Review: A Timeless Escape in Unmatched Comfort From the moment you arrive, this hotel transports you to a more gracious time—where hospitality is heartfelt, the surroundings are serene, and every detail is lovingly considered. The setting is simply beautiful: nestled in a scenic, downtown location with inviting outdoor porch spaces perfect for sipping coffee at sunrise or unwinding with a glass of wine at dusk. The rooms are nothing short of luxurious—elegantly appointed with plush linens, refined finishes, and thoughtful touches that make you feel not just welcomed, but cared for. Each space feels curated for comfort and calm, blending old-world charm with modern convenience. Mornings begin with a farm-to-table breakfast that is truly sumptuous. Everything is fresh, seasonal, and made with evident care. From homemade bread specials to locally sourced eggs and produce, it’s not just a meal—it’s an experience. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. The staff embodies warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs before you even realize them. It’s a rare level of attentiveness that makes your stay feel effortless and special. And if you are fortunate enough to spend some time chatting with Kathleen, the owner, you will regale in the storied past of Saratoga! Altogether, this is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place to savor. A reminder of how travel used to feel when things were slower, kinder, and more personal. A superior hotel in every sense.

We had a wonderful three night stay at the Saratoga Arms last month. We had been there once before a few years ago, and the hotel was as charming and comfortable as we remembered it. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff is friendly and professional, the location could not be better, breakfast served on the front porch is a wonderful experience, and the free snack bar in the lobby is a lovely touch. A special word of appreciation to the concierge, Sara Mikula, who was extremely helpful! There is no other place to stay in this lovely town.

My wife and I recently stayed at Saratoga Arms for four nights. We cannot say enough about how great our stay was. The room was a king suite and was beautiful. The staff was incredible. All very friendly and engaging. Everyone was helpful and had ideas where to eat and shop - we had never been in town. The breakfast is wonderful and beautifully done. The location is great too and right on the Main Street for restaurants and shopping. We will definitely go back!

I had a wonderful stay at Saratoga Arms. It’s a charming boutique hotel that’s very clean and well cared for. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Our room was nicely appointed, comfortable, and spotless. One of the highlights was the complimentary beverage and snack station – such a thoughtful touch that really added to the stay. Overall, a great place to stay in Saratoga!

We have been returning to this wonderful hotel for years. It is the epitome of grace, elegance and old world charm. The staff are incredibly attentive to your every need. The grand dame, Kathleen, is just the most wonderful, interesting and entertaining lady that I have ever come across. She is so delightful and accommodating. We don’t want to overlook the culinary delights prepared by their chef as well. It was not surprising to see one of Americas top chefs enjoying breakfast at the table next to ours. We look forward to staying there again next year for the races and sales!

My husband and I stayed at the Saratoga Arms for a Skidmore College reunion weekend. It was the perfect spot for access to Skidmore, shopping, restaurants and more. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved the extras: the list of room amenities sent ahead of the stay, easy parking, the guest pantry of yummy snacks, morning coffee, ice tea and lemonade in the afternoon. We will definitely be back!

Can't say enough good things about Saratoga Arms and the team there. The rooms are gorgeous, the food delicious, the location unbeatable and they truly have thought of every amenity, creature comfort or service anyone could want. The best!

Yelp
I only went to the restaurant for a late breakfast, but I'm glad I did. The patio is perched at the top of a staircase giving the customer a nice view of Saratoga's city lively streets. The scrambled eggs and Sausage made for the best breakfast I've had in Saratoga during my one week stay. The eggs were fluffy and the plate full of color contrast. Pleasant and attentive service, recommended

Yelp
Lovely property and great customer experience with the staff. Everything is high quality and you can tell the owners and staff pay attention to the details. Ethan and Joel at the front desk were outstanding! large, updated rooms; great set up with free--delicious homemade!--snacks and drinks as well. highly recommend this property.

Yelp
We stayed at the Saratoga Arms motel during our stay in Saratoga this past weekend Despite the horrible dining experience we had the night before this place was ok except for the night front desk manager tryibg to sell us his horrible artwork and constantly telling us to watch out for the Aliens of which he called the greys was extremly unsetteling. Telling us he was abducted by aliens and taken to another galaxy to probe his brain. This completly freaked my wife and daughter out to the point where we left and stayed somewhere else the next night. As far as the rooms they were small and outdated and a little dirty. We wont be back.

