Have been coming for many years and am never ever, ever disappointed. The atmosphere is charming. The food is always superb. Was Actually I am continually amazed with every salad, appetizer, dish and desert. Their bruschetta is the best. My wife and I had our first date here 4 years ago and will always recommend this to our dear friends. Every one that we have recommended to go here have become regular clients of this stellar establishment. I highly recommend you give Savelli’s your business.

Probably some of the worst Italian food I’ve had. When we arrived, after being sat, no one came to our table for about 10 minutes and then the waitress finally brought two waters. There were four of us so she said she would be right back with two more, she did not come right back and it was at least another 5 minutes before she came back. The table was wobbly and too much movement made me think the table was about to fall over. We ordered garlic bread to start, that was probably the only decent thing we had. I ordered the lobster fettuccine Alfredo and it was, to say the least, not good at all. The noodles look like they are from a box, the sauce was watery and did not have good flavor, and to have paid $40+ for that dish alone, it was not worth it. Very disappointing for an Italian restaurant.

When we travel we try to go to a local restaurant. Savelli's had good reviews, and we were starving. We arrived around a little after 5 and were able to get seated right away without reservations. Then it got busy shortly after. The menu prices shocked me at how expensive it is. I have been to more upscale restaurants that were priced similar. But I chalked it to it being homemade and probably really good. The food portion was fair, but taste was mediocre. A lot of salt and pepper was needed. The gnocchi lacked something. The calamari was dry. I would not recommend if you are more used to bold flavors.

Google
The fact that I paid $25 for a half pep, half cheese pizza and the slices look like this is ridiculous. The thin crust was super soggy, which lets me know the dough wasn't stretched evenly. The pizza was barely even cut, and that part that was, was uneven. Mind you I waited 45 mins for this pizza, because the pics I saw online looked worth it. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the cheese was a good consistency and had good flavor. Never again smh.

Amazing grilled Mahi Mahi on Ciabatta bread - the fish was so fresh & Fantastic ! My mom said was the best tomato bisque soup she has ever had ! Jacks Pepperoni pizza looked great also & the veggie sub with ham also excellent! Why have I not been coming here more ! ? Nice music not crowded ! Love it 😍! We are coming back soon ! Good service !

Google
HORRIBLE! Small establishment and although small we thought it was a very nice interior with table linens and a nice looking menu with what appears to be decent offerings. I would like to preface and say our waitress was attentive and caring. To start we ordered the daily appetizer special of Fried Zucchini and were disappointed with the breading and the oil that they were fried was old. Hubby and I both ordered the Chicken Florentine and they first brought me a breaded entree, which was not what the menu said but the waitress quickly offered to switch it to an un-breaded breast which I appreciated. Unfortunately the chicken was flat and tasteless, it was a frozen meat. The sauce was way too thick and flavorless, the spinach also tasted as if it had been frozen; NOT a $21 dollar plate and I could not eat this. We ordered a side of broccoli that still had the dirty stem end attached, and was waterlogged from boiling. The garlic bread was a good size piece of ciabatta but the butter was unsalted, agin not much flavor. This overpriced dinner did not come with a salad or vegetable and the garlic bread was an uncharge. I will never eat here again and do not recommend this establishment.

Google
I’d eaten here for years when I worked down the road and loved it. I haven’t been here in years so I wanted to share the place with my wife. Food was decent but a bit pricey. Sampler was good but the Alfredo sauce on my wife’s plate was watered down and really thin. Sadly not as good as I remember

Google
This little restaurant never disappoints! We celebrated our 31st anniversary with savory dinners and scrumptious desserts! I had the Greek salad and the chicken Alfredo; hubby had the seafood Alfredo….both fantastic! And the desserts! I had the chocolate cake/ice cream and he had the key lime pie. We waddled out of there completely satiated 😊

Yelp
Four of us dined last night, and were very pleased wih our meals and service. Our server, Melanie, was pleasant, professional, and most accommodating. Worth the 45-60 min drive from our home, we'll be back!

