Tabletop grills, generous banchan, and a salad/condiment station make this family-run spot a go-to for DIY feasts. Creative Loafing Tampa Bay spotlighted its convivial grill-at-the-table experience and the Lee family’s recipes that anchor Tampa’s Korean dining scene.

Me and my wife stopped by for some dinner , we had a great time enjoying the meats in the bbq selection and afterwards, we went directly to the k dessert cafe right next to it and it was amazing. This wasnt my first time enjoying the drinks and it was just as good this time around. Suki did an amazing job with every drink as per usual and i enjoyed it very much.

Seafood pancake is delicious. Other dishes are ok, the bulgoki beef is too sweet. The service is excellent.

A hidden Town & Country Korean BBQ gem. I forget about this place & then I remember why it’s so good & happily put aside the strip mall aesthetics to enjoy another meal here. Service is good. Portions are huge. Everything is tasty. Restaurant is clean. Big dining room with seating that feels semi-private. Good menu selection. Don’t forget to try a soju & a soup. Broth bases are so good. Great place for a date, group of friends, or family. Will definitely keep returning. Highly recommend. You will not be Sari.

Expensive for the buffet… doesn’t come with any appetizers or salads… salad bar is only cabbage and onion… not really a salad bar… ala carte pricing is also expensive but portions are large…

Cozy, clean, service was very nice, food was served quickly. Meats seemed well seasoned. To be honest, the meats did not seem like the highest quality, probably USDA but not USDA prime. The ventilation system was superb, the temperature (in hot Tampa) was perfectly comfortable. We came during lunch and there weren't many people there yet, but I can see this place getting crowded. Good kimchi and good dips.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of visiting that charming restaurant yesterday for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed with our entire experience. Our waitress, Mina, stood out as exceptional; she was not only polite and friendly but also remarkably knowledgeable about the menu. With a warm smile, she took the time to walk us through each item, providing detailed descriptions that helped us navigate our choices with ease. The food itself was nothing short of fantastic. The expertly cut and perfectly seasoned meat was a highlight, bursting with flavor in every bite. I was particularly taken with the kimchi—it had an exquisite balance of spice and crunch that elevated the dish. The accompanying cucumber and raddish provided a delightful contrast, with their crispness adding a refreshing burst to our meal. To my delightful surprise, the fish cakes were absolutely delicious. The flavorful soy paste served as a dipping sauce was a perfect complement, enhancing the without overpowering them. Mina, I sincerely hope to see you again during our next visit! While I will admit the meal was a bit on the pricey side for a casual lunch, every bite was well worth it. This establishment not only serves as an ideal spot for a family outing but also sets the perfect ambiance for a romantic date night. Overall, we had a wonderful time filled with delicious food and excellent service, and we eagerly look forward to returning.

Google
One of her favorite places to eat You get to try meats we've never had before and you cook them yourself. I just wish the service provided extra sauces you have to keep asking for more but you run out of the sauce is pretty quick other than that it's delicious. The atmosphere doesn't really matter to us but they could probably do us few updates on the inside. They should probably promote this place with a few specials.

I have been going to SaRiOne for over two decades. Their food, kind staff, and nice ambiance always bring us back for repeat visits. They recently started to offer an all you can eat buffet but my husband and I weren’t hungry enough for that experience on our last visit so we ordered a la carte with their galbi and spicy kimchi soup with tofu. We had the choice to cook the galbi or have it cooked for us. Due to time constraints, we chose for them to cook it and it was delicious as usual. They brought the usual side dishes, which I love. I like how they are not wasteful, as they stated if we would like to swap out any of the side dishes we could so we opted for double kimchi and declined the fish one. We plan to try the buffet next time.

Yelp
Honestly , the experience was underwhelming. The meat could use more seasoning overall ( most of us at the table did the unlimited K-BBQ) I ordered veggie dishes a la carte and both of those were good. Multiple tables , and can accommodate different sizes. I will say if you're not ordering the same style , you will likely be challenged on that ( they tried splitting our table and I interjected) Relatively quiet ambiance - it is also a bit warm. At the end, someone was suddenly using a power tool and it was done for me.

Yelp
Service used to be great. Lately when I go it's been going down. Today was not good at all. They forgot our drinks. Everything is an up charge. The side dishes are not unlimited, but they give us small portions for our table of 6 people. It's not even enough to feed two people. If it's limited, they should give a set of side dishes per entree. It was warm and muggy inside. Not comfortable. Food is still good. I really think this is it for me. There are better Korean restaurants in town I'd prefer.

