Best Restaurants at Santana Row and Valley Fair in San Jose | Eater SF

"For brisket and baked beans, stop by Sauced BBQ, a trendy industrial joint with intentionally “rusty” corrugated metal siding, weathered wood, metal chairs, and neon signage. Make sure to accompany your sauce-saturated ribs with deep-fried delights like jalapeño poppers stuffed with pulled pork, sharp cheddar, and cream cheese playfully referred to as hand grenades — and for dessert, deep-fried Oreos." - Johanna Harlow

I was passing through and this place caught my eye. I was able to find parking so I knew it was a sign of good food to come! The first thing I will say it the service was out of this world. I asked my server for a drink and while he was explaining the menu it was brought out to me. I couldn’t believe it. The coleslaw was a very light vinegar based and it was fresh and crunchy. The sweet potatoes tater tots were absolutely amazing. The brisket was super super juicy and tender. The smoke in it was not over powering either. Now in my opinion the start of the show was the burnt ends pork belly! Wooweee!! Those were absolutely marvelous. It was a nice touch to have several different types of bbq sauce. They also had a beer/shot combo that looked great too. I passed on alcohol this time!! All people were very pleasant to be around.

I ended up coming her with my family to try out their meat. I got a brisket with loaded potato and corn bread and a sweet iced tea I would rate the brisket a good 6/10 My reasons for that is because when it came out it wasn’t very hot it was more on the cold side then warm. I ended up trying it without bbq and it had no kind of flavor or any kind of seasoning. The slices were kind of thin . Only came with a couple of slices. The loaded potatoes same thing with the seasoning not much . It wasn’t hot either it was barely warm. The cheese on it tasted pretty cheap but over all it was ok 6/10 The corn bread was definitely my least favorite hard from the outside tasted like if it was warmed up from yesterday . But good from the inside 5.5/10 Now my favorite was just the drink ….. the sweet Iced tea ! Definitely a 10/10 Service was good 5/5 And the atmosphere was also alright 4/5

I love Sauced. It’s such a great staple of BBQ in the Bay Area. Honey is from Texas, and this is the closest place we've found to TX BBQ. We came on a Saturday afternoon before St. Patrick's Day, so a lot of people were bar crawling. The inside was packed. It was a nice day, so we sat on the patio. A few people had their dogs with them on the patio. On this trip, we went off script and didn’t order BBQ. We always get the brussel sprouts. They add pork belly to them, making them super savory with a mild touch of sweetness (chef’s kiss). I love their bumpkins, so I had to get those too. Since the last time we were here, they updated their menu. They brought back the sweet potato casserole, which Honey loves. They also added the jambalaya, which was good as a side dish but not great. It was a large portion, so I see how they could offer it as a main. Honey said it was on the spicier side, but I didn’t feel it. Honey had the fried chicken sandwich. She got all the toppings on the side and added some of their BBQ sauce to make it her own. She said the chicken was good, and the flavor combination she created made it even better. The Big Sexy. This is not for the weak. It was packed with flavors but so delicious. The mac & cheese with pepper jack gives you that gooey cheese sensation, the Nashville chicken was a perfect blend of spice and crunch, and the bacon added a little smoky taste. The slaw cut through some of the savory flavors with a hint of sweetness. OMG, it was good. As soon as it got to the table, I had the server give me a to-go box for half. If I had eaten the whole thing, I would have been in a food coma for the rest of the day. Overall, Sauced is a great restaurant with something for everyone. I always recommend Sauced to anyone who wants BBQ.

This is a great place for beers and smoked meats. I love their brisket, tritip slider, and pork bacon burnt end, delicious taste with full smoked flavor. The service is also superb.

Google
Great Food and Lively Atmosphere I had a great experience at Sauced BBQ in Livermore, CA. The food was of excellent quality—I tried the three-piece dry rub tenders with waffle fries, and they were fantastic! The chicken had a flavorful spicy dry rub that really stood out. The cornbread was also a highlight—moist and delicious. The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of TVs playing different sporting events, which added to the energy of the place. The bar is impressive, well-stocked, and a great spot to grab a drink. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, but considering how busy it was, it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, Sauced BBQ offers great food, excellent value, and a fun environment. I’ll definitely be back!

