What a way to spend a Sunday ! I was just looking for something to eat and got that and more. Hey now ! Savoy's Sunday brunch had the fulfilling three: food, full bar and entertainment. DJ Kirk's sound drops throughout the show were OnPoint. Savoy offers bottomless mimosas and an eclectic cocktail menu. It was simply a fun time and bring the $ingles to tip the much deserved entertainment.

I simply love coming here. The service is wonderful the atmosphere is great. I really love the out door patio. My bartender Timi has always made me feel comfortable. I love bringing my friends down here!

I love coming to Savoy to do Michael's Thursday night trivia followed by karaoke with Vivica. Staff is great. Food is quick snack food. Drinks are good and plentiful. Good prices. Head over for a fun time. 😁

Great vibes, quite busy throughout the week too! Hot dancers, friendly staff and the drag queens put such effort in their craft. Bring in cash for tips!

Food = Cocktails 😉 Stopped in in Sunday - great vibe and in one bar they had karaoke. Timmy was an awesome bartender

One of the most over rated, condescending, pretentious, and unprofessional gay bar I've been to. The dancers are mediocre at best (they can barely dance) and they are not in very good shape. Same old playback premixed dj music and weak drinks. Talk about take the fun out of what's supposed to be a good time. I'd rather say drink at home alone to 1970's music than go there and that doesn't sound very fun, I hate 70's music and drinking alone, especially day drinking. That shows how gross this place is. Loosen your micromanaged rules, hire some decent entertainment and stop running a club with your panties in a bunch. Report Card. GPA 0.8 Entertainment F Cost. B- Staff. D Environment F Cleanliness. D Safety. F

Josh and the staff of Savoy did an amazing job helping me make my partner’s birthday unforgettable this year. The appetizers and setup were delicious and perfect for the occasion. I have been going to Savoy Orlando since 2006 or 2007 when my friends would gather there for karaoke with Dame Edna… I’ve always been able to rely on strong, reasonably priced cocktails, cute go-go boys, and entertaining events and talent to keep the night interesting! The drag shows are fierce, and there are bingo, trivia, burlesque and other fun events throughout the week.

Google
I ordered pulled pork and got chicken, which tasted like it came out of a of can, the salsa for the chips was cold and store bought, however the potato salad was half decent. I'll definitely come back for the karaoke but I'll make sure to eat somewhere else before.

Yelp
Looks are great, feels like a vibe at first. I was greeted by a nice friendly girl then realize she was there to push Kettle One. The bar was huge running the length of the establishment, but only had 4 chairs. We waited until finally we realized you had to go and order despite there being only about 10 others. GoGo Boys were a plus. I finally got a vodka drink. But I prefer friendly bartenders that care you are there.

Yelp
There are few options in the orlando gay community. Savoy is one of them. Since Parliament House and Pulse closed it is one of 2 options for a dance club. It has two rooms, an outside and a small show room/dance floor. The DJ seems to think that all rooms should be at the ear shattering volume of Burning Man. There should be an area to get away from the loud music level. It would improve the bar very much to have an option to just talk. I have heard many patrons complain about this issue.

Yelp
Visited on a Monday 8pm ! That put on the record ! Place was empty and boring ! Had a beer ! And went for another BAR !!!

Yelp
I never feel welcome at Savoy. It seems to attract the rudest, bitchy guys in Orlando. I really don't go very much anymore. Recently they started to charge a 10.00 cover. It is a rip-off. Stop charging a cover. So basically people are rude, the bartenders have an attitude, then the new cover charge. I am just not anymore.

Yelp
The staff and atmosphere are exceptional. This place has been a staple in the neighborhood gay bar scene in Orlando for as long as I've visited! Tanner and Shane are super! Lil Nicky was exceptional too! Food is better than expected!

Yelp
Literally the worst fucking bar I've ever been to, I'd rather go drink a bottle of wine by the dumpster than hang out at this dump. Bar tender was rude to my wife and said she should lay off the tequila sunrises and go for a more low carb option. I asked him why and he said cause she was "a fat pig" I told him to get me his manager and the owner came out, me and the owner had a conversation and he told me he didn't care and we should leave. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN DONT GO.

Paul S.

Yelp
Bar staff think they're something special. However, they are not. Took ages to get a drink.

