I had a great experience here! The restaurant offers a really good variety of food, so there’s something for everyone. If you’re planning to order wings, I highly recommend trying the Memphis dry rub — they were incredibly tasty and perfectly seasoned. The location couldn’t be better, right in downtown old St. Charles, which adds to the charm of the visit. Service was friendly and efficient, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touch in the bathroom — they even provide extra last-minute supplemental toiletries! Overall, a wonderful spot that I’d definitely come back to.

A little disappointed in our first experience here. They brought the wrong drink to start with. My husband ordered a coffee with kalua...not difficult. They brought coffee with maybe whiskey. They corrected it and apologized. We got the Brussels for an appetizer. They were drenched in oil from the deep fryer. I got the scallops over the plantains. The scallops weren't fresh snd were fishy. The ancho chili sauce on tip paired well with the plantains but clashed with the scallops. Missed the mark. Now if they made a version of potatoes bravas with plantains and that sauce, it would be a hit. The scallops...not so much. Finally, we got the pot roast flatbread. The flatbread needed to be cooked a few more minutes (at least) and wasn't crispy. Lots of melty cheese on top, but it really lacked flavor. It needed some fresh herbs on top like thyme and rosemary or maybe some carmelized onions. Overall, with all 3 dishes missing the mark, we'd go somewhere else next time or revisit some favorites. The service was just okay. Our waitress was friendly but just seemed to be going through the motions.

We went here with a large party and there were a few other larger parties too in the small restaurant however the service was on point. The serving staff was very nice and they got all the orders correct. The food was just ok. The portions of seemed small and my eggs Benedict was more over medium than poached. My other complaint was that there was nothing blocking the cold air as people came in from the street. I froze the entire meal. It is a very small restaurant and I'm not sure if there's any solution to this however if you plan on going during the winter months, be prepared to eat in a very chilly atmosphere.

My friend & I will 100% be visiting again! We got the hot honey flatbread, buffalo chicken flatbread, & truffle fries. Every single this was too tier. The hot honey flatbread was our #1 favorite thing and will have us coming back time and time again.

Google
Food was good, really enjoyed the Brussels sprouts, I wasn’t impressed with the server. My coffee was never refilled and I made a reservation and no one asked. It also wasn’t busy at all minus one larger table.

Google
The place was cute, very nice atmosphere. The menu looked really nice as well. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try the food. My sister was told that she needed a reservation for us to eat there, so she made one for 1:15pm. We arrived on time and immediately my sister was met with exasperation when she told the lady that we had a reservation. After we were seated we weren't offered water or anything. After being ignored for 15 minutes, despite the fact that the place wasn't packed and a server was available, we decided to leave. If the blonde lady behind the bar had the tact to be petty in private we would have just chalked it up to the staff being busy. 15 minutes isn't very long, but it's for sure a long time to wait when you know you're being intentionally ignored. Blondie decided it was smart and professional to tell her coworkers "They just made their reservation. They can wait." Thankfully for us she told her coworkers not to serve us directly in our line of site, so we were able to take our 100% Xmas Eve tip to Bike Stop instead. So basically: my sister was told to make a reservation, she made a reservation, we showed up on time and were seated, this somehow personally offended the lady behind the bar which caused her to act in a way that was unprofessional and petty.

We sat on the patio for a beautiful lunch. Jake was a great, personable and professional server. The Tuna Poke Salad was spot on. Their bloody’s and brussel sprouts were delicious.

Yelp
After spending hours at Oktoberfest, we came up to Main Street to have dinner here because we read how great the food is from our Yelp friends. I called ahead to get directions and the hostess graciously offered to hold a table for us and it was ready when we got there. This is definitely more of a bar vibe than a restaurant vibe, and it was pretty loud because there was a very large party there so we weren't sure what to expect a quick peek into the tiny kitchen across from the restroom made me even more curious to see what dinner would be like. Well, rest assured the kitchen is skilled and the food was delicious. My maple bourbon pork chop was super tender and juicy, and the asparagus had a nice chargrilled flavor. Not pictured was my Caesar salad, which I would give a solid 7 out of 10. I would give the pork chop a 10 out of 10 my friend ordered the boneless chicken wings with buffalo sauce and she enjoyed them very much. I also ordered a butterfly pea with tea lemonade and it was pretty and delicious. Service was friendly and fast and we get a real neighborhood vibe from this place. We will be back.

