Ohio-Based Saucy Brew Works Opens Its First Detroit Location in March, 2021 - Eater Detroit

"Ohio-based Saucy Brew Works opens its first Detroit location on March 3 in Brush Park, according to a press release. Located in Bedrock's City Modern development, the brewpub and coffeehouse will include indoor and outdoor seating as well as a 'coffeehouse concept' called Saucy Coffee. In addition to offering German and American-style beers, the Detroit location will serve a menu of shared plates such as meatballs, roasted cauliflower, Bavarian pretzels, and thin crust pizza, including one pizza topped with Nashville-style hot chicken. Saucy Coffee will serve pour overs, espresso, and specialty coffee drinks. The Detroit brewpub marks the fourth location overall for Saucy Brew Works." - BethMcKibben

We were taking a tour of the Hinge Town area of Ohio City. On our tour we noticed the Saucy Brew Works and decided to try it after our tour was over. There were 4 of us. We stopped in and found out it was buy one get one 10 inch pizza. So of course most of us got pizza. My friend had delicious Kansas City wings (I tried one) and a greek salad. I had two small flights of beer. And another friend had a blueberry lavender non alcoholic lemonade. I had a taste and it was really good. All in all we really enjoyed our food. And it was a nice night so we were able to sit outside. Our servers were very nice and it was a tad slow but given the special you could understand why. We saw they had other weekly specials and we definitely want to go back. The only thing I would change our first server gave us only two menus for the 4 of us. I think everyone should get a menu.

A solid place to grab a beer in Cleveland. 🍻 Stopped in after a long day at work and was surprised by the wide variety of beers available. They have flights, so you can sample a number of different types at an affordable price. Huge space with a nice seasonal patio and large bar. Service was a little slow as others mentioned, but nothing ridiculous. I haven't had food at this location, so I can't speak on it's quality. I'd definitely stop in for a beer, again.

Solid spot. The staff is very nice. They have table service now (don't remember them having that in the past). Great pizzas. (Bees knees is the best). Solid beers. Chill. Seat yourself. Parking around the area (free street parking).

I’ll start with the fact that I’ve loved Saucy for years, from dining in to ordering pizzas from them for parties, I’ve always been drawn to Saucy. However this last Thursday I’ve been turned off it for good. We stopped for lunch after a day out, and the pizza was great, the service was wonderful since there was only one man running the bar and running food to folks. What soured the visit was the fact that a dog was allowed to come in the restaurant and allowed to just hang out for a while. It started to smell like wet dog and we needed to leave. On top of the smell, two workers came to pet the dog then immediately grab to-go boxes and plates for people.

I had the veggie supreme pizza and tried the breadsticks with sauce appetizer. It was good. My friends very much enjoyed their five cheese pizza and margherita pizza, though. It was seat-yourself when we came in, and the environment is very interesting and vibrant.

Nice spot, pizza is ok. Not New Haven style as advertised. Good cheese and pepperoni tho.

Came here for lunch and to try beers new to me three days ago, late Sunday morning. The last time I was here was October 2018 and it was a great experience then. The experience when I came here a few days ago was better. The bartender Kevin was awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the beer list and the food menu, was prompt, making sure I was satisfied and provided good talk. I brought a flight of six beers of different styles and they were all very good to excellent. I like that they use a muffin tin as their flight paddles. I also had an IPA from a can that was poured into a proper IPA glass, as well as a Dortmunder Lager from a can poured into a glass. Both were very good, flavorful beers with great body. Bottom line, their beers are not boring! I also brought a 10 inch thin crust pizza with sausage and pepperoni. They don’t plop on a ton cheese, which I like, and the quality of the toppings weee very good! The crumbled Italian sausage and the red sauce were delicious and amazing. The thin crust pizza was baked so well that each slice held up the toppings, dry underneath and not soggy. One of the best pizzas I’ve had anywhere. The place is huge, big, spacious, clean and had a nice industrial meets chic atmosphere. They also have a nice outdoor patio. The men’s washroom was immaculately clean. I will definitely come back. This place delivered home runs, touchdowns and checkered flags on so many levels. They will be here for a long time! If you are using the Cleveland Brewery Passport then make sure you get your passport stamped here!

