Let me start by saying that this restaurant is awesome. Point blank, one of the best places I have ever eaten. My wife decided to come here just by looking at good places to go in Ft. Lauderdale and made a reservation. We were greeted by Enrico, the owner and our server for the night. He was a pro the entire time. He told us about how the recipes were all from his grandmother back in Italy. Everything we ate reflected that love. The Nonnas meatball appetizer was insane. They were delicious and we could’ve drank the rest of the marinara sauce with a straw. The eggplant appetizer was delicious too. I ordered the bolognese lasagna and my wife ordered the pesto gnocchi with chicken. Everything was amazing. Every bite. Even the dessert, tiramisu and salted caramel cheesecake were delectable. Service was top notch and everything came out quickly. 100% we will be back and soon at that. Thank you Enrico for everything.

We visited Sapido for dinner while in Ft Lauderdale. Very cute and intimate restaurant in a lovely part of town. We were seated immediately - not too much seating but we did not have to wait. Henrico, who served us but also happens to be the owner, was so kind and informative about the menu and wine options - a selection of his family recipes and favorite wines. We had the Cesar salad, eggplant parm. The eggplant was his grandmas recipe - no batter no fry - super light and delicious. You could taste the freshness of the eggplant and tomato sauce. The burrata was excellent - perfectly paired with arugula and tomatoes. The house bread and basil aioli was 10/10. We pesto gnocchi was cooked to perfection - I felt like they just melted in my mouth. Tiramisu for dessert is a MUST! Enrico thank you so much for the warm experience. We wish you the absolute best. Highly recommend when visiting Ft Lauderdale!

Meal for two took 2 hours. We ordered an app and 2 pastas. We switched tables to accommodate more reservations showing up and the restaurant not having tables for new parties. Food was good but not amazing. Sadly, when the food finally arrived to the table, it was lukewarm. Very, very nice servers and staff but not sure what the heck was going on with the very slow kitchen and turn over.

A charming, cozy spot serving genuinely authentic Italian cuisine — a rare find in Florida. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-notch!

If you like finding a hidden gem, this is your kind of place. If you travel enough to Italy you will appreciate the casual Mediterranean sense of Sapido - very much like all local Osteria or trattoria. Make no mistake about it, this food is excellent. Everything we ate was fresh and homemade. The restaurant is extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bottled water, bottle of wine (from my families town in Italy!), pizza, 2 pastas, dessert and espresso - $149.00. How can anyone complain about that!

Hey my Pizones! 🍕 The best of the best for authentic Italian dining in Fort Lauderdale is Sapido. Just two blocks off Las Olas, this hidden gem takes your taste buds on a journey rarely found outside of Italy! From the moment you sit down, you’re greeted with warm, fresh bread and a mouthwatering buttery spread that sets the stage for what’s to come. We had little ones with us, and they absolutely loved the pizza and pasta with marinara sauce. Of course, we had to try the pizza ourselves—and it was so good, we ordered another to take home! We also indulged in the Gamberi e Avocado salad and the Pollo alla Pizzaiola (chicken breast), both of which were simply outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel like we were visiting family in the old country. Our host and server, Enrico, was incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect for a top-tier dining experience. Sapido is now our go-to spot for Italian food in Fort Lauderdale! Just a heads-up—you’ll want to make a reservation for dinner. Buon appetito! 🍷

A slice of Italy in Fort Lauderdale! The staff were friendly and welcoming! The food was amazing and tasted like I was back in Italy. My photos don’t do the food justice! Can’t wait to go back!

I stopped by to use the restroom at , which was impressively clean and had nice mood lighting. However, my experience took a surprising turn when an employee ran after me as I was leaving—not to ask, but to tell me to come back and clean the toilet after using it. Confused but cooperative, I returned to the restroom, only to find a small streak at the bottom of the toilet—something proper water pressure should have handled. While the young lady who greeted me was polite and professional, the male employee’s attitude was unnecessarily rude and a bit aggressive. A simple, respectful conversation would have made a huge difference. Guests should always be mindful of cleanliness, but demanding that customers clean toilets is beyond unreasonable. Would I return? Absolute NOT!