Yelp
The food was very good. Enjoyed the appetizers. Our server, Theresa, was pleasant & attentive. The ambiance is friendly and I would happily make another trip to Savor.

Yelp
I should have three pictures.....problem is, I got the savory slinger and I demolished it before I could get a picture! Let me tell you guys, this place is great. Food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. My wife's bacon slices looked like they had just butchered, cured, and cooked the pig out back . Eggs were cooked perfectly and again,.....the flavor. WOW. Service was exceptional. Two sweet ladies helped us place our orders and served drinks. It was a refreshingly positive interaction compared to some you get in the city. They were always close by and super helpful. Ambiance was pretty cool. It has the beautiful bar, but also has a slight diner feel with the food and service. Honestly it was super comfy and fun to eat at. I will definitely be back! 100% recommend coming here!!!!!

Yelp
I have seen several ads for this restaurant and never thought to give it a try until we were out this way this weekend and it came up on my Yelp. Upon entering, it was extremely crowded and I almost turned around because I didn't think we wouldn't get served as fast, but we got seated right away luckily at the last table that was available and to my surprise, the service was actually pretty fast. We ordered a few drinks and they were also going around giving out free shot samples so that was fine as well. Two of us opted for the burgers which were great and the fries were automatic five stars. The fries were so good that we ordered a second round to share. The pepperoni flatbread was very good as well with a nice kick to it. Our waiter was amazing and I have no complaints about my visit. Would love to go back and visit for brunch.

Yelp
We had a great lunch here! Staff was very friendly and food was great! We came during happy hour (on a Saturday) They have two dollar off appetizers and two dollar off some beers. We got the brussel sprouts for an appetizer- 1000/10 Cobb salad & flatbread were pretty good!

Yelp
I wanted to stop here to check this restaurant out , so I decided to get drinks and an dessert. Street parking available on first come first serve. Staff very friendly upon walking in . Got seated quickly. Looking around bar type feel with cute decorations and tv posted on wall with the latest sports playing. Restroom clean and what I loved the most is all bathroom needs were available from room sprays , lotions, toothpicks etc. Great idea for women needs , owner must be a female (ha) Richard H. was our server. Very engaging and helpful in my ordering needs. Great smile and available if I needed him. I ordered The Jodi and my friend ordered an Angry Orchard. The Jodi was a great fruity strong choice. I will be back for that drink alone ! The seasonal dessert was a turtle cheesecake absolutely freaking delicious. Hopefully when I return back that is available as well. Building clean and well lit. No complaints. Kudos to management I will definitely be back for the brunch next!