Yelp
I want to give this place more stars, I really do. The issue is that it's frustrating as a patron to be mislead on the actual operating hours of this place. No one seems to know when it actually opens, including the folks that work here. We showed up at 3:40pm on a Saturday to find the doors locked even though their website and Facebook page indicate that they open at noon on Saturday's. We decided to enter Ivanhoe 1915 in the meantime and asked when Savoy opens to which the bartender questionably responded that he *thinks* Savoy opens at 4pm. We checked out the patio around 4:05pm for a short period of time. While we were there we pulled on the door leading into Savoy at 4:12pm to find it locked. We asked 2 bartenders on the patio what time we can expect Savoy to be open only to be greeted again by confused employees that appeared to be quite unsure of the actual opening time. They stated "2 or 3 more minutes it should be open". 10 minutes later we finally see patrons exiting Savoy indicating it must be open and we can finally enter. At the very least, update your operating hours online. It's 2022, most people are checking online to see if you're open. You have actually lost business as people in our party decided to go home when they found out you weren't open despite your own website stating that you were. Also, the hours on the front door leading into Savoy state "__pm - 2am". C'mon, at least add your hours to your front door. This is bad business practice. I definitely understand all the changes businesses have gone through due to the pandemic and staffing issues, etc. so it's understandable if the hours of operation have fluctuated but if the hours are going to differ occasionally then even a simple Facebook post indicating this could save some frustration. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is due to the awesome folks that work behind the bar inside on most nights when I visit. I do have to give credit that Savoy has gone through vast improvements over the last few years and it really has been brought back to life as a staple in the Orlando LGBT community. So thank you for what you've done over the years, now just keep the hours accurate.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Orlando. Locally owned, and great energy. At Savoy and adjacent pool bar you come as a customer and leave as a friend. Some of the nicest people, not pretentious or rude as with other gay bars. Though LGBT , it isn't rammed down ones throat and I've had several straight friends enjoy the space. In response to the previous COVID-19 comment - I have been there many times and this bar is over the top in this desire to prevent covid. You enter and exit thru different doors, temp checks, sanitized, and extremely clean bar area. Anyone who says it isn't prepped for covid is lying .

Yelp
Drugged here twice in the middle of the day. I they are known for this. I should have called the cops after a friend almost died.

S Z.

Yelp
Don't waste your time on happy hour, unless you're there to drink water. I went to both sides and received the same WEAK drinks. I now know that half price means less than half alcohol. Order water and save your money.

Kevin D.

Yelp
Love coming to Savoy but the older bartender charged me for an extra drink and luckily I caught it with a different bartender and had it removed. Then when I left the same older bartender charged my boyfriend $13 for one rum and coke. Haven't experienced this at any other bar and maybe was a one off occurrence. But definitely was fishy behavior. Overall it's a good gay bar with good music, drinks and entertainment. Also very clean! I will continue to be a patron.

Yelp
Very nice gay bar with great music and shows almost nightly and the selection of bar food is actually very decent. A must stop if you are visiting and looking for a fun gay bar.

Yelp
Nice place - has something for everyone with 4 separate areas. drink prices are great and the staff is amazing. The weekends are usually really busy - more nightclub like. The week days are more "neighborhood bar with chandeliers!". The restaurant also has great food. It's bar food and quick bites but super yummy. Definitely worth the stop.

Kassandra M.

Yelp
If I could give this bar 0 stars I would do just that ! But everyone working INCLUDING the manager had a nasty attitude and bad customer service. I felt very unwelcomed and had to leave IMMEDIATELY. Other bars next door are much better anyway .

Tracy G.

Yelp
Customer service was absolutely awful. They were unwelcoming and very disrespectful. They say they are a lgbtq+ bar but that was the worst experience I've ever had at any bar and I've got some crazy bar stories, but when the staff is this rude omg enough said!

Yelp
Great dive bar. I went on Tuesday night and it a bit empty but I had a wonderful time. Drinks were great. Definitely come check out.

Yelp
Savoy is a great bar for hanging out and talking, with your friends. The backbar outside is our favorite, with Shane bar tending. Shane mixes up great cocktails with local ingredients that he has hand picked.
google avatar

Yelp
Good looking spot. If you want to see the drag show though get there really early. Drinks were good service was great crowd, interesting. No dress code no cover so, positive experience all around.
google avatar

Marco S.

Yelp
Bartender was completely rude and offensive when we walked in. The only reason I'm not giving it a 1 star is because of its location and the fact that it looked fun. We ended up going to Stonewall and enjoying a few adult beverage there.....where the bartenders are friendly‍
google avatar

George W.

Yelp
Many of the older reviews mentioned smoking. Savoy is now smoke free except on the outdoor patio. They have a small pub grub menu and great happy hour specials. It's a bar I like to bring friends from out of town to show them the "real Orlando". Friendly staff.
google avatar

Jill C. J.

Yelp
Awful. Dark. Terrible art. It's this long dark cement-y hall with somebody's idea of art on the walls. Bartenders in underwear, one gyrating mildly--like he was thinking about something else--while old dudes sat around at the table. A wee bit rank smelling. To be fair, it wasnt a weekend so perhaps all dark bars are sad early in the evening on week nights? But I'd get a can of paint, some new art, and take the dark shades off of those windows.

George M.