I had my rehearsal dinner in the upstairs loft space and it was great. Michael was great to work with communicating before the event and his staff during the event was so great. The food was amazing, specifically the chicken and waffle pizza, wings and sliders. We got plenty of food for such an amazing price and overall couldn’t have been happier with my experience.

Yelp
Saucy Brew Works has a large selection of beers and a large menu of bar food. I was impressed with the vegan pizza. It was perfectly spicy and the crust was very crisp. My partner prefers wheat beers or a hazy IPA in a pinch. He had a hard time finding something on the menu to suit his taste. He did enjoy the Italian sandwich. The portion was very healthy. We arrived around 6p on a Tuesday and the dining area was not too full. People started arriving as we sat there. We have ordered at the counter in the past. This time we had a server and she was great. She even saw my partner was not enjoying his beer and brought him a taster of another. The dining room has picnic table and high tops. I did not find the seating to be comfortable. Next time if the weather is not too warm maybe we will sit outside. We do enjoy the location. Hinge town is a fun area. There is street parking or a small parking garage not far from Saucy Brew Works.

Yelp
My mom and I had a couple of things not go to plan earlier so we went looking near our Soul Space Yelp elite event and picked this spot hoping to get a gluten free cauliflower crust pizza but they didn't have any of the crust this time! We walked in and the waitstaff greeted us and said pick any open spot and someone would be with us shortly. Christopher was our waiter. He was very friendly and took plenty of time to ask questions to the kitchen when we had them prior to getting our wing orders in. My mom picked the Bee Sting wings. She really enjoyed them. I had one of hers and they were indeed very flavorful. I chose the honey sriracha and that flavor is divine. I will say, both wings were more hot from being fresh out of the oven. Getting through the first couple of them, (they come in orders of six), you can really enjoy the flavors more. The wings themselves were pretty big compared to other wing places I have been. The flats and the drums. As someone who doesn't drink anymore, I appreciate there being a spot on the menu for a couple mocktails. Lots of TVs, music playing at a comfortable loud so you could hear both it and the people with you. Definitely a fun atmosphere. I saw they had trivia nights, maybe I could test my luck?! Overall, an awesome quick bite. Would love to come back and get a pizza on cauliflower crust!!

Yelp
Friendly server. His name was Chris. Be sure to ask for him. Came here because we saw they had gluten free pizza crust .... Guess what they were out of!!?? We settled on wings. I ordered the bee sting bbq flavor. A perfect level of hot. They do charge extra for celery and for dressing. Typical bar atmosphere. Large tables available for larger groups. Patio doors were open beautiful breeze tonight.

Yelp
Loved, loved, loved this place! The food was really good, especially the drinks. I got the bluegrass burger, Buffy Summers wings, and a few drinks. The burger was good but I didn't like the fatty gristle parts in it , others than that it was good. The fries were bland, but good with salt. The honey I dry rip the wings were interesting, not too bad. The Jammin Mac was good, it could have used a little more bbq sauce and meat but over all it was really good. I could do without the pretzel. The service and how it was set up was cool. No one waits on you, you have to order yourself at the bar, but overall the people were extremely nice, I mean everyone! The music was on point, the whole place was a vibe and I would love to come back. Pretty Pricey but the food and ambiance makes up for it. *park in the public parking area ( the garage) around the corner and you'll see a slide on the second floor.