Yelp
Savor St. Charles is a restaurant located in St. Charles, upon entering I was promptly greeted and seated myself and the waiter came over quickly to offer water and menus and gave me a minute to look over the menu, it didn't take long for me to order appetizers of honey hot wings and fried green tomatoes and both did not disappoint. I ordered a summer salad with fresh strawberries, cranberries, blue cheese crumbles and walnuts the presentation alone let me know that it was going to be a great salad and it was. The ambiance is that of typical bar and grill, spacious, and clean, I can definitely see myself going back to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
Spent a freezing cold Thursday night checking out savor and were not disappointed! Such a cute place inside. We took a peek outside at the patio and will definitely be back to check it off it when it's warmer! Our server was great! So friendly. The foot was so good! Very reasonable prices and apps are $2 off during happy hour. It was a nice cozy place! I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
My friend and I sauntered over here after a ride on the Katy. Our appetites were ravenous at this stage. There were no bike racks outside the restaurant so we placed our bikes against a post outside the restaurant where we could see our bikes. When we met up with the hostess, she advised that they would close to the public for an private party (80th birthday party) so if we still wanted to dine there we could but that we'd only have 45 minutes. My friend and I decided we could make it happen so we ordered our drinks (he had a beer and I had the Stone Water Gimlet) and food (Jazzed Wings and Truffle Fries). I am not a huge gin fan and have been giving gin a good chance the past year but let me tell you, that Stone Water Gimlet was the best gin cocktail I've had in my life. I thought I was done with the compliments until the Truffle Fries and Jazzed Wings came out. The wings were fried crispy and the seasoning was on point but the winner of the eats were the Truffle Fries. OMG everything about it was heavenly. It was so good that my friend and I could not stop talking about it after we left and even made similar truffle fries with each other to try to replicate it at home. We still had time for another drink so I ordered a Cosmopolitan that did not disappoint either. This place truly lives up to their name and I will be back one day when there's not a party going on so I can really marinate on those wonderful dishes!

Yelp
Nestled on the charming cobblestones of Historic Saint Charles, Savor is an exciting addition to the Main Street dining scene. The mozzarella cheese sticks were not only delicious but came with some cheese pulls - the kind that brings a bit of fun to the table. Next, we dove into the crawfish ravioli, which was rich and creative, offering a seafood experience that stands out in the area. The shrimp were also exceptional #StLouisPescatarianApproved

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch on a recent visit to Main Street. The main restaurant and bar looked very nice. It was a beautiful day so we asked to sit on the patio. The patio is a deck up a few steps out back. It honestly can use some work cleaning up the crates and boxes laying around, maybe some paint on the back of the building, etc. Could be a lot nicer. The food however was great. We had flatbreads which were really good with a crispy crust and nice amount of tasty toppings. Service was great also. Deanna did a great job and was very friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience and we will be back!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, good food, love downtown St. Charles. Plates are a little small for me but tasty.

Yelp
A great bartender who makes wonderful drinks. Great bloody Marys. Great margarita The food is always good.

Yelp
Friendly, fast service at lunch in a casual restaurant/bar. Food was wonderful and I'll bet it's a fun place in the evening.
google avatar

Rena G.

Yelp
This has a healthy menu with gluten free options. It has a high class type atmosphere which was fine but not my style! I went for a business lunch and it was nice. The service was fine, nothing memorable.
google avatar

Haley M.

Yelp
Cozy, clean bar vibe. Plenty of menu options. Staff tried their best. No champagne available for mimosas, they had run out already. Waited over an hour for food. Biscuits and gravy were so sad. I actually thought they were English muffins when it first came out. The gravy was literally brown with pepper, I couldn't eat it with it being that peppery.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Wasn't sure what to expect since everything I've heard about this place was that it was more upscale, we went around 12.30 on a Saturday and there was someone in there with pajama pants on so it's not that upscale. They have a varied menu and offer a full bar and for the warmer times a patio area. Ordered a cheeseburger with bacon medium well and it was medium at best with no bacon, finally got the bacon. It was on but nothing special.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
It's fine, nothing special. There are plenty of other options on the street that are better in terms of food service and ambience.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. The grilled chicken sandwich was really good with tasty fries included. The bartender was a little grumpy but served us pretty well, keeping our drinks filled up. Prices seemed fair and the atmosphere/building was really cool

Yelp
We met friends here for dinner and enjoyed our evening. We started with some cocktails -- hubby had the house old fashioned ($8) and I had a Paper Plane ($12). Both were well made. We tried the Hot Honey flatbread as an appetizer and it was flavorful, but definitely has a kick, so make sure you're good with that! I had the mushroom ravioli and really enjoyed it. It had tons of flavor and was not a heavy pasta dish, but filling all the same. Loved the sun dried tomatoes with it. Hubby had the country fried meatballs and thought they were really good. The rest of the table sampled the burgers and grilled cheese and everyone was happy with their choices. They had live music playing and we all commented that it was a nice backdrop and not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. We were all pleased that we stumbled upon this place and will return.

