Savi Provisions is exactly what a neighborhood store should be. The setup is split into two sides: one for beer, wine, snacks, food, and treats, and the other for liquor - which seems to follow a city requirement, but it’s clearly well thought out and easy to navigate. The selection is solid, and we regularly stop in for snacks, popsicles, dessert, wine, lemonade soda, and other little treats. What really makes this place special is the staff. They seem closely connected, and every visit feels genuinely familial. One employee in particular always asks about my family, checks in on my son when he’s with me, and gives him a pound, small moments that make a big impression. On top of that, they open their doors to employ people who may just need a little extra money, offering small tasks and opportunities that feel seem humanitarian. It’s a quaint, welcoming spot that feels rooted in community and yes, they always stay stocked with Cutwater, both individual cans and cases, which is a win lol. Oh and if you need a receipt, just ask.

I would say it’s been a minute since I experienced racism in Atlanta but this store is a reminder that I live in the south. Left the office to get something to drink and the young lady at the register refuses to give me a bag, didn’t want to print a receipt and barely wanted to answer questions when I walked in. You dislike a stranger so bad that you will carry your business like this? Yea I recommend no one spends their money here.

Clean and well-organized store with a good variety of items. Sam at the front desk is very helpful and always helps me find things faster. Friendly staff and a good overall experience. Thanks !!

I’ve never experienced racism in the CITY OF Decatur like I did today. I came to SAAVI PROVISION at 180 W Ponce de Leon Ave Unit A Decatur, GA 30030 just to see what brands of mezcal they carry. When I walked into the store I wasn’t greeted, cool, but as I proceeded to look for the tequila section I felt like I was being followed. I ignored it. Went to the other side of the store to look at the South African wines when an employee walks up to me and said I need to leave the store because I went through the connecting door to the SAME STORE!!!! I didn’t have anything in my hands for them to believe I took anything. Then when I asked they didn’t give me answer and told me to leave. While walking out the door I decided to take pics. They telling me I have to go or they would call the police and they did!! I laughed and left cause Only cause I’m going out for town this weekend and didn’t want to mess up my plans but I bet they haven’t heard the last of me.

Disappointing experience! Be mindful of product expiration dates, as many items seemed to be past their sell-by date. Also, I felt uncomfortable with the behavior of the young man with specs at the counter. His interactions felt unprofessional and inappropriate, especially towards female customers, too personal. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable.

update: My experiences at the register have been better the last several months. Still not offered a receipt or much friendliness/transparency, but the totals have been correct and there have been some pleasant greetings. Thanks! Watch prices closely at the register. This place is so convenient to me, I wish it was a more pleasant and trustworthy experience. I hardly ever write negative reviews, but about half the time I've shopped here, items have been wrung up as $1 more than the posted price. They never offer a receipt, but I am usually buying just a few things and the price seems higher than what I expected, so I say something like, "oh, did that item wring up as $11.99?" EACH time, the cashier says nothing, then goes and checks the prices posted on the floor, then re-rings the sale at the corrected price, without apologizing or talking to me at all- very odd. One time the cashier did say the refund will take a few days to post to my credit card. This last time, I said, "you know, this happens here a lot." And the cashier said, "oh, well, it's just because we changed the prices." ?? The markup is already pretty high, especially on non-alcohol items, so I wish I didn't have to leave the store wondering whether deception is a part of their business model. Customer service does not appear to be a part of it. (In the liquor section (different entrance and cashier) I have not had this experience- prices wrung up as expected and I was greeted/interacted with.)

I’m a regular here, and there’s a reason I’m always coming back. Great beer selection with a class act/friendly staff. You’ll feel welcome. Will continue to come here often.

Have to say I am surprise at the incompetency of this store. I have been a member of Uber Eats for years and have never had anyone take the terms "replace with similar item" so poorly!!! I ordered Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka....key being vanilla. If Smirnoff is not available, you would think they would either....1, ask like normal what I would like or 2, if they are busy and don't ask then another brand of VANILLA would be chosen but instead they picked PINEAPPLE!!!! I called prior to the delivery guy picking up the order and advised that I needed vanilla, not pineapple, and they couldn't assist me, and Smirnoff wasn't available. Instead of offering a different brand of VANILLA vodka, they did not offer any more options except different Smirnoff flavors, and at this point, I was over the conversation. To say I am disappointed in their lack of communication but more so the blatant disregard of the order I would never have ordered nor will I ever again!!!!

Great spot to pick up items. I like their craft beer and wine selection. There's definitely a lot of great local beers I saw in here. The guy with the glasses was really welcoming and friendly. He told me when to look out for new beers that arrive. For parking there's a private lot in the back of the store. I would definitely visit again.

This is place is really unprofessional and very neglectful. I bought an item and was a different price. When confronted about the problem they consulted in a different language. Not helpful. Not professional.

Horrible experience in this store. After their items were incorrectly priced and I asked to speak with the "manager" , this man came out of his office extremely rude yelling at me and etc. He followed me around the store as I shopped, antagonizing me. When I let him know I'd be speaking with the owner he lied and said that he was the owner and threatened me with calling the police. Again this is because their prices were wrong. For more than one item. The worst experience ever. If you can shop elsewhere do so.
