Google
Cute candy shop to bring the kids because Nashville strip is drinking and eating! Lol. Fill your kids up on some candy until you hit the next bar. Plenty of choices and plenty of ways to spend.

Google
Everything looks so good and enticing. Almost too many to choose from. Mouth watering for sure. Make sure to add this store to your list.

Google
I loved that I got a free sample as I walked in the door, they had a special on the chocolate gophers, which are kind of like turtles, pecans, caramel, and chocolate, or they might be almonds, not sure but they’re delicious and we bought a bunch of those. The quality of the chocolate you can taste and it’s a fun little place. A little crowded but got great service despite the crowds.

I was visiting from NYC the other day. Loved the variety of sweet candy options in the middle of downtown Nashville full of country music bars.

Matthew Blackburn

Google
One busy little candy shop worth checking out if you're in the area! Some of the workers seemed frazzled and weren't super friendly but it's still a good place.

Google
Savannah’s Candy Kitchen was such an amazing candy store to visit. I was very impressed with their large selection of both chocolatey items and candy. They also had gelato in the back of the store as well! I am not someone who likes to get gummies when there are so many great chocolate/fudge options, but I have to say they made some of the best gummies I have ever had. They had fun designs/molds and most importantly all of them were fresh. I would recommend getting the chocolate covered marshmallows and most importantly, the praline. I can’t wait to go back!

Google
Consistently one if the best spits on Broadway to sugar up. Lot of nostalgic candy, fresh pralenes and lots of house made chocolates.

First time in Nashville had a lot of fun until we went here and was doubled charged for the Carmel popcorn $22.67 for a 16 oz bag. We call and left a message but no return call back. Went back to the store and the manager refunded back the extra charge. Please check your receipt before leaving, not sure how many time this might has happened to other guests.

Yelp
I loved Savannah's Candy Kitchen they had so much varieties of candy. I purchased caramel apples, I wish the caramel apples had some sprinkles without the chocolate but it was still good. I bought one caramel apple & another one the next day but had it cut up. I prefer the whole apple, the cut up one was stuck to the paper & was way more messy than I thought it would be. They have homemade ice creams that looked super creamy. The servers were nice & patient.

Yelp
I had just finished eating lunch and was still cooling down from my"hot chicken" experience. I saw all this candy in barrels not too far from the door and scooted in to check things out,  lol. The candy store was huge with different types of candies. They had the old school candies, the different jelly bean flavors, and my favorite "chocolate." They had different types of chocolates with nuts. I was trying to decide what I was going to purchase when I saw my absolute favorite,  caramel apple with peanuts. lol. I stopped looking and just purchased.  The cashier asked if i wanted my apple Sliced, and i said yes. As I was waiting to finish my checkout, I did see an area where they sold gelato and/or ice cream.   There's something for everyone in this store, and I would definitely return to purchase some other items.

Yelp
The array of sweets, treats and more here will satisfy any craving post bar-hop adventure. We visited multiple times throughout our trip. Fun to come in and explore the options. They also have ice cream/gelato!

Bee W.

Yelp
Wow! Talk about overwhelming you with treats. The choices were amazing. Candy apples, pralines, ice cream, everywhere you look you had a choice. Love the train which goes around the store above the shoppers. Decided on ice cream in a waffle cone because the flavors looked enticing. And a matcha waffle cone? Yes please. Troy scooped me a chocolate ice cream serving and was nice about it. It was delicious. The waffle cone was mild and fragrant. Perfect for the chocolate flavor. The atmosphere is so fun. I'm going again before I leave.

Yelp
Savannah's is a legit candy shop. They make a majority of their goodies and carry a large variety of sweets. Upon entering you will be offered their freshly made candied pralines. They have all sorts of candies that are harder to get and ones they make. They make truffles, chocolate covered goods, gummies, gophers, caramel popcorn, brittles, and taffies. I've had their chocolate covered nut items and truffles and thought they were okay. Besides candies, they also have a wide variety of house made ice cream towards the back. I like coming to Savannah's to pick up gifts for friends and family back home. The staff working here are very very nice. They are super helpful and patient.

Christa M.