Yelp
A DIY OPERATION wow my brother wanted to come here he says he's been before but I question that now lol. Let me tell u what happened. I saw Detroit road I thought, easy enough. Well it's right by urban orchid in hinge town. I picked up floral there in the past. Absolutely nowhere to park, all taken. And everybody in the city goes there at the same time. If u know u know. Had I known I would avoid the area at all cost. Road has been under construction there for the duration of my 32 years in this town. We park in the garage. There's a couple pictures next to the pay box of the three hoods that keep breaking into cars on the 2nd & 3rd floor. If u see them DO SOMETHING it basically says lol. Well I hit the clicker and in we went anyhow. Ps they didn't burgle my car, during the day anyway. Go inside. Seat yourself picnic tables. Fine. Is there a waitress? Apparently not after some sitting like an idiot. Maybe there's a sign that says order at the bar but thats how it ended up. Double pepp pizza & a couple drafts. Take them to the table yourself. Less than ideal. Did they ever have waitresses & they just gave up. Idk about these serve yourself places & I suppose if u don't like it, well don't come in? I wonder if they'd even care. What was going through my mind at the time. Moved to the bar, bartender was nice. Good beer the urban Meyer & later the funny can that says Love you, bye IPA. young couple at the end picnic table had like 12 children and the brought them all it was deafening & the carrying & the swinging and Christ knock it off already. Isn't there a law about children at the bar. Can I sponsor this law? I wasn't the only one the two girls at the other end of the bar were giving dirty looks back there but what are the parents gonna do now they don't have a sitter(s). Who would u trust to watch ur children these days. Pizza took awhile but it was great and huge. See pic. Hard to serve w no spatula lol. I got this I'll separate these slices with a knife that doesn't exist. No cutlery ha. It's kinda like "come on in and drink but ur on ur own, esp if u order food." We wanna make beer and sell it and we have food too if u want to deal with it without any help. It's how I used to sell the hot dogs at the neighborhood garage sale lol. It's so crowded in the street I didn't listen to my map and went home on Detroit. What an adventure. I'd get the pizza delivered. And I'll drink the beer. Just not there unless it was empty. All in all it was ok, I guess. It's just my radar was going off the whole time like did they make it like this on purpose?

Yelp
Okay, so not like how they used to be. I've come two times in a row where they have messed up. Last visit I ordered a large and they made me the wrong size. They fixed it by charging me for the size they served me, which was okay. This time I ordered a pizza again, wrong size. Same thing -- would charge for the size they served me. But I also ordered their garlic bread app and the bread was burnt that it was too hard too eat. FWIW, I didn't even bring this up as an issue because I was over it, but does make me feel like food is declining. When sports games are on they still play music over the game. But 3% surcharge for using your card.... Come on! Only positive is the wings are still good. There are too many negatives now to frequent this place.

Yelp
Went in for some dinner the other night thinking I was going to get some pizza but ended up getting their Figgy Wrap and omgggg it was such an expected treat of goodness!!! It was simply delicious and surprisingly filling as well, I ended up super full after it. Extremely generous on the fig jam and the goat cheese which made me super happy because usually places aren't too generous with either of those. Love their outdoor and indoor option for sitting, perfect for the summer now to enjoy your food outside, or to catch a game inside while enjoying their delicious food.

Yelp
I love Saucy! It's a great place to grab a beer and have some good food. Service is always great and the servers are always very friendly. I had the Blaze BBQ Mac and Cheese and it was very good! My only critique is that the pretzel that comes with it is very hard to bite into. I think in previous trips as well this has been the case. They taste good, but just more stiff than a regular pretzel. Saucy on Detroit is also very loud and it can be hard to hear people. However, that is not a dealbreaker as there is so many good things about this brewery!

Yelp
Hmm.... Not quite sure how to feel. After a rough day, I decided to treat myself with some Uber eats and I have been eyeing this place so I decided to try it. I ordered the Nashville, hot chicken pizza and a half pound of the garlic and pecorino wings I thought the pizza was okay... it definitely was nice to not have your red sauce pizza but I also wowed. The wings were okay too. I don't think they actually season the wings. I think they cook them and then toss them in whatever flavor you get which is fine but if it's not cold enough, it taste kind of bland. I did order this Uber Eats so I'm thinking maybe a sit down visit maybe in order to give them a full fair shot
google avatar

Chance P.