First time here. Had a great experience. Our server was very nice and helpful. We got the bbq combo with ribs, sliced brisket, and pulled pork with some cornbread. We also ordered the Korean wings and the honky tonk fries. Everything was great. Definitely plan on going back for some more bbq.

Google
If this was just about the food then it would probably be a mid three stars. However... I was warned about this place being a little difficult and unhelpful with the splitting the cheque for a medium sized group, but as we wanted BBQ I did not listen as well as I should. Turns out that they didn't manage to keep some fairly basic things on the menu in large enough quantities to be able to offer. The alternative selection was ok but not amazing. A simple and easy to achieve request was made. Split the bill in two halves to accommodate two different groups. But no. Too difficult. Resulted in a lot of messing about to work out which group had what and make the receipt make sense for it to be submitted for expenses. You could have easily just done this for us it would not have been anywhere near as much hassle for you. It feels like you should have been paying me the TIP 👍 To address the likely response this was a lazy and substandard level of service that deserves no reward or return visit. At least if you offered amazing food that was actually fully available that would be something but no. Mediocre and lazy and no amount of we are sorry you feel this way or point about higher than expected levels orders in recent days is any more than an excuse. Ultimately it is our own fault about not listening to the warnings given about eating here. Not a chilled out or amazing experience that a tiny bit of effort could have made it. The experience only in any way saved by the company during the meal. Never again.

Google
Best ribs in town!! Try their smoked dinosaur beef ribs, it's a fantastic experience. These are the best ribs I've had during my trip to the US. If I had more days here, I would come back for more. Come early so you're sure to get their beef ribs.

Yelp
5/5 - Eliana is a rockstar! I stopped by Sauced in Livermore on Saturday with a couple friends, and even though the place was absolutely packed, the service was on point--especially thanks to Eliana behind the bar. From the moment I grabbed a seat, Eliana was incredibly attentive. She greeted me with a big smile, asked what I was in the mood for, and recommended a whiskey cocktail that ended up being exactly what I didn't know I needed. What really stood out, though, was how on top of things she stayed even with the bar buzzing non-stop. My drink was never empty. Eliana made sure I was taken care of the entire time--checking in with me regularly, refilling my water and drinks without me ever having to ask. And it wasn't just me--she was juggling multiple guests at once but somehow still made it feel like I was her top priority. You could tell she was dialed in, professional, and genuinely cares about the experience people are having. Atmosphere-wise, Sauced always brings the good vibes--solid music, lively crowd, and killer BBQ--but Eliana made the night. It's not often you get that kind of attentive service when a place is that busy. I'll definitely be back, and you can bet I'll be hoping Eliana's working again. She's a gem and Sauced is lucky to have her!

Yelp
We had a wonderful dining experience yesterday, characterized by excellent customer service and delightful food. Our server, RC, provided attentive and professional service, contributing significantly to our enjoyable time. The ambiance was also very pleasing :-)

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon and was craving BBQ. My girlfriend suggested we check out Sauced, and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty all the food was. We wanted to order enough for the both of us and to have some leftovers for later. We got the 3-meat combo with the two sides, a side cesar salad, and an order of 6 buffalo wings. The buffalo wings were the first bite I took, and these were really tasty! Great flavor, not heavy on the buffalo, and juicy wings. The cesar salad felt like a true steakhouse salad. Great flavors, plenty of cheese, really good. (makes me want to get the full salad with bbq next time). For the meats, we got the burnt ends, tri tip, and the jalapeno cheddar sausage. I was torn between the sausage and burnt ends as my favorite, but both were really tasty. The tri tip was room temp and on the drier side, so room for improvement there. For sides, we went with the mac salad and potato salad. Both were really done well. Although the mac and cheese was also room temperature, wish it came out hotter. All the food came out pretty quick, less than 10 minutes after we ordered. Since things are prepared ahead of time, I think coming around opening would be the way to get the meats as fresh as possible. Overall, enjoyed my experiences and the food at Sauced, and wouldn't hesitate to go back. It's a great spot to watch a sports game too!