Yelp
The smell of candy and kettle corn is what lured us into this candy shop. It was very busy when we walked on in and people were scattered throughout the store - the good thing is that it's pretty big. I quickly grabbed myself a bag of kettle corn and grabbed some dog treats for my fur babies back at home. Total was about $18. Employees were friendly and service was fast. They have so many yummy treats to pick from!! They had a train going around the store and I could literally watch it go around all day...

Billie E.

Yelp
You want candy? Savannah's Candy Kitchen's has it all. There's a guy handing out pralines as you walk in. OMG! The sample wasn't enough, had to buy some more. There's ice cream hiding in the back

Bin H.

Yelp
Definitely a place to stop by for your sweet tooth cravings (pralines, popcorn, candies, jellies, cotton candy, you name it they have it). I purchased a caramel apple with peanuts for dessert, and it was super tasty. The caramel melted in my mouth and they definitely used fresh granny smiths because it was still super crisp, so I was able to tell it was recently made. It did cost $9 and some change, but was worth it.

Jessica G.

Yelp
This place is awesome!! It's kid friendly right beside Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa. We popped in here right after we ate on Broadway! My kids got a small bag of candy that is priced on the weight of the bag. They have chocolate goods, fudge, candy apples, ice cream, prepackaged candy, and pretty much anything you can think of! You can watch them making the fudge and apples in house and it is an entertaining aspect for the kids! The people there are helpful but it's a mad house so be prepared!! There's a ton of sugar and kids, the chaos is incredible! I will visit this every time I'm on Broadway with or without my kids!

Rebecca O.

Yelp
I purchased pralines. they were placed in a box. About 4 days later i went to eat one and they were all dried out . I contacted the company and they said nothing they could do BAD CANDY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE....

Michelle O.

Yelp
11/16/23: Can you say sweet tooth heaven, diabetic coma, dentist's dream..Welcome to Savannah's candy kitchen located on the broadway strip. As you enter you are greeted with samples of their praline which is made on premises. The aroma that wafts through your nose is so tantalizing. The shop is brightly lit, beautifully displayed if you exit without a purchase you're probably not human. Tons of chocolate and treats on display. In the back is also ice cream and a variety of specialty cones. I had the cinnamon sugar cone with cookies and cream ice cream.. absolutely devine. When in Nashville and on the strip this is a must stop even if it's to sample their praline pecan.

Elaine L.

Yelp
Went in to fix a sweet craving- bought some milk chocolate gophers and some salt water taffy. The chocolates were good but the taffy was super hard and i was not able to take the wrapper off to enjoy the candy. Perhaps it was old? The pecan samples that were given out were delicious.

Sarah J.

Yelp
Let the sweet sweet aroma of Savannah's Candy Kitchen lure you off of the busy broadway curb and into candy heaven. This candy shop has anything and everything you could possibly want in a sweets shop. They boast in their pralines, fudge, and even ice cream. Barrels and various containers of candy fill this giant store with enticing flavors and colors that only those with the strongest of wills can pass by without giving into some sort of craving or nostalgic indulgence. Savannah's Candy Kitchen makes treats fresh right in front of you, and even passes out scrumptious samples! The smells are divine; your nose can tell that this is quality candy! They have old treats that you may not have seen in years, inventive and new time treats that take you out of your comfort zone, and all the sweet confections in between. It is a huge store but not overly crowded, there is space to move and shop around as you decide just what your tastebuds plan of attack will be. The staff are friendly and clearly know how to create delicacies that keep the crowds coming. Prices are steep but what do you expect for quality candy in downtown Nashville?! Make sure you check out this candy shop and save plenty of room to try all the melt in your mouth sweets!

Maria-Elena T.

Yelp
No way to walk in here and not buy something! Even after the free praline sample. We got jellied candies and they were a sweet sugary delight! Each one tasted different.

Joanna D.

Yelp
I'm a gourmet candy lover. See's Candies has always been my favorite place for chocolate. This candy kitchen rivals See's. The pecan pralines are absolutely delicious and melt in your mouth. The white and dark chocolate candies are divine. And they have a candy wall filled with all the yummy things! Highly recommended.

Trae J.