Yelp
Service was quick and you can just go up to the bar to order as well. Came in on a relatively busy Thursday. Beers were great (pumpkin ale was my fav for now) and the bbq chicken pizza was at least a 7/10. I'd stop by again to eat and watch a game.

Yelp
Such a different place since it opened...all the good bartenders quit...got rid of great food items...will not last.
google avatar

Kathy D.

Yelp
Went to this location for my first time last night with coworkers. We got three 14" pizzas for the 6 of us and it was the perfect amount. Loved the selection on here! We got: Figgy Piggy, Bees' Knees, Nashville Hot. They were all pretty good but the Figgy Piggy was the most bomb. It had crisp apple slices with marinated onion slices, fresh spring greens, prosciutto and balsamic drizzle. I like the casual, lowkey vibe and no-fuss self-service. Plenty of street parking and lots of other shops around. However, because there's no light or stop sign at the crosswalk, it can get perilous to cross when it's busy...
google avatar

Matt P.

Yelp
I got the hot honey pizza. This was pretty average. It just didn't have a flavor that popped in my mouth. The meat was very thin so when it cooked up it got a little on the chewy side. I think next time I would try something different on the menu.

Yelp
We stopped by Saucy Brew Works as part of the Cleveland Brewery Passport, and I'm so glad we did! This place absolutely lived up to the hype. First off, the beers are outstanding. We did a flight, and even as someone who isn't usually a stout person, the What His Nuts Brownie Batter Stout blew me away--it literally tasted like a brownie! Every beer we tried was solid, but that one was a standout. Beyond the drinks, the experience was made even better by our bartender, Kevin. He was hands down one of the most genuinely friendly bartenders I've ever had--so personable, great with people, and just an all-around good vibe. We also had the Bees Knees pizza, and wow--10/10. The perfect balance of flavors, and sitting at the bar made for a great atmosphere. Saucy Brew Works is a must-stop if you're in Cleveland, whether you're on the brewery passport tour or just looking for great beer, great food, and even better service. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I'll keep this one short and sweet. I ordered lunch through DoorDash and it took longer than expected. My dasher said it was because my pizza got stuck in the oven. But when it arrived it was so good! The Bees Knees has a hint of sweetness from the honey and a kick from the crushed peppers. I'm not good with heat, but I was able to eat the entire pizza without water so it's not very hot. I had one tickle that made me cough, but that was all. The capicola was crispy and didn't taste spicy at all. I also ordered the saucy bread and they were OK, but nothing special. It didn't really have the seasoning that was advertised and it was slightly dry. I wouldn't order it again. This is definitely a good pizza place. If I'm lucky enough to find myself dining in while I'm in town, I'll order a larger pizza next time so that I have leftovers.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Came on a Friday around 7pm with a group of 7 plus a baby and was able to get a table. You order at the bar and get a buzzer when your food is ready. We got the house and chopped salad (subbed ranch instead of blue cheese dressing. Loved the chopped salad. We got 3 12" pizzas for 5 people and only had a couple slices leftover. The Phat Ranch was surprisingly good (I usually don't like white pizza with chicken) . Bee's Knee's was real good. Margarita was okay. They had two N/A beers on the menu was I was excited about. Good spot overall!

Yelp
This is not a rage review, although I am extremely disappointed. This is the fourth time I been extremely let down by this place. I truly believe that it is the worst pizza in Cleveland. I always love pizza, and I literally do not like this at all. Today, they forgot one item on my order, the pizza was undercooked and doughy , the pulled pork on the sandwich tasted extremely old and dry, the burger was overcooked and dry. These people charge so much for this low quality food, I will never eat here again.

Sam B.

Yelp
Fake tenders. Sponge meat. Disgusting. Pizza is pretty crappy as well. The dough is paper thin

Mike F.

