Delicious! My espresso is tasty. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of seating which is a rare find in Cambridge! And I found parking right out front. Highly recommend.

Google
Sarah's Market and Cafe is a fantastic spot for a tasty and healthy meal. I ordered the egg and cheese on a plain bagel along with a coffee latte, and both were exceptional. The sandwich was delicious, with a fresh and organic taste that made it stand out. The coffee latte was perfectly brewed, providing just the right kick. Overall, it's an amazing place that delivers both quality and satisfaction. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great meal and a satisfying coffee.

Google
Bland mediocre food!! they don't make every order the same. The guy sitting next to me got a burrito, and his was grilled properly with grill marks and mine wasn't. Nothing was seasoned, not even salt. The guy kept speaking to me in Spanish for some reason.. Im not Mexican nor do I look it. Don't recommend.

Google
Wow! This cafe serves high quality food in generous portions! I ordered a tuna panini. I did ask for tomato to be added and it was not, but my sandwich came with a side salad with tomato and cucumbers and onions so I was content. The albacore tuna was delicious and had onions and spices in it (well seasoned). The havarti was SO fresh and tasty, and the portions were large! The avocado was a bit harder but I honestly was so full I couldn’t eat it all anyway. All this for $14.90 with tax! I got a spindrift and alternative baking company cookie (these are vegan, if that’s important to you) from the market attached, and dinner was served. Did t have room for the cookie, but it’ll be for another time :-). Fully accessible. Metered parking on the streets around it. My one complaint is that the setting sun roasted us in the seating area. It would help to have curtains or shades or something. Noticed that they serve Harney and sons tea! One of my favorite companies!!!

Google
Great tasting fresh food every time! I visit Sarah's every week through the summer months for the past two summers and they have yet to disappoint me. Friendly service in timely manner at a fair price for delicious sandwiches, wraps, salads and more!

Google
Literally went here three days in a row for their breakfast while we were in cambridge. The staff is so friendly and kind, the location is clean, and the breakfast sandwiches are incredible. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and holy smokes it was the best ever. Idk if it's the quality of the bread or what but it's amazing. Also their lattes are big, tasty, and inexpensive compared to some of the brand name options. Overall this is my favorite and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Google
I used to love this place. I actually grew up coming here for years. I’ve moved and this is my first time back here in about a year and I’m very dissatisfied. The omelet I had was incredibly dry and the potatoes were basically boiled not anything you would call home fries. Also we would normally dine in but they gave us to-go boxes to eat out of which is just not what we wanted. Kinda hard to eat French toast from a to go box. They used to have a nicer staff and the man kind of rushed me through my order. I honestly hate leaving a review like this but hopefully the management will see it and make a change because I honestly used to love this place and come every weekend.

Google
This place is so good! I ordered the Western Sandwich and two chocolate chip pancakes. They both came out so quick, and they were both so delicious! They make all their food right there in front of you! Definitely want to go back!

Yelp
The Omelet is really good. Also people there are super nice and patient -- I am a picky person, and on Keto diet. I initially was worried because I asked for no carb (fries and bread), which seems too picky. But people there just switched bread with more fruit, which is super good. The plate is very big, and the omlete is way too much for me as lunch. I served it with butter, super tasty.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast and lunch, also dinner. I just had this cheesesteak with french fries and it was a nice full amount of food. I really think they should be more busy during the evenings. You can also sit in and relax and eat there.

Yelp
The market is clean and well kept. It had an interesting selection of products and the prices seemed typical for a city. It has a variety of premade foods to choose from and the people working there were friendly.

Lucas H.

Yelp
Everyone at Sarah's is so kind! The food is absolutely wonderful. Prices are super reasonable, especially considering the surrounding options, and it always tastes just lovely.
google avatar

Hubert H.

Yelp
A bit pricey and wish there were more produce options. But a decent upscale convenience store.
google avatar

Bailee P.

Yelp
This is more of a glorified convenience store than a market. But call it what you wish!!

Irene S.