Yelp
Omg. Way overpriced. So many options out there. Much better values for a drink. This place charged me $15 for a drink.
google avatar

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this bar is non smoking now. I stopped by for the Tuesday night comedy show. I opened the door expecting a cloud of smoke but it was clean and clear thank goodness. They do have a nice outdoor bar area for the smokers and since it was a chilly night I noticed they also have heaters out there. There was only one bartender for the indoor bar and at times she seemed a little stressed and moody but I got my drinks with a short wait. Two cocktails were a total of $15. The comedy show is free! I really enjoyed the show. It started just before 9pm and ended before 11pm. I'll be back for another comedy night.

Paul K.

Yelp
Savoy is an exceedingly friendly and well managed club. They host lots of events and have a showroom that's intimate and fun. And once the DJ starts spinning, the dance floor really comes alive! It's by far the best LGBTQ club in the Orlando area.
google avatar

Yelp
Unfortunately Savoy seems to have lost a bit of its luster since my last visit here a few years ago. When I texted one of my friends in Orlando to ask if Savoy was still decent, he told me most of the clientele were now much older, just there to ogle the very young (and emaciated) dancers and he was pretty much spot on. We stopped here at around 8 on a weekend evening, and we were by far the youngest customers in the place. The bar was full but not packed, with only a handful of people occupying the outdoor space in back. When we arrived, the lone hot bartender working at the time was friendly, quick with service and made us a few good drinks. By the time we were ready to order another round, a few additional bartenders had shown up and they totally screwed up my partner's drink order. This is most probably because they themselves had downed a few shots behind the bar in plain sight of everyone between the time they arrived and the time we ordered from them. The other thing that's changed since I was here last is that the farthest storefront to the left, which used to be part of Savoy and was a sports bar with a pool table and dart boards, etc. is no longer part of this bar, and is is now a separate lounge/restaurant/wine shop.

Harry T.

Yelp
We saw the comedy show on Tuesday July 12 at the Savoy. It was a spur of the moment decision, but it was so much fun. Glad we did it. All the performers were so much fun. We had a blast. Definitely will be going back to see more shows. Also the performers were very hospitable thanking the patrons as they left. My husband & I haven't seen that at a show in a long time, it was very refreshing.

Deshawn H.

Yelp
I have been coming here for several months the music sucks they only want to play music to one kind of race. Last night I ask the dJ to play a song he told me no. So I left and went to southern nights and have a blast they played my song and they mix the music up. Bye savoy
google avatar

Nili M.

Yelp
I have only been here once but I loved it. It is a gay bar but everyone is very respectful of one another and their beliefs. The people were super kind and fun. They let me choose the music to be played throughout the bar. The patio area is super cute and is where people sit back relax have a smoke, mingle, etc. Everyone is really friendly and I met a lot of cool people. The drinks are very reasonably priced too. I would like to go back. The crowd is a bit older though.

Yelp
My friends and I visited Orlando and wanted to check out a bar or two while here. We came to Savoy in hopes to lounge, watch a drag show or 2 and just relax or dance. The bar has a great concept. The layout was a bit weird though. There didn't seem to be a decent dressing room or designated area for the queens to get ready and appear from to perform (I could be wrong but I didn't see it anywhere and I roamed around lol). The show was short and amateurish. Personally it would have been nice to have a completely open bar area to get drinks and dance, then have the other room designated to sit, drink, and chat with a small area for the queens to perform like a cabaret type setting. The pool table definitely gave us something to do while hanging out. Overall it was a good place and the bartender was very nice and fast with making great drinks. I would only recommend the place if you're looking for just a small place to go and just hangout.
google avatar

Yelp
Whether you're visiting Orlando or are a resident, if you've not had a chance to visit Savoy, you're missing out. This is one of the most accepting, relaxing yet fun environments to have a cocktail and catch up with the best of Orlando. Try a blue snow cone shot or any beer, wine or cocktail and you will be surprised by the taste but not by the price. Take time out of your visit and make this a regular stop.

Antonio G.

Yelp
I would not be back after bad experience last night .... False ads advertising about they music they are play .... drink where not strong ..
google avatar

Linden J.

Yelp
Had a great time...karaoke was def the place to be after 5p.. it's a much older crowd at times but after 9 or starters to lighten up..When I come to Orlando from Jersey again I will definitely come again!!
google avatar

Colleen B.

Yelp
Pretty chill place, the smoking though... uggg... just can't enjoy a place as much as I want to when there is smoking allowed. Anyway, just tried to ignore it as much as I could. The bathrooms were a bit offsetting as they were basically unisex and there were no doors. $2 shots, yes please! Orange crush, yum! And helllllo, woodpecker cider =) The music could be a bit better but the DJ did play what we requested. It was a fun stop to end the night!
google avatar

Christopher O.