Yelp
It advertises itself as being a New Haven style pizza. Not even close. Too much cheese and flop

Kristal M.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the Caprese sandwich for $16.25!! I got two very small slices of tomato two torn pieces of Romain lettuce. I couldn't even taste the basil on a large roll definitely not worth the money!

Josie P.

Yelp
Food was very good. Ambiance was even better. Service was slow. Fun vibe! Rick climbing and hockey!

Andrew S.

Yelp
Arrived on a Sunday during a February snowstorm as they opened at 11am. We were the only ones there with 2 other couples trickling in later. Bartender was awesome and knew the character of the drafts well. 16 taps. The important styles all represented with an emphasis on coffee stout variations. Buffalo wings were not great. Other food was good. I would give beer selection and service 5 stars, but food brings the rating down.
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
We only tried the traditional pizzas and they were decent. It was very doughy and the cheese was kind of rubbery, but kind of in a good way. Like the kind of pizza you would eat as a kid. The small is the perfect size for a personal pizza in my opinion, which makes it such a good deal, because it's not too expensive. The speciality pizzas are probably a lot better though. So if you're eating out to try something new and have really good food and flavors, I would say get that. But if you're just trying to have a quick cheap meal, def go for the cheese or pepperoni. Because I feel like you really can't mess up pizza, it's just too good!

Brad S.

Yelp
I used to love coming here. The last time before today (Jan 2025) I came to Saucy brew works was in 2023. The pizza used to be some of the best around Cleveland. The crust was crunchy and airy. I could tell it was made there. The cheese was fresh mozzarella. The beer has always been just ok. During the most recent visit, the pizza was disappointing. The dough tastes like it's bought pre made and the cheese looked and tasted like it was pre shredded, out of a bag. By out of a bag i mean a 50 lb generic bag of cheese, not a bag of Kraft. The sauce is also not as good as I remember.

Emily C.

Yelp
I recently hosted an event in the event space at Saucy Brew and it was excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was great. The team there is very easy to work with and have a great attitude.
google avatar

Deb B.

Yelp
great food, drinks and service. I had the spicy mule and bees knees pizza. both were great. the crust of the pizza had a nice bite, crisp just how I like it! AND,! Not greasy!! I wasn't sure about the honey on the bees knees pizza but very nice complement! not too much honey where it is overpowering or sweet, just enough so you think huh what is that, yum! the mule was perfect!
google avatar

Erin D.

Yelp
this place was just fine. the pretzel and cheese appetizer was good! different cheese than usual but i liked it. unfortunately my mac n cheese was not cheesy, it was very buttery. my partner got the cubano and said it was good but had way too much mustard. i got the lavender lemonade but i think they were out of lemonade because it just tasted like water was in it. we didn't have a beer so no comment on that. everyone working was super nice!
google avatar

Caroline R.

Yelp
I mainly go for trivia on Thursday nights but will also go occasionally to watch a game. I love their pizza and wings. They are more upscale than a regular sports bar's menu. Always have new and rotating beers. Surprised they have a good non alcoholic selection. My only complaint is the seating and layout. Sometimes it is not busy and you can find a seat, other times it's so crowded.
google avatar

Evan G.

Yelp
I've visited this location several times and the experience is always decent. Their pizza is solid and they do offer vegan options, always a plus. I did go with a large group on a Wednesday night and they were easily able to accommodate us. Would recommend for groups.
google avatar

Bianka J.

Yelp
You have to order food and drinks at the bar - no servers. The buffalo wings were ok but a little cold. They don't let you mix wing flavors. The pepperoni on the pizza was burnt. The margarita was very sweet. There's no sense of service since you have to order and wait for everything yourself. It's a nice place to sit and hangout. My mom liked the vegan deluxe pizza and spinach salad.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
I got this for takeout so I can't comment on ambiance... However- the wings here were some of the best in Cleveland. We got two pizzas and both were 9-10/10
google avatar

Daniel A.