Yelp
Note to self: got the western sandwich. it's actually an omelette between two slices of bread. got the iced mocha, that was okay. Lemonade tasted weird and bitter towards the bottom. Seasoning was decent. Mexican omelette was "aight" (K's words) All in all, glad we tried it, not sure we would go back. Service was nice though! Lots of huge flies flying around us and other customers.

Yelp
I have such a soft spot for Sarah's! My guilty pleasure is the kids' menu grilled cheese with French fries. It's always perfectly toasted, and the American cheese is a total hit of nostalgia. I'll even get it for breakfast, although sometimes in the AM the fryer isn't warmed up yet, so they sub chips for the fries. :( The other breakfast options are tasty, too. I'm partial to the corned beef hash with eggs and toast ($7.50). If you're not in the mood for the excellent coffee/espresso, a steamed milk with a pump of almond syrup is super comforting. As for lunch, all the sandwiches, wraps, and salads are made to order with fresh ingredients, so you really can't go wrong. And for dessert, the cakes in the case by the register look pretty awesome. The guys that work here are super nice and welcoming. Ordering is always a pleasure! The market is pretty cool, too--they have a great selection of candy and beverages (the important things in life). If I lived around here I would definitely pop in for snacks and emergency grocery items, though it could turn into an expensive habit.

Yelp
Sarah's cafe has the best grilled chicken you'll get in Cambridge! Even though it seems like a pretty basic menu, the food is always stellar. We've been going here multiple times a week for lunch during the pandemic and are so grateful to have it in walking distance. Some favorites include: Turkey Club, Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, Greek Salad with Chicken, and BLT. The market is good if you're in a bind and just need one or two things, but their prices are pretty high (which is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars).
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
Great breakfast, STRONG iced coffee, wonderful service. There are also a nice number of tables for sitting and lingering if you want. If you need anything, the market has it, too. Love stopping here when I need something fast and good that is reasonably priced.
google avatar

Jess L.

Yelp
I had come here just for milk and such but then realized today that they also serve brunch! Unlike Hi-Rise, which is always crowded, this place has space and a wider selection selection for brunch. I had the breakfast burrito, which was tasty and not too dense. The salsa that came along it was moderately spicy. My boyfriend got the bacon and cheddar burrito, which had a decent amount of bacon. Both came with roasted potatoes, which were a little oily but well spiced. The biggest flop was the lattes; they weren't real lattes. Anyway, I would definitely come to the cafe again. They also have dinner and lunch options.
google avatar

Yelp
They sell BOOZE, hey, guys! Booooozzzzeee! Hey --- oh, you already knew? Oh, I didn't... I only ever went for coffee. It's cool, nah, I should've looked. I know, I walked right by. No, I'm fine! Well, I'm a fan of the coffee - the ice coffees are americanos. Pissah. The pastries are better than the other local options, and though there is a minimal purchase to put it on a card, it's not hard to hit that limit for one person on a coffee break. I've done it, it's easy, really. Depending on what time you are driving by here, there can be A VERY LOT of parking, or there can be none. It's the mystical (kidding)... it's the catholic school drop off, mostly that makes it tough to get to. So many minivans, so little time! The people who work here are really nice, and helpful. I'm gonna go buy a ton of wine next time I go, just cause. Now I know...
google avatar

Morgan L.

Yelp
I love Sarah's! All the staff here are extremely friendly, they're always joking around or starting conversation. They just finished renovating and the place looks better than ever. This is a super convenient one-stop-shop, they not only have an excellent array of grocery items but their café food is all super tasty as well. I come here regularly for breakfast or lunch and I've enjoyed their pastries, sandwiches and pastas very much. Well-priced too!
google avatar

Damien S.

