Absolutely loved this place. From the moment I walked in, the owner was incredibly kind and hospitable. He took the time to educate me on their pho-making process and shared details about Vietnamese culture, which made the experience feel really special. He explained that they are one of the few restaurants that truly make pho the authentic way, and you can genuinely feel how passionate everyone is about what they do. This was actually my first time ever trying pho, and it did not disappoint. The broth was light, aromatic, and full of flavor. They were very generous with the beef and noodles, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming, with beautiful decorations that add to the atmosphere. It truly feels like a hidden gem, and I’m so glad I found it. Highly recommend trying this spot if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, passion, and great hospitality!

First time at this place. Searched on Google for vegan pho and this place popped up. We ordered vegan pho, fresh rolls, vegan mushroom banhmi sandwich and side of corn. Everything was delicious. The baguette here is exactly what it should be: shatteringly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s clearly fresh-baked, providing that satisfying "crunch" and deliciousness on the inside. The side of corn was simple & flavorful. The vegan broth was clear broth, loaded with gf noodles and veggies. Hit right on the spot on a rainy day. There is ample of seating, clean restaurant, great service. Will definitely come back!

A new favorite! Taste, price, atmosphere. It checks all the boxes. The owner is super friendly too! Highly recommend their Banh Mi. Classic and grilled chicken (with a lemongrass hint) Banh Mi are our favorite. The pork belly is good too. All Banh Mi come with some tasty shrimp flavor chips. Highly recommend!!

Got a half grilled pork banh mi, small pho with brisket, and a jasmine milk tea all for about $21. I think the banh mi is delicious. I’m not usually the biggest fan of pate but here it is so good. It is a bit simplified but I am very happy with it. They also don’t make their boba unbearably sweet which I really appreciate! The owner gave me a sample once and I’ve been sold ever since.

I recently visited SATE Banh Mi & Grille and had an amazing experience! I ordered the full Banh Mi ( Chicken), half Pho, and a Boba (brown sugar latte). Everything was so fresh, and the flavors were outstanding. The Pho was hearty and flavorful, with a generous portion size that left me full and satisfied. The Banh Mi was perfectly made, and the boba was deliciously smooth and sweet. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for Vietnamese food done right, this is the place to go—I was really impressed!

Where do I start?! I found this place on google while searching for something to eat while my son was in the area for his birthday. I wasn't able to try it but came back a week later because I absolutely love a good Banh mi. I was greated as soon as I walked in, and quickly helped. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable along the way since it was my first time. The food came out fast, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Even with the modifications I made they accurately completed the order in a very fast manner. The owner was extremely friendly and polite. He was an absolute pleasure and the service provided was amongst anything l've experienced in Atlanta recently. The space is slightly smaller but works perfect for the location. We were easily able to get a seat even during lunch hour before food came out. Over all this place is an absolute model business for what good customer service, good food, and fair pricing should be. I'll with out a doubt go back and tell my friends about them. I’ve been from $500 dinners for 2 to $100 morning bakery runs in over 20 states across the us and sate delivers an experience better then those places. It’s no frills just good food and good people!! Oh and they have an extremely rad cat curtain!!!

I have been looking everywhere for a place that has genuine Vietnamese coffee since I moved here. Not only is the coffee and food amazing, but they give a 25% discount for military! I am a veteran. Ton, the owner has deep respect and love for servicemembers, as his father and uncle served for the US in the 70s. He is an awesome guy, and I can tell he really cares for his customers. This is going to have to be a regular spot for me! Food is amazing! PHENOMENAL prices. And they aren't stingy on the meat. This place is perfect.

The food was amazing. I accidentally ordered tacos and a pho. The honey BBQ meat was great and the flavor of everything absolutely popped. The pho was very filling and I took the tacos to go. The prices are also really good. The atmosphere and music are good and the place is clean. The staff were chill and prompt. Spice levels defaulted to east Cobb hot, but they will get you to the spice you want which is great.

