"Right in the middle of Little Portugal between bakeries and soccer bars lies Saudade, a little shop celebrating Portuguese design. Owners Nancy and Connie import goods from Portuguese designers and artisans that blend the old with the new. There’s a little something for everyone from beautiful geometric wool blankets, to unique ceramics to Crème de Rosto face creams. Saudade translates to a wistful longing for a place, person or thing, and even if you’ve never been to Portugal, you’ll want to after visiting this shop." - Sovereign State
"In Portuguese, saudade is yearning for something that once was. And at Saudade, a lifestyle store smack in the center of Toronto’s Little Portugal neighborhood, the goal is to make the customer yearn for the old country (or wish a country as cool as Portugal were their old country). White walls providethebackdrop for a varietyof handmade crafts and Portuguese products. Wrapped soaps from Porto, vividly colored ceramic pitchers, handbags basket-wovenin rainbow hues, painted serving platters, and wooden racks displaying gorgeous textiles of cotton and wool fill the shop."

"Saudade brings select Portuguese homewares, food, and personal care goods to Toronto, from sardines and ceramics to woven textiles and cult-favorite beauty products. Perfect for gifts, decor, or nostalgic treats for a picnic in the nearby park." - Elena Mahno
Love this store. They carry tasty sardines, dark chocolate, and many Portuguese artisan stuff. I am attaching pics with very nice expresso cups sets, and hand made wine / champagne glasses. Always pleasure returning to this shop. Very friendly customer service!

What a lovely little store! Treats from Portugal abound. Tiles, soaps & creams, paper art and ceramics, food & serving trays, textiles, clothes and accessories. It's a delight. The engaging woman running the shop was more host than shopkeeper.

I was very excited about this shop. The design and ambience is appealing. The products are colorful and almost all made in Portugal. I bought a small candle since I wanted to try before buying bigger sizes or other fragrance products. Unfortunately, the candle doesn't have any scent. Absolutely nothing. :(

Great selection of authentic Portuguese products in store and online. Easy online shopping and customer support during Covid-19 days. Special Thank you for the s,mall "Thank you" card from Saudade family, it was a very nice touch. My wife loves the cake stand, which completed her Calçada Portuguesa tea set.

I received the most thoughtful and beautiful tea set gift from here, from some pretty amazing and awesome women! My mother is portuguese and they know how important family, heritage and design/decor are to me...this place has the most incredible products! A must shop!