Yelp
What a wonderful place to stay. Bit expensive and not our normal hotel class but OMG. Everything is just perfect. Guest pantry with snacks and water and other drinks. Towels large enough to actually wrap around you after a shower. Made to order breakfast that my husband said was the best French toast he ever had. Big beautiful porch to enjoy a drink. Staff is incredibly responsive. Owner chats with you on the porch. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
The Saratoga Arms exceeded my pleasant expectations on every level. The staff went above and beyond and were all so warm and welcoming. I stayed in a standard king room that was very tastefully decorated in a nod to the classic Saratoga traditional. The entire facilities were stunning and impress even more in person than their photos. They provide plenty of included perks like the amazing and expansive included breakfast experience and the ever-well stocked complimentary guest pantry. They also offer a variety of services for a charge to cater to your stay there. I couldn't have been more impressed with the hotel. I look forward to my next trip.

Yelp
Saratoga Arms is one of those old school bed & breakfast places that looks like it was been there for years. It has some serious The Shining" vibes. We were in the king room and it was spacious but the room has an older charm to it. The lobby also has a lot of charm and they have a couple fireplaces that are going all day. Sitting by the fireplace in the lobby is very quiet and relaxing. One thing I suggest getting is the breakfast. It is phenomenal and homemade. The price is a little high but this isn't your typical hotel breakfast. They make it to order with fresh ingredients. I had the zucchini omellette with canadian bacon. My wife had the pancakes and they were fluffy and beautifully done. So good. Everything was spot on and for $22 a person it better be. The hotel price was a little expensive for the quality. It is an older place and looks like it. The rooms are spacious and the location is good though so that is the positive news. Cool spot if you like the old school vibes!

Yelp
Saratoga Arms was one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've had. From the time I booked to check out, service was top notch. Our room was spotless and roomy. Breakfast was delicious...highly recommend adding it on to your stay! The porch was the perfect spot to enjoy some wine and laughs with my friends. I look forward to returning soon!

Yelp
I had such an amazing time here, I actually extended my stay here with my boyfriend. The staff was so hospitable attentive and kind. The place was kept spotless and the housekeeping staff did a great job too. Our room was so nice (room 210). There was a gentleman who helped us with our bags and throughout the trip (forgot his name), that really made this a great experience for my boyfriend and i. I loved the peace and quiet at this hotel and their breakfasts were so yummy and plentiful. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, weekend away, this is your place to go. It's also nicely located on broadway, where all the best shopping and restaurants are. I will definitely be returning. :) Thank you staff at Saratoga Arms for making my long weekend stay a great one.

Yelp
Really nice place in the center of Saratoga Springs run by the same family for many years. Owner adds personal touch by talking to each guest individually. Her grandkids are working as waiters and it's really nice to see. Rooms are not big in size but very clean wit comfortable mattresses and bath robes for extra touch. Morning breakfast is wonderful too served either in our room, on the front porch or in the dining room. I can see why this hotel gets a perfect rating

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location absolutely cannot be beat and the owners and staff truly treat you as a guest. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at this hotel and look forward to staying their again on our next visit to Saratoga Springs.

Yelp
The inn is beautiful and has a great attention to detail. The amenities, including the complementary waters and tremendous amount of snacks is the cherry on top. When is Saratoga bet on the Saratoga Arms, it's a sure win.

Yelp
This place was delightful! My boyfriend and I went for a nice getaway. I was working in Saratoga for the weekend, and he made reservations at Saratoga Arms. When we arrived, we truly did not want to leave our room! It had such a special atmosphere, was extremely clean, and every detail was paid attention to from a small snack area with complementary treats and luxurious bath products in the bathroom. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco from the front desk and had Chinese food delivered to our room! The next morning, we woke up to a beautiful breakfast, and the owner came to speak with us. We loved her personality... And the entire energy of this bed-and-breakfast! We definitely found our home away from home!