Yelp
I was in the mood for bbq so I figured on making a trip to good ol' Sauced bbq. I went on a Saturday evening and the place wasn't busy, even though where it's located it has a lot of foot traffic. Anyways, I got easily seated with no wait. I ordered the 2 meat combo, and a sweet tea. I got the Tri tip, jalapeno sausage, cornbread and Mac and cheese as my options. At first glance, I thought it wasn't much food but after having a few bites, I took back my words. It was enough lol The cornbread was my absolute favorite. They even used real corn! The sausage was a tasty meat. Probably the star on the plate. The Tri tip tasted room temperature was a little odd. hmm. Sadly, my Mac and cheese, seemed as there wasn't enough Mac and way too much cheese. It was more cheese with Mac lol The sauces on the table are awesome though! The candy one and the habanero ones are my fav and do give a twist to your bbq. The one downside is I started to not feel good after 4 hours... I should have stayed away from the Tri tip.

Yelp
Happy 4th of July! It was really nice to come on a Friday at 5:00 pm and have no problem parking in the lot behind Sauced. We like sitting on the covered porch with the TV's. Inside can be hard to hear for older people with hearing aids. Our waitress was sweet and recommended onion strings in my son's pulled pork which was a great recommendation. He had sweet tea and never had an empty cup. My husband and I are older and eat a lot less. We split the 2 meats with two sides. The burnt ends were a lot better than the last time we were here. Last time they were dry and not very moist. Like they had been sitting a whie. This time they were perfect. The pulled pork has been consistently good. We mix the spicy bbs sauce and sweet to get what we think is a perfect addition. The hand grenades now are split in half not a whole stuffed jalapino. I liked them better whole bit for sharing it makes sense to split them on half. I also love the Wood Family wines. I am still a fan of Sauced!

Yelp
Another great experience at sauced! Drinks took a little while to arrive but then after that everything was smooth sailing. We did have a larger party so thats completely fair. Loved the Nashville chicken sandwhich, will probably get it again next time. Cant forget the best item on the menu- swamp fries as well. 5/5!

Yelp
Had the 3 meat lunch. It was amazing. Great value and a ton of meat. I would say my favorite of the 3 had to be the burnt ends highly recommend giving them a try if they have them available. Service was excellent, they were attentive refilled my drink proactively. Not that busy for a weekday lunch time meal.

Yelp
Service was great, and outdoor dining was very nice. Loved the sound of the fountain! Brisket was pretty fatty, pulled pork was perfect and you could taste the smokiness in the chicken. The mashed potatoes were meh and the green beans weee perfect! We had the egg roll appetizers which were delicious! We'll be back!

Yelp
I came with a friend for lunch and while the company was great, the service was awful. Our lunch meal for 2 was $61 and we had water. For the price, I would've expected top notch service. Our server never checked on us, not once. We flagged down other servers who were passing by for stuff we needed like an extra plate. A box. We could've used a refill on our waters. At one point, one of the servers didn't see our hand waves but a customer did who was walking by, and went to go get that server for us. Like what?? And I apologized to that server for asking her for stuff bc I knew she wasn't our server. We saw our server again at the end of the meal when she brought the bill. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else. She never came back so we could pay and we had to leave! After waiting patiently for a long time, I got up and went to the front counter and asked the girl if I could pay there. I also asked for a couple bags at this point for our food since she brought us boxes but no bag. Like how is my friend who she brought 2 boxes for supposed to just hold it all in his hands. She didn't anticipate our needs at all. Also, at the time of ordering my friend asked for his corn bread to go, so...he had a few items to take home. I didn't finish my nachos so I also got a box. Upon reading another review here, they have a lunch menu, which we were not given or offered to see. My nachos w/brisket were okay, 4/5. I liked the sauces available at the table. I would've liked to have asked my server for a little cup or something to compliment my meal but she wasn't anywhere to be found. My friend got a 2 meat combo with wings & Burnt ends. The wings he enjoyed, said the burnt ends had a good flavor but were tough to eat. Overall, the lunch experience could've been better had the service been good.