I'm not one to go to pho spots. And of the banh mi's (that's my usual pick), I'm just so so with most places. I'm pleasantly surprised by the food at this place. The prices weren't amazing, but it's also this immediate area. I definitely enjoyed the flair in their menu: combo to mix and match and food choices like the wrap. The wrap was pretty tasty. I guess if you're not into the extra carbs in a banh mi, you can get it in a wrap form. The ability to customize the ingredients was also fun. Trying the Sate wrap was a great pick compared to more traditional items. I was super surprised by how much I enjoyed the pho (grew up eating too much of this stuff so now I'm just turned off by its smell). I'm not saying it's the best pho ever, but by having some here and there these past few months, this one here was really flavorful with a nice broth profile. The half banh mi with the small pho combo (#7) was tasty as well. The beef stew was really unique. It tasted like beef stew if you were to cram it into a sandwich form. It definitely made the bread more soggy, but an interesting banh mi none the less. And reading the description, I see that their butter is made in-house. Interesting... Something to keep in mind is that with the combo, you might be getting only half a banh mi. And with the pho, it comes in a plastic bowl. Just mentioning this so you're aware of sizing and proportions. Overall my experience was a 4 to 4.5 star experience. And since I was overall wowed, this place gets 5 stars from me.

tasty for lunch. i got the combo which included a grilled pork bahn mi and jasmine boba. not bad for $17! the boba was refreshing and not too sweet. the bahn mi was a great value with tons of fresh veg. conner rang me up and was so kind! ambiance is good for a chill meal. i'll be back!

Have been looking for a healthy and fresh Vietnamese spot for a while and this spot is a gem. My go to order is the noodle bowl with grilled pork loaded with lots of fresh veggies. Iced tea is fresh brewed and delicious topped with the organic lemonade. Located in the Whole Foods parking lot in Sandy Springs. Food is delicious and service is excellent. I connected with the owner and founder Ton today during my visit. Great guy! Come and support this local business.

Came in shortly after they opened on Saturday morning. It's a small place but there are definitely tables for dining in if you want to do that. This is in a pretty busy plaza so sometimes it could be a challenge to find parking close to the entrance but usually you would be fine. They have a self order kiosk but I decided to still order at the counter. I won't say that the customer service was bad but they just didn't really speak to me I guess? Idk it was awkward lol. I ended up ordering the grilled pork Bahn mi, their house made "chips" and Vietnamese coffee. Everything took no more than 10 minutes to come out. I took it to go and ate at home. The Vietnamese coffee is very strong and they don't really stir up the condensed milk well so I had to do that once I got home, so once I did that it was pretty tasty. The bahn mi was pretty good. The bread is super soft but I feel like the toppings were ok. Like I know it's supposed to come with cilantro but they literally just threw a whole cilantro sprig in which was a little lazy to me. When I ate the second half my bread was pretty soggy and a little greasy so idk if I would get it again. Maybe because it was grilled pork? I have no idea what the chips are made from but I really liked them lol. Overall the meal was tasty but idk if it was my protein choice that was the downfall. I'll give it another shot since the place is down the road from me and they have other menu items.

Ordered combo #6 (full banhmi and bowl of pho) which was $15.00 without tax and tip. Portion was large. I got the chicken banhmi without pate (they'll always ask if you want to add pate, it's not on it initially) and a veggie pho with fresh noodles. The chicken banhmi was great and the bread was nice and hard on the outside but soft and chewy inside. They have sauces like chili peppers in fish sauce, garlic slices in vinegar (really like this condiment), and their special sate sauce (sort of sweet, onion, lemongrass, tangy taste). The pho broth is a little too sweet for my liking but the noodles are pretty good and there was a good amount of veggies and tofu. Service is nice and speedy. Ambiance is casual dining, a quiet place you can go eat alone. Parking is plentiful as it sits inside a big plaza with Whole Foods.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the owner spent time talking with me and explaining the origins of his restaurant and how they make everything in house. The food was absolutely delicious! If you're a coffee lover, you have to try the traditional Vietnamese coffee. Can't wait to come back!