Bill M.

Yelp
We had the cheese burger and strawberry salad and both were delicious. I'm a fan of the best burger joints. Savor is among the best. Service was prompt and friendly. Jake was very helpful with the menu selection The building has a old fashioned bar and grill vibe Putting out good food here.

Yelp
Love it!! I walk by at least a couple times a week and finally went in to grab a glass of wine with a friend during happy hour. Those garlic truffle fries are absolutely amazing. And talk about a generous pour, even my friend commented. Will definitely be returning...actually I already did, a few days later
google avatar

Yelp
We came here with a Deadpool happy hour and we were shocked the food was great! I had the adult grilled cheese. What is that you ask? A grilled cheese with 3 cheeses, a jalapeño and bacon. They also have a good beer selection and even have a small bourbon offering. Small inside so it looks like it could get crowded pretty easily, but it wasn't while we were there, even with the 30+ people from the Deadpool. I think I found a new hangout for lunch.

Linda H.

Yelp
Amazing food & service Definitely get the truffle fries & also the bruschetta shrimp

Kate L.

Yelp
It was a good spot for a busy night in st Charles, food was delicious. Small place so you have to make reservations prior to but definitely worth the planning!

Yelp
Savor is located on Main Street St. Charles. Street parking is available and there's some public lots a few blocks away. For anyone, physically challenged, please note there is a small step into the restaurant. The restaurant is smaller with a cozy feel. The lighting is just right. The music can be a little loud for older folks at night. Service was really good. We were fortunate to have Serena and she was great! All of the staff seem to really be hustling, and friendly. They seem to have a decent selection of adult beverages. Their choice of appetizers looked amazing, including maple roasted Brussel sprouts and truffle fries. You could truly make a meal out of the appetizers. They have a selection of burgers/sandwiches, flatbread, soup, salad, and just a few entrées. I ordered the house salad, which was adequate with mixed greens, some chopped cucumber, and house-made croutons. I ordered the southwest chicken flatbread and it was pretty good. I'll give it 8/10. The presentation was very nice.