Yelp
Didn't try the scrumptious looking, Boar's Head branded deli/cafe side. But the market is worth a look-see on its own. Don't let the convenience store front fool you, because it is, in fact, a convenience store. What's on the shelves separates Sarah's from its everycorner counterparts. Craft sodas, international candies a la Cardullo's, small batch chips or flavors from mainstreamers you've never seen before (Crazy Hot Popchips? Okay), and a fairly fine selection of beer and wine. Maybe it's the traffic from frequent customer invasions, or high-demand items that can't stay stocked, but there's definitely an inordinate number of boxes stacked around the aisles. Watch your step. Prices are Cantabrigian, but lower than Harvard Square, so if you're zipping through Huron Village and have a hankering for ostrich jerky and a Caleb's cola, yump in to Yarah's, yo.
google avatar

Stuart L.

Yelp
Not as good as it used to be (food quality). And, generally, the guys behind the counter are OK, but there is one who is gratuitously unpleasant and snotty. No need for that. It was convenient to stop by there today, but for the diminished quality, increased prices and unnesessary attitude, forget it - it's not worth it.

Kate Q.

Yelp
Omg! You have to order Chicken Mozzarella Panini. It's delicious ever!!! The workers may not speak English well but they are nice and get your food done pretty fast. Every time I am hungry and need a quick food, I go Sarah's.

Barrett W.

Yelp
Sarah's is a perfect neighborhood market. They've recently expanded their liquor section during the pandemic and it's now my go to stop. Their food is absolutely delicious. Everything I've ever had here is made with love and care by great cooks and Cambridge is so lucky to have this little gem. Thanks, Sarah's!
google avatar

Yelp
Cool little shop. Nice staff. Nice variety of items. Disclaimer:we didn't visit the cafe just the store! It has most of what you need in the way of snacks and other basic groceries. It's expensive but you mostly pay for the convenience. It was well stocked and clean and in a good area. We will return soon and try the cafe!!
google avatar

Kay O.

Yelp
The staff here could not be nicer! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. They have a solid beer and wine selection in their convenience store. What more could I possibly want from a neighborhood cafe/ convenience store? I live about a 1 minute walk away and I'm in and out of here more often than I'd like to admit. I left my umbrella there once and they returned it to me before I even knew it was missing! They also gave me a free salad wrap as a Christmas gift. Lovely people, great place!
google avatar

Katie L.

Yelp
You can't beat Sarah's if you're looking for a solid, casual, inexpensive meal. We lived in the neighborhood for years and this was one of our standby places. Portions are big, food is great and prepared fresh. We've both eaten here and taken out many times, and either is fine, though there are not a ton of tables, so at busier times like weekend mornings, a table will be hard to come by. If you're going the take away route, call your order in ahead of time and it is usually ready in about 15 minutes. They offer the cordial, no-nonsense, speedy service that I miss when I'm on the west coast!
google avatar

K C.

Yelp
Loved having breakfast here when we lived in this 'hood. Now we still regularly get the pasta dinner from here. I love the taste and how fresh it is. Their wines are good and grocery section isn't bad either
google avatar

Karina G.

Yelp
Great diner breakfast - quick eggs made to order! And love their wraps and salads for pick up - especially the chicken Greek salad! And awesome convenience store, too :)
google avatar

Cheryl Z.

Yelp
I've eaten here many times over the past 2 years. The food is OK (not bad, not great). The service can be OK, or it can be horrible. On my latest (and final) visit, we waited 25 min for our food before my husband went up to ask where it was, and they said "we might have lost your order". No apologies. The post it note system they have for food making is not a good one.
google avatar

Daniel P.

Yelp
This was a great find. The menu items are well put together and include a variety of full and continental breakfast options. One fascinating quirk is the access route to/from the restroom - a facility which I suspect is mandated in sit-down establishments (but, I'm no lawyer - only the husband of one - so I may be wrong here). To head to the head, go through the active galley kitchen and descend downstairs. Here, the rustic nature of Sarah's truly comes alive. Note, in particular, the century + old rough hewn support cross beams as well as the dry and walkin pantries. Unquestionably eclectic and common all at once, Sarah's is surely a comforting destination for the quirky, salty and/or "Everyman"personalities of the area. Next time I'm in Cambridge, I'll surely stop by!
google avatar

Kapil P.