Yelp
Celebrated an anniversary. The service was exceptional; our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent wine pairing suggestions. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and had a charming rustic decor that made us feel right at home. Portion sizes were generous, and every dish showcased high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes. Overall, this is by far the best Italian restaurant I've visited!

Yelp
I thought this spot was okay, but it wasn't really my favorite. The wedding soup is really good, but I wasn't wowed by the spaghetti. Friendly staff, it is in a small house almost. Interesting vibe for sure.

Yelp
Fabulous food and staff. Wonderful atmosphere;and you can never go wrong with ordering the special on any given night. My crew comes down, when in town. THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!

Rachel S.

Yelp
Been here several times and the food is always amazing!! The wait staff are always very enjoyable and kind!! It is a smaller place but that is apart of its charm! I would recommend it to anyone!

Yelp
Well it's been almost five years since I have been to Knoxville...see my last (and soon to be updated review) of Brewster's Ice cream. I got into town at about 9:30 am on Thursday morning. I was planning on doing all the things, but in reality I just slept for most of the day. I periodically got up to keep my blood pumping and by the time it was lunchtime I was advised that my mom was taking me and and some family friends out for dinner @ Savelli's. I suddenly got hungry. We got to the restaurant around 6 pm. The parking was pretty sparse. My mom wanted to park in the parking lot of Gus's Hot Chicken, but I told her not to, seeing as there were signs specifically saying not to if you weren't eating there. The friends that came to meet us shortly after did not heed the warning. They were promptly "advised" that their car would be towed if it wasn't moved. We walked into the restaurant. It still had the white sheer fabric curtains acting like makeshift drywall. We were seated quickly. We both got salads to split before. The shaved parmigian and Caesar dressing made for a nice crisp start to the meal. This is where things go slightly askew. Everyone was asked what toppings they wanted. In the end it was Caramalized onions, pepperoni, green peppers and mushrooms. I knew that traditional New York style pizza is usually cheese and/or pepperoni. The water content of the veggies did cause the pizza to lose its "foldable" characteristics, but it was still delicious. The onions were flavorful, the mushrooms were good, the pepperoni was slightly spicy. The only regret were the green peppers. They were mushy and not very effective as a topping. The crust was delicious though, crispy and solid. Truth be told I had three of the eight slices. Obviously I was able to eat this delicious pizza. Next time we will control our American desire for excess and do the right thing.

Yelp
Knoxville is my hometown and I now reside in a Michelin star city. Savelli's gets 5 stars long before the "general public" rating restaurants was a thing. This place is a gem all the way around. The essence of mom and pop, generational family business, and a great "hole in the wall". For being in a landlocked state I can recommend the seafood. Had blue crab ravioli and it was did not disappoint. Bring your wine and good people and get ready to relax and enjoy their food. I like their red sauce too. Not too tangy imo. If you're complaining about parking, pouring your own wine after paying the uncorking fee, or slow service you're petty. I hope this local treasure is here to stay for generations and changes to come. Def call to make a resy. Xo Sabs

Yelp
The Ambiance was great as we were the only ones there soft romantic music playing. I ordered the Italian sub over the moon delicious and my order the sausage sub and chips she said it was a masterpiece and she wasn't kidding because she devoured it The place has a BYOB of wine witch is kinda cool.

Yelp
Overall a super cute and tiny place. The waiting area is maybe a 4x4 spot that has some curtains to help separate it. It is BYOB and when you make the reservation they remind you on the phone. We really enjoyed our evening there and the food was very good. Service staff was very nice and helpful. Our only big complaint was that there weren't any prices so the final bill caught us off guard, don't get me wrong we still would've eaten there and got the same stuff but not sure we would've order two desserts etc. Soups- both soups had great flavor Bruschetta- different take on it, as it was baked with cheese - it was still very good Sea Bass - was a little overcooked on the bottom but the flavor was very good, and a nice big piece of fish, the risotto was ok, a little dry but overall good Seafood Alfredo - very good sauce, it had lobster, crab and shrimp - found about 3 pieces of shell but again very good Creame brûlée- yum! Creame brûlée cheesecake- yum! Bring your own wine, sweet savings when you think about it! Will definitely go back.