Yelp
I'm wavering between 3.5 and 4 stars. The food is good! Really satisfies the desire for Korean food. But the all-you-can-eat is a bit confusing. Each person orders it, which is fine, but then we're offered 4oz or 8oz portions of the meats. After almost being charged extra for not eating all of our food, I guess you should only order 4oz portions at a time especially if it's a small party. The extra charge thing is a turn-off. It was nice that our server didn't end up charging us, but that was only after saying he'd have to if we didn't eat more. Then I'm sitting there trying to eat more and he comes back and says he won't force that on us. Why can't we just take home our table leftovers??! We paid for it, and you don't want waste. So, just know this about it before you go in so expectations are set.

Yelp
We came here multiple times in the past and it was always decent. It's hard to find a good Korean place in Tampa, so it used to be ok for some Korean cravings. We haven't been here for a few months and we were extremely disappointed this time. I would never come back again. Service was absolutely terrible. It was never great but this time was horrendous. And it's ok to have not amazing service if you don't charge much for your food but their prices are not cheap at all, so if you charge this amount of money, you should have a decent service. Also the receipt when you get has an option for tip 18% or 20% or 25% like in some upscale restaurant. Not sure who will give 25% for this service, it's laughable. Ambience is decent, nothing special as it used to be. However in the past, bad service and semi decent ambience was tolerable because the food was good. About food: they changed the menu, so the items that we used to order are no longer there. The only hot pot they have is with beef, so if you don't eat beef, you cannot get a hot pot. At least that's what I understood from the waitress. Menu is super confusing. I ordered squid with vegetables and received a huge plate with onions and a few tiny pieces of a squid for $20+ for one portion. I was very confused why it is called "vegetables" and they just give you a pound of undercooked onions ... not sure who can eat that. Waitress came to ask if I need a to go box and I said "no, because it is just onions, I am not sure what this meal is about". She told "squid is very expensive, so we cannot give much of it". And she left. So basically I paid $20+ dollars for a pound of onions. I am honestly confused why they put squid in the menu if they give a tiny piece of it, that's just a rip off. Overall terrible experience, will not come back again. They need to make a decent menu, hire new service staff or maybe pay current staff more, so they are nicer.

Yelp
Decided to come here for early Valentine's Day dinner since everybody has a busy schedule this week and trying to avoid the busy crowds on Friday. Parking was perfect and plentiful. Stopped by my favorite Boba place next-door at Mrs Suki's. Had an enjoyable conversation and was seated immediately with no wait. It was Super Bowl Sunday We really love the original Sa ri on Cypress for Korean dishes. For some reason, I thought this place had hot pot as well , but it only has Korean barbecue. There are two pricing packages $25 or $35. Which ever package one person at the table chooses ,the rest are required to purchase. KIND of makes sense to avoid food sharing however as we upgraded to the more expensive package one of the meats was not available. I believe it was steak. Yet we didn't ask for a discount. The salad bar was subpar . Offerings are oranges watermelon cold shrimp fried rice, some salads and some soups . To be honest, I find this Korean barbecue place unsatisfactory and ordinary. The good meats they only bring out in tiny portions. But for example, the meat that had a ton of fat and tasted horrible. We got a mound of, so of course we couldn't finish the plate as nobody enjoyed it . They won't let you try more than three meets at a time, even if you have a table of four. And when we left, he said he was supposed to charge us for any unfinished food. in short, I think we will stick to our usual hot pot places with a handful on Fowler Ave., which offers more of a selection on the salad bar. The quality of the meat here is sub standard and the service was just OK. Lastly, I honestly feel bad for disclosing this, but I take my health very seriously . We know that this neighborhood flooded during the hurricanes and nothing was remodeled or replaced including the wooden booths. I have Town & Country homes that flooded and we have had to rip out drywall in kitchens because they will grow mold once exposed to standing water . There is no way to remediate it correctly with chemicals or air filters . I have terrible mold allergies and have had a massive headache and horrible runny nose since visiting this establishment. Yet I somehow avoided all colds and flu during the winter, even with sick kids in the home.

