Where to Eat Barbecue in Ann Arbor - Eater Detroit
"This popular barbecue restaurant has been serving Southern classics like smoked chicken, ribs, brisket and kielbasa along with a variety of housemade sauces and side dishes. The second location recently opened and is a convenient lunch option for those working downtown." - John Reyes
Great place for BBQ, compared to other places Satchel's has tons of seating space and has everything on the menu available. The Mac n cheese is amazing, a must! The pulled pork sandwich is to die for, the bread is fantastic. Plus the place is not pricey.

Pictures are worth 1000 words! Brisket was so dry, inedible. Corn bread same.

Good food and surprisingly available for a busy Saturday night. We were happy to get a table for twelve on short notice. The brisket was superb. Sides were middling--good, not great. But everyone loved the meat, even if the cornbread wasn't exceptional.

This place is yummy. The Mac and cheese is especially good. I've watched them make it and it's the real deal. The downtown location is clean and pretty, almost always empty so good for big parties - you can plop down in the side rooms and basically have the room to yourself!

Best kielbasa my husband and I have ever had. Slightly but perfectly crunch outside and the most melt in your mouth soft center. Perfect amount of flavor. Mac and cheese was also simply amazing. As were the mashed potatoes, they came with an awesome brown gravy. This place blew us away!
