Tried this place out today for a brunch with my auntie. I'm visiting from NYC so I definitely had to check out the brunch scene here. Ambience is chill and trendy. We were greeted by the very friendly hostess and brought to our table. Menu has the typical brunch stuff, pancakes, French toast, eggs, a burger with an egg on it of course but there were a few dishes that you don't see too often like the crab cake Benedict, and biscuits with sausage gravy. I wish I could have tried everything! Prices were good, on the affordable side for brunch, or maybe I'm just so used to NYC lol
We both got the same meal, the steak and eggs and a pancake on the side. Food was superb! Steak was seasoned well, juicy and cooked medium how I wanted it which is sometimes hard to do with tips. The eggs were also cooked how I asked, fried medium with a nice semi-runny yolk. It also comes with homefries with peppers and onions which was tasty. The pancakes were great too. I got blueberry and my aunt got classic, and they were big, fluffy and definitely filling. I was recovering from drinks the night before and decided to just stick to water so I can't review the drinks but they looked good on other ppls tables.
Service was ok, we had Angelica who was a bit MIA. We found ourselves looking around waiting for her several times and other servers ended up fulfilling our needs as they saw us waiting. I won't take off a star for that because everyone has their off days and the food was so good it made up for it. I'll definitely be coming back here again to try out the dinner menu and the drinks.
