Located in the lower garden district. New business space. Cappuccino and a oatmeal cookie were very good. Friendly staff. Also kitchen for a hot breakfast. Eggs, toast, bacon, etc. Cold drinks in the fridge by the registers. Community tables and outside garden to enjoy a sunny day. They also sell their own merchandise like t-shirts. Thanks for the coffee...

Great location, nice bright space, awesome patio. As is the norm for Satsuma, the menu pleases! Enjoyed the sandwich special for breakfast, was savory, distinctive, and satisfying (add bacon!:). Welcome to the neighborhood!

This café was great! coincidentally when I walked in they were playing one of my favorite artist, French Kiwi Juice. That really won me over. The staff and service is great. I sat outside on the beautiful turf grass patio and worked on my laptop and read a book whirl enjoying my iced chai and delicious pancake.

The food is really good! I ordered the chicken-kale salad wrap and I loved it.

Homely and comfortable atmosphere. Has a good variety of food for a good price. Quality of the food is great as well, and I can vouch for the quiche being fantastic. Would recommend Satsuma for anyone looking for a relaxing environment to study or to have a brunch meeting with friends and family.

I just cannot say enough good things about Satsuma. We’ve visited the new location a few times now and the best things about this place have translated - excellent staff, great rotating specials, and a well-made latte. The new location is definitely a more L.A. vibe than the others, but if that’s what you’re feeling-you’ll enjoy it. If not, the Maple and Dauphine locations are also excellent.

We were so excited for the new Satsuma location to open and as always it didn’t disappoint. The outdoor area is wonderful and perfect for breakfast or brunch. You have to try their vegan chocolate chip cookies!!!

Lovely, calm atmosphere. The food was delicious and not expensive (2 mochas, 2 breakfasts, & a tip came to around $30, about 10 bucks cheaper than the other breakfasts I've had while visiting). My only caveat with this place is that the music is a slow jazz style that is at just the right tone to act as white noise for me, and I know others already hard of hearing that it would probably also affect worse, so it made it hard to hear what the staff was saying since the vibe is such that you automatically start talking lower and softer. So just keep that in mind if you have a difficult time seperating noises and translating what you hear. Gonna go ahead and give it 4 stars just because I think we need to try our best to think of accessibility for folks, but if you can work with it I strongly recommend this place.