Dave L.

Yelp
A small family business that I love. You need reservations and parking can get interesting. Food and services can't be beat in my opinion. Bring your own wine if you want any. I like that. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
It had been years since I previously ate there but not much changed. Solid family style Italian food served in large quantities.

Octavius S.

Yelp
Overpriced , and small portions . Mediocre food . Trust when I say you can make better at home for the fraction of the price .

Yelp
Food was fantastic. I had the special blackened grouper with mama Mia sauce it was excellent. The chicken mama Mia is a similar iteration to decor for the protein. The mama Mia sauce is very unique it's creamy, salty and hint of Leno so some tart. We had the bruscetta that was fantastic topped with balsamic and cheese. The dessert options were fantastic. They had so many good dessert options. We got the carrot cake and the butterfinger cheesecake was so so good. The service was fine only had one waitress for the place it's a home y looking location not huge and it's byob

Yelp
While the food here is quite good, I have to add some constructive criticism. I don't consider myself cheap when it comes to good food but, when you are asked if you want bread with your meal and a 3x6 slice of garlic bread comes out, which was tasty, they charge you $3.00 per slice. I also understand the corkage the fee for a BYOB, to an extent, but when they bring you wines glasses, hand you a corkscrew and don't even bother asking you if they can open your wine, that's kinda lame. One of the staff was dressed like a hoodlum with oversized jeans and white T-Shirt while sporting a knit cap. Sorry, but you guys need to up your game, not to mention the maybe 12 parking spaces for the place.

Brandon A.

Yelp
I guess Savelli's saw what Jaboni's charges for a pie and felt inspired to become the most expensive pizza in town. Raised price of a one topping pizza from $18 to $23 + credit card fee. Comes out to $27 with fee and tax included, no tip.. At least they hired more help so you don't feel ignored or unseen while waiting in the curtained gloryhole booth.

Colleen K.

Yelp
The food was okay. The standouts were the bruschetta and the grouper. The lady who waited on us , Amber?, was outstanding. She only work Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Amanda G.

Yelp
Always delicious! Savelli's is small but this just adds to the overall ambiance. The chain restaurants are a waste of time. Make a reservation here instead. It is 100% worth it!
google avatar

Christian B.

Yelp
Food is fine but prices are kind of crazy!! 13 dollars for a cannoli????? What in the world? Otherwise ambiance is very cute and traditional Italian restaurant. Nothing crazy and the service is fine if a little bit focused on regulars.

Yelp
Another local gem has been a Sutherland Avenue staple most of my life, as it has been around for over 30 years. This special place is called Savelli's. On almost any night you will find Mama Liz cheffing it up in the kitchen. I absolutely love her manicotti, almost anything you get with her meat sauce you are gonna love. I also love her Italian vinaigrette so make sure to get a salad too. Also don't forget about the pizza pies, because they are hard to beat. I could sit here and talk about all the delicious dishes but instead go down there and try it out. You won't be disappointed with this cozy, cute Mom & Pop restaurant. One more place added to my list of Knoxville's Best! Dine in or carry-out, so definitely go support your locally owned restaurants!

Yelp
The food was reheated in a microwave. My wives baked ziti was still frozen in the middle. It took our waitress quite a while for my wife to ask for her to reheat. So much so is that she lost her appetite. The place is a definite hole in wall but that's about it. I really wanted this place to be good but unfortunately it wasn't. For what you get and what you pay I would've liked a little better quality for what we ordered with respect to appetizers and entrees. More than likely won't be back.