Yelp
As of May 24, 2024 this place now has all you can eat kbbq as an option. They just started it up again. It's not worth it. It's $40 for their premium menu and it still doesn't have LA Galbi. Don't forget the mandatory 18% for service. The kimchi side dishes you have to get yourself and aren't really all that good. The chicken cuts of meat are... The weird cuts of chicken and they taste weird even through all their marinade. The more I think about it the more annoyed I get at this sub par kbbq spot. Sure, there are sides and a salad bar but they're not even average for the most part. They had a section for chicken tempura which was more like soggy doughy chicken? Shrimp fried rice but no white rice? I ordered things from the menu and some were marinated and when I ordered it again, then they weren't marinated. Some of the menu items were good but for what you're paying, this place is not up to a good quality standard.

Yelp
This place is a fantastic experience! I've been here twice. Once on a first date and once with my lady and my kids and both experiences were unforgettable! The place itself has nice decor and the atmosphere is always pleasant. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful. I've never had to go wait to be sat down. The food is phenomenal and the experience of grilling it yourself and eating it in multiple ways and combinations is straight up FUN! This second time, we ordered seafood noodles and a rice dish for the table. Also got some dumplings. Can't think of any part of it that wasn't perfectly seasoned and flavored. Just a hit across the board! I will 100% be returning to this place. It's an experience I want to introduce anyone I can to.

Yelp
Really cute place! It's very easy to find in the plaza and the food tastes really well! The only thing I was not happy with is that the service was extremely soon and the restroom was gross

Yelp
Best Korean food I've ever had. My mother in law is Korean and she picked this place and enjoyed it also! I picked up my food to go but the inside was very busy & nice decor. The hostess was very friendly. Great service!

Yelp
The singer and actress UI greets you at the front door. We started off with the usual hot barley tea, a Korean meal accompaniment with many meals. The kimchi mandoo and meat mandoo are homemade, but the kimchi has pork in it. :( We also wanted the tuna kimbop, but they are out of tuna. Really. It's canned tuna. Our waiter John took good care of us during our meal. We ordered a veggie Kimbap, kimchi jeon, tteokbokki and chicken gang jung. $67.51. The banchans: radish kimchi, kimchi, bean sprouts, shredded pickled radish and kimchi cucumbers. The kimchi radish is the better of the 5 banchans. We did ask to have the bean sprouts. I think we didn't get the full set because we didn't order a grill meat at all. The tteokbokki wasn't bad. The rice cake is maybe just a tad too al dente and hard for me. The spicy chicken was a large serving, maybe even enough for 3 people to share with other dishes. The waiter split it up for medium and spicy for our portion. I couldn't eat all of the food and my chicken portion, it was too much. The chicken wasn't too bad, although the meat was too dry. The Kimbap was good. Was packed and had a food portion of veggies to rice, a nice thin layer rice, that's what it should be all about The kimchi pancake was tasty. I was pleased they gave us a bigger ramekin of the dipping sauce and not too little of it, as per usual. I wasn't happy to find the red stained mug on the opposite of of where I was drinking on the second glass of my tea. Should have kept my first cup. Service was good.

Yelp
Second time coming here and this time it was on a Tuesday night. I can't stress how busy they were and how short staffed they were. To start, we stood in line for about 20 minutes before someone could even seat us. Once we sat down, it took another 20 minutes to get our order taken. We kept our eye on the line at the door and since a host wasn't present, no one was getting seated. People were getting frustrated and leaving. We almost left thinking our food would take forever. The combo we ordered actually hit our table within 10-15 minutes of ordering. So we were happy about that. We started grilling and eating. We really enjoyed our dinner. The flavors. The meat quality. The server had brought everything out on the first initial drop that we didn't need them for anything. We finally ended our meal and had to flag someone down to get us a box and the check. When we did, the server came with a machine and we were able to check out immediately versus waiting even longer for our card to come back. Long story short, it was worth the wait.

Yelp
Good service, our waitress was patient and knowledgeable, answered all our questions and helped us select a good soup dish. We got the Yook Gae Yang (S2), comes with with noodles, veggies, beef and egg, we were warned it was spicy but we asked for mild, end up not spicy at all and was very good. Also got the Bul Go Ki Beef dish, it was delicious, I always enjoy this dish and they make it good here. I recommend the beef skewer, smoky flavor and the mean is lean, not fatty at all and very good, also got the chicken skewer but the beef tasted much better. Comes with rice and 8 side dishes, seems more side dishes than offered at other korean restaurants. Came on a Saturday night, place was busy but no full, we were able to get a table right away and fast service throughout.