Yelp
Perfectly situated on the quiet end of downtown Saratoga the "Arms" provided three days of Labor Day comfort. Not too far and not too near from the electric downtown activity. The restored Victorian style hotel can be described as a museum unto itself. The dining room and various areas including a parlor and lounge are comfortably maintained. Breakfast (8-10am) was included in our stay and 24 hours soft drinks and snacks were also available. We decided on a Garden Level King which provided fireplace (unused), whirlpool and a private terrace (quite often used) with a private Broadway entrance. Extreme welcomed comfort and enjoyment although upstairs main door conversations could be heard. Daily room maintenance was perfect and never intrusive. Front desk is there to help and offer suggestions on dinner and all activity options - very courteous and most certainly professional.

Yelp
Love this hotel, BUT, stayed there recently and when I went to take a shower there was someone else's hair on the walls and in the tub. When I reported it to the front desk I got what amounted to an "aw shucks, that stinks", but nothing was ever done about it. I still love this, place but I can't help but be disappointed in the staffs reaction to my concerns.
google avatar

William B.

Yelp
Thanks to a mix of obligations and travel delays, my stay at the Saratoga Arms ended up being very short -- much shorter than I anticipated -- but I nonetheless benefitted from the unusually kind service. Even though it is a tiny operation, somebody waited up until 2 am and cheerfully checked me in; and when I needed a place to do a little work the next afternoon after check-out they were just as hospitable as when I'd been an official guest. Sometimes it's the little touches that rub the most stressful edges off of a busy travel schedule.
google avatar

Jane F.

Yelp
This is our 4th time here and was very disappointed with the service we received. We stayed 3 nights with 2 other couples and at times were the only guests staying at the Inn. Both Front Desk clerks were rude and indifferent. They clearly don't want to be there and it showed. The owner was pleasant and accommodating, but this will be our last time there.
google avatar

Aliza M.

Yelp
Less than 1 star. The staff is extremely rude. EXTREMELY rude. We pulled into their parking lot to go into the hotel and my husband was asked a question from an old lady who works there and he misheard her and answered her short. She got angry and even went as far as to say I should rethink my relationship! Do people like this really exist? Will never recommend this hotel for any reason whatsoever. Based on staff alone, AVOID THIS PLACE.

Yelp
Recently stayed here for 3 nights with my husband for our anniversary and loved every last second of it. Everything about this place is beautiful, well-maintained, and thought-out. We'd never even been to Saratoga Springs before but would go there again pretty much just to stay here. The location is fantastic - we walked here from the Amtrak station in I'd say less than 30 minutes, (or about a $6 cab ride) and you're within literally a block or two of about a million shops, restaurants, parks, museums, The breakfast was amazing every day, and the amenities were incredible - we had one of the basement/garden-level rooms that has a fireplace, private entrance, and giant whirlpool tub, and basically I never wanted to leave. Another example of the thoughtfulness put into constructing this place - despite being on street level, mere feet from one of the busiest streets in town where there's a near-constant flow of foot and car traffic, the room was so well-insulated that we never heard a peep of noise from the outside world. Not to mention that, since we came in March/off-season, the rate was MORE than fair. Basically, I don't know why you would stay anywhere else in this city. Literally my only complaint is that I wish the curtains had been fitted over the windows instead of inside the windowframes, because that kept it from getting truly dark in there at night. (But I'm spoiled, since we work odd schedules and therefore have huge blackout curtains at home, and as a result I'm used to sleeping with literally no light at all.) The epitome of what a b&b is supposed to feel like - the friendliness and home-ness but without the feeling that you're sleeping in your creepy, cat-obsessed aunt's spare bedroom.

Yelp
What a gorgeous little boutique hotel. The place is centrally located on Broadway, very close to a bunch of great restaurants, bars and shopping. There is ample parking on the side roads. I loved the porch which looked like Auric Goldfinger was going to serve me a mint julep while I read a newspaper. The room was beautiful and we were told every room is a little different. Very clean, great bed. The only problem in the room was the shower. The drain was very slow, so 5 minutes in and the water was already up to your calves. The place had free breakfast and it was wonderful. They make a hot dish any way you want, and have a buffet of fruit, bread, cereal and such. There is also a table by the front door with free coffee, tea and fruit to grab and go. The staff was very sweet, knowledgeable of the town and helpful. Great place to stay.

