Over the years of going here its gradually went down. The tamales are not like they used to be, the cashiers act like they have better things to do besides take an order. I only go here because my daughter wants tamales and this is the only place that I know has tamales on the weekdays. On the weekends we go to to the best place in town which is located right across the street from Taco Tako

I dont go to Saucedo's on 8th. They overcharge breakfast burritos. Every time i went was always a different price depending on who was working the drive through. But the last time was the worst. I finally decided to question why the total is so random and never consistent. The menu lists price @ 4.79 but somehow they charged me almost $7. I had no add ons at all. I ordered exactly off the menu. The chick at the window was so rude about it, couldn't explain the upcharge and said no manager on shift, so I said 👍 ok ig and drove off empty handed. Went to the Grandview location and got breakfast there. Ordered the exact same thing and my total was $5 something. Now I only go to the one on Grandview. I know 2hat to expect to pay. They're super nice and charge correctly.

I ordered a dozen Tamales! They were terrible! There was bone in them and gritty! The masa did not cover the meat! They are tiny and greasy! No more will I ever go there! The window customer service is bad! There was one person behind me and asked me to pull around to back door they did not bring food out until 20 minutes. No customers but a few going through window, no customers inside! It was Friday! I asked why so long she said the women in kitchen! I will not ever go there again! I only ordered a enchilada plate besides 1 dozen tamales

I called to confirm BEFORE I left Midland to order tamales just to arrive and receive not 1 single tamale. They did NOT hold my order and told me they sold out. Can’t even get a tamale pie👎🏾

Went to this restaurant yesterday morning and it was the worst place you could have went . I ordered a ground beef burrito and got to the table to eat it meat was red as could be and I told them and they said would you like something different I said I try asada and it was not good as well , my friend ordered eggs and ham burrito and he said it was the worst, tortillas was dry and not good , salas was trash . I would not go to this place again for free food . Time to learn to cook are close down , also the people working there was rude . Did not even want to give it a 1 for rating.00000000

I have gotten tamales all over Texas. Hands down the best in Texas!

Their tamales are Super Tasty and priced great. Good burritos. Good food. Great smiles and service😁

this place used to be a hidden gem but I went there today granted it was right at opening time but all of my tamales had a crunchy texture.. H-E-B tamales were better than today $24 wasted 3 hot 1/2 dozen

The hot tamales are not good at all wouldn't recommend getting them ever.The service was ok I ordered 4 dozen hot tamales and it didn't take no more than 5 mins which should've been the first red flag that these tamales are not fresh at all. I didn't go inside so I can't say nothing about cleanliness of the inside or the atmosphere.

This place is always busy for breakfast. Most people go thru the drive thru. I really like their breakfast burritos they are very well seasoned which a lot aren't. The green sauce is not hot but good flavor. I think I paid $3.75 for a nice sized burrito.

This place had the best gorditas in all of Odessa. I think they have a new owner and the young man that is working there is NOT a good employee. My Gordita's have RAW masa The medudo smelled like poop which made me think it was not cleaned at all. This place has really gone down hill and there is never anyone there any more. I do not wonder why!!! I see why !!'

I went yesterday and ordered the tacos. It's been more than 10 years since I've eaten here but I have always loved the tacos. They weren't as good as I remembered the meat had no taste and they put cabbage instead of lettuce. They were ok not the mind blowing tacos I remember. The green sauce is delicious

If you want the nastiest tamales , old reheated since who nows when go to saucedo it's crap crap never had nasty ass tamales like this old and dry damm

Literally found a grub/larvae/worm in my food mid-bite through a tamale. Management refused refund but offered in store credit for more food. Absolute joke.

Crap! crap! Crap! I will never eat here Keep finding God knows what in them, like cartilage or something to that nature the worst I've ever had! And rude ass people as well!

I ate there 8/12/2019. It had been awhile I was very happy I did. The drive thru is a little slow but that is ok it gives me time to relax a minute. I ordered ham egg cheese and potatoes. Plus a doz. Tamales. The burrito tasted like they used to very very good. We'll seasoned and fresh. The tamales although a bit greasy they were umm good. Like always not to much masa, hot from heat and not to spicy. Just right. I been eating at Saucedos for over 25 years plus the food has always been very good. Try them I think you will be happy. Their prices are reasonable as well.

Anything with papas is amazing and great salsa drive thru is usually good pace the tamales are ok nothing to mind blowing but yes anything with papas is amazing! The inside had a great salsa and topping bar it's great when you eat inside too! Clean area

We got some tamales (two dozen) to take home if there was half a cup of meat in the two dozen I don't know where it was hiding. Not what it used to be.

The Menudo is delicious but the customer service needs work. We come in from out of town and stop by my favorite spot for good menudo. Well use to be. The cashier wasn't pleasant in greeting us at all. We ordered and got drinks sat down and I accidentally waste my drink. The cashier gave a rude look. I'm a customer accidents happen. I offered to clean my own mess but they all looked at me like I was a stupid ass for wasting the drinks. Typical Odessa never going again. Place sucks now.

Complete waste of money. The tamales here are small flat and tasteless. When you open the plastic bag they give you, you notice the tamales wrapped in paper completely covered and dripping grease. Just gross. Also I got an asado burrito. Terrible!! If this passes for great tamales in this town it says a lot about the people's tastes. Yuck

Saucedos is a Tamale Factory in Odessa. They also have a newer location in Midland. There is a modest seating area with brightly colored walls. I personally am a fan of their chili verde burritos, but they sell tamales too. However their tamales are tasteless, but just get the burritos and you're good. They also have home made lemonade and horchata. Overall Saucedos is a great place to grab a burrito.

The food was fantastic and full of authentic flavor that can be found no where else, and the tamales were fantastic!
