Sarku is the only food court stop that matters at Southcenter - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"The mall food court is crowded with fast food chains. But the only one to bother with is the storefront where apron-clad people hand out teriyaki chicken samples on dry spaghetti sticks. Is Sarku technically Seattle-style teriyaki? No. But they do serve a pile of charred, salty, and saucy chicken that provides immediate comfort after you’ve haggled a small child for the last Labubu inside PopMart." - Kayla Sager-Riley

I usually come here on my breaks as I work in the department store. But today is the last time giving them any money. My chicken was skimped out on and not enough teriyaki. Guy said it was the portion that it comes with the girl after me got more chicken lol CRAZY better off going to ruby thai WAY BETTER PORTIONS

Thank you, Sarku, for always being there to feed me! Ever since I was in the 3rd grade, you’ve never disappointed. I still remember how you’d generously give out samples, and to this day, the food tastes just as amazing as it did back then. I could eat here once or twice a week—it’s that good! If you’re visiting, definitely try the noodles with extra chicken. Although I think they might have removed the noodles from the menu recently, the fried rice is absolutely incredible and worth every bite.

The gentleman handing out chicken samples convinced me to get lunch here. The food was tasty, and the portions are incredibly generous for the price. The service was super fast and the staff were polite. I'm slightly ashamed that I've never stopped here in the last five years. It is in the food court, so very generic seating.

I waited in a long line, and by the time it was finally my turn, the cashier, who claimed to be the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. He kept shouting, rushing customers, and didn’t take the time to listen properly to my order. As a result, my order was incorrect and missing items. When I tried to explain the issue, he kept shouting that I had ordered wrong. I told him that he needs to listen to customers instead of constantly interrupting them, that’s why my order was messed up. Terrible service. I will not be coming back.

I'd just like to say, thank you Sarku Japan. For as long as I can remember, I would get the savory, fresh, teriyaki you've served. If you want to have quality made teriyaki, this is the place to go. With as much depth in the flavor of the teriyaki sauce, and the evened vegetables, I will say, Sarku Japan, you have served amazing food and will continue your reputation.

Slightly too salty but so good regardless, I eat here often throughout the years and bring my own rice

Tukwila was the best grilled chicken ever. They always have chicken with shrimp for $9.99 plus extra meat or double meat. This place always had a great chicken grill and fresh vegetables too. Fried rice it’s always with extra fee. The line is always busy but worth it to wait for reasonable price and if you are in budget.

Food is good- we’ve been here for years upon years. Quality is good however, today when we asked for extra meat, if I’m getting charged 2$ more I expect there to be extra meat. Not barely extra I understand prices are rising, and yours are too- so why so skimpy for the meat?