Yelp
This was a very nice hotel. Apparently it is one of only two in NY owned by the state. Staff is overly friendly, but it is not affected. Outside, the place is beautiful, and they have "private" spaces for you to park in. Hotel gives you the feeling that you are in a B&B, but it is more like a hybrid. Rooms are big and clean - at least mine was. They left us a nice note congratulating us on our anniversary. There is a nice porch to sit on, and they provide wine glasses etc for you to use. Breakfast offered in the am. Advertised as a traditional Irish breakfast, but it is really just a small buffet. During our stay, they made scrambled eggs to order. I would go back here in a heart beat. Not sure how it compares in terms of prices, but it is worth the cost we paid for the charm and personal service.

Yelp
My wife and I were looking for a getaway trip together, and we have had day trips to Saratoga when in the area, and thought it would be a nice place to spend a quiet weekend. When we were there in the past, we always admired the look of this hotel from the street, and thought it would be a nice place to try. I can honestly say that my expectations were exceeded! When we arrived, the person working at the desk was very nice and set us up with parking and showed us to our room. My wife ordered the charcuterie plate before we arrived, and it was waiting in the room for us. We decided to have it on their beautiful porch with a glass of Prosecco, and it was the perfect start to a relaxing trip. The hotel is beautiful with modern touches, but still maintains its old world charm. The common areas are comfortable, especially the porch, and they have an area called "The Pantry" which has snacks and beverages which are included in the price of your room, and they have a great breakfast buffet with special items that are made to order, which were all delicious, and these are also included in the room price. Our room was very clean and comfortable. After having our drinks and cheese plate on the porch, we spent the rest day walking around shopping and having dinner. The location is perfect because it is right in the middle of town, and once you park your car, you won't need it to do much. If you've never been to Saratoga, you have to try it. When we were done with dinner, we headed back to the hotel and decided to have a glass of wine on the porch. They provide games to play out there, so we sat and played Scrabble and drank our wine. While we were out there, the owner came out, and we had a lovely conversation with her. The gym is small and bare bones, but you can get quick workout in if that's important to you. The price might seem a little expensive, but it was worth every penny. You definitely get what you pay for here. This is going to be our new getaway spot.

Yelp
This hotel is conveniently located right on Broadway, and they have the coffee and breakfast right by the door so you can grab something and go right before you leave. The layout is extremely beautiful and classy its a beautiful hotel to stay at. The people who work at this hotel are extremely helpful, to making reservations for us, to telling us where the best place we can buy a mattress in Saratoga is they can do it all. If I was going to stay in Saratoga again I'd defiantly stay at this hotel, its comfy, classy, and convenient. what else do you want with your hotel? Oh and it comes with complimentary breakfast! The room was also very nice, the bed offered the best sleep that I've had at a hotel in a while. Perfectly supplied with a lot of pillows which I appreciate. The room was really beautiful, and offered a safe in case I had any valubles.

Yelp
Stayed here with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. We're both from the Baltimore, MD area but live & work in NYC. Couple of quick bits to know about the hotel - It's not exactly quick walking distance from the train station, or the race track, but it's definitely walkable. That being said - the location in relation to the rest of the town's attractions is fantastic - it's a short walk to some of the best restaurants in Saratoga Springs proper, as well as all of the downtown attractions, shopping, & dining you might be interested in as an out-of-towner. The room was almost perfect, aside from a few issues with the fireplace (which were quickly addressed) I would say it was perfect. The bed was fantastic, I appreciated the extra heaters, and the whirlpool tub was amazing. (Just to be aware though, we had the bottom-floor suite - which while it had everything you'd need as a traveler the floor did get a bit cold in the wintertime) Regarding the breakfast, They have an adorable dining room, although the breakfast buffet on the weekend was much more to behold than the weekday breakfast, I was always pleasantly surprised. (Another side note: They've got a very limited menu when it comes to breakfast, it's essentially a 2 or 3 item pre-fix menu that rotates daily, so don't come in expecting pancakes and waffles and hashbrowns and giant omelettes stuffed with bacon and cheese) Also: The service was fantastic, they were probably the most attentive hotel staff I've ever dealt with, to the point where I started to feel like they were fawning over me a bit too much, but they clued in pretty quickly and left me to drink my coffee and eat my bagel in peace. So I appreciate that. So, There you go - If you're going to visit Saratoga Springs make sure you check these guys out!