Yelp
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted a good Italian place to eat at because it is one of our favorite cuisines. This restaurant came HIGHLY recommended and so we came. The positive: The staff was super friendly, both on the phone making the reservation and when seating us at our table. They even accommodated us arriving 20 min early for our reservation. This was a big plus for us at the onset. The negatives: 1) The Atmosphere: To start, the interior of the place seemed to need a bit of TLC. The ceiling was sagging in spots and curtains were everywhere sectioning off little alcoves for people to sit. The arrangement doesn't feel private but rather cramped. This seating adds to the exclusiveness you anticipate and the necessity of reservations. 2) The service: We were promptly greeted by a hostess/server and taken to our seats. Menus were distributed and we were given complimentary waters to drink and an encouragement to look over the menu. This person left and the next server came to our side and began talking through the menu with us answering our questions. I was immediately drawn to the fact that she wasn't dressed like the other server (black slacks & white button down). She was in a pair of short black shorts and a short sleeve black T-shirt. I still don't know if there is any significance, but it immediately took away from her professionalism in my eyes. I will say, at this point, she was helpful. That is where the helpfulness stopped. Shortly after placing our order we received our salads (not included with meal fyi), a couple got up from the table adjacent to us, the table was bussed, and a new pair sat down receiving the similar treatment we had been given. In roughly 5-7 minutes, their food came out from the kitchen and they began to eat. By this time, we were ready for our meals, another 3-5 minutes passed and our server exits the kitchen and immediately realizes we don't have our food. She looks puzzled and then heads back into the kitchen. 4-5 more minutes pass and our food is brought to the table. She tops off my drink and then heads off. I do not see her again for another 15+ minutes. When I was almost done with my meal, she comes by to "check on us" asking if we need anything. I request more water and she removes my water glass from the table and takes it to the kitchen for a refill. She didn't bring out a pitcher as the other servers did. I was puzzled but said nothing. After seeing we were done with our food, she took our plates and asked if we wanted desserts to which we declined. She brought the check and then left again. 2-3 more minutes pass before she returns. We could not wait to get out. 3) The Value: Due to the reservations, limited seating, and packed out house, we anticipated great food. What we got was bland, subpar Italianish food that did nothing for us. My wife ordered baked ziti (her favorite) $13.99 and I ordered their "special" seafood Alfredo. She did not like hers at all and it was covered in marinara seeming to mask the lack of flavors. She was severely disappointed. The Alfredo portion in the picture is what I received. The totality of the food on the bowl didn't cover the bottom of the bowl. I don't know how else to describe that. The portion size was abysmal. From the picture, you will be able to count no more than 6 total pieces of seafood in the entire dish. What's truly mind-blowing is that this dish was a whopping $29.99. It was listed as a special on the board coming in with no price associated. (This should have been my red flag) You find out when your ticket arrives just how much it is. Back to the food. The Alfredo tasted mediocre and the seafood was cold and without any flavor. It was crab, shrimp and something else and nothing had any real flavor. The sauce was underwhelming and the singular piece of shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. I anticipated about $15-18 and it was poor quality for that price. When I saw the $29.99, I felt like I had been fleeced and taken advantage of. I was so appalled, I didn't even want to bother complaining. I just wanted to leave. For reference, the total bill, pre tip, was $62.94. We ordered 2 entrees, 2 side salads, 2 pieces of garlic bread. We didn't buy appetizers nor desserts. No alcohol was purchased either. That is an absurd amount for what we received! Overall: This place lacks any of the things I want in a off the beaten path restaurant. The prices are grossly off based for the quality of food you receive. This experience won't be repeated by my wife and I because we won't be returning. What stinks is that we had been hyped up about how good it was going to be by so many people who have lived here for long periods of time. Truth be told, I wish I could give it a .5 or .75 star.

