Sari-Sari Store

I consider myself a Sari-Sari Store superfan since they first opened at their beginning location! It’s a part of my routine to source all my specialty ingredients and treats from here as much as possible. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you aren’t afraid of flavor, stop by and get to shopping!

I never write negative reviews. We were very excited to find this store, but after shopping here my card was immediately stolen and multiple charges were made. I did not make any other purchases in the past two weeks on this specific account. I shopped here and nowhere else and the next day there were three large charges on my account. We had gotten my husband a haircut next door but paid in cash for that. As I often try to do to avoid using my card. I am really disappointed because I was so happy to find that store and was looking forward to going back in the future. This really sucks.

Love this sari sari store, I feel like im back in the Philippines! Staff are super kind and the store is organize and super clean! The hot food they have is delicious! Also the halo halo (: Will be back for sure!

Great Filipino focused store with lots of Asian/Islander goods. Baked goods from several local specialty bakeries. Nice selection of frozen treats including a number of Magnolia Ice Cream flavors. Specialty canned foods, Assorted fresh produce, frozen fish along with way too much to list. Clean well organized store with a nice selection of Asian focused goods. Follow their social media for regularly updates on shipments, stock levels and special events.

It was my first visit to Sari-Sari and I wasn't sure what to expect. I went thinking it was just a little "pop-up" food event I saw on social media. I found a wonderful store with amazing food and products. Tried several of the food items since it was my birthday, and they were delicious. My favorite is the Ube ice cream and the best pork skewers!!

I’ve been shopping here since the store’s old location and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the products they carry that aren’t available in nearby grocery stores. After some time away, I recently returned to pick up an item I knew they would have. I received help finding it, paid, and was about to leave when I was suddenly accused of taking the item without paying; because there was no one at the front. (The cashier who had just checked me out had stepped away from the register when we were done,) but when I went back inside, they confirmed that I had indeed paid and I was free to go. This experience was upsetting and left me feeling that there’s a lack of trust among staff. As a darker-skinned person, it was also uncomfortable and disheartening to be placed in that situation. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I don’t plan to return.

Those events should not be missed as they always deliver on delicious flavors. They always have great updates on their social media of what they have in stock as well as their weekly hauls of fresh produce, noodles, and more. I love that they always try to get popular, viral products too as it can be hard to find those in more mainstream Asian markets. The staff here are always friendly, patient and helpful. I have never had a negative experience and even when they are packed, they always provide excellent and friendly service. The store itself is well organized and stocked. Happy that they got a new place as the space is definitely being used well and allows them to do so much more!

Good store with foods and snacks from Asian countries (Philippines, Korea, Japan, etc) and Pacific Islands. Great customer service.

This is a great place for specialty foods. The staff is always super helpful! It has a familiar atmosphere and good prices for the specialty items.

Well this will be a short review. They no longer serve hot food but have items in the cooler case. Like dessert etc. Also when we walked in there was no Hi or acknowledgment or even drop dead. Nothing! Not even when we were wandering around did any of the 2-3 employees ask if they could help us.

Food: their cafe is currently closed but when I came here last they served some sisig and it was good! My husband said it was more menudo type but either way I loved it! Service: the Ate's here are sooooooooo nice! They're so funny sometimes o just want to stay and chismis with them. Ambiance: omg it's so cute here! The place is huge and it seems they are still filling out the place but it honestly has majority of the items that I need when cooking Filipino food! They even have some other Asian commodities like kimchi, takoyaki l, fruits and veggies!

Not worth the price....its not what they claim it is!!! The Dubai chocolate is actually Hershey's chocolate syrup, pictures don't lie....if I could give negative stars it would get -5 the Ube crunch had no Ube flavor except for the 3 pillows on the top....the halo halo was really watery, non of the items we purchased looked like their pictures(advertised) $14 for sour strawberries thrown in a cup n drizzled with white chocolate or chocolate!!!! I DONT RECOMMEND!!!