Yelp
Great service. A place just for every kind of candy. I got a caramel apple and rice crispy treat.

Enna J.

Yelp
the BEST pecan pralines ever!!!!! you can watch them make them and they give you samples as soon as you walk in. The shop smells divine and everything's reasonably priced.

Allyssa P.

Yelp
So eye catching on Broadway! Especially the ice cream. It really saved us in the nasty, humidity. My cousin had a scoop of their banana budding in a cone and she was obsessed. She said it was the best banana pudding ice cream she's ever had. Lol I had a caramel apple and was a bit disappointed that the caramel was soft and too sticky. It was also pretty expensive for $8.95. But it's almost expected because it's on Broadway.

Ellen K.

Yelp
Jellies, candies, and sweets galore! You are sure to find something to satisfy your sweet tooth and reignite your childhood candy nostalgia at Savannah's Candy Kitchen.

Kayla L.

Yelp
Fun stop if you're needing something sweet! They have something for everyone. Caramel apples, sour candy, gelato, and chocolate galore!! I'm a chocolate gal so I tried a few different truffles. My favorite was the sea salt caramel, sooo gooey - it's a MUST!! You pay by the lb so you can either stock up (like I did) or grab one small truffle to satisfy for sweet tooth (my sister's style). Five small truffles came to $3.99. So very reasonable for delicious chocolates. The gelato was delicious and they have quite a large selections of flavors.

Latrice A.

Yelp
Oh my gosh we almost missed this place. We were traveling up and down Broadway with so many sites and bars and some kind of way we saw this delightful candy shop. We were even able to get some samples of praline and fudge. I ordered a caramel chocolate pecan apple. I think it was about 10 bucks or so. Absolutely amazing! My apple survived the ride back home . They have something that we will call in Chicago a turtle. I can't think of the name but they were hugely expensive at $29 a pound but my friend got hers. I think it came out to about $6 or so. There are a lot of things being made as you come in but we had to learn the hard way not to order one fresh cuz it needs to harden and sit. But I really enjoyed myself in a candy shop

Sheryl H.

Yelp
On October 20, 2023, we Received a rotten apple In The red candy apple and the candy outside had a bitter strange taste. The chocolates are over priced and just mediocre. Not worth the money or the calories. Avoid!

Erica M.

Yelp
Very tight quarters and very very busy. The saltwater taffy or taffy was okay but they had a lot of the same flavors in the bag so that was not really favorable. The workers were kind didn't really speak unless spoken to but otherwise was a great little place to visit.

Taylor M.

Yelp
Total sugar high! I got a caramel apple and a white chocolate m&m pretzel, my husband got a caramel turtle candy. That was the BEST and freshest caramel apple I've ever eaten. - little messy to try to eat on Broadway, but wasn't about to carry it around all night. Had numerous people ask me where I got it and say how good it looked!

Gina C.

Yelp
OMG this is a MUST stop while on Broadway!!! They have the best pecan praline candy!!! They give out free samples when you first walk in. This is all I come here for every time I'm in town!! I get a big box & then you get a FREE small box with the purchase of a big one. Now I can't remember the size/pound of each box but just ask them & they will know what your talking about!! They make it fresh in store very day! You can also order it on-line to have it delivered. I don't even like nuts in my candy, cookies or bread but these are the BOMB!! They have some ice cream in the back....it looks soooo good but I have yet to try it. Maybe on my next visit, next year? I LOVE ice cream!! They have lots of candy to choose from some (depending on how old you are) will take you down memory lane. I even saw some cute metal lunch box tins!!! I almost gave in & bought one. Besides then selling pecan pralines they have fudge & lots of chocolate covered things. Unfortunately they didn't have my favorite flavors of fudge. I like maple & penuchi without nuts. They didn't have either. You definitely have to stop in here even if you don't want to buy anything @ least pop in for your free sample of pecan pralines & then maybe you might change your mind on buying something!! Enjoy!!

Chelsea G.