Yelp
Make reservations!! It was packed at 6pm. Standing room only with reservations. I wish they were serving their full menu. We didn't get to order what we really wanted, but it was still good. We had calamari to start, the marinara was great. Hubs had the meat sampler- said all 5 samples were good but he really only wanted the spinach lasagna. He said the eggplant Parmesan was his least favorite. I had the manicotti it was good but not great. The garlic bread was really good but I feel it should come with the meal not an additional charge. Overall- will go back but really hope they are serving the full menu. Or they need to update their website.

Martin G.

Yelp
Do NOT use this for large orders in taking out. They will bill you twice and place a hold on your card. While the food may be good sometimes, they aren't worth the very unprofessional conduct.

Yelp
Finally got to try this little gem. Just when I thought we had no quaint little Italian restaurants, Savelli's. I was pretty set on trying the pizza, and it was perfect, nice thin crust, crisp on the bottom without burning but still a little chewy. Tons of good cheese and pepperoni. My husband tried the sampler and loved it, friends had a scallop piccata over angel hair and his wife had chicken alfredo. All pastas were cooked to perfection and all paid extra for a slice of garlic bread to sop up all the flavorful sauces. We brought in one of our favorite reds and they supplied the glasses, for a modest $3.00 per. Definitely on our monthly rotation of dinner spots.
google avatar

Yelp
Really good place. Kinda small but they try to keeps folks separated. Service was a bit slow but they were pretty busy.... BYOB was a nice feature. Nice menu with some dandy specials. We had scallops piccata and chicken parmigiana. Bothe were respectable. Nice variety of desserts. The price for our adventure was $120 for two.... Without alcohol? Seems a bit rich but it was a lovely evening and we were able to make a few new friends.... We will circle back at some point... If you're in Knoxville and want a meal on the town; give 'em a shot!!

Yelp
First visit and have to say very mixed review. Made reservations for dinner on a weekday night. Immediately seated when we arrived. Space is small and we felt cramped with three people at a table for four. Drapes hung between tables to give sense of privacy but feels like a lot of tables crammed into space. Restaurant was empty but we were sat next to a loud big family with yelling kids. Not their fault the family was a bit uncontrolled but maybe give people a little space if tables open. A few minutes later waitress and over and demanded our order. No hello. No any questions. No offers or suggestions. Cut her some slack as assumed like everyone they are short staffed. When we asked about a few options she answered our questions but other than dropping the food didn't check on us. Started with garlic bread (yummy) and salad. We had lasagna (solid choice), eggplant parmesan (good flavor but over breaded), and chicken piccata (dried out strips of chicken) which fell flat. Nice menu selection but taste feel short. BYOB was made clear before arrival. They do charge a small fee but does mean you have exactly what you want. Nothing overwhelmingly good or bad so giving three stars but think we will keep looking for our Italian option in Knox.

H D.

Yelp
We visited Savelli's for the first time and we had high hopes, but boy were we disappointed. It's very small and you are sitting on top of the next table. The service was excellent our waitress was very attentive and nice. We both ordered lasagna and this is what it looked like. It was sauce. Lots of sauce. I had 4 noodles and sausages (a lot of those) & some beef. It was HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrible. The garlic bread was bland and had no taste. No salad. One piece of bread that was not good and this is supposed to be lasagna. It was not 18.99$ per a person! Parking is minimal. We will not go back.

Yelp
Savelli's is where my now husband took me on our first date, so to me it will always be one of my favorites! Honestly, anything you get on the menu will satisfy you. Not pictures, we always get their garlic bread with marinara sauce. I have to say the blackened sea bass is a new favorite of mine. The sauce is to die for! My husband loves the veggie sampler. We also love their cheesecake! One of my favorite family-owned restaurants. Also to add, Momma Savelli is still the main chef, and she always pleases! This place is always busy, so make sure to call ahead for seating. This is also a bring your own wine place, so don't forget to bring a drink!

Melanie D.

Yelp
Food was averaged at best, Found a hair in our cheesecake. Didn't complain because we felt bad for them.