Yelp
Food was amazing, had the lunch special. So if you come for lunch and you don't have the lunch menu, ask for it to save $$$. Green beans on the side were amazing! Texas toast was so-so. Service was so-so around lunch. A little slower than I liked it. Ambiance was great! Well decorated spot. Parking is hard to find in the front and only a limited parking in the back .
google avatar

Yelp
I came around 2 pm for late lunch. The hostess gave me dinner menu. I didn't know that there was lunch menu still good til 4 pm. They are being sneaky, making us is a bit dinner price not cool for them to play sneaky fame with the customers!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious, we got the big smoke which was $250 but we figured everyone was gonna atleast spend $50 each so might as well. SO MUCH FOOOOD but literally everything was amazing. Not one thing was mediocre. I can't wait to bring my parents here. Come early on weekends, it gets packed. Thank you for an absolutely fantastic meal.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
If you like fatty meat, you can order pork belly, which is sweet and fatty, but fragrant. The grilled spareribs are hard, sweet, and a bit chewy. The grilled brisket is a little fatty, but the main point of eating meat is to leave fat in your mouth. The corn tortillas are delicious, sweet, and have corn kernels. The nacho is also delicious, but the portion is too big and I can't handle it. Two people can't finish a 3 meat combo. I see that the sandwiches and burgers at the next table are also very tempting Sweet tea is a special drink, mainly sweet. If you can drink a special beer, it will be great

Yelp
I had a problem with a delivery order , Daren was able to solve my problem within minutes after weeks of trying to get it resolved. It's people like him that keep you going back when you are about to give up. . I was super impressed by his through customer service skills, professionalism and resolution. Two thumbs up!

Yelp
Party of 2 on a Saturday. We arrived right before noon, we're sat promptly. Tyler was out server and he is phenomenal. The best server we have had at Sauced. Very tentative, polite and communicative. We tried the new Quesobirria tacos. Although they are good, I have had better. I'd say 6.5 out of 10. My hubby always loves the brisket nachos and he gave the duece pigalow a 6 out of 10. We will be back as we usually enjoy our meals here. Hopefully we will have Tyler again.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious chicken sandwich! ‍ It wasn't soggy with all flavor packed in there, and it had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Boyfriend enjoyed the two meats, so much he took the rest of it home for a different day. Plenty of seating spread apart, though the booths are right next each other. Service was quick and attentive, even when we were in the back to the side. Employees were informative, and prompt. Would definitely go again! Love Texas Roadhouse, and I love their dang sweet bread with cinnamon butter, but this place just offers different flavors you can't get over there.

Yelp
Happy Hour $12 shot and beer...pretty good, i love the tri-tip salad/chili and service with a-smile!!

Yelp
Tried this place out for our friends birthday and it had my husband singing "God Bless America" during lunch haha. Service was quick specially for us being late. Victoria was friendly and quick to get everything requested. We were with a party of 8 and the food came out maybe 10 mins after we placed the order. I ordered the Hella Cali salad with brisket. The dressing was delicious and it was loaded with veggies and fried onions the only thing is I should have picked pulled pork. The brisket was dry unfortunately. Corn bread it came with was delicious! My husband ordered a combo with pulled pork and brisket with 2 sides baked beans, and waffle fries. Waffle fries were AMAZING we couldn't stop eating them. Baked beans were not the best his had but not bad. The pulled pork was good special with the table sauces. Brisket again was a bit dry. Overall we really enjoyed our time, service and food there! We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Our party of four was seated right away on a Sunday evening, both indoor and outdoor seating was available. We went for indoor seating since it was cooling off, but I do know they have outdoor heaters. The inside is decorated nicely with fun posters and has a sports bar vibe. Lots of seating options available. Our drink orders were taken promptly and brought out. Same with our meal orders. Food was amazing as always. I got the sliced brisket sandwich with waffle fries. They have four barbecue sauces at the table and our favorite is Hot Tin Roof, excellent if you like spicy. We also got fried Oreos for dessert and they are incredible!! 10/10 visit for us!

Yelp
Solid BBQ restaurant to satisfy your cravings with an extensive menu. The ribs were falling off the bone tender, paired beautifully with the baked beans. The half chicken had a lot of meat and was pretty juicy. I highly recommend the jalepeno coleslaw. The chili mac and cheese was pretty heavy and the cornbread was nothing crazy. The service was great - very attentive and helpful when ordering. Lots of seating indoors and outside, though it does get pretty hot on the patio.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for a while now, finally made it. Came in on a Tuesday night about 7PM with co-workers, got a table fairly quick for a party of 4. If you're lucky enough to get street parking you're seconds away or the parking lot is about a block away. Huge dinning room and bar area and very clean with TVs all over. My co-worker got the Dino-Rib, it was huge and smoked perfectly and well seasoned. The meat was juicy and tender. I had a 2 meat combo with Ribs, Brisket, Garlic Mash and Salad. Both of the meat were tender, brisket was juicy and the meat fell of the bone on the ribs. The garlic mash is very tasty.

