The Best Coffee Shops in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"This sunny coffee stall inside a popular Uptown Phoenix furniture showroom has cycled through a few operators, but things finally clicked when the team behind Ollie Vaughn’s took over in 2024. Now, Satellite is thriving, serving excellent pastries from the Ollie Vaughn’s mothership alongside playful seasonal specials like hazelnut lattes with banana cold foam or a makrut lime matcha tonic. It’s a great place to post up for the day, especially when the “seating” includes custom designed furniture. Parking out front is limited, so it’s worth walking over from the surrounding neighborhood." - McConnell Quinn

If you are local or like me just visiting from out of town please try this gem! When I walked in the staff immediately acted as if they knew who I was and treated me so kindly. The girl at the counter offered top notch customer service! We had a piece of the banana bread warmed and it was good for the soul. This coupled with the shaken espresso was a great way to start out our Sunday in Phoenix! Kudos to the staff for making my morning great!

As a big Ollie Vaughn’s fan, I’m so happy Satellite opened in the past year in my neighborhood! The service is always friendly and impeccable and the atmosphere is so inviting and cool (wish I could take home all the Neighbor furniture). It’s also great spot to work remotely from as it’s not too noisy/chatty. Their cold brew is one of my husband’s favorites in the area and their current summer seasonal baked peach matcha is delightfully subtle - I thought it might be overly sweet, but the barista noted they intentionally try to under-sweeten their drinks. Love coming in here!

A perfect spot where you can enjoy a relaxed vibe and incredibly delicious coffee. The female staff had such a stylish and lovely vibe. The music taste is excellent, and the interior design is amazing. It’s the kind of coffee shop you’ll want to visit regularly

This is a must-discover coffee shop that specializes in quality coffee and customer satisfaction. I had a sparkling espresso with housemade orange & tangerine juice. It was fantastic and refreshing. My partner had a matcha latte with housemade baked peach & brown sugar cinnamon puree. This is a place full of innovative drink ideas & houses a great sense of hospitality. We chatted with the barista about their beans and she kindly offered us a sample cold brew — incredibly smooth and velvety. We’ll definitely miss them on our trip back home but will try to see them our next visit to AZ!

Satellite Coffee – Come for the Latte, Stay to Mentally Redecorate Your Entire Life There are a few places in Phoenix that make you question your entire aesthetic, and Satellite Coffee inside Neighbor is one of them. Tucked inside the kind of design-forward furniture gallery that makes you want to sell everything you own and start over with better lighting and fewer emotional attachments, Satellite is the coffee shop version of healing with taste. I popped in on a weekday whim (read: post-breakup coping session disguised as a coffee run) and ordered the hazelnut latte with banana cold foam, which, I’m happy to report, tasted like emotional closure in a cup. The hazelnut was perfectly cozy without being cloying, and the banana cold foam? Somehow refreshing, nostalgic, and slightly flirty. Unlike my ex, this drink followed through. The ambiance? Chef’s kiss. The warm mid-century tones, curated furniture, and desert-modern glow had me questioning every bad design choice I’ve ever made. There’s something incredibly satisfying about sipping an artisan latte while surrounded by pieces you know you can’t afford but are absolutely willing to fake a new identity for. It’s calm. It’s cool. It’s the exact opposite of dating a man with five throw pillows and no personality. The staff were as lovely as the space, kind, helpful, and incredibly on point with their recommendations. They managed to be welcoming without being overbearing, stylish without being intimidating, and one of them complimented my vibe, which honestly gave me enough serotonin to power through the rest of the week. As I sat sipping my latte, basking in the golden light bouncing off walnut shelves and design books, I thought: this is what peace tastes like. This is what happens when you choose yourself over another emotionally unavailable situationship with a bad beard and commitment issues. Final rating: 10/10. Would absolutely come back again, if not for the coffee, then for the fantasy of living in a home where everything matches and no one leaves you on read.

Best iced latte I’ve had in a while. Not sure why, but I take oat milk and a splash of salted caramel if you’re buying. This place has vibes for days and gorgeous plants.

Satellite Coffee Bar is like the Glenfiddich of coffee shops - every detail is meticulously crafted, and every sip is a delight. From expertly pulled shots to craft-made mixed coffee drinks that showcase creativity and skill, everything on the menu is a testament to the baristas' dedication. It's no wonder they're called Satellite - their coffee is highly engineered, precision-crafted, and truly out of this world. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a unique experience, Satellite Coffee Bar is a must-visit destination.

10/10 across the board. The Roasted Strawberry Matcha that was on the menu for a limited time was so delicious. I recently tried their Kaffir Lime Matcha Tonic and oh my gosh it was perfection. It was literally summer in your mouth - so refreshing! I appreciate that this coffee shop is whisking the matcha per drink order vs. bottling it up and not putting effort or work into the drink. Its such a shame going to a coffee shop and seeing this happen. But not you Satellite!! Aside from the craft behind their drinks the staff is always friendly and chatty! I highly recommend this coffee shop!