Yelp
Date of event October 17, 2025Rehearsal Dinner Reviewer: (Mother of the Groom) Rating: 1/5 - Unacceptable Execution and Unprofessional Follow-Up I am compelled to share this detailed, factual account of our disastrous experience hosting our son's rehearsal dinner - a milestone family celebration. Despite clear verbal agreements, a $100 deposit, and a prepaid $595 drink package for 35 guests, the restaurant failed on nearly every commitment. What followed was not only a chaotic event but a dismissive, evasive response from owner Marsha Timme that refused accountability and offered no meaningful restitution. 1 Failure to Provide Exclusive UseWe explicitly booked the entire restaurant from 7:00-9:00 PM. Upon arrival at 7:00 PM, the venue was still full of public diners. Additional walk-ins were seated after our event start time. Patrons lingered until 8:15 PM, forcing our party into a cramped corner while staff served unrelated tables. This was not a "partial closure" misunderstanding--it was a complete breach of contract. 2 Owner Absence and Staff AbandonmentMs. Timme was nowhere to be found at 5:30 PM for scheduled drop-off and setup discussion, nor at 7:00 PM for event start. Staff were visibly unprepared, lacked a designated coordinator, and were stretched thin serving public guests. When technical issues arose with our slideshow (promised to work via flash drive), we were forced to call the owner remotely--she instructed staff to use her personal computer. Our guests had to figure it out 3 Ambiance SabotageDespite requests for soft orchestral music, loud background tracks blared throughout. Two direct requests to lower or change the music were ignored. Tables were jammed into a corner not the open mingling we had discussed. 4 Drink Package Mismanagement and Billing Fraud Bar menus were placed on tables Drinks were delivered to wrong guests; two remained unclaimed. The $100 deposit was not applied to the final bill. An undisclosed "group charge" ($236.86) A staff member tried to refuse my personal check (pre-approved by Ms. Timme) again she was not onsite to assist 5 Technical IncompetenceStaff were untrained. Reflections from other active TVs obscured images, and audio was inaudible. This was a key emotional moment for the couple--ruined Egregious Lack of Follow-Up * Zero communication for 10 days post-event. * Ms. Timme later claimed she "waits 10-14 days" before contacting clients--a policy never disclosed and wildly inappropriate for a botched $2,000+ event. * When finally reached, her response was a lengthy deflection blaming: A "new reservation system" (irrelevant to on-site failures) Our failure to "test the slideshow" (despite her not being present to assist) and the bar full of people we were not wanting to share those images with. Her need for "personal balance" after 14-hour days (unacceptable for a booked private event) She refused any refund beyond the $100 deposit, claiming food/alcohol was "consumed." This ignores that service was not delivered as contracted. A $100 gift card and "complimentary dinner" offer is insulting for a ruined once-in-a-lifetime event. We requested: * refund of ($100 deposit + drink package + $236.86 group fee) * Written apologies to the couple and to staff (who were left unsupported) Ms. Timme ignored these reasonable requests. Her email was a masterclass in gaslighting and deflection, not remorse. Recommendation: AVOID THIS VENUE FOR EVENTS Savor is not equipped for private functions. The owner prioritizes public revenue over booked commitments, abandons her team, and hides behind excuses when confronted. For a family-owned business to treat another family this way--especially for a rehearsal dinner--is unconscionable. Savor ruined a sacred family memory. Do not let them ruin yours. Andrea K

Yelp
Service, food, and atmosphere were wonderful! Brussel sprouts, and pork chop were excellent! Cocktails great too! Will definitely come back!

Yelp
Super cute place and great food. Stopped in with some girlfriends and had a few drinks. The service was great and the food/drinks were prompt. We got the bruschetta, truffle fries and Brussels for appetizers and they were all wonderful- highly recommend the truffle fries and Brussel sprouts. For entree we had the chicken with rice and mango salsa and it was great. The portions were a good size and the prices were fair. Great American spot on Main Street!

Yelp
I really enjoyed it here! I love the ambiance of the restaurant, the staff were great and the restaurant is clean. I had the margarita chicken platter and really enjoyed it! We also got the lasagna bites which were super good too. I loved the cute little shelf in the bathroom too! I would come back and plan on it.

Yelp
Great spot to enjoy some live music with lots of food options. If you like brussel sprouts - definitely order their appetizer. Soooo good! Our 10 & 16 yr olds were with us and we all felt comfortable. I'd guess it feels more like a bar as the evening gets later but we were there until 10pm and it wasn't uncomfortable at all. The service was awesome. Drinks and food came out quickly! Our server was also really patient and answered all of our menu questions.

Yelp
Stopped in for a meal with a couple of friends. We all ordered The Jodi cocktail, which had Malibu, Captain Morgan, pineapple and orange juice. It was delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the country fried meatballs. It had mashed potatoes on the bottom topped with country fried meatballs, then corn and white pepper gravy over the top. It was very tasty. One of my friends ordered it as well and we both said we would definitely order it again. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. The restaurant was casual dining. It would be good just about for anything. Dates, family, gatherings, or just pop in for a quick appetizer. They did have some happy hour specials that was two dollars off I believe appetizers, beer, wine, and well drinks.

Jess N.

Yelp
We sat outside and it was absolutely amazing! The truffle fries were amazing! For being so busy, the service was still 10/10.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious! Chef Marcia has outdone herself. Our family was starving after 2 hours of hockey so we started with carbs: chili cheese tots and cheese sticks. I will have dreams of Marcia's chili. It was perfect. Somehow my sons still had room and devoured a cheeseburger (super juicy and tasty!) and some heavenly Mac n cheese. I, conscious of the carbs chose a Cobb salad and thought it was perfection.