Yelp
We went on July 4th around 1pm and it was completely dead so it was good for us since we got full attention from our server. He didn't inform us but since it was a holiday, it was dinner prices all day. No problem, we were okay with that. All locations have stopped doing AYCE so it's now priced by 2 or 4 people or a la carte. We decided to just order from the menu instead since we all wanted other items from the menu too. Regardless of which portion you order from the menu, the prices were pretty steep. The galbi lunch was $18.99 but the galbi dinner was $29.99 and it was NOT portioned at dinner at all. We definitely like we got hustled. Ttoboki: 5/5! So good! Kimbap: 5/5, also so good! Tempura Vegetables: 2/5, it was too oily. Bonchon: 4/5 but it's not unlimited! Lame. Jjampong: 3/5, it was smoky but not bad. Udon: 4/5, very tasty! Galbi: 4/5, tasty but portion was small. Chicken katsu: 3/5, tasted like chicken nuggets. Overall, it was very pricey but still better than ordering KBBQ for four because that was already $140 but with all the food we ordered, it was $150 and included tip. Service was good but we definitely will not be returning for the steep food prices. You can definitely get more for your money's worth elsewhere.

Yelp
First things first, this place was about an average Korean restaurant, it didn't completely wow me, but also wasn't the worst food I've eaten. The design of the place was simple nice to look at. The service was alright, not the most attentive workers, but they also weren't the worst. The food started great! The seafood pancakes was way bigger that I thought and was a solid appetizer, and the Tok Bok Gi was pretty tasty. Then comes in the beef soup we had and the Bul Go Ki beef box. First off the soup was slightly warm, instead of hot, and they had forgotten the sauce for the Bulgo Ki. When it came to taste, both were just okay, tolerable enough to be edible, but not overly flavorful. So yes certain aspects of this place and these dishes were good, and the others were lacking. 3/5 would come back for those pancakes and Tok Bok Gi for sure, and maybe for the K-BBQ.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this place out, until i started eating :( First things first, the place was nice, looks clean, and quiet. The workers are okay. Literally sat where the registers are or wherever the servers hang out while waiting for customers. You can literally hear them argue about cash and all that stuff, which i think it's kind of unprofessional. One of them said "today was actually not a bad day, real humans". Our server was nice i guess even though he had a bit of an attitude in the beginning. FOOD: pretty disappointing. It's not all you can eat KBBQ, it's super pricey. the meat quality is not the best, seasonings and marinate lack of umami flavor. they only give you 2 dipping sauce: salt/pepper with sesame oil and doenjang (korean fermented soybean paste). Their Kimbap was warm, and it lacks flavor. i think the only thing that i really liked here was Sundubu-jjigae. overall, 5/10 wouldn't come here again.

Yelp
Came in for lunch today and it wasn't busy at all. Seated right away and food and service was pretty quick compared to other visits. I ordered the Bulgogi beef lunch box and some kimchi mandoo! Boy was it scrumptious!! And the portions was big enough to do me 2 meals! Their full menu is available for lunch.

Yelp
Well didn't expect much of a Korean restaurant in Tampa but it was surprisingly good. We went in for lunch and ordered fried dumplings, kimchi pancake and kimbap for appetizer. We also ordered couple of soup dishes like galbitang and doganitang as a take out. Also we ordered japchae and some chicken dish. We brought home had those for dinner. My whole family was in the agreement that they were all good. Originally I wanted to have some noodle dish for lunch but the restaurant ran out of ingredients so it was unavailable. Other than that small disappointment, overall the food and the service was excellent. Looking forward to try some BBQ on grill next time I visit Tampa!

Yelp
It's been quite some time since I've been back here, so I figured I would drop by to see how they were doing. The Pandemic has definitely changed a lot of things. I'm slightly disappointed that they no longer have AYCE KBBQ. However, even without all you can eat BBQ, the food itself is still pretty solid. I ordered some kimbap and Kimchi Jjigae. I was actually surprised by the number of kimbap pieces they give you. Those were some large well stuffed kimbap. Very delicious and definitely more than what most places give you for an appetizer. The Kimchi Jjigae was good as well, and came out boiling hot as you expect. Although they were short staffed, the servers were still courteous and did a good job :)

Yelp
They used to have an all you can eat option but that has since then changed. The food was good. The sides were also good. You cook it the way you like it so be prepared to work a little. Also it is pricey so be prepared for that also.

