Google
Nice Filipino store in Stone Oak. In Tagalog, sari sari means a small store that sells a variety of goods. Navigation took me to the Mellow Mushroom shopping strip, but it's in the next plaza a few doors down from Corner Bakery. Store is very clean, well organized, and with spacious aisles. Staff was very friendly. There are a good variety of Filipino foods, snacks, produce, drinks, and other Asian groceries. In the back, is a small window that sells halo halo, siopao, and other desserts. The items were fairly priced and saves time from driving to other Filipino stores near the Forum or Leon Valley. Just coming back from the Philippines in 2020, the halo halo was very authentic. It's different than American desserts as it's a combination of shaved ice, sweet beans, fruits, and evaporated milk, but is really good. Haven't tried the other fresh food, but will be back to support this small Filipino store in Stone Oak.

I'm so happy that Sari Sari decided to open a grocery store in Stone Oak. Originally from the Philippines, it's a treat to have my favorite food items available so close by. We've been here several times already, having enjoyed the generous portion of halo halo. The item I've bought the most from here is the Magnolia longganisa. It really tastes like home. Every so often for a quick meal, we eat the Lucky Me pancit canton. On this particular visit, I bought the honey ginger tea for my sister in law because she was having sore throat. Of course, had to stock up on longganisa again. I've also enjoyed the homemade cassava cake so hopefully they'll sell that again. Mitchy is always so friendly and helpful. It's nice to see a kakabayan every once in a while.

Ate Mitch is the best ♥️ I’m pregnant and craving banana con yelo and they HAVE IT!!!!! It’s the true saba and it’s perfect! I wish I have words to express how I feel but where has this been my whole life, it made a pregnant lady so happy and made my night. It was worth the extra trip, I love them ♥️♥️♥️ her store is perfect, my picture doesn’t justify the beauty when she first handed it to me cuz I just dug in, it’s the best nonetheless, I’ve never been so happyyyyy ♥️ thank you po!!!!! Will come back soon

Just a small store but they have what you need. 🤭 This is absolutely my “ GO-TO” filipino store here in San Antonio.

Google
This branch of Sari-sari is awesome, always clean, organized, smells nice, the attendant/cashier is very kind and acommodating, also amazingly strong🤭 as he can get my balikbayan box out of my car wheeled it in by himself alone, with ease, impressive! I would always use this store to drop my balikbayan box. The prices of filipino foods and items here are fair and also not expired. I love this place!

Google
Very clean and nice store. The selection of goods is not very big, but there is a little bit of everything. The worker was very friendly. Will definitely come back here

Yelp
I went here for the 1st time after reading the reviews from other Yelpers. Well, they're right. This place is wonderful. The shop is clean, orderly, & set up nicely. Ordered two of pork buns. They were steamed perfectly & were perfect for lunch. I get these, called Bapow in NL, when I visit my daughter in The Netherlands. So good. The employees were helpful, very sweet & willing to show me what I could use for a recipe.

Yelp
Get in your car! Head to Sarisari! Grab yourself a halo halo from this place ASAP! This was my first time here and my first time trying this amazing dessert! My husband called it a meal in a cup lol! Also, grab the garlic peanuts! They are to die for!! We also purchased some lumpia wrappers and there was a great assortment. So many amazing things here! We will come back again and again!!!

Yelp
I love coming here. It's bright and saucy inside. They are fully stocked with real sriracha. The halo halo is just perfect on those days when you want something frosty and cold. The staff is very friendly too.

Yelp
Things I love: good hospitality, organization skills, and good food. Sari-Sari seems to have all three! I came here to pick up something for a Yelp event, and I ended up staying for all that this store had to offer. The Groccery store has so much to offer! I found some hard to find Asian goods that I've been searching for all around town. They also have a plethora of snacks, a lot of which offer Ube or matcha flavoring! Aside from their Groccery offerings, they also offer a halo halo dessert & some filipino snacks that are house made! Also, they are such friendly people! We hadn't tried much of the store so she would give us samples for us to try. I felt like I was around family! Be sure to check it out!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this store! The staff was so nice and the store was really clean and organized. We got so many cool filipino snacks to try. We got to try halo-halo and really liked it. The crunchy ice was perfect for this 100 degree day.