Yelp
Unforgettable pralines. We've been to the original shop in Savannah and we're excited to see one on Broadway. Things you should know: I. LOCATION Along Broadway with all the lights. Don't worry, they have a lit up sign of their own to guide you in to their store. II. SERVICE They give free praline samples when you walk in the door, so I mean, how can you complain with that? What's nice is they're open LATE ~ until 11p.m. III. QUALITY Delicious. We've tried other items but always refer back to the pralines IV. CAPACITY It's in a busy area with a lot of foot traffic, so naturally the store has quite a bit of traffic too.

Akshay R.

Yelp
This is a candy kitchen with lots and lots of candy. I saw millions of candy pieces. They give a sample when you enter and I liked there candy. They also sell Harry Potter butterscotch beer.

Ashley S.

Yelp
I'm a little spoiled since I got to spend 3 years going to the flagship store on River Street in Savannah, but I was thrilled to see something familiar! Of course you walk in and they do the free praline tastes. They have the ice cream and the apples and candies, but not quite to the scale of the one in Savannah. It is a smaller one and they don't do all the fun decorated candies.

Gabe P.

Yelp
What's not to love about this candy shop?! It's located right on Broadway where all the action is. It's perfect! The moment you walk in all the smells hit you right in the face! Fudge samples awaits you as well. I'm not a huge fudge fan but I never seem to be able to turn theirs down. This was probably my 3rd or 4th time coming here, so I managed to maintain self control. I purchased some pralines (not for me) and a pecan caramel apple. I absolutely LOVED the apple! It was the perfect treat and it was very well crafted! Worth every penny and I ate off of it a couple of days. This place is always busy so no need in complaining about the wait we experienced at checkout. I love coming here for sweets & treats whenever I'm in Nashville! There's such a variety of candy and they even have ice cream! I recommend coming here to get your sugar fix before or after you've had too much Broadway street fun !!! You won't regret it. It's all a part of the experience!

Bob B.

Yelp
Looking for a wide variety of candy. Know for their praline. This candy store is your spot when you are not in Savannah. Recommend to sample the praline when you first walk in. **covid update:I gave it a lower because they were not social distancing and requiring mask for customers

Nikhil R.

Yelp
This is a winter wonderland for the candy lovers out there as well as fudge or chocolate lovers. Walk inside anytime to get free samples of their pralines they are making out front or any of their amazing fudges that they have in the back. This is paradise for those with the sweet tooth, and even if candy is not your thing, it is worth checking out!

Laura G.

Yelp
I loved my experience at Savannah's Candy Kitchen. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the friendliest employee ever. He was making fresh pralines and offering up free samples. After my first taste I was hooked and had to purchase a couple. I thought that New Orleans had the best pralines but Savannah's Candy Kitchen proved otherwise. I will be back before the end of my trip so that I can bring some home. In addition to fresh made pralines they also sell loads Old Fashioned Candy, ice cream and a huge variety of chocolates. The women checking me out was just as friendly as the gentleman working in the front of the store.

Travel Q.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream and candy. I ordered a scoop of banana pudding ice cream and a scoop of some sort of praline flavor. Both were very good.

Michelle H.

Yelp
My husband and I came in today and this place was amazing ! Had everything and anything your heart desires in regards to sweets ! The lady at the cash register was amazing and very friendly and helpful as were both gentleman that were making the chocolates even offering us a sample ! We are 100% satisfied with our purchases , 100% satisfied with the prices and 100% satisfied with the customer service we received- we will definitely be back ! I also need to say again , It's always so nice having excellent customer service where the employees actually care and are kind and friendly -

Ashley L.

Yelp
Stopped last night and got praline and cream Ice cream and cotton candy ice cream and it was amazing Food :5/5 Service :5/5