Yelp
Unfortunately I did not get a chance to eat the food here. What I did get was a no warning closed restaurant without updates to the website, Yelp, not the door when I approached. The phone had no message for the closure, and as a fellow entrepreneur having ran a restaurant myself this is extremely poor business practice. I understand the need for time off while family run or otherwise smaller in size business but this is poor business practices overall. It really looked good, and food from pictures and reviews really seemed great.
google avatar

Taryn S.

Yelp
Super overpriced. These were each $21 and they are very small. They were good but not worth the price
google avatar

Valerie G.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday, early dinner. Wasn't too crowded, but still a decent crowd. You seat yourself and order at the bar. There was a QR code to order off your phone via Toast, but it didn't actually work so you still had to order at the bar. The beers listed on the menu were incorrect/unavailable. They have pizzas, wings and a few shareable items to order to eat. The wings almost all had a notation next to them saying they were vegetarian/vegan, we were pumped! Turns out they didn't have a vegan option for the wings, just the sauces were vegetarian/vegan. Very deceiving and confusing. So instead we ordered the Thai Hummus platter (monthly special) and were pleasantly surprised with that!! Good flavor, pitas were good and they provided you with a lot to dip into the hummus. The vegan pizza we got was fine, but nothing special.
google avatar

Mark G.

Yelp
Amazing specialty pizzas!! The Phat Ranch is our favorite with the Bees Knees as a close second. Their gluten-free pizza is great too. I tend to eat more of their pizza as it is lighter and not as filling. The wings are, also, great. Great atmosphere inside and great takeout spot!

Yelp
Saucy Brew Works generated a pretty decent beer experience for me even though Ohio isn't a state I want to have heavy and frequent interactions with their breweries definitely are formidable and respectable for an area of the country I find a bit dull. Steve and I had three different beers from this brewery. Three different beer styles as well to get a broader range and a well rounded idea of what the quality of the beers are here. El Lager was the first beer we had. A Mexican Style Lager. I'm real picky with this kind of beer I found out. This one was okay but I felt the Mexican aspect was a bit watered down but I did taste a hint of purposeful corn grits to keep my interest going. Personally I love these types of lagers when they are barrel aged in tequila barrels. Juicy ASAP was the next beer we had. An IPA. Again, this was okay too. The fruity and dank flavors kept me going on it but nothing too terribly unique. What beer did win me over and what was the finishing touch for this brewery earning four stars was their Imperial Stout called Numb Nuts. As the name implies it's nutty and the peanut butter is the more dominant flavor with vanilla, coffee and a roasty flavor that balances out the nuts. Easily my favorite beer out of the three here and perfect for those in the mood for a Imperial Stout with a bouquet of flavor.
google avatar

Francesco R.

Yelp
In town for business and a retirement party and came here for the first time last night with some former co-workers. Beers were very good. I had this tangerine White ale and also a coffee stout. We also split two of the pizzas and stuck around to play Thursday night bar trivia, which we of course won including taking home the $30 gift card :-) so, this is probably a place the locals know but I would definitely endorse it.
google avatar

Bob M.

Yelp
This is a really chill place. They have a nice selection of beers and damn good pizza. When we are in the are we like to stop in, especially for happy hour. The staff is great, the food is great, and there's a beer for just about anyone that likes craft beer.

Yelp
Industrial modern vibe with simple bar eats and a great draft list. Great casual spot for a first date or double date. Service was quick and easy (moreso self service). Had the Phat Ranch pizza. Nice cheese to sauce ratio.

Yelp
Not only were they super busy which almost doesn't matter but we ordered through their QR thing and got the food after a while, but was told by the nice girl who gave us the food that she doesn't know anything about the drinks and that we'd have to go to the bar to get them. Checked once, didn't see them. After another 10 mins I went up to get in line and ask the guy taking orders about it. He didn't seem to understand the fact that we ordered through the QR thing and didn't have an open tab. He said if it's closed I have to open another tab and I had to reiterate the fact that they were already ordered, and no one came to give it to us. Then he just gave me the drinks and it was fine. But my god take off the option to order through the QR BS so employees don't get confused and then no one gives us a drink order for a half an hour. Also $13 for some chicken tenders that it turns out DON'T automatically come with a side are you actually fucking joking lol that is absolute robbery. If it was more clear it DIDN'T come with a side I wouldn't have gotten it. Normally I like coming here on a non busy night by my god that was an unnecessarily chaotic visit.