Great service! I especially appreciated our bartender Aolani. She made sure we were comfy and we would love to come back.

Yelp
Solid recent stop when in the area with the family. Had the pork schnitzel sandwich with the waffle fries. The Mrs. had pulled pork plate with sweet potato tots and potato salad. Kids had brisket melt with Mac and cheese and pulled pork sandwich with the tots. Schnitzel sandwich was good. Large and the schnitzel was good. It can be dry if overcooked and this one was maybe 30 seconds overcooked so pretty close. Waffle fries were good and generous. Tried a piece of pulled pork and it was tasty with the sauce from the table. Included with very generous serving of tots which were very good. The potato salad was solid but probably needed a touch of salt. Daughter finished the brisket melt and said was stuffed afterwards. I tried her Mac and cheese which was very cheesy but a bit dry as it has been made prior day or maybe sitting out for a bit. Generous servings for good food. Pricing is on the higher side for casual spot but that's the same with most BBQ spots. Service was good. Four stars.

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends for an early dinner post wine tasting in Livermore and wow the barbecue hit the spot. They were packed on a Saturday night (inside and outside). I ordered the 3 meat bbq combo plate (sliced brisket, tri tip, pork belly burnt ends) with cornbread + mashed potatoes as the sides. I enjoyed the tri tip and the pork belly burnt ends the best. The mashed potatoes were also flavorful. We also ordered pickle back shots for the table. They are dog friendly so I was able to bring my dog here outside!

Yelp
Truly amazing BBQ restaurant in the busy downtown district of very clean and lovely Livermore City. The downtown area is absolutely gorgeous and full of people! Everyone is so happy and relaxed! Everywhere we walked, there were throngs of patrons in almost all of many restaurants. It didn't matter whether they were Thai, Indian, Italian, Tavern or Korean, they were nearly full. There was one place where people were standing for very long time and the line was at least forty people long. We didn't go there. But we found a large BBQ restaurant with optional seating on high table without waiting. The BBQ chicken wings and beer were enough. The house salad was simple but good. Everything was pretty high priced but delicious. I gave four solid stars for good food. Our waitress came around once only. It was pretty decent place
google avatar

Yelp
Vibe was cool. Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch, and even with that it wasn't bad. The area of Livermore was popping - the other restaurant in the space seemed to have more young professionals vibes. This one was more families and older folks. Our server, Jordan, was very attentive and helpful in deciding the food options. He came by multiple times to check in with us, and always kept our drinks filled. If anyone deserves a raise, it's him. Food itself was decent, nothing to rave about. But was solid Southern food. The price per quantity was a little disappointing though.

Yelp
Food is always killer at this popular, big chain restaurant. Don't know the origin of this place but they're mostly always nice. If you want to come to a cool, big, loud, open floor space BBQ restaurant Sauced is hits all the marks. Sometimes!: The service can be a little spotty unfortunately. My last trip to Livermore Sauced was not the best. Our server crossed up all the beers and had them all wrong lol. But she insisted she gave each of us the right beers. She didn't lol. After she walked away we all had to try and switch each others' beers to finally get what we ordered lol. I'm not the rude type but I think she was offended and then rarely came back to our table . But the food and beer were great as always! Every other time I've gone has been the service has been great!

Yelp
4/08/25 8:30pm. Service was pretty tough. Stood around for 15mins even after i flagged down the 1 waitress working. Then we sat at the bar area and waited for 5mins until my friend went to ask one of the 2 people behind the bar for assistance. Then the one young gal finally came and served us. She was nice and pleasant. Good ribs, brisket, sausage and beer!

Yelp
We got carry out. We really love the fried pickles and burnt ends(?). Very good food and service.

Yelp
I need to alert people who used to love Sauced like me. This is the third time and last I eat at this location. Food flavors changed, it's not as fresh anymore, and meats are dried and overly seasoned in a not tasty way. I think quality and freshness are no longer priority. This location in Livermore can do better. I won't go back anymore.