Yelp
3 things about this place: 1. One of the Korean restaurant was closed on Mondays so decided to give this place a try after having Sa Ri One Restaurant. One waitress was working the whole time so some of the items were slow to coming out. 2. Combination B was ordered which included pork belly, beef bulgogi, jumulluk, beef brisket, and LA galbi. The marinated meats like the bulgogi, jumulluk, and LA galbi were a little heavy on the black pepper. Meats other than the galbi was thinly sliced so didn't wait long for them to cook. 3. Korean cold noodle was also ordered. I've been to different places trying cold noodles and I thought the place in Ft. Lauderdale had the best one, but this place beats it. Hands down the best Korean cold noodles in FL. This noodle tasted like you would eat in South Korea. Some people might think noodles that you eat should be hot but when it's more than 90 degrees, you crave something cold. I highly recommend this item and if I lived near Tampa, I'd get this more often as I could. Overall, it's a great place and the place was bigger than I expected. I would DEFINITELY come back and try other items from their menu as well.

Yelp
I've been craving Korean bbq for few weeks so friends and I made plans to meet for lunch. Unfortunately they stopped serving AYCE (all you can eat) bbq. You would think they would add that somewhere in their website. They do offer meat combos you can buy but comes out too pricey. Other than that, food was fantastic. Vegetable tempura, Jop chae, Gang Jung were great. Gang jung was def a crowd fave, fried boneless pieces of chicken drenched in spicy gochujang sauce. I'll def order this again. I didn't like beef bulgogi, it was so sweet. The sweetness took over and i couldn't taste anything. Overall, few hiccups but great meal nonetheless. I would hope the restaurant makes few changes on their website since it still shows they offer AYCE bbq.

Amanda J.

Yelp
All you can eat for $25.95 per person. Pork gal bi was good. Ask for lettuce. Nice buffet where you get some fried rice and oranges and watermelon and onions and soup. Nice restaurant inside a shady strip mall.

Yelp
Posting so that the latest menu is public (as of 11/6/2023). I felt this was important because there are so many different menus floating around and the prices have substantially increased. Not to mention the additional fees they are charging now if you pay with a credit card. And the extra cost for kimchi sides and rice. I wish they had an official website so you'll know what you are paying for with online ordering. The food has been pretty good over the years, but I think it's overpriced now, especially for the portion sizes. I feel they are a la carting you to death. If I go back it will probably be for a lunch portion and with cash. I'm a bit concerned about some of the reviews however .

Yelp
Was feeling like exploring local offerings of Korean BBQ on a lively working week day - Monday. To say that Tampa isn't typically known for Korean food it's to say it all. However, *pause for effect* I had found my favorite Korean BBQ place! Food itself is quite delicious and fresh. Your combos are served with steamed white rice, kimchi and romaine lettuce. Serving size is pretty hefty and if the combo option you've picked says "feeds two" - they really do mean it. There are many great choices of meats that will satisfy any carnivore preferences. We ordered combo B with some meat mandoo dumplings. Mandoo were huge! We should have ordered 6 instead of 10 pieces, but we had some yummy leftovers to take home with us. Service was phenomenal, our waiter was very sweet and answered all the questions I had. Your table has a red service button if you need service, so that was a neat feature that I haven't seen before. The restaurant is located at the strip mall and is divided into BBQ larger dining area and a small pastry/coffee shop. I'd like to checkout the pastry shop soon. Place is pretty big and well decorated without any cluster. Very clean too! Plenty of parking, so that's always a plus. Will be coming back soon!

Yelp
Stopped for lunch take out and no one inside. Reduced stars for the poor customer service. The staff directed us to the paper menu by the register for take out. Lucky I looked at my credit card receipt and noticed that the prices were different from the menu. The lunch galbi was $3 more and the meat mandoo was $4 more than the menu. When i questioned it, they said it's an old menu. Then don't leave it out and don't point us to that menu to order our take out!! The employee had to ask the owner who didn't speak much English. Basically was told it was an old menu and after some hesitation, she gave me money back via cash. There was no cash available yet so he had to walk next door to get cash and just handed it over and said nothing in regards to sorry for the misunderstanding. Poor customer service!! In terms of the food, the galbi had good flavor and the sauce for the salad was peanut and sesame which was good. The bibimbop was good but not much flavor without the sauce. We were told the meat mandoo were homemade and very good compares to the Yakima mandoo which is store bought. The meat mandoo was just okay. The dipping sauce with it was over salty.