Yelp
Amazing food and in big portions! Veggie omelets are the best! And huge selection of beer and wine
google avatar

Dhruv P.

Yelp
Came to visit my cousin and she introduced me to this place. My wife and I came the times here during our trip of 5 days. The food here is delicious, fresh and affordable compared to other places. I'd say that it was even slightly better than Darwin's. Plus the employees are super nice and willing to go extra mile without any expectations. The egg sandwich was good, but the breakfast was amazing. Slip the home potatoes and get fries instead. The home potatoes are a bit salty and under cooked, but the are just perfect.
google avatar

Manny H.

Yelp
Good food for a quick bite, breakfast is amazing. Family friendly and very nice staff, dont expect a table service its a walk up and order type of place.

Noora K.

Yelp
Sarah's market isn't bad. I've had there food before and it was not to shabby. But it was pretty delicious but I threw everything up.
google avatar

John W.

Yelp
Restaurant and convenience store hybrid. Excellent local joint for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My recommendation: curry chicken with rice.
google avatar

Jenny C.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast and lunch! I work near by, so it's super convenient with both a market for snacks and cafe for full meals. It's pretty good for vegetarians (like myself). They don't have a whole lot of vego options, but what they do have us really good, and usually can last me 1.5 meals. The veggie burger is really good, and fries are a must. The veggie burrito is also very good, and just half of one is enough to fill you up on your average day. I also frequent their coffee menu for a pick-me-up in the middle of the day, and I am a big fan of their lattes. The staff is super friendly and helpful! They always greet you with a smile and friendly greeting. It is a little confusing figuring out when to pay, since you order food from one place and the register is elsewhere. But just order then pay right after, and you are squared away.

Yelp
I recently had Sarah's Market & Cafe cater a breakfast event for my organization. I worked with Raj on the order, and he was more than cordial and professional during each of our conversations. I placed a large order (that later had to be adjusted) for breakfast sandwiches that were vegetarian and non-vegetarian friendly. The sandwiches arrived on time and individually wrapped, as requested. Everyone commented on how tasty the sandwiches were and inquired as to where they were from. Another thing to note: my order was supposed to include paper products (napkins & plates), but when it arrived, plates were not included. Raj apologized, and I assured him it was not a big deal. About 10 minutes after the delivery had arrived, I got a call--Raj had returned with plates. Now THAT is customer service. I have never dined at Sarah's but based on my experience with their catering service, I will certainly be enjoying a meal there soon.

Yelp
I wouldn't set out a plan to go to Sarah's market. It's merely one of those spots where you "are in the neighborhood" and pop in to grab a coffee, candybar, pack of gum, odwalla smoothie, etc... It's really cute. People go there to actually sit down and eat. So try it if you're in the area. The coffee is decent. The service is always cordial.
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
So, it was a great idea to get a cute apartment in Huron Village. Rent's cheap, people are friendly, and when you need groceries, there's... ...oh wait. There isn't. Being in Huron Village without a car means you'll be best friends with your bike panniers or zipcar every time you need groceries. But while that works for big trips, what about when you just need a half-gallon of milk? Or, you have salsa, but need everything else to fix yourself and guests a plate of nachos? While the people here are truly friendly, I'm still not ready to go ask them for the cup of sugar I need for my chocolate zucchini bread - here's where Sarah's comes in. They've got everything you need, and while the prices are always almost double Market Basket's, it's a convenience store. You're paying for convenience. The guy working behind the counter is friendly, in that "I might secretly be trying to figure out what you're making" sort of way. You might end up in a conversation about the Sox while in line to check out. It's a neighborhood fixture. But - it gets better. In the back, there's a full-service cafe (you noticed the two-part name of the business, too!) that serves yummy hot dishes and fantastic sandwiches. They serve breakfast all day on weekends, and there's always somewhere to sit. Beware, you might have to wait a while for your food, because sometimes there's only one guy preparing everything on his own - grilled salmon and veggies in a homemade cream sauce, grilled reuben sandwiches with fries, double lattes...but he's a pro, pulls it all together with style. Just don't count on grabbing your food and running - it doesn't necessarily work like that. Sarah's Market - you know you'll be seeing me when I again inopportunely run out of heavy cream or corn meal in the middle of a recipe. It's a date.
google avatar

Bridget H.

