"Your experience here will be far more pleasant than the name suggests, with a range of global influences resulting in fabulously original dishes. The restaurant is tucked inside the Att | Kvadraturen hotel and is enlivened by a bold mural dominating one wall. Counter seats are available to enjoy the beautifully presented and technically impressive dishes which meld flavours, textures and combinations from around the world. The Dimensions menu takes guests on an 18-21 course journey from the ocean to the city, while the Classics menu comprises 14 servings of SAVAGE favourites." - Michelin Inspector

A phenomenal dining experience. I had the Shapes of Nature tasting menu and wine pairing. Not only is the food fantastic and the wine pairing spot-on, but the presentation of the dishes is in a league of its own.

Had a phenomenal dinner at Savage. I did the Dimensions menu with the wine pairing and it was worth every penny (and the price wasn’t even that bad for a Michelin starred tasting menu). The meal itself was absolutely incredible. Everything tasted amazing and the presentation was innovative and gorgeous. The wine pairing was also innovative and excellent and I had many wines I’ve never had before. But the experience went far beyond even the meal. The vibes were phenomenal. The interior aesthetics were lovely, the music was stellar, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. I was served all my wines by the head Somm and found out at the end that I was served most of my dishes by the head chef and owner! Everyone I interacted with was kind, interesting, and clearly passionate about their work. I was there for 6 hours and it appeared that most diners were there for just as long or nearly as long, but I was never bored and was happy to spend my evening there. I would HIGHLY recommend Savage if you want a long, delicious, incredibly memorable meal like none other.

What a wonderful experience throughout. We had the Classics menu and everything just came together to make for a wonderful evening. I cannot think of one dish that let us down. The little bites in the beginning showed so much variety while remaining true to the regional and seasonal philosophy, the meat and fish were cooked to perfection. The venison, oh my god. Chef Andrea came to our table and explained the 2 hour cooking process. The thing is, if such a complicated procedure results in a decent but underwhelming dish of meat and bits on the side, it is a pity. But this was probably the best piece of game I have ever eaten. Rare and so tender throughout with a thin crust of sweet, caramellized grilled flavours, gamey and smokey while still delicate, with just the necessary amount of sauces and kale on top to make the meat shine. What especially enthralled us about the style of cooking was the fusion of Nordic and Italian flavors which came together beautifully and the lightness of the dishes. Northern cuisine in Winter can be quite heavy and one-dimensional but fermented, fruity and tart elements elevated the dishes so that they left your palate clean and refreshed. The piece of fried sweetbread, for example, was accompanied by kimchi and preserved apricot - delightful! Another element that stood out was the non-alcoholic drinks pairing, tea-based concoctions that mirrored the dishes - lots of umami and carefully balanced acidity, perfectly round and pleasant and genuinely exciting. Service was great and attentive, very formal and classic but not cold or snobbish. Explanations about the dishes and drinks, especially when they came from the people who prepared them made us feel like they are just passionate about what they do and have good reasons why they do things a certain way - and it came across with every bite and sip. Also very accomodating with dietary restrictions. I'll be back.

The best dinner of my entire life. Savage, no stars will ever be enough to describe our experience here. We were lucky to find a table for my birthday, after joining the waiting list. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left the door, everything had been truly exceptional and very special. The chefs and the whole staff are amazing, very skilled and passionate, which is reflected in every dish that was served to us. Every dish was an explosion of flavours, from starters to the dessert. I wish this restaurant the best and I am sure there will be plenty more Michelin stars to come, because they deserve it. Great job guys!

We had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, well-educated and attentive. The food was very well presented and there were so many amazing flavours! 10/10 would recommend! I had the juice pairing, all made in house and really tasty!

Perfect gastronomical journey It’s a definitely an awesome dinner experience! Here you can choose Parallel menu (18 or 19 courses, duration ~3h) or Refractions menu (8 or 9 servings, duration ~2h), I highly recommend you to try the first option. This menu shows you all the Chef’s creativity and includes many different tastes combinations. We’ve started in a green hall with first four snacks servings and it was a strike - everything was so interesting and very tasty! Promising start and the whole set came up to our expectations :) There are different wines, and waiters can help you with a choice, cocktails are not presented in the menu, but a bartender can mix you a cocktail for your request. Very attentive, smiley and welcoming staff. It’s very good when level of service corresponds with a high cuisine. We really liked the evening.

The food, service, and wine pairings were all on point — thoughtful, well-executed, and memorable. The kitchen clearly has the skill to deliver at a very high level. That said, there were a few misses worth noting. The Shapes of Nature menu is described as running 19–21 courses, but we received 15 without much explanation from the kitchen. It’s not the number of courses that matters so much as the lack of context — when dining at this level, guests expect transparency. The atmosphere also suffered a little on this visit: a table of twelve was loud enough to dominate the room, making conversation difficult. At times it felt as if both the staff and the chef-owner were more focused on them than on the rest of the dining room. Finally, I had read multiple rave reviews about their bread service, but it was skipped or overlooked at our table — a small thing, but one that adds to the impression that this may have been an off night in the kitchen. It happens, of course, but consistency is what separates the truly great from the very good. Overall, I would still highly recommend this restaurant — the quality of food and pairings shows that the talent is absolutely there. I just hope the growing hype isn’t starting to overshadow the experience, as the pressure of stars can sometimes do.
