesome, the only reason it wasn't all 5's is because it was very warm air didn't feel like it was on. but we will definitely be back!

We tried this place for the first time despite being 5 minutes away because the Courier Post rated it the best pizza in South Jersey and they were right!! We had the works and mozzarella sticks and both were absolutely amazing! The employees were very friendly as well.

Santucci’s is best known for its pizza which is very good so for lunch last week I decided to try their cheesesteak. Cooked fresh, provolone cheese added to the steak for a great blend, I added fried onions which were soft and tasty. Very good sandwich!

Always on the lookout for new pizza places, and Santucci's was a really pleasant surprise. The square pies here are closer to what I would call a grandma pie, and the crust is really delicious. Not too doughy and not too crunchy, and the sauce is fantastic. Our personal favorite in our lunch group is the $10 lunch deal for a personal pie and a soda. Awesome stuff, always happy to go back.

We got a couple of pies for take out and I gotta say, I wasn’t impressed with this pizza AT ALL. The crust was soggy by the time we got home to eat it and there was barely any flavor to it. Disappointed.

My pizza wasn’t done when they told me it would be. I waited about 15 mins in my car for them to bring it out. And there was almost noon the store. But more than anything, it was pretty tasteless. The sauce had no flavor, and we all needed to put salt on it. Meh.