Yelp
Sarah's is a decent market, and a nice, affordable, not too crowded place to get brunch and sandwiches. Beware of the chocolate though -- for a store that small they carry an inordinate amount of fancy chocolate varieties. And somehow despite my best intentions, every time I go there I walk out with what I wanted plus chocolate... that I didn't need. But I eat anyway...
google avatar

JEM C.

Yelp
This fine establishment comes in the clutch all too often. Ran out of mixers? Run to Sarah's. Have a sweet tooth? Run to Sarah's. Not in the mood to prepare lunch?? Its just right around the corner and the prices are just right! Im loving me some corner store, deli, restaurant action!
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
Love this place! Everyone that works there is really friendly and the food is yummy. I particularly like the fact that even though it's a small cafe, they make things to order. And they do it graciously! I know I'm a picky cry-baby about my food, but they never even bat an eyelash when I order. They are quick too. I don't always have a lot of time between clients to get something to eat, but I know I can always get something nutritious and yummy PDQ when I run up there from my spa. Def check out the super fluffy pancakes! YUM!

Yelp
Here's to you, Sarah's Market....my first totally-deserved 5-star rating! I'll take a Denny's or *shudder* Waffle House any day of the week, but one of the cooler things about living in this area is the lack of chain restaurants. This makes small, independently owned places readily available--crap, and otherwise. Sarah's, quite simply, kicks ass. The place is clean, warm, and unassuming with some very friendly people working behind the counters. The menu has quite a selection spanning all three meals of the day, and it's all both delicious AND cheap as hell (comparatively). Did I mention that breakfast is served all day Saturdays and Sundays? Bam. Hangover heaven. All of this fine and good, but how about we tack on a convenience store with PowerBall, microbrews, condoms, wine, and cigarettes (not necessarily in that order)? Aww yeah! I feel truly blessed that I live within walking distance of this place, and will continue to partake even when I move farther out. If you're in the area, Sarah's is definitely recommended.

Yelp
I visit Sarah's Market at least once a day, and I can't think of any significant criticism. ~Market Grade: A Sarah's has excellent offering of the basic necessities. You will almost always have choices. -Beverages include Soda, Water drinks (vitamin water, etc), Juices, Milk, Odwalla/Naked smoothie drinks and of course many more. -The food selection includes many varieties of chips, nuts, fruit, meats, cheeses, ice cream, cookies, candy, cereal and more. They have spices, pasta, sauces, and some canned goods. -You'll be able to find toiletries, pet food, notebooks, household items, Basic Medication (like asprin.. behind the counter) and other items of that nature. -Standard selection of cigarettes, usually with sale options. Cigars, Lottery tickets, rolling tobacco and papers and lighters. -For a local market that just began selling alcohol, there is a pretty great selection of cold beer including Bud, Coors and Miller.. Amstel, Sam Adams, Harpoon, Stella, Hoegaarden and much more. -The wine selection is also quite impressive, ranging from cheap Gato Negro to the finer, more expensive wines. Basically, Sarah's exceeds the expectation of what you would expect from a local market. ~Cafe Grade: A Excellent food, excellent service. I would recommend any of the omelets for breakfast.. but make sure you're hungry! The coffee is OUTSTANDING! For lunch, the Middle Eastern Veggie Wrap is my number one. The sandwiches and wraps are always delicious, and always fresh. For dinner, the salmon with the lemon, caper and white wine sauce is quite delicious.. a meal you would expect in a service restaurant. ~Service Grade: A+ The employees are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Only good experiences. ~Criticism I have heard or Read~ -Overpriced- FALSE. The prices are cheaper than you will find in Harvard Square, and are appropriate for the area. -Slow Service- The only time I have experienced slow service is when it's pretty busy.. and thats BECAUSE IT WAS BUSY... it's a small cafe, with a small kitchen. Expect a wait when the place is filled with people.. but if you have the time, it is worth the wait. **************************** Overall, Sarah's Market and Cafe gets an A+ from me, and I will continue to support their business. I am sure you will enjoy your visit.