Yelp
Service was great. The place was really small but looked like Christmas time. Mind you, Christmas in March... the food was okay, I had the "fresh" lobster pasta (the lobster was fresh before it was frozen I guess) it needed salt badly and for taking that long I don't know how it didn't taste amazing. DO NOT GET SEAFOOD HERE!!!!!!!

Jacki I.

Yelp
Food is great for this small and sometimes crowded restaurant. Quite authentic. I recommend.

Yelp
Our first time here, and it left a very good impression. It's a quaint, cozy little place. Great for a romantic date. Be forewarned: NO ALCOHOL is served. However, you can bring your own to the restaurant. We started with the Bruschetta, which is done a bit differently, as the cheese is melted over the tomatoes and basil.. Also, it's served with a side of tomato sauce. It was very tasty. The menu is extensive. I had one of the daily specials (and there are many of them), the gnocchi with crab meat pesto. The pesto was delicious and the gnocchi were cooked perfectly. The portion was the right size too. I didn't really see or taste much crab though. Garlic bread is offered complimentary, and I really liked it. Soft on the top and toasted on the bottom. There was an equally extensive dessert menu. I tried the limoncello marscapone cake. It was delicious. Not too sweet and not too lemony. Our server was great. She provided frequent and attentive service. Along with the other server in the dining room, we were well taken care of. I look forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.

Yelp
This was my third time eating at Savelli's, and it doesn't disappoint. I honestly don't understand some of the negative reviews! We got in just as the place opened, and were greeted and seated immediately. The owner, Liz, was gracious and welcoming. Her server was late due to a car breakdown, so Liz hosted, served, (and cooked?). My husband had the sea bass, which he said was outstanding. The portion was quite sizable, too. I had the wild mushroom ravioli, and there was no problem changing the marinara sauce to Alfredo. It was delicious, and I actually finished my meal, which is unusual for me. We also had the bruschetta-- amazing-- and finished with a crème brûlée. The place is very small, but I'd say intimate, not crowded. They also have a really good soundtrack, appropriate to the venue. I highly recommend.

Yelp
This wonderful Italian restaurant is in a tiny little white building like a house and it is so cute inside. You walk in and are hit with the wonderful aroma of garlic and spices cooking. Yum! We got take out of lasagna, spaghetti and meat sauce, grilled chicken alfredo and mushroom ravioli. Our favorites were the Chicken Alfredo and the mushroom Ravioli!!! It can be tricky getting in and out of their parking lot on a busy road so just be aware of that when choosing your parking spot. They had a good crowd there the night we went.

Yelp
My wife and I went to Savelli's in Knoxville for our anniversary meal on a December 2022 Friday evening. We are glad we made reservations as that the place was completely packed. We were seated in the "love room," a broom closet-sized cubby hole next to an outside wall of the restaurant. It was cozy, a bit cramped if one has large feet or is a very large man, and can fit no more than two. For our dinners, my wife and I shared a Greek salad and then each of us got an Italian sampler platter, mine with meat, hers vegetarian ($21 each). Bread cost extra (a little over $1 per piece of garlic bread. We brought our own bottle of wine ($3 set up charge per person), and topped off our meal with a slice of tiramisu for dessert ($13). Paying with a debit card incurred an additional 3% charge (of which we were uninformed, otherwise I would have offered cash). Prices were not printed in the menus, due we were told to rapidly varying post-Covid supply costs. Total cost for our meal was $81. We left a 20% tip. Food quality was okay, but nothing to write home about. Quantities were less than we expected for $21 pasta dishes. We are not obese nor gluttons--just surprised that we given such modest servings. Our server was friendly and our food arrived with about the same amount of delay one might expect on a busy Friday evening. It was adequately warm, not piping hot, but then these were pasta dishes being dished up out of larger warming trays we'd expect. Will we return? Well, considering we brought our own wine and paid nearly $100 for an okay meal, probably not. Maybe the reduced prices of their lunch menu would more adequately reflect the quality of the food. So on price and quality, we think Savelli's rates 3 stars, but does not from our experience deserve more.