Yelp
Nice and very large for a bed and breakfast. The rooms are all new and beautifully decorated. We sat on the front porch with the owner and spoke for awhile. She was very sweet and we enjoyed her company. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and all who work there are very kind.

Yelp
My family and I decided to visit Saratoga Springs from NJ since we heard it was such a lovely area. My husband booked us at the Saratoga Arms which we thought was a bed and breakfast. We've been delighted by the amenities as well as the friendly and professional staff. It's much grander than a typical B&B but much more intimate than a hotel. Their breakfast is delicious and they have coffee/tea/water and small snacks laid out all day long. We are in a room with 2 beds and it's so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The town is definitely worth a visit but this place definitely made it worth the drive. We will be back!

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about the Saratoga Arms! My cousin and I went for a girls' weekend. The location - right on the main street - is fabulous. The customer service was impeccable. The room was immaculate. They even have a complimentary "snack pantry" for guests - stocked with cookies, chips, yogurt and fruit! We did not partake in the complimentary breakfast (as we wanted to check out some local restaurants), but the buffet looked great and there were made-to-order specials! All in all, a fabulous experience. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Ok. How can this wonderful place not be ranked #1 by Yelp must be an error. Lovely accomodations right in central Saratoga Springs within easy walking distance to most places of interest. The 'Smith Family' certainly knows how to run a first class operation that pays attention to detail. From bed linens to towels to dinning to personnel you are treated like a guest that is appreciated and welcomed. We had a lovely stay and will be back next time we visit Saratoga Springs for sure. You can't go wrong. Don't miss their breakfasts as their chef does a fabulous job. Special kuddos to the front desk person. She's wonderful.

Yelp
What a lovely place, if only the lady owner were as lovely, then it would have received 5 stars. My friends and I came to celebrate a bachelorette weekend, and we were humiliated in front of other guests because we were accused of waking up other guests after hours, and it wasn't even us!! We were also accused of drug use, we feel this was because our skin isn't as milky white as hers. All I'm saying is, if the guests are mainly "older" who practice early lights out, THE SITE SHOULD STATE SO CLEARLY! And should say doors lock at a certain time, we would have stayed somewhere else. The young girls who tidy the rooms were rude but the kitchen and snack staff were beyond courteous and very welcoming. It's a lovely place with a wicked woman running the show! She tried to bribe us with baked goods and a bottle of bubbly! Nice gesture but she was so rude I needed to share. We felt like children in school being reprimanded by a principal! Oh and she also threatened us with her machete!! Stay here at your own risk if your skin is any shade of brown.

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Great place! Love the location, the owner was front and center. You could not ask for nicer rooms. The breakfast was outstanding however the portion were small. I defiantly want more! I will totally stay here again.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at the Saratoga Arms for a 1 night getaway without the kids. The staff was very pleasant, helpful, and friendly. Our room was very clean and spacious, with a nice view. And the best part of all was the food! The breakfast was amazing!!! Everything we ate was delicious! We had some quiche, waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, pastries, oatmeal - basically a lot of food, and it was all included with our night stay! We wanted to keep eating!! If they served lunch and dinner, we would have had all of our meals at the hotel it was so good!!!