Yelp
Really like this place. Inside is huge and has a lot of TVs. Great for game days. There's also a smaller outside section overlooking the street. We got a three meat combo with brisket, pork ribs and chicken wings. Had the jalapeno coleslaw and seasoned waffle fries on the side. Was enough for three light eaters, but would have had to order more if we were really hungry. The brisket was very tender and juicy. The ribs were flavorful on their own and easy to pull off the bone. The wings were pretty good too, but didn't really compare to the meats (to be expected). The jalapeño coleslaw was good. Wasn't spicy at all somehow. The waffle fries were just ok. The seasoning has some sugar in it, which we weren't feeling. Food takes a while to come out so be prepared for a little wait after ordering. Overall a great restaurant with good food and friendly servers.

Yelp
I came here with a big group for a friend's birthday and had a great time. The staff was super helpful and made sure our whole party was taken care of. The place has a fun, lively vibe with plenty of seating and TVs playing all kinds of sports, it definitely helped the time pass while we waited. I got the three meat combo with brisket, burnt ends, mac and cheese, and a potato! Everything was packed with flavor. Great beer selection too. Would definitely come back for more!

Yelp
When in Livermore SAUCE it up! We made reservations for our party of 8, luckily we were able to get in because sauced is always so busy!!!! With the restaurant being so busy our waitress was attentive and frequently checked in with us. Food and drinks delivered just as quick! We ordered the nachos, wish it had more toppings Chicken wings- not pictured, it was a bit on the bland side but nothing some hot bbq sauce can't fix Also the 3 item meat combo, ribs, burnt ends and brisket. Along side their chili and mac n cheese. Everything was finger licking good!

Yelp
The old fashioned is amazing and the food is a great addition as well. You can't beat the sports on all the time as well. We made this place our spot for Sunday football all season.

Yelp
come to quite a few of these chains but this is my first visit here. We did have to wait quite a bit even though there was not that busy. They seated us on the patio outside but it was real hot this visit. Service was good but was a lil disappointed that some of our party wanted burnt ends and the kitchen said they were out but others who arrived after us still ordered them. they have a great selection of BBQ choices to chose from. this visit I ended up ordering the pulled pork sandwich with a side of corn bread. food was okay and came out quickly.

Yelp
Came here on Super Bowl game day and this is the place to be! ambiance is something you couldn't ask for. Everyone dressed in red! Food was great too! Love their brisket and baby back ribs. Unfortunately they ran out of both beef and pork belly burnt ends :( but understandable Will visit again!

Yelp
My wife and I came to Sauced for the first time and it was quite delicious! We loved the selection of bbq sauces and the customer service was friendly. The brisket had a nice bark on it and brisket chili cheese fries were delicious!

Yelp
We've been coming to sauced for years now. Most recently on the weekend for lunch in January. Sauced to me is the best BBQ in the Bay Area. No offense, but that's also not saying much lol. For an area with this many people and places to eat, the BBQ is pretty slim pickings. Not much to choose from. In my opinion that's because the demand for it doesn't exist like it does in Texas & the South. One thing about the Bay Area is, there's a huge huge variety of awesome places to eat at, from all different backgrounds, honestly, to me, better than anywhere in the country. I've had BBQ in Texas, Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana, a pretty good amount of places. Kansas City is only one I haven't tried from places it's famous for. Sauced is the closest BBQ to that I've ever had in Cali. If you have a better one, let me know. Their brisket is very tender, flavorful, fair or not, brisket quality to me is a great indicator of how good a spots BBQ is, it's in my opinion the hardest one to cook. Every single time I've ordered brisket at sauced it's been great. We're going to keep coming back here 100%.

Yelp
This place is packed and busy, but serves really yummy ribs. Ordered the delicious half rack and with four sauces to choose from on the table, I devoured them straight off the bone. I ordered two side of fries, one with house rub and one without but unfortunately after finishing my ribs, I went to go wash my hands and my plate was taken too soon and my fries were discarded, as you can see in the picture so service was a little too efficient. Very fun vibrant place with lots of tvs and lots of beers on tap but next time I'll make sure to wait until I've finished my meal to head to the bathroom. One less star for the super well done steak served at my table that was immediately replaced when brought to their attention, but was replaced with another well done steak instead of the medium rare it was supposed to be.