I was on a business trip to Atlanta and had to stop by this place and check out their Banh sandwich...Im glad i did! Next time pho n Banh Mi for sure!

It doesn't make sense how good the Banh mi is. I don't think I've ever had such a flavorful sandwich before, and as a result I ate it too fast to show a picture of it. The pho is very savory and the ingredients taste super fresh. Don't miss out on the Sate sauce either!

I was craving pho one day and didnt want to drive all the way to buhi, so i stopped by. I was hesitant because it didn't look very authentic but the grilled pork banh mi was great. I believe they make their own pate too! The pho isnt the best pho in the world but still tasted fresh and filled craving. I think if it was more of a sit down traditional pho restaurant it would do better otherwise it looks like a casual lunch to-go spot which can be misses sometimes. Overall will be back!!! def give it a try :)

Ton was really helpful, gave us great service, the food was amazing, personally I enjoy the Thai Boba and we are coming from Florida affect by the Hurricane and he gave us a extra bags of chips I recommend Sate, It was a 10 of 10 experience

Friendly and helpful service, delicious Bahn Mi & strong Vietnamese coffee with just the right amount of sweetness, bright clean space. I went over the weekend and had to go back a few days later because it was good This will definitely be somewhere I visit often.

Every time I pop in here for their amazing steak of a half banh mi and pho, I am greeted with amazing customer service. The food is delish and where can you get a more than filling meal (I always have enough to take half with me for a second meal) for $10-$11???

Great place. I had the vermicelli noodles with honey pork and EIGHT add ons of my choosing. The food is great, sauces and condiments outstanding (eg fresh garlic vinegar). The owner, I assume, super nice, patient and gave me great sauce recommendations (there is a bunch to chose from). Almost forgot, Great fresh juices and teas. Can't wait to try.What are their coffees and the pho. Lastly, its the most affordable lunch or dinner in Sandy Springs.

The service here is amazing. So many smiling employees. Don't even get me started on the food we tried the bahn mi, pho, and the noodle bowl it was fantastic!!!! The service was so good that they even helped us open our push pop which was also very good. It is a great family spot and it was super welcoming. You should definitely come here. Was in town for work and craved some pho and found this gem! Owner family was pleasant and explained all the options and let us know what they made fresh there at the restaurant. I had combo #8 and added the homemade garlic vinegar to the pho.

I visited again today for the Grand Opening of Sate Banh Mi and Grille. I had their grilled pork banh mi, a side of Pho broth for dipping the banh mi, and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Everything was on point and amazing. Y'all need to visit this business and say hello to my new friend Ton. Tell him that Bruce sent you.

A nice and welcoming little Vietnamese restaurant in the Whole Foods/Home Goods shopping center at the corner of Hammond & Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs. Had Shrimp Pho, Bánh Mì Honey Pork, Sate Wrap and drinks. I really enjoyed the Pork French Baguette and made two meals out of it. The hostess was great, helpful on our first time in, and very polite. The head chef came to check on us and gave us a history of the restaurant location which has been there at least 5+ years I believe. Will go back to this restaurant.

Incredible service, there is also a kiosk available if you don't want to order face to face. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Food tastes amazing and they have really great portion sizes. Ambiance is cozy without feeling cramped and the music was at the perfect volume;not too loud at all.

I work nearby and really enjoy a few things in life. Sandwiches and iced coffee to name a couple. Ton and his team at Sate Grille do both of these right! The Banh Mi is amazing, great bread to meat ratio, excellent flavor and fantastic French bread. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE! This combo of sammies and iced coffee may just change your life. I'll be back and hopefully will see you there.

The food (had the pork Banh Mi) was really good and reasonably priced. The service was even better. They were very nice, professional and the food came out quick. We will definitely be going back.

Can not go wrong with 10/10 service and food. The manager was the sweetest and staff were wonderful. Super clean environment. If you tell them you're a first timer they will treat you so well. i got the chicken rice bowl and my girlfriend got the chicken Bánh mì both were wonderful!!! Make sure to stop by definitely worth it .