Yelp
As you peer thru the large window on Broadway, your eyes will feast on dozens of freshly made Caramel Apples & warm Pralines. It is difficult to walk by this large candy store w/o stopping! This is a large chain location that originated in Georgia. It's open 10 AM to 10 PM Sunday thru Thursday, & 10 AM till 11 PM on weekends. Other state locations include South Carolina, Maryland, and soon Florida (Miami). This truly is a large & very busy candy store on Broadway that also sells many flavors of Gelato. Do NOT stop in expecting to find great prices on candy! Most of the candy is not made at this franchise. It's shipped it from the parent company. (The popular pralines, as well as the chocolate and/or caramel dipped apples are made on site.) The assortment of candies is extremely large, which is a positive. However, oddly there are NO PRICES ON MUCH OF THE CANDY you'll find here, & that includes the prepackaged candy-- see pic! And there are few labels as well. Not posting prices is a mind blower (for me), but apparently tourists are not hesitating to buy. The two cases of Gelato to the rear of the store hold many varities-- SEE PIC. A single serving is $4.95 for a regular cone & $5.95 for a waffle cone. Doubles are $6.95 & $8.95. My daughter is a huge fan of the Banana Pudding flavor. Rootbeer Floats & Milkshakes are $6.95. We purchased Chocolate Raspberry Truffles; Dark Chocolate Coconut Clusters; Pralines (EXCELLENT); Milk Chocolate Pecan Gophers; Salted Milk Chocolate Caramels; & prepackaged candy for kids. Unsure of how much we paid for the non packaged candies, we do know they were expensive-- our two combined bills totalled approx $110. (The prepackaged candy actually cost the most.) There's pretty much every candy available here-- which patrons will line up to purchase at the large oval display case in the center of the store. (There were just two center area cashiers for much of the time we were in the store; however, a third finally joined in after the bulk of the customers had finished w/ their purchases.) This is definitely a candy shoppe any kid would love-- SEE PICS. This is not a candy shoppe to visit if you are on a budget or hate to stand in line...or want to know ahead of time how much the candy costs per pound PRIOR to standing in line. There is a convenient ATM on the premises.

Ca W.

Yelp
Best fudge I've ever had and I have tried a lot from many states and local bakeries. It is the absolute best I've found. They have several different variety of candies and buttercreams. My husband enjoyed the buttercreams and we can't find anywhere else.

Family A.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to buying something made in house, What a disappointment, poor service. I will not support a business that hires inept or socially awkward employees. It was a slow Tuesday, not one single employee gave us a proper greeting. We walked in and one guy was making candy (a working man). And at least one other person seemed to be assisting him, running finished product back. 6 people we standing behind the register counter talking to each other. 2 people standing behind the ice cream counter saying nothing unless you looked directly at them. When a customer walks in, someone should greet them with eye contact. Ask if they need help finding anything... at least. One person spoke to me, she said "ready to check out?". I had both Hands in my pockets. I walked out.

Rob S.

Yelp
If you're looking for something to fix a sweet tooth, this should probably be near (if not) the top of your list for places to visit. As soon as you walk through the door your senses go into overload smelling all the sweetness you are about to experience. Also, as you walk in, they have employees making some of the sweet treats and offering samples to help try to hook you (as if that's even needed). As you first enter to the left they have more traditional candies, but really kind of something for everyone. As you get deeper into the store you come to the fresh prepared fudges, marshmallows, covered pretzels, gelato, covered apples ... and much, much, so much more. They even have some treats for your dog (not sure what they are covered in though ... may want to ask before making a purchase). Staff was friendly and took great care of us when it was our turn. Really the only reason for a deduct on the ratings is that the price is on the high side. Their stuff is good, and they probably have a pretty steep rent payment where they are located .... but it's still pretty pricey to get everyone a treat. But, at the end of the day, we'd return and we'd recommend to others.

Linda M.

Yelp
Never saw people serving at the counter with a worst attitude! No smiles. They acted like we were bothering than!

Darylynn D.

Yelp
Initially I walked by this place because I was trying to be good and not have sweets, but the entire store is very alluring. When I walked in I was given a sample of their freshly baked pralines. I took a bite of the praline and I was completely won over. What surprised me the most is that the treat looks similar to brittle, but it does not have the texture of it at all. They have the chocolate praline which is less sweet than the original praline, but both are still really good. I also got the white chocolate goober. It is almonds, caramel, and chocolate. Again, not to sweet. They have seemed to perfect that here..having sweets that aren't too sweet.

William K.

Yelp
While I am not a turtle person, Savannah's has the best peanut butter cups you will find. Sadly they don't seem to sell them on their web site, so the only way to get them is to stop in and hope they have them in stock. Great tasting chocolate and nice creamy peanut butter makes them much better tasting than Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or Reese's. Definitely give them a try if peanut butter cups are your thing; they are available in dark as well as white chocolate and also with embedded M&Ms. Definitely recommended and worth the price!