Yelp
Saratoga Arms is a beautiful hotel in Saratoga Springs, NY. It has the accommodations of a hotel and the attention to detail of a bed and breakfast. I stayed here with my husband and we continue to talk about how we would love to go back. Saratoga Arms is a family run business. The owner, Kathleen, greeted my husband and me when we checked in. Later in the afternoon, we asked for help and their daughter, Amy recommended several restaurants, evening making reservations for us! The next morning Noel, Kathleen's husband, made breakfast. Kathleen is fabulous story teller and kept breakfast conversation lively! She is a native to Saratoga and is an amazing resource, providing insights on the city you cannot get from a guide book or from research on the Internet. Our room was amazing, a king bed that was so comfortable I asked who made it! The mirror in our bathroom included a television. My husband loved this, as he caught up on scores from the night before while shaving. We took advantage of the massage services as well. Saratoga Arms, and the city of Saratoga itself, surprised us at every turn. It is welcoming, warm and, well, just amazing!!!

Gary K.

Yelp
Wow, I remember this place 40 years ago when I was a College student at Skidmore. We use to cross the street not to get too near the residents. What a transformation. I can not say enough about it's restoration, it's genteel ambiance, the exceptional service of every staff member we saw, and the beautiful and tasteful rooms, period but modern in a perfect way. We watched the Flag Day parade from the front porch (every fine hotel needs a front porch like this one) and felt we had been transported back in time to Saratoga's heyday. Kudos to all involved. Oh, by the way, the breakfast was a treat, delicious and served with grace.

Yelp
Stopped in for a last minute stay and we were very glad that we did. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Family owned and operated with a cozy feel. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Spent this past weekend at this wonderful bed and breakfast. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is wonderful. The proprietor could not have been nicer. This is a terrific place to enjoy the Saratoga Springs area. We totally enjoyed our stay at this fantastic B and B .

Yelp
My son and I visited the Saratoga arms when we were visiting Skidmore College. We loved it. Fabulous breakfast beautiful rooms. The staff was lovely and as helpful as could be.I think of them often because along with the usual assortment of shampoo and conditioner they had the most fabulous lip balm - that may be the best I've ever used. They could probably set up a whole business just selling this stuff. I was sorry we only had one night in this lovely B&B.

Yelp
At the top of our list of quality facilities. Rooms look and feel new, food awesome with ample options, coffee ready at 6am, breakfast from 8 to 10, wonderful owners/operators. Have some wine on the front veranda in the afternoon and enjoy the NY weather (October) and relax after a great day of seeing all the sights Saratoga has to offer. More than enough eating locations within 10min walk.

Yelp
Saratoga Arms sits in the center of Saratoga Springs, NY. This is a beautiful town benefiting, certainly, from the racetrack maybe a mile away from the Arms. The place is large, and recently renovated, and looks exquisite both inside and out. The look is of the updated antique, one can tell care was taken to keep the quaint traditional look of the place, but incorporate the clean and modern styles of new. When we first arrived, we were able to park right on the side of the street. Walking up to the door, we had to ring to be let in. Security is tight, but unencumbered here. We were immediately greeted by the hostess, some coffee, and our key cards and keys. The hostess would become our concierge and knowledgeable acquaintance for the rest of our trip. Having received a king bed room with a garden level entrance, we found this entrance is actually right outside the front door, beyond a slightly lowered patio we could use to relax. The view is of Broadway, Saratoga Spring's main street, but with all the walks through gardens and parks it was nice to relax with a little bit of the street side bustle we were accustomed to. The room was well equipped, and it was apparent attention was made to detail and quality. The bed had tons of comfortable pillows, the robes were soft and comfortable, and there was a small TV just in case. We had a recommendation from our hostess to eat at Putnam Market, which was an amazingly delicious suggestion. The next morning Saratoga Arms made us eggs Benedict, and some extra toast on request. As we were sitting, we saw them entertain the request for egg white omelets with white cheddar cheese and broccoli. They are very accommodating to your requests. The only hiccup we had was that the whirlpool had some jets that were not working. This disappointed my girlfriend, and we called and had the hostess come down and check. It was after 10pm, unfortunately, and they did not get to fixing the jets until the next morning. However, one of the owner's, Anne, sat down with us and told us we could stay for as long as we would like on our check out day to enjoy the whirlpool. When we left at normal check out time anyway, she compensated us appropriately for not having a working whirlpool. I keep this rating a five star because of the thoroughness and attention of the solution we found. As a final note, the masseuse, Linwood, gave me the greatest massage I've ever had. This place is tops!