Yelp
First time attempting to eat at a Korean BBQ/boiling pot buffet, glad I tried it. The experience is a bit overwhelming, picture fondue and a grill, with a lot of meat and plenty of veggies. It's actually the healthiest restaurant in Tampa if you prepare your food a certain way. I love ginger, broccoli, cabbage, and chicken. Can't go wrong here, but if you want to indulge they have beef bulgogi to stir fry at your table. Probably the best tasting dish. When I cooked the chicken I was a bit concerned about food safety. Pro tip, 10 minutes per a side for chicken did the trick and it was delicious and cooked There is an ice cream self serve area with a scoop, but too many hands were in there, I passed on that. Overall, excellent fun date place, if you have some cooking skills this won't disappoint.

Yelp
I love the abundance of different food options at this restaurant. They offer BBQ options and traditional dishes as well. They have plenty of tables and booths so we have never had to wait for a table before. The staff is very nice and they have call buttons on all of the tables for when you need any help. The food here is really good! I have ordered bbq, ramen and rice cake soup and I have never been disappointed! This has turned into one of my go to places for when I'm craving Korean food!

Yelp
Went to lunch with an old friend and we were members of an old Meet-up group, Let's Cook Tampa, many years ago, at our friend's mom's restaurant, Rice Restaurant, the previous establishment at this location. It's totally different inside. It previously had a Korean grocery store next door to it, and now this one has a dessert and beverage shop next door. Every table has one or more bbq grills built into the table, so we obviously had to have us some Korean BBQ. We both are not big eaters, and you are not permitted to take home anything if you order the AUCE, so we opted to order a la carte, and take home what we couldn't finish, and we sure had plenty. We ordered the Kalbi Short ribs for the grill, and Kalbi Chicken, grilled in the kitchen, due to health regulations if someone didn't cook the chicken well done. We were brought out 7 different classic banchan, (side dishes) and scissors and tongs for the grill. You also have the option of the kitchen grilling your food instead of doing it yourself, for about a dollar less, but it was definitely worth a dollar of fun! Our server, Josh, brought us out raw thin cut short ribs marinated in kalbi sauce, rice in a covered stainless steel bowl, and a huge stack of crispy large leaves of lettuce to wrap everything up in. It was so very delicious, and fun to eat. Then Josh brought out a huge platter of grilled kalbi chicken over a pile of grilled onions, most of which we happily took home. It tasted as good as it looked, tender, seasoned well, sweet and salty, and perfectly grilled. We couldn't have been happier with our lunch, with 2 containers filled to the top to take home. I'm planning on making bibimpap with the leftovers, which I learned to make my first meetup at Rice. Looking forward to coming back very very soon, and hope Josh is working to serve us.

Yelp
Great Korean food! Really flavorful. Meals get 6-7 side dishes w appetizer size veggies, Kim chi, etc. Great short rib bulgogi. The seafood omelette is huge size of a pizza and superb! Highly recommend!

Yelp
First, I want to point out there is more than one Sa Ri One restaurant here in Tampa and they are NOT created equal. This is the one your want to come to. I have been to both locations and will take this one all day long. Though the menu is really similar.... the Cypress location doesn't offer the table side grill which is what makes this place so awesome and fun. I did have a different experience than most may for my first visit as I came with my girlfriend who is Korean so she basically just asked me what protein I wanted and took over the orders process for us both and I went with whatever she ordered us. She didn't disappoint. Funny, when I went to start my review, I see she has reviewed as well. Hey, you go where the locals or those in the know tell you to go. The price points are perfect here, they have so many different options to pick from and you can get all you can eat in different price points, based on what meats you want. She ordered a soup dish and I got chicken and from the picture you can tell they are not small proportions and they will continue to bring you out the different sides as needed.

Yelp
Such an awesome Korean bbq grill experience. The place looks good from the outside and is set up nicely inside with plenty of seating and grills. Would recommend going around 7 and not later on a Friday as it does start to get busy after that and they don't take reservations for small parties. The servers are super helpful and attentive and food comes our very fast for grilling. They bring you all the utensils you need as well as the meat and plenty of side options that are tasty. I would recommend not eating much that day and bringing a big appetite because it is a lot of food and if you don't finish the meat anything left over is $30 per half pound so be mindful of that. My favorite out of the meats was the bulgogi and the other beef in combo A. Will definitely be back again.

Yelp
Good korean bbq I wish the grill was a open flame instead of heat lamp but it was still good. The meat was very fresh and flavorful our favorite was the pork bulgolgi and the pork chop that cane with combo A. We got to take the leftover meat home and it was a lot of food for $50. The server was nice and explained everything well to us and it was very clean in there and nice.

