I used to go here all the time, it was a decent place just last year. I can't believe the experience that I just had this evening, it's extremely disheartening...let me walk you through it.
As me and my wife entered, there was nobody there to greet or seat us. When we finally were seated, we noticed a line building by the door while servers were actively ignoring the people waiting to be seated. We were literally watching servers look at them, and then look away so they wouldn't have to seat anybody.
Our waitress was bartending and taking orders simultaneously. We ordered the fried pickles and peppers appetizer, along with a 3 meat combo to share. The plates they gave us, were sticky with crumbs and dust on them. We asked for clean plates and were given tiny plates since they had no more clean regular sized plates. The fried pickles and peppers came out first, and they were ok, nothing special.
Someone from the back brought our food to the table, and all the meats were stone cold. Brisket, ribs, and an order of burnt ends, ALL COLD. We asked for our meat to be heated, and another employee took our food back with an unhappy look on her face. A few minutes later, she came back, and the meat items were STILL COLD.
At this point, our waitress who was busy bartending, asked if everything was OK, and we let her know that our meat was still cold. She apologized, took the items back, and returned 5 minutes later with the same meat, now obviously microwaved. The tray the meat was served in, was now hot, and the texture of the meat was that of microwaved leftovers, far from fresh BBQ. Even our coleslaw was soggy, which was a disappointment, because that used to be my favorite side dish.
$63.99 later, we felt cheated, and decided we're never coming back to Sauced BBQ, I don't even know why I tipped, the service was just as bad as the food. I feel like I was catfished, this place used to be good!
Everything has gone downhill here, the staff look miserable, and the customers don't look much better. The only ones who seemed alright were the drunks at the bar who didn't order any food. I can see this place going out of business within the year, and I'm sure the employees can sense it too. They have arcades set up as well, so it's obvious they're trying to make money in another way that doesn't involve quality BBQ or decent service. They shouldn't be allowed to call themselves "Sauced BBQ," that's blatant false advertising at this point. I think they should call themselves "Sauced Arcade And Bar," where they microwave your brisket and ribs in case you ask.