The sq footage on the store is quite big. Lots of room to walk around and stroll the aisles. It is a smaller store with minimal offerings but you will find your Filipino basics. The prices are on the higher end of other shops I have been to but for the only Filipino store in the area, makes sense. They have a small frozen section with items like lumpia wrappers, bangs, milkfish and tocino. The produce is also small section but basic necessities that you may need. They get their produce shipped in about once a week. We purchased some Filipino snacks and some bread that they had. I don't remember the baker of the pan de Sal I purchased but it was horrible. We threw it away and didn't finish it. Customer service was nice. They were friendly and polite. Offered us a box for our goodies since I didn't bring a bag in. I should note they no longer offer hot foods and had I known that, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to visit this location.

Lots of Filipino items. Convenient if you live down south and can't make it to the bigger stores. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes you get greeted, sometimes you barely get talked to. Good variety but I often question how fresh things are like baked goods or desserts in the cooler. Worth checking out though!

I love this store! Been coming since they moved to their new location and overall have been super happy. Rarely do they not have something I'm looking for and typically it's a popular item that got snatched up really quick. I'm always greeted and someone is easily accessible when I have a question. Store is always clean and well organized. Prices are fair too. Definitely a got to place.

Such a small store, I wish they had more! First time visiting and it wasnt busy during lunch hour on a weekday. Didnt have pan-de-sal available nor carried longganisa as I had hoped but they had the other items I was looking for. Parking wasnt terrible and was readily available. The store is situated in the corner of the strip mall and easy to spot once you drive in. Overall, will definitely come back again.

This Yelp post was for a first time visit back on 7/1/22. And yes, it was a long haul from Shoreline, north of Seattle! The Homie and I were here in the Puyallup/South Hill/Sumner area for a later family lunch get together. We had enough time to detour and check out this family-run indie business, Sari-Sari Store. Popular spot on a Friday mid-morning before the 4th of July holiday weekend. Parking can be a bit tight with a lot of in/out traffic. Once we entered, we were greeted and felt welcomed. They have a lot of merch, produce, baked goods, sundries, canned goods, frozen items like most Fil/FilAm shops. However, I did notice that it was well stocked, carefully curated, organized, and wow plentiful fresh and refrigerated produce! We made sure to cover each aisle and found quite a lot of variety and decent prices. Pretty much any ingredient or item you need to do any cooking, baking, or snacking - Sari-Sari Store has it covered! Well situated and probably helpful in a pinch without having to trek to other Asian shops in Lakewood, Federal Way, or Kent. We ended up with Filipino branded beverages, Tocino flavored peanuts, a spicy condiment, and some really tasty addictive snacks from Malaysia and Thailand too. Terrific find and definitely recommended!

I can't Understand how a business get' s cleared to open.. without providing a Restroom so not comming bac I'll driv lil further too Seafood city in South Center mall Seattle ..

Overpriced mediocre food. Not even a true sit down restaurant & they expect you to pay for less than quality products. Establishment has arrogant workers. Ambiance is meh, simple store & not super clean. Could find the same things they offer for a greater value elsewhere, as well as get better food w/ better quality & better prices than this place. Get rid of the Dubai chocolate strawberries & invest in bettering your business & quality. Maybe if the establishment presented itself to a higher caliber/standard then maybe it would be up to par for the prices they're asking you to pay. Nothing special here, very cheaply made products & overcharging for low quality low effort mediocre food & snack items/desserts.

Every time I stop in, I feel like family. The staff is so friendly and always happy to help. I love the variety of items I can find, and the fact I can find quite a few of my day-to-day needs here, too!

I found this place on Facebook and I'm really glad I did! I've been here twice in the past few days! They have such a wonderful selection of ube desserts and their halo halo is to die for! The people who work there are EXTREMELY friendly and make you feel like home from the second you step in the door. Please go check this place out!

Has everything you need for your Filipino groceries. Always friendly when you walk in too. Hopefully, they continue to grow and eventually offer hot-food on a consistent basis

Very grateful to have this store in town as I've come here a few times to buy a few last minute items I've forgotten while I was in Tacoma. Don't let the size of the store deceive you as it may look like it's on the smaller end, but they carry quite a lot of different items! They had everything I was looking for and were super friendly. Not to mention, they had some cute stickers that I couldn't resist buying for my husband.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and courteous to the customer. They carry many Filipino brands in their store and have fresh produce to select from as well. If you're looking to support local businesses, this is one you should most definitely support!