Yelp
Like that there's a Filipino Grocery store closer to me for some goods esp. some vegetables like fresh Bitter Melon, Baby Bok Choy & Gai Lan. Prices are higher than if you went to Asian store like My Choc Dee or Asia Supermarket. I ended up getting frozen Bittermelon leaves vs. the fresh which is Pre-packaged in plastic bags so you can't choose the amounts individually. You could easily pay $13 for packaged Bittermelon based on the bulk weight. Another bummer is that you don't know the quality of the veggie until you get home & open the package. My Baby Bok Choy had been rotten on the inside as some bugs may have gotten to it? If you want products like rice, Mochiko, Ice Cream, veggies, seasonings, snacks, canned goods, etc. & don't mind paying more for the convenience of location, be glad the store is there. Plus they have made-to-order Halo-Halo if that's your thing. I wish them prosperity & more food choices & much success!

Yelp
Very nice little shop! It's located on the corner of a small shopping strip. Upon walking in we were greeted with a warm hello (welcome). My son and I did a little shopping and they had a nice selection to choose from. Everything is so clean and organized. I was given my drink quickly. I had never had their Halo-Halo. It was a nice treat, cold and refreshing for our summer heat. It reminds me of my grams rice pudding but cold. I absolutely enjoyed it. I picked up my passport and little swag bag and was on my way to support local business participating in the AAIP month. My son and I will be back for more goodies and another drink or two! If you're in the area stop and try something tasty from here.

Yelp
My nanay showed me this store and I instantly feel in love with their halo halo. Cute store in the Stone Oak area, very clean and friendly staff. I'll be back again!

Yelp
Clean store. Friendly management and staff. Delicious hot snacks and baked goods and plenty of asian Pantry food items.

Yelp
I enjoy coming here when I'm visiting San Antonio. Has a lot of the Filipino staples I miss PLUS some freshly made snacks (siumai, halo halo, Spanish bread, etc). It is a bit more expensive than what I'm used to but still not a bad price.
google avatar

Alexandria H.

Yelp
Lots of filipino and asian supplies to stock pantry. Frozen veggies, shredded cassava and coconut available too. Fresh chinese longbean, eggplant along with other asian veggies available too. Halo halo and couple other desserty drinks to try while shopping. Easy to find off 1604/ Stone oak. Prices are actually cheaper for items than at sister store inside Sari Sari Supper Club.

Yelp
Super cute store with many Asian snacks/goodies/groceries. They have snacks at the back that you can purchase. The halo halo is a perfect summer treat.

Yelp
I am truly thankful this was a Yelp Elite event or I'm not sure how long it would've taken me to find this place! I'm so glad I was selected to attend. The is a little neighborhood Market with a little bit of everything, non food items, some frozen foods, some fresh foods, regularly grocery items and a ton of little treats. At the back of the store there is a small preparation kitchen that offers very limited food and special treats items. We ordered the halo halo and Taro shake. The halo halo is shaved ice with ube ice cream and a whole lot of fun sweet surprises throughout. The whole thing is sweet but not overly sweet as the shaved ice breaks up the sweetness then it has pieces of sweet things every now and then. The Taro shake was creamy, sweet and a little heavy for me but still really really delicious. They have fresh bakery on Saturday. This little market is an extension of a supper club location they have on Warzbach Rd. Which I will now be visiting soon. This store had my husband nostalgic for his childhood treats. We left with our drinks, cooked food, a t shirt and a bags of candy and groceries. And the staff was suoer friendly. We even returned the next day as well. Thanks you yelp for the elite gift bag, had some great yummiess in it.

Yelp
I was looking for Mochiko flour specifically. This store came recommended for me to find that item! Not only did they have what I was looking for at a cheaper price than having to order it off Amazon. They had so many other awesome ingredients that I've been having trouble finding! So glad I found this place that's so conveniently located in stone oak.

Yelp
My wife and I have been looking for an Oriental market on the Northside for several years and had very little to pick from. Sari Sari is exactly what we needed! It's a small store but has the essentials plus more. They only opened this February and I definitely recommend you to give them a visit!