Yelp
If you want good Italian food, go somewhere else. I had a side salad, baked ziti, and a piece of garlic bread & unfortunately none of it was good. The dressing was definitely made in house. Our waitress was very slow, but there was another waitress that seemed on it. It's a small place but looks like it's been put together like puzzle pieces.

Yelp
Deliciously flavored food, terrific service, courteous staff. Highly recommend for Italian

Yelp
Great food Ambience is a little quirky with the xmas lights If the tall blonde chick is working, plan on service being at a snails place. Took 20 mins just to take our order and we were the only ones there.

Yelp
Every time is as good as the first time. Went for V-day with MR. P & Kat waited on us...she's my fav. Had my regular (why mess with perfection?) Brought some wine, as usual (byob) Kat had whipped up something new for dessert...a pumpkin cheesecake that was out of this world! Took a cannoli home for the little P. Yummo.

Yelp
By far the best restaurant in Knoxville. Seafood specials are always excellent quality. Friendly service. You get to bring your own bottle of wine. What more could you ask for?!! (I have never had their steak, but people rave about it

Yelp
The food is excellent as well as the service and the space is cozy and welcoming. A great local Italian Restaurant that we continue to patronize for special occasions.

Yelp
We intended to have dinner here tonight but upon entering, the hostess/waitress did not have a mask on. When I asked her if the waitstaff would be wearing a mask she said "off and on, but they aren't required". FYI - They are required!!! Never going back to an establishment that cares so little about their customers during a PANDEMIC!!! I am well versed in the rules, I'm in health care and in close contact with the health department.

Yelp
Was disappointed with the service. The service was very, very slow. My partners meal was luke warm. The garlic bread was disappointing, only 4 slices for $4.00. Also disappointed in the fried ravioli. Portions were generous. I had heard so many great things but will not be returning.

Yelp
Returned to Savellis last nite with good friends probably for the last time-I truly hesitated to post as the food & service are very good at this place HOWEVER the pricing has become astronomical-three (3) small scallops with maybe 4 ounce portion of luingine for $44.95 slice of garlic bread added for 1.00 simply is too pricey for me although it was very good- a couple slices of egg plant parm with the same little portion of spaghetti for $32.95 although tasty won't bring me back either-best of luck Savellis's I will miss y'all & your curtains

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner at Savelli's on August 8th and it was great! I ordered the Chilean Blackened Sea Bass over risotto with broccoli, which was excellent. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked resulting in a wonderful dining experience. Add to this a great staff interaction and you have a wonderful night. I topped the meal off with a Crème Brûlée that was a generous size and very tasty. Overall, an excellent dinner. I definitely will be going back soon.

Yelp
This place has some of the best Italian food I've ever had. It's a small restaurant but very cute and intimate, perfect for a date night with your significant other. They also allow you to bring your own wine! I will be coming back.....often!

Yelp
Very small restaurant and seating is tight. Walked in and got seated quickly. Menu was priceless, and everything said Market price, so you have no idea what the cost will be at the end. Food was just ok, our party of 3 each got something different. It did take a while for us to get drink refills from our server. I will not be going back. I prefer the food, service, and environment much better at Altruda's in West knoxville.

Yelp
What a prime spot for a date night and great food. Just ate a delicious meal with my wife and I have no regrets. If you go make sure to get a reservation because they fill up fast. For an extra bonus call ahead a few days or even a week and reserve the "Love Room" in the back. This private little room is made for two and has a privacy curtain that separates you from the rest of the restaurant. Very romantic and makes the date even better. We started with a shrimp pesto appetizer that was fresh and hot. A must run for anyone. The main courses consisted of Salmon Florentine and Shrimp Alfredo. Both meals were amazing, fresh, made to order, and enough to fill us up. The server was so kind and even asked if she could take a picture of us as we celebrated. This is a highly recommended Italian food restaurant that is surely not to be missed.