Yelp
Went there with friends one Sunday night to celebrate a birthday party. It was nice and the music playing was cool. There was a variety of age groups here so a little bit of something for everybody. The bartenders were nice and friendly and the dance boys seemed to be making money! I did enjoy the prices... Long Island Ice Teas for 4 dollars! plus my beer was a buck... two drinks for 5 bucks! Nice! I don't get out much these days but this might just become one of my favorite places to hang and watch the boys enjoy themselves! Enjoy!
google avatar

Antonio E.

Yelp
Really small bar located near Downtown Orlando. They have an outside patio and two pool tables indoor that only costs $1 per game. Drinks are pretty strong; depending on the night you go. Sunday nights currently have $1 Long Islands and gets pretty packed with mainly men. You can also text the DJ and put in a song request; most of the times he actually plays it. Parking is on the street, so sometimes it can be a bit hectic to find parking; especially on crowded nights. Definitely worth checking out if you've never been. By the way, happy hour everyday...
google avatar

Yelp
Where else can one go on a Tuesday night at 5pm for dollar martinis and free well/beer drinks? I am friends with Tadpole, one of the bartenders, and he makes the best best best passion fruit martini EVER. The go-go dancers are adorable and LOVE it when you tip them. It's a really fun place to sit and have a few drinks. The music is good, the specials are amazing and the service is great. Yes - they allow smoking (which gets intense at times) but I love how dark and naughty the decor feels. Only drawback? Parking. There's just mainly street parking.
google avatar

Mark F.

Yelp
I get it is dead on a Sunday, but the bartender doesn't even greet you. The drinks were cheap and tasted cheap. Not impressed
google avatar

Tommy B.

Yelp
I consider Savoy to be the best gay bar in Orlando. The drinks are inexpensive and there's some kind of drink special every night. They've done a good job in creating a back patio space. Locals and out-of-towners easily mingle. Savoy tends to start with an older (35+) crowd earlier in the evening, followed by a changing of the guard around 10:30/11:00 with an influx of the younger (20-something) boys. The clientele tends to be pretty mainstream gay, with dance music playing in the background. Good news for those who can't stand cigarette smoke! Savoy has added an adjoining storefront and made it into a smoke-free section called Tattoo. In an attempt to give this space a different look and feel, rock music is played here. Unfortunate because the general consensus among my friends is that dance music should be played in this section, too. This is Orlando, so the better nights are on the weekends, including Sunday. Mondays draw a decent crowd, too.
google avatar

Nathan R.

Yelp
Depending on your company, Savoy can be the cure for the common Orlando gay bar blues (trust me, it's a real affliction). It has a down tempo and casual atmosphere, with down tempo casual gay porn projecting from the plasmas. There is a pleasant patio area, two separate rooms -- one featuring a pool table and darts, the other a pool table and elevated dancers. Savoy generally plays good music, always has beefy scantily clad employees, and is almost always a good time. The drink specials can't be beat (especially those dollar long islands on Sundays and two dollar mojitos on Mondays), and while it can be considered to have a crowd of 40s and up there are your run of the mill young and eagers as well. My advice to newcomers of Savoy would be to make your first venture on a weekend night when it should be busier. For my money, Savoy definitely gives a bang for your buck.
google avatar

Frances F.

Yelp
No more $1 martinis :-( But don't worry - $1 well drinks replace them! At least early on during happy hour. The bartenders are sweet and attentive, and the dancers are.... entertaining. The restrooms are odd. Unisex and only the handicapped stall has a door. :-/ The clientele are older than the places I usually frequent, but whatever if you're there with good company. I personally LOVE the dance music... Most wouldn't agree.. but that's just my taste. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry remixes, George Micheal.. Sometimes I get a feeling like they are just streaming Sirius' BPM station.
google avatar

Marcus C.

Yelp
The best parts: * Hot bartenders * A DJ who accepts requests via text * Local bleached blonde ho who gyrated with the pool table "seductively" A fun night out with friends!
google avatar

Margaret S.

Yelp
Loved the decor and the bartenders ;) awesome drink specials too. Good/Normal selection of beers, I'm a fan of Magic Hat #9 and they had it. However... I was charged extra from what I wrote down on my tip for my bill... I've worked in the hospitality industry before and I know that is WRONG. Talked to my bank and I'll get the money back soon. As much as it pains me, I can't give them more than one star nor will I probably come back to visit. :(
google avatar

Ryan F.

Yelp
If it wasn't for the smoke I'd be able to give them 5 stars but I just can't get past it. Once, we walked up to the door, opened it to give something to someone, and came out smelling like smoke. Blech. BUT, otherwise Savoy is fun. It's a gay bar but isn't especially dirty feeling or sleezy as compared to some others in town. The staff are nice and they actually have good beers and good drink specials. We come here a lot with friends and I like the Locker Room side better because it is more low key. If you're in Ivanhoe Village and want to do something different, go to Savoy!