Yelp
I work right down the street from Sarah's but I also travel quite a bit. While away, the one meal I always crave is Sarah's chicken curry. I don't care if I've just landed from a red-eye, I will be at Sarah's that day, ordering this miraculous yellow curry with peppers, onions, broccoli, cucumbers, mushrooms, and of course, a huge amount of grilled chicken. I sometimes have to ask them for LESS chicken because they are so generous with it. Served with saffron rice that cannot be replicated anywhere. It's $11.95. It will last you two meals. Or if you eat it in one sitting, you won't want to eat for the rest of the day... Other go-to's are the Chicken Caesar Wrap, South of the Border wrap, Portobello wrap, or any of the salads. Or breakfast. Or anything with grilled chicken... obviously, I could go on and on. The best part is, the staff is so friendly (mainly from South America). Some of the guys are a bit shy but if you strike up a conversation, they'll open right up. They're always willing to make accommodations, or whip up some random sandwich for you if you don't see anything you like on the menu. Never had an even remotely bad experience with the staff here. Notes: -It gets busy at lunch and there's limited seating. It takes ~10-15 min for the hot food to come out at peak times so it may be better to go on the early/late side of lunch or order to go. -It's generally quiet in the afternoons/evenings so a good time/place for girl-talk over coffee. -Right next to the hot food service is a cafe, complete with a fantastic beer selection. Maybe a few bucks more than your average liquor store but it's just a small convenience store. I can't say enough good things. Just do yourself a favor and go. I've lived here for 8 years, and I can tell you there is no place like it in Cambridge.

Yelp
When this place opened a cafe I was leery. I thought, why would anyone open a cafe across from Armando's & Hi-Rise, and Full Moon down the road. Well, I WAS WRONG!!! It's great to have such a friendly low-key place in the neighborhood to grab breakfast, lunch, dinner, or take-out. The staff is as sweet as can be, and they really seem to care that you're happy with your order. They remember you if you go in frequently and treat you like they're glad to see you. Favorites: French omelette (we get it with french fries), burgers (we order ours on lettuce instead of buns), spaghetti bolognese, pancakes. The bacon isn't very good and I don't think I've ever seen thinner slices -- but that's okay. I make bacon that is so much better than any restaurant I've ever been to, so... that's all good. Their convenient mini-store is great -- you can choose your own beverage to go with your meal, and even grab some things to take home. They have a nice selection of gourmet and standard choices, even organic and natural products, as well as things like Kraft Mac-n-Cheese. Really nice people, and I'm thankful to have them in the neighborhood.

Yelp
I had been hearing great things about Sarah's so I decided to check it out. What I found is that people were spot on with this place! It is both a market and a cafe. The market has a fairly good selection (including wine and beer) and the cafe is really cute. While at the cafe, I ordered a chicken ceasar wrap and it was delicious! The menu itself includes a lot of other unique sandwiches and wraps and a pretty extensive breakfast selection. I live in the area so I definitely see myself grabbing lunch or takeout from here more often.
google avatar

Anne K.

Yelp
I love going here to grab lunch! Quick take out service (I typically call and order ahead - however there are 15-ish tables to sit down and eat). I love the middle eastern veggie wrap, but everything on the menu looks delicious. The staff is SO friendly. One side of the place is a small restaurant and the other a small convenience store. I would definitely recommend going here for lunch and I am looking forward to trying breakfast here some day!

