Unfortunately Savoy seems to have lost a bit of its luster since my last visit here a few years ago. When I texted one of my friends in Orlando to ask if Savoy was still decent, he told me most of the clientele were now much older, just there to ogle the very young (and emaciated) dancers and he was pretty much spot on. We stopped here at around 8 on a weekend evening, and we were by far the youngest customers in the place. The bar was full but not packed, with only a handful of people occupying the outdoor space in back. When we arrived, the lone hot bartender working at the time was friendly, quick with service and made us a few good drinks. By the time we were ready to order another round, a few additional bartenders had shown up and they totally screwed up my partner's drink order. This is most probably because they themselves had downed a few shots behind the bar in plain sight of everyone between the time they arrived and the time we ordered from them.
The other thing that's changed since I was here last is that the farthest storefront to the left, which used to be part of Savoy and was a sports bar with a pool table and dart boards, etc. is no longer part of this bar, and is is now a separate lounge/restaurant/wine shop.