Yelp
Great place for authentic Korean BBQ! We ordered the short rib and beef brisket and it was more than enough for two people. The order came with several banchan (small sides dishes) and steamed rice. You can tell the kimchi was made fresh in house, which is always a good sign. We also took an order of the boneless friend chicken home, and they were perfection. Service was a little slow, but we were in no rush.

Yelp
Great lunch boxes! I looked online everywhere for pics of the menu that showed the lunch boxes. I knew they existed because Yelp reviews mentioned them, but I couldn't find them on Yelp or on Sa Ri One's website. Therefore, I made sure to take pics of every single page of the menu. The quality isn't the best because I was fighting with a glaring light (and the glares of my husband), but I figured this is better than nothing! I got the Beef Bulgogi lunch box and wow was there so much meat! This is a meal you get stuffed on. It comes with tofu cakes, salad, korean vegetable dumplings, white rice, and of course a couple banchan dishes. I was sad that my fish cakes weren't one of the banchan dish so I drowned my sorrows in the bean sprouts, which were very good. I was shocked about how high the beef was piled. I took a pic, but it didn't save! Take my word for it, you'll get a lot of beef. It was very tasty. Not the best I've ever had, but it was a solid showing. I loved the Korean vegetable dumpling. I could have eaten so many more of those. The tofu cake was a little bland, but that didn't stop me from eating my husband's as well. I definitely walked out of here stuffed. I was surprised by how big this restaurant is. There were only a couple other tables at lunch. They were playing k pop music videos on the tv. It was a little distracting at first, but I learned to love it. The atmosphere is a little drab and rundown. This is not a nice date night spot, but I rather have good food than a good atmosphere. My husband is already plotting how to get back so he can grill all he can eat meat.

Yelp
We were a group of 9 with a 5:00pm reservation on Saturday evening. Our waitress was very friendly & helpful, especially when some of us wanted Korean beverages. On her recommendation, I chose the black raspberry wine for $14.95. Served in a fairly small bottle, with a small glass (like a large shot glass), it was very strong, yet sweet & delicious. This was easily equivalent to three glasses of wine, so the price was not as outrageous as it sounds. Then our server explained how the all-you-can-eat pricing worked, and allowed us to choose A ($25) or B ($35) individually, instead of one option for our entire party. She did ask us to re-seat ourselves around one grill for each option, which worked out fine for us, and it seems we were all charged correctly. Plus, some of our group simply ordered off the menu - also not an issue. Initially, the service was attentive, as the restaurant was not busy when we arrived. However, as the evening progressed, our server's visits to our table became sparse, and we had to wait quite a while for fresh meats after the first round. For example, I wanted more brisket, as I did not care for the spicier meats, and I waited quite a few minutes for her to come by again, then at least another 20 minutes after my request. Later in the meal, many of our water glasses, including my own, remained empty for way too long. That said, other roving servers passed by fairly often with more of the side dishes, which we appreciated. I couldn't get enough of the spinach! My biggest *disappointment* was the lack of non-spicy meats with Option A. I thoroughly enjoyed the brisket, plus I thought the marinated beef & pork belly were tasty. But Option A does not include a non-spicy chicken, nor another less-fatty pork. I'm not a fan of ribs, which Option B includes, but I would have appreciated more pork &/or chicken servings that were not spicy. The brisket was delicious, and the spinach was also amazing. This was my first experience at a Korean BBQ restaurant, and overall, I really enjoyed my meal here. Because our waitress advised us (late in the meal) that we'd be charged for too much uneaten meat, I'd recommend dining here with at least 4 people. We never felt rushed, though, and as we left, I noticed we'd been at our table for about three & a half hours!

Yelp
Our experience is about two and half stars. Below are some of the reasons why. First. The food did not sit well in the stomach. I have to go to bathroom twice. After almost $70 of food. I expect it to be high quality. Some how it has not meet the standard may be we are the early crow at 5 pm. Second, the soup is part of the all you can eat but the machine is broken, the soup is regular room temperature. I think this should be be prepared and ready all time. Third. Many time the waitress forget to bring our order. And the table was not check regularly and the 18% tip is added due to we have large crowds. With that said. We enjoy our time there. Since we we have a large table. We were able to divide our group to different categories grilled or order. It was fun to grill with a group. It is not good for two people to be here. I would said need 3 or more person in order to enjoy it. More is the best. One best thing is they have good ventilation in the restaurant. It is a plus. But still smell food after you walk out from the restaurant. I would suggest not wear any expensive clothes or leather product includes your hand bag. Because the food smell will stick.

