Interactive wine bar with curated selections, unique snacks, and vinyl
"The sexiest house party in town comes courtesy of the Brooklyn-born Sauced, who have taken over a renovated home in Germantown and stocked it with vinyl and wines that don’t start with “Barefoot.” Several of which are being poured into glasses that say—and before you ask, yes, we’re being entirely serious—“I swallow.” There’s typically a fashion content creator here, holding said glass in their hand, commenting on the dire state of flipped vintage clothing to a group of friends. In the background: thumping 808s, deep R&B and soul cuts, and the general sense that even though the bar closes at 2am, the party will not stop. Selvedge denim, a vintage Marc Jacobs Stam bag Wine, obviously, and the more obscure, the better" - jackie gutierrez jones 2
"Sauced is like a house party thrown by that friend who always has the best wine. The music: expertly curated R&B vinyl. The wine: picked out by the staff based on what you’re feeling. On your table: stuff that’s simple to eat, but special, like tuna tartare toast topped with caviar and mortadella sandwiches with pistachio sauce. The night will flow easy, as will the conversations after all that wine." - jackie gutierrez jones 2, ann walczak
"Sauced is another NYC transplant touching down in Nashville, and this wine bar is just what Germantown needs. There’s no drink menu—just tell the staff what you’re in the mood for, either by grape type or flavor notes, and they’ll probably pick out something perfect. You should also order enough snacks to make up a full meal. There’s toast loaded with tuna tartare and an obscene amount of caviar, and paper-thin mortadella (piled higher than a Southern beauty queen’s hair) that’s sandwiched between pistachio sauce, a tomme cheese foam, and buns. After discovering a particularly great bottle of Cab Franc, it’s easy to find an excuse to return the following night with a new friend to split another. Just get here early—no matter what day of the week it is, the little house on 6th Ave. fills up fast." - ann walczak

"Germantown has a new wine bar from Brooklyn. At Sauced, there’s no list—just bartenders who’ll select your wine for the night based on your preferences. An eclectic vinyl collection and small plates from guest chefs round out the experience." - jackie gutierrez jones 2