Yelp
I came here on the hunt for one item- they had it. I often cook stir- fry or bokeums and need an item or two. But the hardest part - there's no Asian market close to us... until now Sari-sari owners greeted me coming in, were present, and very pleasant while I shopped. Being a new Asian spot for me I browsed. They pretty much have every vinegar, oil, chili sauce, and sauce base you could want in your kitchen. I did try new things on the way out- a yucca and sweet rice banana leaf wrap on the way out (like a sweet pastele) and they were good. Kids liked it too. I'll be back.

Yelp
I have to give this place five stars right off the bat for filling a huge gap in the area - it has been a frustration of mine ever since moving to San Antonio that I had to make an at least 30-40 minute drive to get some of the things I needed; coming from a coastal city with Asian grocery stores what felt like every few blocks, this has been a huge struggle. Full disclosure, most of what I purchase here is Filipino snacks (and they have a great selection! Multiple flavors of polvoron, salted egg chips, Clover chops, Boy Bawang, oh my!). However, when I actually do feel like cooking at home (or, asking my grandma to cook something I've been craving), they have most of the staples you will need. Case in point, I've been wanting dinuguan for weeks now, and I was so grateful that lo and behold, there was the Purefoods pork blood! You can also get some refreshments and confections there - mango and calamansi refreshing drink from the back on a warm day are especially nice. And the staff there remember the regular so there is a familiar sense of bayanihan that I didn't get at Chock Dee, where I used to go most frequently because it's the closer option to my side of town. I cannot say enough about this place - sure, it could be bigger, and I wish the restaurant would expand to the Stone Oak area too, but I am genuinely so happy that this place is here!

Yelp
Convenient to where we stayed. Carries assorted Asian food, delicacies and spices. Goods were fairly priced too. Staff were very helpful when you're in search for that one. Would definitely go back again.

Yelp
My first visit to Sarisari store was an opportunity to try something new as well as find a new location to find Asian food and ingredients. I ordered a Halo-halo and browsed the store while I waited for it to be freshly made. I found so many fun options for snacks and ingredients to make my favorite Asian dishes at home. The store was so neat and organized that it afforded customers the opportunity to brows all of the store offerings. I really did not know what to expect from the halo-halo but it was so much fun! I just kept digging deeper and deeper to experience all that the dessert had to offer. Ice milk with fruity flavors along with chunks of cake and candied fruit on the bottom! The way it is made it just makes you want to keep going with one more taste. I loved it!! I am so glad we visited the store because it afforded me the opportunity to try something so flavorful and new!

Yelp
I love that there is an Asian grocery store on this side of town. It's not huge, however it has the essentials and I can stop in for some quick rather than driving across town. Ps. Their halo-halo is a perfect delight during these Texas summers.
google avatar

Yelp
The Halo-Halo brings back memories of when I was a kid in the PI. I highly recommend its unlike any crushed Ice dessert I have ever had. And you can pickup other Asian food grocery you need at the same time.

Welma N.

Yelp
The food is always great and the service no complaints and the cleanliness is good. We come here couple times in a month since we live an hr away to get some Halo-Halo

Yelp
Great addition to the Stone Oak community. Lots of great finds. The employees are awesome. Very patient helping me shop and explaining some of the items I didn't know. I felt extremely comfortable. I've been twice and excited to return and grabs some things and turn my kitchen into a Filipino restaurant.

Yelp
Excellent location. Friendly staff. I ordered halo halo from the snack bar. Whoaaa...blew my mind, was super special. The cup is lined inside with ube jam, has more ingredients than ice. Topped with ube ice cream and flan. Definite must try! Best halo halo!

Yelp
Glad you opened a Filipino store in this area. Long overdue. You have a nice variety of items and hoping to see more!

Yelp
bright and clean but look at the expiration dates and the pre-packaged ubi pan-de-sal. dig for the fresh ones.

Jacob G.

Yelp
Great little oriental grocery store with some nice drinks/shakes style goodies made to order. Great owners, keep up the great work!
