I was exhausted—four days into my Eurotrip, averaging 15K+ steps a day, not sleeping well, sore all over. Despite a recent bad review (reviewer was entitled af), I gave this sauna a shot, and I’m so glad I did. It completely reset my body and nervous system—the highlight of my Amsterdam trip.
If you’re a tired traveler, need a reset, or want a true European sauna experience, go. It’s a communal, co-ed, nude spa. Only towels/robes and sandals are allowed—bring your own or rent at the front desk. Most people are nude and it’s very relaxed. I went on a Wednesday around 8pm; the crowd was mostly 20s–40s.
My routine: quick shower (a must), 20 min dry sauna, rinse, 15 min infrared, rinse, cold plunge, another rinse, then relaxed outdoors under open skies with birdsong. Pure magic.
No phones or devices in sauna zones. Quiet chatting is fine, but keep it respectful—most people come to unwind.
Don’t miss this place if your body needs a break or you want a more authentic European experience.