Rumit P.

Yelp
Huge candy store with free samples of freshly made pralines---the best I've ever tasted. There are all kinds of sweets and desserts and chocolate-covered pretzels and even tins to fill with as much candy and taffy you can for one flat price. There's even an active train set running across the ceiling. In a highly touristy areas so the prices are higher than normal, but conveniently situated and crowded with tourists. I bought $6 worth of taffy! Delish.

Mary P.

Yelp
Free praline samples, if you can stand the sugar rush that comes from biting into these sweet treats. A Nashville outpost but not an original. The train is a cute touch. They have several flavors of gelato but don't like you sampling more than two. I ended up trying a blood orange sorbet that tasted kind of fake. They have a bunch of typical issue chocolate covered things like marshmallows and "gophers" which are chocolate sandwiched caramel with pecan bits. They have standard old time-y brands like bit o honey. And of course the goo goo's. This isn't chocolate for the refined palate; that single origin, sourced type of stuff. This is a candy store through and through. I appreciate it for this and also being located smack in the middle of all these bars...

Samantha B.

Yelp
We visited the one run by the son in Savannah and loved it. So of course we had to check this one out. I love the display that spells out Nashville in food. I am sad the toy machine above our heads doesn't carry any candy but it's unstable so maybe it's for the best, haha! Loved - Bark: Milk Chocolate Oreo - Bark: Tiger - Chocolate Pralines - Fudge - Gelato: Praline - White Chocolate Striped Pretzel Twist Liked: - Dark Chocolate S'more - Truffle: Dark Chocolate Ok: - Cookies and Cream Fudge - Dark Chocolate Graham Cracker Smore - Dark Chocolate Oreo Pretzel Twist - Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel - Gelato: Buttery - Pralines - Truffle: Key Lime Disliked: - Truffle: Strawberry Cheesecake

Nicole E.

Yelp
This place is a pure sweetness overload. There's fudge, caramels, gophers, pretzel covered yumminess, huge rice crispy bricks covered with toffee or Oreos, gigantic caramel apples, old school candies, weighed candies, toffees, pralines, barks, ice cream and whatever your sweet tooth might be craving. Got the dark chocolate gopher and dark chocolate covered pretzels in an attempt for slightly healthier dark chocolate. The gopher was good, it's pieces of pecans sandwiched with a swath of caramel and lovingly topped with dark chocolate. Who knew a gopher could taste so good. The dark chocolate pretzels were also tasty. The pretzels were still crispy despite being smothered in dark chocolate

Steven L.

Yelp
Great candy! Wonderful employees! Great atmosphere. But I almost walked out. Reasonable prices for the quailty. I can understand being short of certain items during the pandemic. But the switcheroo they pulled with signs identifying products was very frustrating. "I'll have the peanut butter cups" "Sorry, we're out of those" "But there are some in the shelf behind the sign". "No those are S'mores." *groan* (I had my heart set on my first choice.) Repeat the same discussion for three out my next five choices. Grrrr. The lady behind the counter was nice and said that it is frustrating for the staff, they have to keep denying customers their desires. She said it has something to do with keeping the shelves full. HEY! It is a stupid 1/2" x 3" paper sign. Print the right ones and switch them out with the product you DO have. It CAN'T be that difficult, can it?

Brielle P.

Yelp
Yummy dessert and a must stop at located right on broadway in Nashville! We enjoyed their pralines, chocolate and rice krispy treats. Fast and friendly service. They have so much to choose from! Ice cream, fresh candy, local candy, name brand candy. They also have holiday specific candy (we went around Valentine's Day and there was lots of hearts and flowers etc). Definitely stop by if you're craving a sweet treat!

Joshua T.

Yelp
This place has an enormous selection of candy and treats! my son loved picking his own items to place into his bag. Although it was extremely crowded due to the holiday time frame (Thanksgiving), the store was still efficiently processing orders and helping guests. We will be back for sure the next time we are in Nashville.