Yelp
Sarah's Market & Cafe is one of those places that reminds me that I am still living in a real neighborhood and community. As a frequent patron of this store and its friendly cafe, I am always greeted with a welcome 'hello, how's the family?' by the staff. The store carries the basic necessities as well as a great variety of foreign and domestic red and white wines. They also provide a deli case with a nice cheese selection as well. In the back of the store has a wonderful cafe that serves an amazing breakfast and lunch menu as well as lattes and espressos. The staff is friendly and attentive and the cafe is always clean and well-stocked with utensils and napkins. The blackboard menu offers a great variety for both breakfast and lunch and is frequented by young and old alike, especially on the weekends for breakfast. Sarah's clean and well-lit cafe is a great place for both young families to get out of the house on the weekends with their children as well as professionals to meet for business discussions during the week.

Yelp
What a gem! Had dinner with a friend. Our entrees were outstanding. I mean seriously good! Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared. The sauce in my chicken curry dish had me doing the moan of food ecstasy. This is the food I would expect from a fancy restaurant, and here it was in a very unpretentious cafe. Portion was enough for the leftover meal I eagerly anticipate tonight. My friend was equally pleased with the light sauce on his salmon and especially loved his accompanying french fries. It was 8:30pm Friday. Only two or three other tables were occupied, which worked in our favor, because the place was comfortably quiet and our meals were prepared in a very reasonable amount of time considering the high quality. Why not five stars? I am just not a guy who throws around five star ratings. The ambience and friendliness level were less than perfection... yet I have no complaints whatsoever about either of those things. Clean, warm, simple decor; Efficient, respectful service. I say: Don't change a thing. I have patronized Sarah's countless times in the past for groceries, bagels, breakfast and pastries. Didn't know what I was missing with their dinners. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
I really wish Sarah's market could make up its mind about what it wants to be - convenience store or cute little sandwich shop. I'm neutral on the idea of the small restaurant sort-of attached to the convenience store. Seems there is a bit of a separation here...but then again, there isn't. Making it worse is that the food preparation area is just behind the counter, which would be fine in a regular sandwich place but somehow just makes the place seem a little too busy. Sandwiches are a bit pricey, approaching the $8 range at this writing. The selection includes traditional varieties, wraps with a ton of extra ingredients thrown in - the Middle Eastern Veggie, for example includes nine items - and a number of specialty dinners mostly featuring pasta. I like the slightly edgy choices of ingredients in the dinners. Definately some effort points are scored here. Located on Concord Avenue, Sarah's Market serves an important place in this neighborhood. It's not a great value, but it offers a lot. Best to leave the car at home, though...parking in the area can be a bit rough. Still, worth a visit.

Yelp
This review is more for the Cafe than the market, because I'm too cheap to buy from the market. Working nearby, I think this is one of the best lunch options in the area. The Cafe guys are super nice and sweet, the selection is large and prices are reasonable. And.. get this.. $5 CLAM CHOWDER FRIDAYS! You can always find me in line for that on a Friday... mmmmm. The chicken caesar salad has more chicken than salad, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your tastes.

Yelp
I've been looking for a place that serves Sunday brunch without a half hour wait, and I've found it! Sarah's Cafe is slightly removed from the Harvard Square bustle, and refreshingly peaceful and quiet. Located inside a marketplace, this place is no frills but has a surprisingly good breakfast menu with most things under 8$. We walked in at 11:30 and seated ourselves by a huge window right away. I had the breakfast combo and got two huge blueberry pancakes, bacon, and 2 eggs. It hit the spot, even though the bacon was overcooked. I also tried some of the corned beef hash, which was tasty! Not a impressive place, but one that I can see myself becoming a regular at nonetheless.

Yelp
Refused to let my 2.5yr old daughter, who is learning to go to the washroom and trying to avoid an accident, use their employee washroom. Had to pack up our food, and leave, so she would not wet herself. Ended up standing outside as she cried, having to go to the washroom, and not being able to eat her breakfast. These people are without decency or class. Bad Cambridge neighbours.

Went here today for a quick bite. Great deli sandwich was yummy and big. It looks like some customers are regulars.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! A great little convenience store that has an even better little restaurant. The store has a fantastic selection of beer, wine and food-stuffs. The restaurant has a HUGE menu with a friendly staff and very generous portions. If you want good food, friendly service and you can drag yourself out of Harvard Square - this is a great option.