Yelp
This is a lovely boutique hotel on the main drag in Saratoga Springs. We stayed there one night recently, and for the most part we liked it. Our room was quite nice, the food was good, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. But, the heating system made quite a racket, which kept my wife and me awake half the night, until we managed to shut the damn thing off. The fan, regrettably, you cannot shut off, and we woke up tired and cranky. Not a fun experience. Three stars.

Yelp
Lovely hotel located in the middle of the city centre. You walk out of the door right onto the main street with nice shops and excellent restaurants. The hotel itself seems recently restored and they did a fabulous job. Staff was very caring. I loved the breakfast. They had a small buffet with good quality foods and also offered a daily changing menu of foods you could order. While we where there they had spinach & feta omelets, vegetable hash browns, banana pancakes and warm ham. I assumed they had everything ready in the kitchen so I ordered 3 things on the menu, only to realize later on that the poor cook was making everything fresh. They never made a fuss about it and just made me the foods, which I thought was really nice. They even had gluten free bread!!! Only thing I wasn't happy with was that the duvets where synthetic and I don't sleep to well under those, but that's just me. Oh and walk-in rates are much better than those online!

Yelp
What a wonderful and lovely place our daughter set us up to celebrate our Anniversary and Mother's Day! We walked out the front door to a wrap around porch to enjoy our cheese/fruit dish our daughter planned for us. We so relaxed we didn't want to move, as we people watched and had a nice breeze blowing through. Everything was immaculate, pretty, comfortable, quiet and peaceful and impeccable. The walk along Broadway was filled with restaurants, shops and a place to sit, chat and have coffee. We also enjoyed visiting the Spring and parks close by. The complimentary breakfast was above and beyond anything we expected. The waitstaff was very friendly, pleasant and professional. The concierge at front desk were friendly, helpful with maps and recommendations, and more than willing to help. They made a wonderful dinner for my Mother's Day and it was excellent. The complimentary snack pantry was perfect for end of day for coffee, juice or snacks. Our stay was very quiet, pleasant and peaceful, which we were hoping for. We can't wait to return, hopefully soon! Perfect setting, luxuries and amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed and we were sad to leave. Owners were very friendly, rooms were large and luxurious.

Yelp
My husband and I lucked into a last-minute reservation at the supremely well-located bed and breakfast in the heart of Saratoga Springs. From the moment we called to inquire about an available room, to the moment we checked out, the incredibly warm, friendly and very knowledgeable staff made us feel quite welcome, very well taken care of, and comfortable. Our room was gratifyingly clean, very spacious and comfortable, and the staff accommodated a flurry of requests and needs from us in a short period of time when we arrived, including recommending and securing a reservation for a great restaurant in town on a very busy holiday weekend night, and bringing a wonderful cheese platter that was on the menu to our room in record time. We meant to ask where they got the cheese and nuts which were really fresh and very delicious (and we are picky). There is a lovely pantry in the hall stocked with free snacks and coffee and lemon water, (in addition to a great room service menu and a great breakfast spread in the morning). Finally, though parking was easy and close, they even spent five minutes on the phone talking us through the streets to find additional parking when all spots near the hotel were full because of the holiday weekend.. With a child in college nearby, we've tried several hotels in town. This one, we will come back to.

Yelp
This was a wedding gift and was it fabulous ! The Smith family knows how to take care of their guests ! The ambience was lovely along with a beautiful room with it's own patio. The best part of our stay there was the wonderful complimentary homemade breakfast straight from the farm, along with a 24 open pantry. Fantastic location, extremely comfortable large sized rooms, and accommodating. The only place I will stay upon my return.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at Saratoga Arms in October to get a break from our kids (this place does not allow kids) When we checked in we were greeted by the owner Kathleen Smith who was very nice and wanted to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Our room was perfect. King bed beautifully decorated and VERY clean. Kathleen gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and things to do around town. Breakfast is included and they had a buffet that you can help yourself to juice, toast, yogurt, muffins and fruit and Kathleen's husband will cook eggs for you. All in all we had a great visit to the Saratoga Arms and would highly recommend it. It is a great town and the Hotel is right on the main street, you can walk everywhere.