Yelp
I was looking for a new restaurant to try and Sa Ri One was the place! This restaurant did not disappoint and the food was delicious! When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a server and sat promptly. The service was average. The server never came to check on us to see if the meal was good and forgot to come back to fill our waters. We could not find him around the restaurant. Other than that it was a good experience. We ordered: the fried vegetable dumplings as our appetizer, the soup with pork, onion, egg, and zucchini, spicy rice with grilled squid. All the dishes came out steaming and were delicious! The flavors were good and we enjoyed both of our meals! We will be back to try more dishes!

Yelp
We had a blast here enjoying soju, banchan, bibimbap with hot sauce, and all you eat grilled meats. The servers kept bringing every kind of bulgogi, pork belly and anything else available! The restaurant was hopping with almost every table enjoying the fun! Thanks Boon for the invite and everyone who made for a fun evening! It's time to check the powerball tickets to see if it was our lucky night! Ok. Looks like we are all going back to work Monday... next drawing is 750M!

Yelp
I've been to Sa Ri One so many times and every time I come, it's always a new experience. First off, they now have a dessert shop next door!! They have some Korean desserts such as shaved ice known as bingsoo and dessert toast. It's my first time seeing dessert toast in Tampa. They also offer smoothies, boba, and puffy egg waffles. The cafe has their own entrance but you can go to the cafe through the main restaurant. You have to order the desserts at the actual cafe but you can eat it at Sa Ri One restaurant. I ordered the mango bingsoo for $10 and it's not sweet and shareable. The mango shaved ice also had vanilla mochi ice cream and actually pieces of mango. The shaved ice is creamy like actually ice cream. I definitely recommend! Second new thing is an additional side dish. The gave me a tomato based side dish that's similar to salsa but it's sweet instead of spicy. The beef gal bi was very saucy and sweet. The seafood pancake is one of the best in Tampa! The squid was savory and delicious. I'm actually allergic to shrimp which the seafood pancake has but it is worth threatening my life with. We came the day after Christmas for dinner and they were packed. They were so apologetic for slowness but I don't blame them.

Yelp
The food was ok and the environment was ok. I just didn't expect to have to cook my own food.

Yelp
I don't recommend this place l. The service was good and there's even a button you can press so the waiter comes to you. Food was not so good, ordered steak and you get to cook your own food on a grill. When i saw the steaks after i grilled them there was no crust just rubbery fat. So I asked the waiter if they would get any crust and he said no! Terrible steaks, was unsure at first but realized it is subpar.

Yelp
My 3rd and farthest Sari One so I have been at this one the least, but I love it! Very huge inside, modern and clean. I had seasood tofu soup and Bri had spicy pork. We both hobbled them up, along with banchans. I usually only eat 1/2 portions at restaurants but not at this one! I had a nice healthy Korean food baby in my stomach as I waddled out of here.

Yelp
Been here a ton of times. It's our go to Korean BBQ spot in the Tampa area. Good service and fair prices.

Yelp
Tried the spicy pork and everything was just mediocre and bland. Service was also subpar as well. There are better Korean options in the area.

Yelp
Let's just say that I never been to a restaurant that is more trash than this, the food is repulsive, rice is crispy (that's how old it's), the meat smelled like my grandma's butt and the waiter spilled coke all over me (and didn't even refill the glass)!!!! After not being able to eat anything I asked for the check because we needed to go eat somewhere else, the lady was surprised that the tip was zero and asked me why. I replied that the service and the food didn't deserve any money let alone a tip and she replied that I look like I need the money so I should keep it Do yourself a favor and burn your money instead of going if it comes down to it because that would probably be a better use for it.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the bang you get for your buck, especially for a KBBQ place that's not AYCE! We came on a Saturday evening and we're seated pretty quickly. My boyfriend and I opted to get Combo A for 2 and our stomachs were VERY satisfied afterwards. It was just the right amount for us! My go-to for KBBQ is always the pork belly and beef brisket. They also provide rice and lettuce wraps upon request. It was a lovely time and I'm sure we'll be back next time we are in town.

Yelp
Such a great experience. It was our first time trying Korean bbq and the server helped us understand the process and the food. We did the combo D for 4 people and it was a lot of food! There is a great selection of food to choose from and not all of it do you have to cook.
