I was lucky enough to be able to have Tipsy Pies as the dessert at my wedding. Sara does an incredible job not only with how delicious and perfect her pies are but with having all the details organized and laid out for me to follow and plan for. She treats you so well as a costumer! I now travel an hour for some phenomenal and homemade desserts because they are so worth it.

For those if you looking for a hidden gem, this store is it! Making super cute, unique pies and baked goods fresh for you and your special events. That's right, people have these pies at their wedding receptions, grad parties, family reunions and more! I loved physically going to the store because it's nice to shop again and see people's faces. I brought my friends because I had bragged about how tasty the pies were and they ended up leaving with super cute handmade clay mugs, aprons, kitchen goodies, and sweet treats. I like that they support other local homemade producers and gift supplies, because that's what makes the world go round! Leanne is a wonderful pie baker and we love her 😍 Sara's staff are so friendly, helpful and really love to help make people's days sweeter. Oh! They also have coffee LITTERALLY from one of their friend's family farms in Costa Rica. Talk about straight from the source! They have Costa Rican creamer, too (😱🤩🤩🤩🤩😱 so good!!!). 10/10 recommend. Hot pies. Frozen pies to go. Goodies. Artisan Coffee. What more can you ask for??? 😍😍😍😍

Lucky me! I had a last minute request to bring a dessert to a neighborhood gathering on my way to our cabin. I asked Google for a pie store and it lead me to Sara’s! I bought a pie, some tarts, and other items. The pie was a huge hit with the neighbors! Thank you, Sara’s Pies, for saving the day!!! I’m excited to eat all the other delicious goodies I bought today from the darling store.

Google
I'm celiac (gluten free) and was reccomended to check out Sarah's Tipsy Pies while visiting Stillwater. I was expecting them to have several GF treat options but they only had one - none the less, it was delicious! I also got a super tasty Elderberry Lemonade. The Tart is a GF Irish Pecan. I would return should I be in Stillwater again!

Google
Great little gem in Stillwater. I was happy to see they had more gluten-free options this time. I do wish there were more gluten-free pies available. It's become a tradition to visit everytime we come to Stillwater. We can't wait to come back!

Google
We heard about Sara from my husband's uncle and when we met her we instantly knew we would use her pies no matter what the cost! Sara was so easy to work with, even when I wanted to reduce the number of pies a week before the wedding. She was super friendly and treats all of her customers like they are her friends. I would definitely recommend for wedding desserts or even for parties or just because you want to have pie one night for dessert! Her pricing is very reasonable especially for such a unique dessert option.

Google
Best pies I've ever had! Fresh, flavorful, reasonably priced, and great service. A must stop shop while in the Stillwater area. A+++

Yelp
Stopped here after having coffee nearby. I've seen Sara's Tipsy pies at the Mn Statefair. Never knew they had an actual bakery. I do not care for pie at all (but my sister does) so I was excited to see they offered other baked goods like cookies and donuts. I seen that they had a bit of frozen items as well like pizza, pastries (some savory ones), individual pies and a bit more. Some of the frozen pie flavors almost got me try one but I decided to get a donut instead. The donut was okay. My sister enjoyed her peach pie (she took it home & warmed it up). It's a smaller shop. They do have a table to sit down and dine in if you wish otherwise it's grab & go. Looks like they also had some deals going on. Staff were nice and appreciative of us stopping by.

Yelp
Sara catered our grad party brunch and provided 3 different kinds of savory pies (the "Mason" was the favorite!) and the most delicious cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted! Our guests loved the food. Sara was wonderful to work with and was so accommodating. Whether you're just stopping by her shop for a quick, yummy bite or looking to cater a larger event, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Food: Great! Everything we ended up trying tasted wonderful! Service: Very friendly. Top tier, even. Ambiance: A bit cramped but a nice place nonetheless the less. Would recommend getting your food to go and then going to find a park!

Yelp
Came upon this cute place and was amazingly shocked at how delicious these pies were. I myself am not someone who likes overly sugary things and once I tried the strawberry and rhubarb pie I was in heaven! It was so delicious and the right amount of acid and sweetness. I also tried the blueberry one which cake with lemon and wow that was such a beautiful combination. The crust was a star in itself even the small burnt edges with a crisp were just divine! They sell savory pies, and a bunch of other local products ranging from jewelry to alcohol mixers. They also offer parking so that was convenient to know. Seriously can't wait to bring friends and family here.

Yelp
The raspberry pie was all crust. The savory pies are mainly crust. Disappointed. But the doughnuts are great.

Yelp
We had Sara's Tipsy Pies cater our wedding and we got so many compliments!! Firstly, just a warning, if you do a wedding tasting with her, you do have to pay $50 on her online website (which makes sense, since you are eating her food) but you get SO MANY SAMPLES. And whatever you don't finish you get to take home with you! Since we originally hired her, she's added bundt cakes (a million times yes, get these, the lemon ones are my favorite) and donuts and a few other things - all delicious. Sara was so nice to work with and was willing to adjust numbers and options when I discovered the new items she added to her menu. She has various shapes too, so we were able to make the vegan irish apple pie a heart (so it was clearly different and stood out for the vegans) and my favorite flavor, the blueberry, the shape of MN which was so fun! Not only does she caterer to vegans, but she also has gluten free options as well! (These went so fast at our wedding) All her pies are the perfect size for not sharing without feeling like you ate too much and the booze keeps everything moist but is clearly baked out so it's safe for kids/isn't really alcoholic. The pricing is very fair for what you get and Sara is so sweet. She gave us a separate box with samples of all the goodies knowing that we'd be too busy on our day to seek out food and flavors and this way we got some put aside just for us to enjoy the following day while we were recovering. Also the "cutting" pie is the perfect size for sharing and you get another one on your one year anniversary! We got a custom cake topper for our wedding pie and she was so helpful in trying to help us figure out the dimensions. Every treat ended up being individually boxed to keep everyone safe with COVID going on, and it worked out super well because we had a ton of food for our meal, so people got to take these pies home as a sort of favor as well. The snickerdoodle cookies (also a hidden gem) were also individually bagged and made good treats for later in the night. Sara's been so great to work with and I definitely suggest stopping at her physical location as well. It's a cute coffee shop in Stillwater, and a coffee and one of her pies make the best walking companion when you are strolling the streets downtown. Highly recommend for catering or just a snack!