The girl yesterday afternoon with the short black hair was nice but the other little brown hair female there makes our trip weird every time. She flirts with my man everytime making comments like "don't let me stop you" in long flirty chimes like girl if it's not embarassing enough that he ignores you the fact that we make fun of you everytime should. Do your job mind your business and stop following him around the store everytime we come in it's weird making eyes at him smiling and following him you look desperate .. it's odd work behavior.

I've never reviewed a store before. But let me tell you about my excitement to find this gem in Puyallup. I was probably too excited, because the young lady working told me they've been around for 2 years... Where have I been?! Small, snug, but we'll stocked. I found everything I needed for my love of cooking international foods. I may have to venture to my other locations to find some specific coconut cream... But I'll use the kind they had to see if I like it!

They have everything I need if I need specific ingredients to make Filipino food! Glad to have this store in this area.

They want you to TIP the cashier to ring out your grocery items!!! TERRIBLE!!!! I do not like the fact that you ask for a tip on your machine just to ring out my groceries! She didn't even bag them up. I am thankful we didn't buy more or I would have had to give a huge tip! Didn't see a way to bypass the tip and stupidly gave the girl the easiest $10 of her life. Wait. Maybe I should work here? Nah. I couldn't imagine how horrible I would feel if I expected a tip to ring out groceries for 20 seconds. TACKY! We would frequent the old location across the street but now I actually will never return. Their prices were already high as it is, now you gotta tip the cashier.

I'd like to start by saying it's incredible that this area has something like this as it gets boring seeing the same chains up and down Meridian and nary a place in Puyallup to even find ethnic food, The ladies working there were helpful and friendly and whilst the selection was good it was not as vast as the pictures I seen online, I went in specifically for the ube hot cake mix and they were out but I got regular mix and some of their ube flavoring and made it work :) Most of the bakery stuff brought in from local bakeries was a little stale and not very good for the price There was alot that was a little overpriced but there was a ton of stuff that was very well priced it all depends what you are looking for and just being able to find it there will save you on postage or travel. Worth mentioning that I was double charged for an item but I do believe it was an oversight as the woman ringing me up was talking with myself and another lady and probably did it by accident. Overall I will be back with the family especially as Summer nears as I seen they have all sorts of cold drinks they make during Summer!

First off, google tells me to turn down these residential streets but it's right next to the bank. It's a super small store! If you need your basic sauce but don't want to deal with long lines, this might be the store for you. We got some fish sauce, snacks, and frozen ban Bao there (didn't know that was a thing!) It is bbq pork flavor and I can't wait to try it. They have some fresh veggies there too. We got there right when they first opened so she hadn't put everything out yet. I was expecting this to be a little bigger with more selections but it just opened so I hope they expand because there isn't too many asian markets in that location.

Love this store. Especially there Halo, Halo, which used to be seasonal. I can't to visit the new location.

So grateful to have this store close to our home!! They pretty much have everything I need to make simple filipino/asian dishes minus the meats. I believe they have frozen ones but I prefer fresh so I don't have to thaw. They have a good selection of veggies, snacks, condiments, all the things!! The employees are always so nice too :)

This store hits you with a tip request for groceries! I get it if you're eating there. But asking for tips bagging your groceries?

Cute little shop. They have a lot of Filipino snacks, seasoning, marinades. They also carry some fruits and veggies. They also have a frozen section that carries lumpia wrappers, Chinese sausage etc... The ladies are always so friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have

This place has everything I need to make all the Filipino dishes I grew up with. The people there are all super friendly and are fun to talk to. Big bonus is that their current location is an amazing view of Mount Rainier especially at sunset

Just having a Filipino Store is already great, but naming it "Sari Sari Store" is very clever!! Its such a great conversation with my Filipino family when I told them that I went to a Sari Sari Store. Great store. Very well let and very clean as well. They have a lot of choices of different varieties of Filipino stuff, food and even ice creams (my favorites). It is a small store, but it has a lot to offer because they have a lot of options. This is a great store for other Filipino families that live around the Puyallup area. This is a great addition to other stores around the area. It is located somewhere hidden, but I am sure anyone can find it quick if you put it in a Map App in any smartphone or even in the computers and laptops.