Yelp
I will never pass up the opportunity to try a new craft beer. Trying new breweries is always a blast for me and this one did not disappoint. We had an excellent experience here on our trip to Cleveland. The atmosphere is cool and industrial. Staff were attentive and helpful. The beers were excellent. We opted for flights so we could try several. Needless to say, I simply HAD to purchase several cans to take home based on how much I enjoyed my flight. If it's any indication as to how much I enjoyed their beers, I walked around the city to purchase a cooler so I could get my purchases home safely in the 400 mile trip! The food was quite good. We had various pizzas and apps, all of which were enjoyed by all. If I'm ever back in the area, I may stop here twice.

Yelp
I have been to this unique spot a couple of times. One side is a little coffee shop that serves up some tasty drinks-- a great iced matcha! The staff are always friendly on both sides. The other side is a bar that has some funky swing seats with cool LED lights overhead. They have some tasty inventive cocktails. I like the cold brew cocktail but made with espresso instead. They also have a tasty Turkish coffee-inspired beer that I tried out. The only food I have tried is a salad, which was pretty basic, but they have some other bar food that people seem to enjoy. I gear toward healthier foods but I know they have pizza and some other things like that. I think I would rate the coffee experience 5 stars but the bar maybe 3.5-4 just because it's a little bit of an awkward vibe (not because of the staff, and not really sure what it is that makes me say that) and the food is just ok for me. Probably wouldn't go there if eating was a top priority on my agenda. Still definitely worth a stop in, and it's on the Columbus Ale Trail.

Yelp
Overall not a good experience. The location isn't the best, but it's also not the worst. It's almost downtown, but it's not downtown. It's in Ohio city, but it's not in the heart of Ohio city. Walking in, the atmosphere was very inviting. To begin, I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and a half pound of wings in the bee sting flavor. The pizza was thin, yet had a lot of flop. It was decent but didn't match the price. The wings are what earned this review a second star. The sauce was good and with "market price" averaging $2 per wing at a "classy bar," $12 for six wings was an expected pill to swallow. After breaking down my total, I realized that the pizza alone came in at around $26. The quality and ingredients did not match the price point at all. Overall, I'd rate the pizza at a 4.6. Overall, no.

Yelp
They have qr ordering system on tables, but only able to use for food not beer. There was a little wait at the bar as other patrons had lots of questions about their beer. Beer was ok. Nice corner location so street parking only.

Yelp
My family and I ate here for dinner on a Saturday night, while in town for a baseball game, and despite not feeling very hungry or in the mood to eat out, they insisted we come here anyways. All I can say is, I am glad they convinced me to go. I had the Nashville hot chicken pizza, which was absolutely delicious - I ate the whole thing. The service was fairly prompt, and the atmosphere/ambiance was nice - a sports place with craft beer, and plenty of tvs to go around showing every sports event on TV. I will definitely be coming back here next time we come to Cleveland, and will recommend this place to everyone I know!!

Always a solid spot! Beers are always good and pizza is delicious. We live an hour away but have been here about a dozen times in the last year. Highly recommend the hot honey pizza and the pulled pork and bbq pizza. We love I love you, bye IPA They also have nice saucy balls... hahaha

Yelp
Everything was so good. The beer might be the best I've had in my whole life. The Faux Nuts and Here We Go really impressed us because they smelled just like campfire s'mores and peanut butter. The service was fast and the waiters were very quick and friendly. You can order at the bar or on your phone which keeps it from getting too crowded. It wasn't too hard to find a seat. The place is popular but it's great to go with a group of friends.