Yelp
Is MN becoming a pie haven? I was at the Lowell Inn for a luncheon. This came up on the radar. I love that it's off the beaten path so you can park. Everything is mini me size. I got two apple and two cherry. I ate around the crust first. Some were flat and some puffy. I grabbed the puffy ones. I loved these, everything a hand pie should be, light, flakey and delicious. I wonder if the person who came up with this recipe was a teetotaler like me and likes to get booze in food. I read through every review and couldn't wait to try these. It's a nice ride over on 4th St. checking out all the amazing houses, many Victorian. I can't wait to do the summer pies too. A quaint store with lots of extra goodies.

Yelp
Wow...I both love and hate this place. The hate towards myself since I have little or no self control when it comes to Sara's pies. So awesome, I always have a few standing by in the freezer, you never know when the urge to gobble down a mini drunken pecan pie will overcome you. So you can imagine my delight (and terror) when she announced that she was opening a coffee shop where you could not only enjoy a freshly baked mini-pie, but also local pastries and some of the finest coffee I've ever had. It is both a blessing and a curse. Its a cute little shop with great smells and amazing treats. To top this all off, she makes full size pies for the holidays. This year she added a drunken pumpkin crunch, which is one of the finest pies I've ever had. It's drunken pumpkin filling topped with a pecan crunch topping. Unfortunately, I only ordered one and our Thanksgiving guests were savages and it was the first pie to disappear. Will definitely order 2 or 3 next time she makes them.

Yelp
What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. I'm just a lonely traveler from Texas always in search of Beer, Food and Sweets. Sara's satisfies two out three of those, all in a cozy shop in a quaint town. Big flavors coming out of this small shop I tell ya. I would recommend something specific but all 3 pies I had I would recommend so I say just go for it all! The cherry on top was the great smile and service I received the moment I walked in. Thanks, Tipsy pies!

Yelp
Sara's tipsy pies is a quaint spot that's a bit hidden. It features other small businesses that also make tasty treats. I had the pecan tipsy pie and my tipsy partner had the strawberry rhubarb. I liked mine best but I wouldn't turn it down. These pies are best when warm and maybe even a dollop of your favorite topping, whipped cream- the real stuff, none of that cool whip imposter crap, or maybe even some king of the scene ice cream. Surprisingly the coffee was delicious but the homemade creamer takes the ultimate prize. My only criticism or un-filled desire was a spot to sit and eat a warm pie inside. We went during the dominating season of cold in MN and I can't help but wonder if I would have ended up with a romantic memory eating a warm tipsy pie at Saras with a cute guy. Don't skip this place, but maybe take it home and surprise your romantical person, or anyone you love with a warm tipsy pie with a dollop of (real) cream, maybe even in front of a fireplace. Please note these can be enjoyed anywhere, so Don't think twice about giving Sara your money and eating some pies.

Yelp
I got these while I was at the Canterbury Corgis & Cupcakes event, and they were pretty dang great! We had two choices - a liquor-based pie or a wine-based pie. Clearly, I chose the best one and got the wine. It was a blueberry & (maybe?) prosecco one - super light and fresh. I will say, I wish the crust was a little bit crisper and the filling was pretty sweet, but it was still delicious. So fun and creative!

Yelp
I just wanted to start off with Sara's pies are delicious! They were the perfect choice for our October wedding and everyone loved them. Not only is the pie awesome put Sara was a pleasure to work with from the process of tasting, to ordering, all to day of delivery. I would not hesitate to use her again or recommend her to others! Thanks for helping to make our wedding day so special!

Yelp
French crawlers (?) I think they are called were the best I've ever had. We got the Irish whiskey pecan pie and it did not disappoint. The store is adorable the staff was great. We will be back.

Yelp
Took awhile for it to open based on projections. But once it did I am happy with their pies. So far I've had an apple and pecan pie. Both were wonderful. Staff is polite and relaxed, I hope to have other items in the future

Yelp
Excellent service, easy ordering and delicious pies!!! I used them for a corporate catering event and they delivered the pies, set them up, and everyone them!

Yelp
I don't understand why the good reviews. The pie filling is made of canned fruit ( apple and peach). The whole experience was bellow average

Yelp
Sara's Tipsy Pies are the best! We stopped by and picked up some Tipsy Pies for dessert earlier this week. The Irish Whiskey Apple and the Irish Whiskey Pecan were so good that my wife and I decided to join Weight Watchers so that we can eat Tipsy Pies more often. Call for an appointment at Sara's (now in Stillwater) and be sure to meet Sara herself who is as nice as her pies are tasty.

Susan S.

Yelp
All positive. Appreciated the size of the hand pie. Just enough for one. Tasty pecan filling. Sara expresses devotion to her product and customers.