Yelp
A friend and I tried this spot out for our girls night out. The staff was really nice and very fast. They explained that this place just opened and they were trying to get more people in. They have a good menu with options for everyone. We ordered a side a salad and an entree. I ordered the crawfish ravioli and was happy that it came out to be fresh made pasta ravioli. The dish itself was fairly small but the flavor was there.

Yelp
My family and I went on Mother's Day and we had a great experience. Our server, Kathy, Was fantastic and very attentive to our party of five. We had two chicken club sandwiches, a bacon cheeseburger, an order of Buffalo wings and one order of burnt ends. mac & cheese. All were fantastic, as worth the fried brussels sprouts for an appetizer. Highly recommend and we will go back.

Yelp
This is a somewhat new place on Main Street in a very old building. We stopped in for a weekday lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Good experience, our server was excellent, attentive and friendly. The menu is very basic bar fare. Nothing too crazy unless I missed something. I had the chicken sandwich, my wife ordered a flatbread appetizer for her lunch. The chicken was perfectly grilled, tender and flavorful without being Overly complex. I had a side Caesar salad to go with it, was planning an afternoon workout so I didn't want to go crazy with bread and fries. Good food, good-to-great service, reasonable prices. Will likely return, but it would be nice to see some more creativity.

S V.

Yelp
Really great service. Went there with my sisters and we had great food and great drinks. Definitely recommend and definitely plan to revisit!

Daniel C.

Yelp
The food was just OK! The atmosphere was underwhelming! The service was fine, however, when my check came they added a 2.76% to my bill because I was paying with a credit card ... WOW WTF!!! Buyer Beware ....

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks. Chili was great! The burnt ends and Mac and cheese was the best!

Yelp
Popped in to check this place out. Had a beer and a cup of potato soup. Now , I consider soup a food group. This soup did not disappoint. Definitely the chef knew how to add momma's homemade touch. After looking over the menu I cannot wait to go back and try some of the items. The appetizers looked amazing along with the sandwiches. Side note: the women's bathroom was top notch. It had everything you needed. I was able to floss and clean my ears.

David N.

Yelp
Good food, good vibe. I Like the place a lot. Was a busy weekend in St Charles, and we got lucky to grab the last table. Was very grateful we did after enjoy our meal.

Yelp
Came to grab a bite to eat on a very busy night where they had no open tables due to being fully booked on reservations. The hostess kindly sat us at the bar and it worked out great. Enjoyed the seasonal special of Ahi Tuna and the Brussel sprouts. It was delicious.
google avatar

Joslyn N.

Yelp
Customer service was on point. We sat outdoors. It wasn't too busy for a Monday. I ordered the bruschetta and brussel sprouts. The bruschetta has a balsamic glaze. It was good, but maybe a little too sweet for me, so I will stick with regular bruschetta that I know and love from now on. The brussel sprouts were fried and had maple and bacon (a must). They were nice and crispy. I can't wait to come back and try some more items on the menu!
google avatar

Megan E.

Yelp
We haven't had service like this in a long time! The service and staff at this establishment were outstanding. The owners and staff were so kind to us and our dog. We were so happy to stumble upon this restaurant. The food was also amazing! We got the brussel sprouts and loaded tots for an appetizer and were not disappointed.

Mickey C.

Yelp
Service was good and the food was okay. For me, although the atmosphere was nice the menu and food was bland.

Yelp
Great service and food. Best hamburger I have ever had. Great flavor, perfect size and perfectly cooked

Yelp
This is a relatively new restaurant on Main Street. The burgers were fresh and satisfying. The southwest salad (new to menu) was also very tasty! We look forward to returning to try some other tasty menu offerings!

Yelp
Great service and super friendly staff. The sweet potato tots were very good, and the burger had a wonderful crust without being overcooked. Cold beer, great food, and awesome staff.