Friendly and super helpful staff! They even placed a few items on hold for me! I also like how their social media page is very active and will inform you with recipes, new products, and visiting food trucks. Will definitely have to catch one someday!

I believe this is a Filipino store but it is so nice they have authentic Asian goods. I would have to either drive to Lakewood or Federal Way to find a store that sells great delicacy.

Love that Puyallup, WA now has a local Filipino grocery store. It may be small but it carries about everything and anything you need to feed your Filipina needs I especially love that they carry Ube condense milk!!!!! And local sweets made by Filipino bakers like Krystal's Dulce De Leche cakes! Yum-o!!! Or the puto flan by Custard & Things are SARAP NA SARAP!!!! A big thank you to the associates that keep Sari Sari up and running. It's a wonderfully clean store.

I am so happy there is an Asian market in puyallup. They had a really good selection of snacks and treats and we also picked up some yummy ube bread. I always have a hard time finding Asian ingredients at the grocery stores in puyallup but this place had a lot of things that I have been looking for. Lots of unique finds here and it was a fun shopping trip. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Finally!!! A Filipino store In Puyallup. I am so glad they opened one. Sari Sari Store is colloquial word in Philippines and the equivalent of a corner store in America. They have it all the sauces I need Suka (Vinegar), Toyo (Soy Sauce) and Patis (Fish Sauce). They have different types of Mama Sita's Mix, Tomato based Sardines, Lucky Me Noodles and Candies. If you are looking for dried Mangoes they have it here too! They even have Tender Juicy Hotdogs! I can go on an on of all the things they have but I would rather encourage every Filipinos to check this place out and see what this store has to offer. This place is really convenient because I no longer have to go to Tukwila just to get my Tender Juicy Hotdog, Dried Mangoes and plus my Goldilocks Polvoron. The staff are very friendly too, they mentioned that they also serve Filipino Food too from time to time. I will definitely come here often.

I'm so glad an asian market opened up in Puyallup, it's small but has a lot of the main staples for Filipino cooking. And lots of yummy snacks. So happy to finally go and see what it's all about. Defiantly coming back.

The food selection is very good, but the prices are horrible . Sure the new store needs to make a profit, but not a killing; Dang. I was super happy to see they carry in Sarsi Rootbeer, but i was appalled by the $1.89 for a small can (not bottle) that is 70 cents more then the nearest two competitors (Saars and East Asian Supermarket) and it gets worse when you order by the case (they claim to give $5 off a case but that is really added in for the aluminum can deposit). Next, their cup of noodle soups are priced from $2.29 each up to $2.99 each, but can be found for a mere 99 cents at Fred Meyer Supermarkets & Targets throughout Pierce County, WA for the Nong Shim brand. I was happy to see this new store in Puyallup, WA , but after shopping a few times i think i will stick with the local other stores i have always been going to. It's just not worth travelling to just to be getting ripped off with truly high prices.

I am glad my daughter-in-law told me about this place. Finally, we have one Asian store here close by. We don't need to drive 30 minutes to find ingredients we need for our Filipino dishes. It's just a small store but they have a little bit of everything. It's a very decent and clean Sari-sari store. Itaguyod ang sariling atin. Mabuhay!

My family loves this little asian store. The owners and family are super nice and humorous. If you want something special they take requests and food is always fresh. I love that they are just up the road from my house. I think if they found a better building and had a bigger sign it would attract more people. Not many people know what Sari-Sari means so might wanna add Asian grocery store to the both of the name.

Ahhhhh finally a Sari-Sari store in Puyallup close to our home we don't need to drive 45min to get our Filipino food and snacks. The store is clean and the staff are friendly!!!! They have variety of food selection including fresh vegetables!!!!
