"When the temperature outside finally drops into pants-wearing territory, we go to Sap’s Ver Fine Thai Cuisine on Burnet Road for noodle soup. We like the Kao Soi, the deeply flavorful red curry soup with egg noodles, and the Guay Teaw Tom Yum Moo, their excellent pork broth-based noodle soup. Also, when you see something on a menu called “amazing green beans,” you can’t not order it. Just trust them when they say it’s “Spicy Level 4.”" - Raphael Brion

One of the finest Thai cuisine, not like Americanized, this is our 3rd time going to this place. Amazing place with variety of authentic dishes, don’t forget to order their speciality dishes, it’s really best. Vegetarian options are less, ordered pineapple fried rice, but i had tasty one from different places, non veg ppl you have different options to try. Staffs are really friendly . Portion wise is ok, fried rice is good for 2 ppl, i saw many ppl ordered 2 portion of plain rice. Overall experience was absolutely good.. 👍👍👍💕

Sap's is a fine choice for Thai food but its strength is in its inventive builds and not raw flavor. For example, there are two types of pad Thai - one street version, one show dish. Other dishes include pad macaroni and spaghetti noodles which are reminiscent of western influences. Be sure to confirm the spice level of your dish! Spice levels are out of five and the server didn't confirm what level the dish would be. Also, you will be charged extra for asking for sauce. So overall, the food is fine, but there are lots of small quirks at Sap's. At least the decor and ambiance is top notch.

I had Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice for dinner. The food looked good but tasted just ok. I think there are a couple of other Thai restaurants in Austin serve better food than this one, just in my personal opinion. But overall me and my friend had a good time dining here. And there is one plus point is that they have lots of beautiful colorful umbrellas on the ceiling as decoration for the restaurant, which I enjoyed watching them while eating.

If you’re feeling emotional and need a good cry, order one of the noodle dishes and ask for Thai Spicy. After a few bites you’ll be bawling and saying things like “it hurts so good”. My personal fave is the Pad See Ew, tangy, spicy, and gosh darn delicious.

If you are in the mood for some delicious pad Thai, Sap’s in Austin is the place for you. The place has colorful decor with a blanket of Japanese umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. You can purchase these as you leave. They offer food to go and you can add any of their prepackaged sauces. I enjoyed fried vegetable roll and tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce. Fun and delicious.

I loved the vibe and decorations of the restaurant. It offers a nice feeling and a very professional and comfortable place to enjoy a meal and conversation with your friends. They have a lot of good options, and they can make the food as spicy as you want so you can experience the full flavor of the cuisine.

It's one of the good Thai places in Austin that I have tried. Run by Mr. Sap himself, you can talk to him as well, nice man. He comes once in a while to check-in with you. Great for small as well as bigger groups. The food is good and tasty. Make sure you ask about the spicy levels before ordering, their spicy can get really spicy. I loved the Pad Thai that I ordered but my colleagues also like the pork belly and pineapple fried rice they ordered. Love the decor inside and it is a real cozy place. The place is big so I guess there won't be much waiting usually, atleast that is what I'm guessing. The service is really good and they accommodate customizations and additional requests. My colleague was able to add extra basil to his dish. They will be happy to pack up your food to go if you have a lot left at the end. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. Parking is plenty as this shares the parking lot with HEB, it won't be an issue. The service time wasn't very fast so expect an average service time.

If you are looking for real authentic Thai food, this is not the place to go. Indeed, the location is great with a large parking spot and the decor is really nice. It's a perfect place for a romantic dinner if you only care about ambiance and pretty pictures. The menu is very vast and that alone should have been a big no no from the beginning. We ordered 3 dishes and out of the 3, we didn't finish any. The Moo Ping and the Som Tam were overly sweet. When we asked the waitress about it, she said that they were doing it Chinese style... Its like saying you're doing a paella but Italian style, it doesn't make any sense. Overall very disappointed by this restaurant, the 2 stars are only for decor and service but the food was not great.
