Pleasant casual place. It is very nicely appointed, but quite casual. They had a great beer selection including a couple from breweries with which I was completely unfamiliar. The appetizers we tried were delicious as were the desserts.

I loved this place! The rooms were small but had everything we needed and then some. The only extra think I requested were a couple of champagne glasses which were brought up to our room within 5 minutes. The lounge room, open 24 hours, was a perfect place to grab a snack and/or continental breakfast at your convenience and time.. The location couldn't be better. I would highly recommend.

Great place with drinks and great food! Enjoyed their deviled eggs with bacon and their tater tots!

The ambiance was a bit loud for my taste but the food more than made up for it. Our table got a wide variety of drinks and entrees and not a single person was disappointed. The desserts were mind blowing, definitely get the pumpkin pop tart while you can!

I think I have officially become a food snob. But when you live in a foodie city and pay these prices, I feel it is justified. The restaurant is loud...cannot hear across the table. The food is good (except the mashed potatoes, a disappointment). Lots of bacon, very rich, cooked to perfect temps. I just wasn't blown away by anything. It was very standard, nothing creative. The negroni was good, but my friend said her Cosmo was on the sweet side. Wines by the glass were below average. The beer taps were not working. We were too full to try dessert. Service was friendly.

Staff is great. They changed their menu a bit and not all new items are great. Stay away from mushroom fries. Over salted, floury and heavy. Chicken pot pie and meatloaf were gewat. Usually I love their mini dessert donuts but they were burnt from outside and doughy raw inside. I feel that no one is checking the plates before they go out.

Enjoyed our stay at this unique little hotel. A bit noisy at night due to its location and if the weather is warm you'll want the window open, which doesn't help sound dampening. There's fruit, cereal, bagels, etc. waiting for you when you wake up in the morning and some games to play in a common room. Friendly and helpful owners who are willing to do whatever they are able to make your stay comfortable. Had a few issues with the wifi but nothing major.

Nice ambiance and feel to this little restaurant in Hayes Valley. Food was good, but a little pricey. Mains went for $20-$25 and were tasty and served in sizable portions. I did like the fact that they served a bowl of bacon as a side. I had the pork chop, which was nicely cooked to a medium and very tender, although the sauce was quite rich and overpower the flavor of the pork slightly. Would definitely recommend a visit, but don't expect to get blown away by the food. The service was a little slow but polite and friendly.