Yelp
The vibe was good , service great , the food just ok. The cornbread was a disappointment, paid 7 for a side and it was only 2 pieces and one was only the top of the piece, not much flavor . The tri tip was good but very small portion for 29$ ( 5 small slices )

Yelp
Was in Livermore for an event at the college and saw this place and decided to give it a try. Had two three-meat plates with sides ($49.99 each) and the four of us couldn't knock them out- had leftovers to take home! The highlights were a fabulous smoked tri-tip, fall off the bone tender ribs, and a juicy tender brisket. The pork belly burnt ends were a bit fatty, although tasty. Their sauces are served on the side and the sweeter sauce was delicious (my style) and the others were great- the hot sauce definitely had kick! Sides were nice, the Mac and Cheese had great flavor, the waffle fries with house rub had a little zing, but our piece of cornbread was a bit dry- maybe because we were near the end of the night. Great bbq and decent portions. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Would return if we ever get back to the area!

Yelp
We've tried a few different BBQ restaurants in the Sacramento/NorCal area within our past few trips over there. There are a few really good BBQ restaurants that we've tried and now based on some strong recommendations we got to try Sauced BBQ. We visited on a Friday night without reservations, and got really lucky that our group of 8 were able to get a table within 30 minutes. I would not guarantee that everyone will get this lucky. The place was packed, and I hear it's like that most of the time. The restaurant has an area of high tops and a large room with a lot of tables. The restaurant is a little on the louder side due to the chatter of everyone in the restaurant, but it isn't an issue, it's kind of the vibe. The food was really good, the service was great, and overall I felt like the experience was worth the money. The portion sizes are large, everyone in our group really enjoyed what they ordered. I tried the pork belly burnt ends, which I've never had before, but it's a combo of two things I love and I wasn't disappointed. The brisket was also really good, tender with a lot of flavor, it didn't need any additional bbq sauce at all. I would recommend people go try Sauced BBQ, I saw multiple locations during our time in the NorCal area, but was told that this location was the best.

Yelp
Good food and service but a bit on the pricy side. I had the two-meat combo with two sides which is a lot of food but also over $30 a plate for it. I had the brisket and burnt ends with waffle fries and mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was ok could have been more creamer especially if you take it home to eat the next day. The waffle fries were also pretty standard but cooked just right. The variety of sauces was also nice to have on the table I think my favorite was the hot tin roof it wasn't too sweet like the others. The mango margarita was also good and would get it again but also a bit pricy for what it was. My bill alone was around $60 with the tip so be cautious about what you order to get your money's worth and fill up on the good stuff.

Yelp
The BBQ was great! It seems as if 2025 portion sizes are getting smaller. I paid $87 on two dinners which what I received seemed like more money for the business and less food for the Customers. It was to me shameful, I would think twice before patronizing this business. One lady was trying to figure out how to feed a family of four so she bought everything separately. Ask to see the size of the containers for the Sid dish. This took her 30 minutes to figure out how to get enough for her family. Without breaking the bank.. this place was referred to her by a friend. The sweet potato casserole was delicious. The macaroni with cheese is a little pepper not spectacular but edible The cornbread was about four bites and condensed but edible. ribs were delicious. Enjoy

Yelp
I ate here for the first time and now I know why people recommend this place. The food was mouth watering and the staff was very welcoming. They had great decor and a lot of seating.

Yelp
WOW, talk about a flavor bomb this place is! They do daily specials; from beer/shot deals, shot deals, whiskey pour deals (they have a decent selection of whiskey). I got their 2-meat combo (comes with 2 sides): burnt ends-pork belly and brisket with mac n cheese and corn bread. They also make their own hot sauces, all delicious but the hot bbq sauce is the one for me, so damn tasty with the meats. It's impossible not to be drooling over their food. Great casual spot to come watch a game with all the monitors and listen to some country music in the background (unless the music was just for tonight lol). Special shout out to Christine and I can't remember the other girl working the bar when I was there. Great service by them.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by this establishment. I came in on a Friday afternoon and was impressed by the courtesy of the host and the server. My server made great recommendations and I was also pleased with the selection of different sauces that are available table-side. I enjoyed the Beef Brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. The portion and price ratio, in my opinion, are appropriate for the food and service received. I sat on the outdoor patio and the atmosphere was very comfortable with a view of downtown. I would definitely return and bring family and friends. With Gratitude, Vanessa
